The first comprehensive study of the synthesis and structure–property relationships of 2,2′‐bis(benzo[b]phosphole)s and 2,2′‐benzo[b]phosphole–benzo[b]heterole hybrid π systems is reported. 2‐Bromobenzo[b]phosphole P‐oxide underwent copper‐assisted homocoupling (Ullmann coupling) and palladium‐catalyzed cross‐coupling (Stille coupling) to give new classes of benzo[b]phosphole derivatives. The benzo[b]phosphole–benzo[b]thiophene and ‐indole derivatives were further converted to P,X‐bridged terphenylenes (X=S, N) by a palladium‐catalyzed oxidative cycloaddition reaction with 4‐octyne through the Cβ? H activation. X‐ray analyses of three compounds showed that the benzo[b]phosphole‐benzo[b]heterole derivatives have coplanar π planes as a result of the effective conjugation through inter‐ring C? C bonds. The π–π* transition energies and redox potentials of the cis and trans isomers of bis(benzo[b]phosphole) P‐oxide are very close to each other, suggesting that their optical and electrochemical properties are little affected by the relative stereochemistry at the two phosphorus atoms. The optical properties of the benzo[b]phosphole–benzo[b]heterole hybrids are highly dependent on the benzo[b]heterole subunits. Steady‐state UV/Vis absorption/fluorescence spectroscopy, fluorescence lifetime measurements, and theoretical calculations of the non‐fused and acetylene‐fused benzo[b]phosphole–benzo[b]heterole π systems revealed that their emissive excited states consist of two different conformers in rapid equilibrium.  相似文献

A series of dithienylethene‐containing phosphole derivatives has been designed, synthesized and characterized. One of the compounds has been characterized by X‐ray crystallography. Upon photoexcitation, the compounds exhibit drastic color changes, ascribed to the reversible photochromic behavior. Their photochromic, photophysical and electrochemical properties have been studied. They show photochromic reactivities with high photocyclization quantum yields. Their photophysical and photochromic properties are found to be facilely tuned in this system by substitution at the phosphole backbone, as well as variation on the extent of π‐conjugation of the phosphole backbone. Some selected compounds have been demonstrated to exhibit photochromic properties in polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) films.  相似文献

Benzo[b]phosphole derivatives have attracted significant attention for their unique optoelectronic properties with potential for application in materials science. Herein we report a modular approach to a benzo[b]phosphole derivative based on a one‐pot sequential coupling of an arylzinc reagent, an alkyne, dichlorophenylphosphine (or phosphorus trichloride and a Grignard reagent), and an oxidant (for example H2O2, S, or Se). The approach allows for the construction of a library of previously inaccessible, structurally diverse benzo[b]phosphole derivatives with unprecedented ease.  相似文献

Photophysical properties of organic and organometallic luminophors are closely related with their molecular packings, enabling the exploitation of stimuli-responsive functional luminescent molecules. Mechanochromic molecules, which can change their luminescence characteristics after mechanical stimulus, have received an increasing interest due to their promising applications in multifunctional sensors and molecular switches. During the past two decades, the development of gold(I) chemistry has been attracting the attention of plenty of researchers. Indeed, a variety of gold(I) complexes with fascinating photophysical behaviors have been discovered. This review focuses on the research progress in the different types of mechanoluminochromic gold(I) complexes, including mono-, bi- and multi-nuclear gold(I) systems. Their interesting luminescence behaviors of these gold(I)-containing luminogens upon mechanical stimulus and the proposed mechanisms of their observed mechanochromic luminescence are summarized systematacially. Moreover, this review will put forward an outlook about the possible opportunities and challenges in this significative scientific field.  相似文献

