The design and synthesis of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted much interest due to the intriguing diversity of their architectures and topologies. However, building MOFs with different topological structures from the same ligand is still a challenge. Using 3‐nitro‐4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)benzoic acid (HL) as a new ligand, three novel MOFs, namely poly[[(N,N‐dimethylformamide‐κO)bis[μ2‐3‐nitro‐4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)benzoato‐κ3O,O′:N]cadmium(II)] N,N‐dimethylformamide monosolvate methanol monosolvate], {[Cd(C12H7N2O4)2(C3H7NO)]·C3H7NO·CH3OH}n, ( 1 ), poly[[(μ2‐acetato‐κ2O:O′)[μ3‐3‐nitro‐4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)benzoato‐κ3O:O′:N]bis[μ3‐3‐nitro‐4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)benzoato‐κ4O,O′:O′:N]dicadmium(II)] N,N‐dimethylacetamide disolvate monohydrate], {[Cd2(C12H7N2O4)3(CH3CO2)]·2C4H9NO·H2O}n, ( 2 ), and catena‐poly[[[diaquanickel(II)]‐bis[μ2‐3‐nitro‐4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)benzoato‐κ2O:N]] N,N‐dimethylacetamide disolvate], {[Ni(C12H7N2O4)2(H2O)2]·2C4H9NO}n, ( 3 ), have been prepared. Single‐crystal structure analysis shows that the CdII atom in MOF ( 1 ) has a distorted pentagonal bipyramidal [CdN2O5] coordination geometry. The [CdN2O5] units as 4‐connected nodes are interconnected by L? ligands to form a fourfold interpenetrating three‐dimensional (3D) framework with a dia topology. In MOF ( 2 ), there are two crystallographically different CdII ions showing a distorted pentagonal bipyramidal [CdNO6] and a distorted octahedral [CdN2O4] coordination geometry, respectively. Two CdII ions are connected by three carboxylate groups to form a binuclear [Cd2(COO)3] cluster. Each binuclear cluster as a 6‐connected node is further linked by acetate groups and L? ligands to produce a non‐interpenetrating 3D framework with a pcu topology. MOF ( 3 ) contains two crystallographically distinct NiII ions on special positions. Each NiII ion adopts an elongated octahedral [NiN2O4] geometry. Each NiII ion as a 4‐connected node is linked by L? ligands to generate a two‐dimensional network with an sql topology, which is further stabilized by two types of intermolecular OW—HW…O hydrogen bonds to form a 3D supramolecular framework. MOFs ( 1 )–( 3 ) were also characterized by powder X‐ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetic analysis. Furthermore, the solid‐state photoluminescence of HL and MOFs ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) have been investigated. The photoluminescence of MOFs ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) are enhanced and red‐shifted with respect to free HL. The gas adsorption investigation of MOF ( 2 ) indicates a good separation selectivity (71) of CO2/N2 at 273 K (i.e. the amount of CO2 adsorption is 71 times higher than N2 at the same pressure).  相似文献

Constructing hollow multi‐shelled structures (HoMSs) has a significant effect on promoting light absorption property of catalysts and enhancing their performance in solar energy conversion applications. A facile hydrothermal method is used to design the SrTiO3?TiO2 heterogeneous HoMSs by hydrothermal crystallization of SrTiO3 on the surface of the TiO2 HoMSs, which will realize a full coverage of SrTiO3 on the TiO2 surface and construct the SrTiO3/TiO2 junctions. The broccoli‐like SrTiO3?TiO2 heterogeneous HoMSs exhibited a fourfold higher overall water splitting performance of 10.6 μmol h?1 for H2 production and 5.1 μmol h?1 for O2 evolution than that of SrTiO3 nanoparticles and the apparent quantum efficiency (AQE) of 8.6 % at 365 nm, which can be mainly attributed to 1) HoMS increased the light absorption ability of the constructed photocatalysts and 2) the SrTiO3?TiO2 junctions boosted the separation efficiency of the photogenerated charge carriers.  相似文献

