We prove a analogous to Quillen's plus-construction in the category of algebras over an operad. For that purpose we prove that this category is a closed model category and prove the existence of an obstruction theory. We apply further this plus-construction for the specific cases of Lie algebras and Leibniz algebras which are a noncommutative version of Lie algebras: let sl(A) be the kernel of the trace map gl(A)A/[A,A], where A is an associative algebra with unit and gl(A) is the Lie algebra of matrices over A. Then the homotopy of slA)+ in the category of Lie algebras is the cyclic homology of A whereas it is the Hochschild homology of A in the category of Leibniz algebras.  相似文献

A special symplectic Lie group is a triple ${(G,\omega,\nabla)}$ such that G is a finite-dimensional real Lie group and ω is a left invariant symplectic form on G which is parallel with respect to a left invariant affine structure ${\nabla}$ . In this paper starting from a special symplectic Lie group we show how to “deform” the standard Lie group structure on the (co)tangent bundle through the left invariant affine structure ${\nabla}$ such that the resulting Lie group admits families of left invariant hypersymplectic structures and thus becomes a hypersymplectic Lie group. We consider the affine cotangent extension problem and then introduce notions of post-affine structure and post-left-symmetric algebra which is the underlying algebraic structure of a special symplectic Lie algebra. Furthermore, we give a kind of double extensions of special symplectic Lie groups in terms of post-left-symmetric algebras.  相似文献

In this paper, we define a notion of AS-Gorenstein algebra for N-graded algebras, and show that symmetric AS-regular algebras of Gorenstein parameter 1 are exactly preprojective algebras of quasi-Fano algebras. This result can be compared with the fact that symmetric graded Frobenius algebras of Gorenstein parameter −1 are exactly trivial extensions of finite-dimensional algebras. The results of this paper suggest that there is a strong interaction between classification problems in noncommutative algebraic geometry and those in representation theory of finite-dimensional algebras.  相似文献

Finite vs affine W-algebras   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In Section 1 we review various equivalent definitions of a vertex algebra V. The main novelty here is the definition in terms of an indefinite integral of the λ-bracket. In Section 2 we construct, in the most general framework, the Zhu algebra ZhuΓV, an associative algebra which “controls” Γ-twisted representations of the vertex algebra V with a given Hamiltonian operator H. An important special case of this construction is the H-twisted Zhu algebra ZhuH V. In Section 3 we review the theory of non-linear Lie conformal algebras (respectively non-linear Lie algebras). Their universal enveloping vertex algebras (resp. universal enveloping algebras) form an important class of freely generated vertex algebras (resp. PBW generated associative algebras). We also introduce the H-twisted Zhu non-linear Lie algebra ZhuH R of a non-linear Lie conformal algebra R and we show that its universal enveloping algebra is isomorphic to the H-twisted Zhu algebra of the universal enveloping vertex algebra of R. After a discussion of the necessary cohomological material in Section 4, we review in Section 5 the construction and basic properties of affine and finite W-algebras, obtained by the method of quantum Hamiltonian reduction. Those are some of the most intensively studied examples of freely generated vertex algebras and PBW generated associative algebras. Applying the machinery developed in Sections 3 and 4, we then show that the H-twisted Zhu algebra of an affine W-algebra is isomorphic to the finite W-algebra, attached to the same data. In Section 6 we define the Zhu algebra of a Poisson vertex algebra, and we discuss quasiclassical limits. In the Appendix, the equivalence of three definitions of a finite W-algebra is established. “I am an old man, and I know that a definition cannot be so complicated.” I.M. Geometry of the Moment Map for Representations of Quivers   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
We study the moment map associated to the cotangent bundle of the space of representations of a quiver, determining when it is flat, and giving a stratification of its Marsden–Weinstein reductions. In order to do this we determine the possible dimension vectors of simple representations of deformed preprojective algebras. In an appendix we use deformed preprojective algebras to give a simple proof of much of Kac's Theorem on representations of quivers in characteristic zero.  相似文献

We introduce obstructions to the existence of a calibrated G2-structure on a Lie algebra g of dimension seven, not necessarily nilpotent. In particular, we prove that if there is a Lie algebra epimorphism from g to a six-dimensional Lie algebra h with kernel contained in the center of g, then h has a symplectic form. As a consequence, we obtain a classification of the nilpotent Lie algebras that admit a calibrated G2-structure.  相似文献

Noncommutative Poisson algebras are the algebras having both an associative algebra structure and a Lie algebra structure together with the Leibniz law. In this article, the noncommutative Poisson algebra structures on sp2e(~CQ) are determined.  相似文献

For the cotangent bundle TQ of a smooth Riemannian manifold acted upon by the lift of a smooth and proper action by isometries of a Lie group, we characterize the symplectic normal space at any point. We show that this space splits as the direct sum of the cotangent bundle of a linear space and a symplectic linear space coming from reduction of a coadjoint orbit. This characterization of the symplectic normal space can be expressed solely in terms of the group action on the base manifold and the coadjoint representation. Some relevant particular cases are explored.  相似文献