Monometallic gold(I)‐alkynyl‐helicene complexes ( 1 a , b ) and bimetallic gold(I)‐alkynyl‐helicene architectures featuring the presence ( 2 a , b ) or absence ( 3 a , b ) of aurophilic intramolecular interactions were prepared by using different types of phosphole ligands (mono‐phosphole L1 or bis‐phospholes L2 , 3 ). The influence of the AuI d10 metal center(s) on the electronic, photophysical, and chiroptical properties of these unprecedented phosphole‐gold(I)‐alkynyl‐helicene complexes was examined. Experimental and theoretical results highlight the importance of ligand‐to‐ligand‐type charge transfers and the strong effect of the presence or absence of AuI–AuI interactions in 2 a , b .  相似文献

A series of gold(I)-monophosphole complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The introduction of a nitrogen moiety in the complex structure was envisioned either by choosing the bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imidate ligand as the X-ligand or by preparing a new pyrrolidinophosphole ligand as the L-ligand. All the complexes have been evaluated in vitro for their antimalarial activity. These gold–phosphole complexes showed moderate activities with IC50 values ranging from 9.7 to 24 μM against Plasmodium falciparum chloroquine-resistant strains.  相似文献

The first examples of a π-conjugated benzo[b]phosphole P-oxide in which two phosphole P-oxide units are connected by a carbon-carbon double bond are described. The molecules are synthesized as E isomers with respect to the carbon-carbon double bond and exist as stable cis and trans isomers (chiral and meso one respectively) relatively to the two stereogenic P atoms. The optical and electrochemical properties of both isomers have been investigated by experiment and computations.  相似文献

Two tetraphenylethene (TPE)‐functionalized spiropyran (SP) molecules with very similar structure were designed and synthesized. The two molecules exhibit aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) properties, as well as multistimuli‐responsive color‐changing properties, such as photochromism and acidchromism. The investigation of their different photochromic and acidchromic characteristics and dual‐response fluorescent switch during isomerization indicated that the different link position between TPE and SP will significantly affect the extended π‐conjugated system, resulting in completely different photochromic and acidchromic properties.  相似文献

Mechano‐induced phase transitions in organic crystalline materials, which can alter their properties, have received much attention. However, most mechano‐responsive molecular crystals exhibit crystal‐to‐amorphous phase transitions, and the intermolecular interaction patterns in the daughter phase are difficult to characterize. We have investigated phenyl(phenylisocyanide)gold(I) ( 1 ) and phenyl(3,5‐dimethylphenylisocyanide)gold(I) ( 2 ) complexes, which exhibit a mechano‐triggered single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal phase transition. Previous reports of complexes 1 and 2 have focused on the relationships between the crystalline structures and photoluminescence properties; in this work we have focused on other aspects. The face index measurements of complexes 1 and 2 before and after the mechano‐induced phase transitions have indicated that they undergo non‐epitaxial phase transitions without a rigorous orientational relationship between the mother and daughter phases. Differential scanning calorimetry analyses revealed the phase transition of complex 1 to be enthalpically driven by the formation of new aurophilic interactions. In contrast, the phase transition of complex 2 was found to be entropically driven, with the closure of an empty void in the mother phase. Scanning electron microscopy observation showed that the degree of the charging effect of both complexes 1 and 2 was changed by the phase transitions, which suggests that the formation of the aurophilic interactions affords more effective conductive pathways. Moreover, flash‐photolysis time‐resolved microwave conductivity measurements revealed that complex 1 increased in conductivity after the phase change, whereas the conductivity of complex 2 decreased. These contrasting results were explained by the different patterns in the aurophilic interactions. Finally, an intriguing disappearing polymorphism of complex 2 has been reported, in which a polymorph form could not be obtained again after some period of time, even with repeated trials. The present studies provide us with a variety of hitherto unknown insights into mechano‐responsive molecular crystals, which help us to understand the phase transition behaviors upon mechanical stimulation and establish rational design principles.  相似文献