Two new metal‐organic frameworks (MOF), [(CuCN)2 · (6‐mquin)2] ( 1 ) and [Me3SnCu(CN)2 · (quina)2(H2O)2] ( 2 ) (6‐mquin = 6‐methyl quinolone, quina = quinaldic acid) were synthesized and characterized. Single crystals of MOF 1 were characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy, as well as X‐ray single crystal analysis. The structure of MOF 2 was studied by IR and NMR spectroscopy as well as computational studies. The structure of MOF 1 consists of 1D (CuCN)n chains, whereas the 6‐mquin ligands alternate on both sides of the chain. Hydrogen bonds play an essential role for the construction of the 3D network structure. On the other hand, the theoretical structural analysis of MOF 2 indicated that the Cu(CN)2 fragments represent the main building blocks of the structure, which are bridged by the Me3Sn+ cations to construct 1D infinite parallel zigzag chains. MOFs 1 and 2 were used as heterogeneous catalysts for the oxidative discoloration of methylene blue dye (MB) by H2O2.  相似文献

Employing immobilized metal‐ion affinity chromatography and magnetic separation could ideally provide a useful analytical strategy for purifying His‐tagged protein. In the current study, a facile route was designed to prepare CMPEI‐Ni2+@SiO2@Fe3O4 (CMPEI=carboxymethylated polyethyleneimine) magnetic nanoparticles composed of a strong magnetic core of Fe3O4 and a Ni2+‐immobilized carboxymethylated polyethyleneimine coated outside shell, which was formed by electrostatic interactions between polyanionic electrolyte of carboxymethylated polyethyleneimine and positively charged surface of 3‐(trimethoxysilyl)propylamin modified SiO2@Fe3O4. The resulting CMPEI‐Ni2+@SiO2@Fe3O4 composite nanoparticles displayed well‐uniform structure and high magnetic responsiveness. Hexa His‐tagged peptides and purified His‐tagged recombinant retinoid X receptor alpha were chosen as the model samples to evaluate the adsorption, capacity, and reusability of the composite nanoparticles. The results demonstrated the CMPEI‐Ni2+@SiO2@Fe3O4 nanoparticles possessed rapid adsorption, large capacity, and good recyclability. The obtained nanoparticles were further used to purify His‐tagged protein in practical environment. It was found that the nanoparticles could selectively capture His‐tagged recombinant retinoid X receptor protein from complex cell lysate. Owing to its easy synthesis, large binding capacity, and good reusability, the prepared CMPEI‐Ni2+@SiO2@Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles have great potential for application in biotechnological fields.  相似文献

Recently, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) with multifunctional pore chemistry have been intensively investigated for positioning the desired morphology at specific locations onto substrates for manufacturing devices. Herein, we develop a micro‐confined interfacial synthesis (MIS) approach for fabrication of a variety of free‐standing MOF superstructures with desired shapes. This approach for engineering MOFs provides three key features: 1) in situ synthesis of various free‐standing MOF superstructures with controlled compositions, shape, and thickness using a mold membrane; 2) adding magnetic functionality into MOF superstructures by loading with Fe3O4 nanoparticles; 3) transferring the synthesized MOF superstructural array on to flat or curved surface of various substrates. The MIS route with versatile potential opens the door for a number of new perspectives in various applications.  相似文献

The push to advance efficient, renewable, and clean energy sources has brought with it an effort to generate materials that are capable of storing hydrogen. Metal–organic framework materials (MOFs) have been the focus of many such studies as they are categorized for their large internal surface areas. We have addressed one of the major shortcomings of MOFs (their processibility) by creating and 3D printing a composite of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and MOF‐5, a prototypical MOF, which is often used to benchmark H2 uptake capacity of other MOFs. The ABS‐MOF‐5 composites can be printed at MOF‐5 compositions of 10% and below. Other physical and mechanical properties of the polymer (glass transition temperature, stress and strain at the breaking point, and Young's modulus) either remain unchanged or show some degree of hardening due to the interaction between the polymer and the MOF. We do observe some MOF‐5 degradation through the blending process, likely due to the ambient humidity through the purification and solvent casting steps. Even with this degradation, the MOF still retains some of its ability to uptake H2, seen in the ability of the composite to uptake more H2 than the pure polymer. The experiments and results described here represent a significant first step toward 3D printing MOF‐5‐based materials for H2 storage.  相似文献