A Poisson algebra is a Lie algebra endowed with a commutative associative product in such a way that the Lie and associative products are compatible via a Leibniz rule. If we part from a Lie color algebra, instead of a Lie algebra, a graded-commutative associative product and a graded-version Leibniz rule we get a so-called Poisson color algebra (of degree zero). This concept can be extended to any degree, so as to obtain the class of Poisson color algebras of arbitrary degree. This class turns out to be a wide class of algebras containing the ones of Lie color algebras (and so Lie superalgebras and Lie algebras), Poisson algebras, graded Poisson algebras, z-Poisson algebras, Gerstenhaber algebras, and Schouten algebras among other classes of algebras. The present paper is devoted to the study of structure of Poisson color algebras of degree g0, where g0 is some element of the grading group G such that g0 = 0 or 4g0≠0, and with restrictions neither on the dimension nor the base field, by stating a second Wedderburn-type theorem for this class of algebras.  相似文献

In the paper, some properties of algebras of associative type are studied, and these properties are then used to describe the structure of finite-dimensional semisimple modular Lie algebras. It is proved that the homogeneous radical of any finite-dimensional algebra of associative type coincides with the kernel of some form induced by the trace function with values in a polynomial ring. This fact is used to show that every finite-dimensional semisimple algebra of associative type A = ⊕ αεG A α graded by some group G, over a field of characteristic zero, has a nonzero component A 1 (where 1 stands for the identity element of G), and A 1 is a semisimple associative algebra. Let B = ⊕ αεG B α be a finite-dimensional semisimple Lie algebra over a prime field F p , and let B be graded by a commutative group G. If B = F p ? ? A L , where A L is the commutator algebra of a ?-algebra A = ⊕ αεG A α ; if ? ? ? A is an algebra of associative type, then the 1-component of the algebra K ? ? B, where K stands for the algebraic closure of the field F p , is the sum of some algebras of the form gl(n i ,K).  相似文献

Let (M, ω, Φ) be a Hamiltonian T-space and let H í T{H\subseteq T} be a closed Lie subtorus. Under some technical hypotheses on the moment map Φ, we prove that there is no additive torsion in the integral full orbifold K-theory of the orbifold symplectic quotient [M//H]. Our main technical tool is an extension to the case of moment map level sets the well-known result that components of the moment map of a Hamiltonian T-space M are Morse-Bott functions on M. As first applications, we conclude that a large class of symplectic toric orbifolds, as well as certain S 1-quotients of GKM spaces, have integral full orbifold K-theory that is free of additive torsion. Finally, we introduce the notion of semilocally Delzant which allows us to formulate sufficient conditions under which the hypotheses of the main theorem hold. We illustrate our results using low-rank coadjoint orbits of type A and B.  相似文献

Using the analytic assembly map that appears in the Baum-Connes conjecture in noncommutative geometry, we generalise the Guillemin-Sternberg conjecture that ‘quantisation commutes with reduction’ to (discrete series representations of) semisimple groups G with maximal compact subgroups K acting cocompactly on symplectic manifolds. We prove this generalised statement in cases where the image of the momentum map in question lies in the set of strongly elliptic elements , the set of elements of g with compact stabilisers. This assumption on the image of the momentum map is equivalent to the assumption that M=GK×N, for a compact Hamiltonian K-manifold N. The proof comes down to a reduction to the compact case. This reduction is based on a ‘quantisation commutes with induction’-principle, and involves a notion of induction of Hamiltonian group actions. This principle, in turn, is based on a version of the naturality of the assembly map for the inclusion K?G.  相似文献

Associated to any eight-dimensional non-unital composition algebra with associative norm, there are outer automorphisms of order 3 of the corresponding spin group, such tiat the fixed subgroup is the automorphism group of the composition algebra. Over fields of characteristic ≠ 3 these are simple algebraic groups of types G 2 or A 2, related respectively to the para-octonion and the Okubo algebras

A connection between the Okubo algebras over fields of characteristic 3 with some simple noncommutative Jordan algebras will be used to compute explicitly the automorphism groups and Lie algebras of derivations of these algebras. In contrast to the other characteristics, ths groups will no longer be of type A 2 and will either be trivial or contain a large unipotent radical.  相似文献

Nagata gave a fundamental sufficient condition on group actions on finitely generated commutative algebras for finite generation of the subalgebra of invariants. In this paper we consider groups acting on noncommutative algebras over a field of characteristic zero. We characterize all the T-ideals of the free associative algebra such that the algebra of invariants in the corresponding relatively free algebra is finitely generated for any group action from the class of Nagata. In particular, in the case of unitary algebras this condition is equivalent to the nilpotency of the algebra in Lie sense. As a consequence we extend the Hilbert-Nagata theorem on finite generation of the algebra of invariants to any finitely generated associative algebra which is Lie nilpotent. We also prove that the Hilbert series of the algebra of invariants of a group acting on a relatively free algebra with a non-matrix polynomial identity is rational, if the action satisfies the condition of Nagata.

We extend two well-known results on primitive ideals in enveloping algebras of semisimple Lie algebras, the Irreducibility theorem for associated varieties and Duflo theorem on primitive ideals, to much wider classes of algebras. Our general version of the Irreducibility Theorem says that if A is a positively filtered associative algebra such that gr A is a commutative Poisson algebra with finitely many symplectic leaves, then the associated variety of any primitive ideal in A is the closure of a single connected symplectic leaf. Our general version of the Duflo theorem says that if A is an algebra with a triangular structure, see § 2, then any primitive ideal in A is the annihilator of a simple highest weight module. Applications to symplectic reflection algebras and Cherednik algebras are discussed.  相似文献

Summary The moment map of symplectic geometry is extended to associate to any unitary representation of a nilpotent Lie group aG-invariant subset of the dual of the Lie algebra. We prove that this subset is the closed conex hull of the Kirillov orbit of the representation.Supported by NSERC research grant no. A7918  相似文献
