Mesocrystals of high‐magnesian calcites are commonly found in biogenic calcites. Under ambient conditions, it remains challenging to prepare mesocrystals of high‐magnesian calcite in aqueous solution. We report that mesocrystals of calcite with magnesium content of about 20 mol % can be obtained from the phase transformation of magnesian amorphous calcium carbonate (Mg‐ACC) in lipid solution. The limited water content on the Mg‐ACC surface would reduce the extent of the dissolution–reprecipitation process and bias the phase transformation pathway toward solid‐state reaction. We infer from the selected area electron diffraction patterns and the dark‐field transmission electron microscopic images that the formation of Mg‐calcite mesocrystals occurs through solid‐state secondary nucleation, for which the phase transformation is initiated near the mineral surface and the crystalline phase propagates gradually toward the interior part of the microspheres of Mg‐ACC.  相似文献

Three optimum conditions for the tuning of NMR probes are compared: the conventional tuning optimum, which is based on radio‐frequency pulse efficiency, the spin noise tuning optimum based on the line shape of the spin noise signal, and the newly introduced frequency shift tuning optimum, which minimizes the frequency pushing effect on strong signals. The latter results if the radiation damping feedback field is not in perfect quadrature to the precessing magnetization. According to the conventional RLC (resistor–inductor–capacitor) resonant circuit model, the optima should be identical, but significant deviations are found experimentally at low temperatures, in particular on cryogenically cooled probes. The existence of different optima with respect to frequency pushing and spin noise line shape has important consequences on the nonlinearity of spin dynamics at high polarization levels and the implementation of experiments on cold probes.  相似文献

The direct and selective functionalization of relatively simple and readily accessible precursors to produce highly functionalized alkyl boronates is a synthetically useful process. Herein we report a NiH‐catalyzed remote hydroarylation process that can, through a synergistic combination of chain walking and subsequent cross‐coupling, introduce an aryl group at the adjacent carbon atom of alkyl boronates under mild conditions. By means of a preliminary experiment with moderate enantioselectivity, it was shown that an asymmetric version could also be realized.  相似文献

The spatiotemporal regulation of light‐gated ion channels is a powerful tool to study physiological pathways and develop personalized theranostic modalities. So far, most existing light‐gated channels are limited by their action spectra in the ultraviolet (UV) or visible region. Simple and innovative strategies for the specific attachment of photoswitches on the cell surface without modifying or genetically encoding channel structures, and more importantly, that enable the remote activation of ion‐channel functions within near‐infrared (NIR) spectral window in living systems, remain a challenging concern. Herein, metabolic glycan biosynthesis is used to achieve site‐specific covalent attachment of near‐infrared‐light‐mediated lanthanide‐doped upconversion nanocrystals (UCNs) to the cell surface through copper‐free click cyclization. Upon irradiation with 808 nm light, the converted emission at 480 nm could activate a light‐gated ion channel, channelrhodopsins‐2 (ChR2), and thus remotely control the cation influx. This unique strategy provides valuable insights on the specific regulation membrane‐associated activities in vivo.  相似文献

Despite the tremendous efforts devoted to the structural analysis of hydrogel microspheres (microgels), many details of their structures remain unclear. Reported in this study is that thermoresponsive poly(N‐isopropyl acrylamide) (pNIPAm)‐based microgels exhibit not only the widely accepted core–shell structures, but also inhomogeneous decanano‐sized non‐thermoresponsive spherical domains within their dense cores, which was revealed by temperature‐controlled high‐speed atomic force microscopy (TC‐HS‐AFM). Based on a series of experiments, it is concluded that the non‐thermoresponsive domains are characteristic for pNIPAm microgels synthesized by precipitation polymerization, and plausible structures for microgels prepared by other polymerization techniques are proposed.  相似文献

Strain‐promoted oxidation‐controlled cyclooctyne‐1,2‐quinone cycloaddition (SPOCQ) between functionalized bicyclo[6.1.0]non‐4‐yne (BCN) and surface‐bound quinones revealed an unprecedented 100 % conjugation efficiency. In addition, monitoring by direct analysis in real time mass spectrometry (DART‐MS) revealed the underlying kinetics and activation parameters of this immobilization process in dependence on its microenvironment.  相似文献

Highly b‐oriented, closely packed, MFI zeolite films are prepared on seeded stainless‐steel plates using organic template‐free, secondary growth solutions, containing aluminum sulfate as a crystallization agent. The number of a‐oriented twin crystals is significantly reduced, and even eliminated, simply by restricting the pH value of the secondary growth solution to the narrow range of 11.1–11.3. Values of pH can be adjusted through the controlled addition of (NH4)2SO4 or H2SO4 to secondary growth solutions of the composition (1 SiO2:0.57 NaOH:137.5 H2O:0.0050 (Al2(SO4)3?18 H2O)) or by simply decreasing the molar composition of NaOH with no extra additives.  相似文献