The porous metal–organic framework (MOF) {[Zn2(TCPBDA)(H2O)2]?30 DMF?6 H2O}n ( SNU‐30 ; DMF=N,N‐dimethylformamide) has been prepared by the solvothermal reaction of N,N,N′,N′‐tetrakis(4‐carboxyphenyl)biphenyl‐4,4′‐diamine (H4TCPBDA) and Zn(NO3)2?6 H2O in DMF/tBuOH. The post‐synthetic modification of SNU‐30 by the insertion of 3,6‐di(4‐pyridyl)‐1,2,4,5‐tetrazine (bpta) affords single‐crystalline {[Zn2(TCPBDA)(bpta)]?23 DMF?4 H2O}n ( SNU‐31 SC ), in which channels are divided by the bpta linkers. Interestingly, unlike its pristine form, the bridging bpta ligand in the MOF is bent due to steric constraints. SNU‐31 can be also prepared through a one‐pot solvothermal synthesis from ZnII, TCPBDA4?, and bpta. The bpta linker can be liberated from this MOF by immersion in N,N‐diethylformamide (DEF) to afford the single‐crystalline SNU‐30 SC , which is structurally similar to SNU‐30 . This phenomenon of reversible insertion and removal of the bridging ligand while preserving the single crystallinity is unprecedented in MOFs. Desolvated solid SNU‐30′ adsorbs N2, O2, H2, CO2, and CH4 gases, whereas desolvated SNU‐31′ exhibits selective adsorption of CO2 over N2, O2, H2, and CH4, thus demonstrating that the gas adsorption properties of MOF can be modified by post‐synthetic insertion/removal of a bridging ligand.  相似文献

The loading of a metal‐organic framework (MOF), [Cu3(btc)2xH2O] HKUST‐1, with europium β‐diketonate complexes is studied with the goal to using the porous molecular framework as a photonic antenna. Whereas loading of HKUST‐1 powder particles produced via the conventional solvothermal synthesis method was strongly hindered, for HKUST‐1 SURMOFs, thin MOF films fabricated using the liquid phase epitaxy method, a high filling factor can be achieved. The optical properties of the HKUST‐1‐MOFs before and after loading were analysed with the aid of luminescence spectroscopy. Careful analysis of the absorption spectra reveals the presence of an effective energy transfer between the HKUST‐1 framework and the Eu3+ centers.  相似文献

Layered two‐dimensional (2D) conjugated metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) represent a family of rising electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), due to the controllable architectures, excellent electrical conductivity, and highly exposed well‐defined molecular active sites. Herein, we report a copper phthalocyanine based 2D conjugated MOF with square‐planar cobalt bis(dihydroxy) complexes (Co‐O4) as linkages (PcCu‐O8‐Co) and layer‐stacked structures prepared via solvothermal synthesis. PcCu‐O8‐Co 2D MOF mixed with carbon nanotubes exhibits excellent electrocatalytic ORR activity (E1/2=0.83 V vs. RHE, n=3.93, and jL=5.3 mA cm?2) in alkaline media, which is the record value among the reported intrinsic MOF electrocatalysts. Supported by in situ Raman spectro‐electrochemistry and theoretical modeling as well as contrast catalytic tests, we identified the cobalt nodes as ORR active sites. Furthermore, when employed as a cathode electrocatalyst for zinc–air batteries, PcCu‐O8‐Co delivers a maximum power density of 94 mW cm?2, outperforming the state‐of‐the‐art Pt/C electrocatalysts (78.3 mW cm?2).  相似文献