Multistimuli‐responsive precise morphological control over self‐assembled polymers is of great importance for applications in nanoscience as drug delivery system. A novel pH, photoresponsive, and cyclodextrin‐responsive block copolymer were developed to investigate the reversible morphological transition from micelles to vesicles. The azobenzene‐containing block copolymer poly(ethylene oxide)‐b‐poly(2‐(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate‐co‐6‐(4‐phenylazo phenoxy)hexyl methacrylate) [PEO‐b‐P(DEAEMA‐co‐PPHMA)] was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization. This system can self‐assemble into vesicles in aqueous solution at pH 8. On adjusting the solution pH to 3, there was a transition from vesicles to micelles. The same behavior, that is, transition from vesicles to micelles was also realizable on addition of β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD) to the PEO‐b‐P(DEAEMA‐co‐PPHMA) solution at pH 8. Furthermore, after β‐CD was added, alternating irradiation of the solution with UV and visible light can also induce the reversible micelle‐to‐vesicle transition because of the photoinduced trans‐to‐cis isomerization of azobenzene units. The controlled atom transfer radical polymerization of an ionic liquid, 1‐(11‐acryloylundecyl)‐3‐methyl imidazolium bromide (ILBr), from both ends of a telechelic poly(propylene oxide) (PPO) macroinitiator, end‐functionalized with bromoisobutyryloyl is reported. The resulting highly water‐soluble triblock, poly(ILBr‐b‐PO‐b‐ILBr) is multistimuli responsive. This new class of triblocks exhibits classical surface activity in lowering surface tension at the air–water interface and in modifying wetting in waterborne coatings. It also immunizes model colloids against coagulation induced by Debye–Hückel (indifferent electrolyte) electrostatic screening. Further, sol–gel thermoreversibility is unexpectedly found as an additional form of stimuli responsiveness.  相似文献

The syntheses of three bis(benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐yl)methane derivatives, namely bis(benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐yl)methanone, C17H10OS2, (I), 1,1‐bis(benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐yl)‐3‐(trimethylsilyl)prop‐2‐yn‐1‐ol, C22H20OS2Si, (II), and 1,1‐bis(benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐yl)prop‐2‐yn‐1‐ol, C19H12OS2, (III), are described and their crystal structures discussed comparatively. The conformation of ketone (I) and the respective analogues are rather similar for most of the compounds compared. This is true for the interplanar angles, the Caryl—Cbridge—Caryl angles and the dihedral angles. The best resemblance is found for a bioisotere of (I), viz. 2,2′‐dinaphthyl ketone, (VII). By way of interest, the crystal packings also reveal similarities between (I) and (VII). In (I), the edge‐to‐face interactions seen between two napthyl residues in (VII) are substituted by S…π contacts between the benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐yl units in (I). In the structures of the bis(benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐yl)methanols, i.e. (II) and (III), the interplanar angles are also quite similar compared with analogues and related active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) containing the dithiophen‐2‐ylmethane scaffold, though the dihedral angles show a larger variability and produce unsymmetrical molecules.  相似文献

Supramolecular hydrogels constructed through molecular self‐assembly of small molecules have unique stimuli‐responsive properties; however, they are mechanically weak in general, relative to conventional polymer gels. Very recently, we developed a zwitterionic amino acid tethered amphiphilic molecule 1 , which gave rise to a remarkably stiff hydrogel comparable with polymer‐based agarose gel, retaining reversible thermal‐responsive properties. In this study, we describe that rational accumulation of multiple and orthogonal noncovalent interactions in the supramolecular nanofibers of 1 played crucial roles not only in the mechanical reinforcement but also in the multistimuli responsiveness. That is, the zwitterionic amino acid moiety and the C C double bond unit of the hydrogelator 1 can function as a pH‐responsive unit and a light‐responsive unit, respectively. We also demonstrated that this stiff and multistimuli‐responsive supramolecular hydrogel 1 is applied as a unique mold for 2D and 3D‐patterning of various substances. More significantly, we succeeded in the fabrication of a collagen gel for spatial patterning, culturing, and differentiation of live cells by using hydrogel 1 molds equipped with 2D/3D microspace channels (100–200 μm in diameter).  相似文献