We adopted a facile hydrofluoric acid‐free hydro‐/solvothermal method for the preparation of four magnetic iron(III)‐based framework composites (MIL‐101@Fe3O4‐COOH, MIL‐101‐NH2@Fe3O4‐COOH, MIL‐53@Fe3O4‐COOH, and MIL‐53‐NH2@Fe3O4‐COOH). The obtained four magnetic iron(III)‐based framework composites were applied to magnetic separation and enrichment of the fungicides (prochloraz, myclobutanil, tebuconazole, and iprodione) from environmental samples before high‐performance liquid chromatographic analysis. MIL‐101‐NH2@Fe3O4‐COOH showed more remarkable pre‐concentration ability for the fungicides as compared to the other three magnetic iron(III)‐based framework composites. The extraction parameters affecting enrichment efficiency including extraction time, sample pH, elution time, and the desorption solvent were investigated and optimized. Under the optimized conditions, the standard curve of correlation coefficients were all above 0.991, the limits of detection were 0.04–0.4 μg/L, and the relative standard deviations were below 10.2%. The recoveries of two real water samples ranged from 71.1–99.1% at the low spiking level (30 μg/L). Therefore, the MIL‐101‐NH2@Fe3O4‐COOH composites are attractive for the rapid and efficient extraction of fungicides from environmental water samples.  相似文献

Three‐dimensional graphene‐supported mesoporous silica@Fe3O4 composites (mSiO2@Fe3O4‐G) were prepared by modifying mesoporous SiO2‐coated Fe3O4 onto hydrophobic graphene nanosheets through a simple adsorption co‐condensation method. The obtained composites possess unique properties of large surface area (332.9 m2/g), pore volume (0.68 cm3/g), highly open pore structure with uniform pore size (31.1 nm), as well as good magnetic separation properties. The adsorbent (mSiO2@Fe3O4‐G) was used for the magnetic solid‐phase extraction of seven pesticides with benzene rings in different aqueous samples before high‐performance liquid chromatography. The main parameters affecting the extraction such as adsorbent amount, volume of elution solvent, time of extraction and desorption, salt effect, oscillation rate were investigated. Under the optimal conditions, this method provided low limits of detection (S/N = 3, 0.525–3.30 μg/L) and good linearity (5.0–1000 μg/L, R2 > 0.9954). Method validation proved the feasibility of the developed adsorbent, which has a high extraction efficiency and excellent enhancement performance for pesticides in this study. The proposed method was successfully applied to real aqueous samples, and satisfactory recoveries ranging from 77.5 to 113.6% with relative standard deviations within 9.7% were obtained.  相似文献

A two‐dimensional π‐conjugated metal‐organic framework (MOF) with long‐range delocalized electrons has been prepared and applied as modified electrode material without further post‐modification. The MOF (Cu3(HHTP)2) is composed of Cu(II) centers and a redox‐active linker (2,3,6,7,10,11‐hexahydroxytriphenylene, HHTP). Compared to most MOFs, Cu3(HHTP)2 displays higher electrical conductivity and charge storage capacity owing to the collective effect of metal ions and aromatic ligands with π–π conjugation. In order to confirm the superior properties of this material, the electrochemical detection of dopamine (DA) was conducted and the satisfactory results were obtained. The currents increase linearly with the concentration of DA in the range 5.0 × 10?8 to 2.0 × 10?4 M with a detection limit of 5.1 nM. Furthermore, Cu3(HHTP)2 presents high selectivity and applicability in serum samples for electrochemical DA sensing. Overall, this material has excellent potential as a promising platform for establishing an MOF‐based electrochemical sensor.  相似文献

A UiO‐66‐NCS MOF was formed by postsynthetic modification of UiO‐66‐NH2. The UiO‐66‐NCS MOFs displays a circa 20‐fold increase in activity against the chemical warfare agent simulant dimethyl‐4‐nitrophenyl phosphate (DMNP) compared to UiO‐66‐NH2, making it the most active MOF materials using a validated high‐throughput screening. The ?NCS functional groups provide reactive handles for postsynthetic polymerization of the MOFs into functional materials. These MOFs can be tethered to amine‐terminated polypropylene polymers (Jeffamines) through a facile room‐temperature synthesis with no byproducts. The MOFs are then crosslinked into a MOF–polythiourea (MOF–PTU) composite material, maintaining the catalytic properties of the MOF and the flexibility of the polymer. This MOF–PTU hybrid material was spray‐coated onto Nyco textile fibers, displaying excellent adhesion to the fiber surface. The spray‐coated fibers were screened for the degradation of DMNP and showed durable catalytic reactivity.  相似文献

Ionic metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are a subclass of porous materials that have the ability to incorporate different charged species in confined nanospace by ion‐exchange. To date, however, very few examples combining mesoporosity and water stability have been realized in ionic MOF chemistry. Herein, we report the rational design and synthesis of a water‐stable anionic mesoporous MOF based on uranium and featuring tbo‐type topology. The resulting tbo MOF exhibits exceptionally large open cavities (3.9 nm) exceeding those of all known anionic MOFs. By supercritical CO2 activation, a record‐high Brunauer‐Emmett‐Teller (BET) surface area (2100 m2 g?1) for actinide‐based MOFs has been obtained. Most importantly, however, this new uranium‐based MOF is water‐stable and able to absorb positively charged ions selectively over negatively charged ones, enabling the efficient separation of organic dyes and biomolecules.  相似文献

A simple, rapid and efficient synthesis of the metal‐organic framework (MOF) HKUST‐1 [Cu3(1,3,5‐benzene‐tri‐carboxilic‐acid)2] by microwave irradiation is described, which afforded a homogeneous and highly selective material. The unusually short time to complete the synthesis by microwave irradiation is mainly attributable to rapid nucleation rather than to crystal growth rate. Using this method, HKUST‐1‐MW (MW=microwave) could be prepared within 20 min, whereas by hydrothermal synthesis, involving conventional heating, the preparation time is 8 h. Work efficiency was improved by the good performance of the obtained HKUST‐1‐MW which exhibited good selective adsorption of heavy metal ions, as well as a remarkably high adsorption affinity and adsorption capacity, but no adsorption of Hg2+ under the same experimental conditions. Of particular importance is the preservation of the structure after metal‐ion adsorption, which remained virtually intact, with only a few changes in X‐ray diffraction intensity and a moderate decline in surface area. Synthesis of the polyoxometalate‐containing HKUST‐1‐MW@H3PW12O40 afforded a MOF with enhanced stability in water, due to the introduced Keggin‐type phosphotungstate, which systematically occluded in the cavities constituting the walls between the mesopores. Different Cu/W ratios were investigated according to the extrusion rate of cooper ions concentration, without significant structural changes after adsorption. The MOFs obtained feature particle sizes between 10–20 μm and their structures were determined using synchrotron‐based X‐ray diffraction. The results of this study can be considered important for potentially wider future applications of MOFs, especially to attend environmental issues.  相似文献

Amorphous metal–organic frameworks (aMOFs) are an emerging family of attractive materials with great application potential, however aMOFs are usually prepared under harsh conditions and aMOFs with complex compositions and structures are rarely reported. In this work, an aMOF‐dominated nanocomposite (aMOF‐NC) with both structural and compositional complexity has been synthesized using a facile approach. A ligand‐competition amorphization mechanism is proposed based on experimental and density functional theory calculation results. The aMOF‐NC possesses a core–shell nanorod@nanosheet architecture, including a Fe‐rich Fe‐Co‐aMOF core and a Co‐rich Fe‐Co‐aMOF shell in the core–shell structured nanorod, and amorphous Co(OH)2 nanosheets as the outer layer. Benefiting from the structural and compositional heterogeneity, the aMOF‐NC demonstrates an excellent oxygen evolution reaction activity with a low overpotential of 249 mV at 10.0 mA cm?2 and Tafel slope of 39.5 mV dec?1.  相似文献

A novel metal–organic framework (MOF) was fabricated by spontaneous K+‐induced supramolecular self‐assembly with the embedded tripodal ligand units. When the 3D ligand was loaded onto Fe3O4@mSiO2 core‐shell nanoparticles, it could effectively separate K+ ions from a mixture of Na+, K+, Mg2+, and Ca2+ ions through nanoparticle‐assisted MOF crystallization into a Fe3O4@mSiO2@MOF hybrid material. Excess potassium ions could be extracted because of the specific cation–π interaction between K+ and the aromatic cavity of the MOF, leading to enhanced separation efficiency and suggesting a new application for MOFs.  相似文献

Using polynuclear metal clusters as nodes, many high‐symmetry high‐connectivity nets, like 8‐connnected bcu and 12‐connected fcu , have been attained in metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). However, construction of low‐symmetry high‐connected MOFs with a novel topology still remains a big challenge. For example, a uninodal 8‐connected lsz network, observed in inorganic ZrSiO4, has not been topologically identified in MOFs. Using 2,2′‐difluorobiphenyl‐4,4′‐dicarboxylic acid (H2L) as a new linker and 1,2,4‐triazole (Htrz) as a coligand, a novel three‐dimensional CdII–MOF, namely poly[tetrakis(μ4‐2,2′‐difluorobiphenyl‐4,4′‐dicarboxylato‐κ5O1,O1′:O1′:O4:O4′)tetrakis(N,N‐dimethylformamide‐κO)tetrakis(μ3‐1,2,4‐triazolato‐κ3N1:N2:N4)hexacadmium(II)], [Cd6(C14H6F2O4)4(C2H2N3)4(C3H7NO)4]n, (I), has been prepared. Single‐crystal structure analysis indicates that six different CdII ions co‐exist in (I) and each CdII ion displays a distorted [CdO4N2] octahedral geometry with four equatorial O atoms and two axial N atoms. Three CdII ions are connected by four carboxylate groups and four trz ligands to form a linear trinuclear [Cd3(COO)4(trz)4] cluster, as do the other three CdII ions. Two Cd3 clusters are linked by trz ligands in a μ1,2,4‐bridging mode to produce a two‐dimensional CdII–triazolate layer with (6,3) topology in the ab plane. These two‐dimensional layers are further pillared by the L2− ligands along the c axis to generate a complicated three‐dimensional framework. Topologically, regarding the Cd3 cluster as an 8‐connected node, the whole architecture of (I) is a uninodal 8‐connected lsz framework with the Schläfli symbol (422·66). Complex (I) was further characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder X‐ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis and a photoluminescence study. MOF (I) has a high thermal and water stability.  相似文献

TiO2?x with well‐controlled hollow multi‐shelled structures (HoMSs) were designed and synthesized, via a sequential templating approach (STA), to act as sulfur carrier materials. They were explored as physico‐chemical encapsulation materials. Particularly, the sulfur cathode based on triple‐shelled TiO2?x HoMSs delivered a specific capacity of 903 mAh g?1 with a capacity retention of 79 % at 0.5 C and a Coulombic efficiency of 97.5 % over 1000 cycles. The outstanding electrochemical performance is attributed to better spatial confinement and integrated conductivity of the intact triple‐shell that combine the features of physico‐chemical adsorption, short charge transfer path along with mechanical strength.  相似文献

Precise control of the micro‐/nanostructures of nanomaterials, such as hollow multi‐shelled structures (HoMSs), has shown its great advantages in various applications. Now, the crystal structure of building blocks of HoMSs are controlled by introducing the lattice distortion in HoMSs, for the first time. The lattice distortion located at the nanoscale interface of SnS2/SnO2 can provide additional active sites, which not only provide the catalytic activity under visible light but also improve the separation of photoexcited electron–hole pairs. Combined with the efficient light utilization, the natural advantage of HoMSs, a record catalytic activity was achieved in solid–gas system for CO2 reduction, with an excellent stability and 100 % CO selectivity without using any sensitizers or noble metals.  相似文献