Metallo‐supramolecular core cross‐linked (CCL) micelles are fabricated from terpyridine‐functionalized double hydrophilic block copolymers, poly(2‐(2‐methoxyethoxy)ethyl methacrylate)‐b‐poly(2‐(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate‐co‐4′‐(6‐methacryloxyhexyloxy)‐2,2′:6′,2″‐terpyridine) [PMEO2MA‐b‐P(DEA‐co‐TPHMA)] via the formation of bis(terpyridine)ruthenium(II) complexes. These metallo‐supramolecular CCL micelles exhibit not only high structural integrity under different pH values and temperatures in aqueous solution, but multistimuli responsiveness including pH‐responsive cores, thermo‐responsive shells, and reversible dissociation of bis(terpyridine)ruthenium(II) complexes upon addition of competitive metal ion chelator, which allows for precisely controlled release of the encapsulated hydrophobic guest molecules via the combination of different stimuli.

Two tri(benzo[b]thiopheno)subporphyrazine regioisomers with C3 and C1 molecular symmetry have been isolated from the cyclotrimerization of benzo[b]thiophene‐2,3‐dicarbonitrile as the first five‐membered‐heterocycle‐fused subphthalocyanine analogues. Optical resolution of both regioisomers was achieved by using a chiral HPLC technique, affording the first chiral subphthalocyanine analogues.  相似文献

A series of chiral mono‐, di‐, and trinuclear gold(I) complexes have been prepared and used as precatalysts in the asymmetric cyclohydroamination of N‐protected γ‐allenyl sulfonamides. The stereodirecting ligands were mono‐, di‐, and tridentate 2,5‐diphenylphospholanes, which possessed C1, C2, and C3 symmetry, respectively, thereby rendering the catalytic sites in the di‐ and trinuclear complexes symmetry equivalent. The C3‐symmetric trinuclear complex displayed the highest activity and enantioselectivity (up to 95 % ee), whilst its mono‐ and dinuclear counterparts exhibited considerably lower enantioselectivities and activities. A similar trend was observed in a series of mono‐, di‐, and trinuclear 2,5‐dimethylphospholane gold(I) complexes. Aurophilic interactions were established from the solid‐state structures of the trinuclear gold(I) complexes, thereby raising the question as to whether these secondary forces were responsible for the different catalytic behavior observed.  相似文献

A new series of benzo[g]thiazolo[2,3‐b]quinazolin‐4‐ium and benzo[g]benzo[4,5]thiazolo[2,3‐b]quinazolin‐14‐ium hydroxide derivatives have been synthesized by the one‐pot, three‐component reaction of aryl glyoxal monohydrates, 2‐hydroxy‐1,4‐naphthoquinone, and 2‐aminothiazole or 2‐aminobenzothiazole in the presence of triethylamine and p‐toluenesulfonic acid as organocatalysts in H2O/acetone (2:1) at room temperature. This method offers mild reaction conditions, excellent yields, easy workup, and readily accessible starting materials and catalysts.  相似文献

A gold‐catalyzed cycloisomerization of silyl‐protected 2‐(1‐alkynyl)‐2‐alken‐1‐(2‐furanyl)‐1‐ols with various nucleophiles including water, alcohol, aniline, sulfonamide, and electron‐rich arene has been developed. The method provides a highly efficient access to 5,7‐disubstituted or 2,5,7‐trisubstituted benzo[b]furans with a wide diversity of substituents under mild reaction conditions, which are not easily available by other methods. Remarkably, an interesting rearrangement of the alkyl group from C2 to the C3 position of the furan ring takes place during the cyclization process. The following gold‐assisted allylic substitution enables an elaboration of benzo[b]furans on its side chain of the C5 position with a wide range of functional groups.  相似文献

The synthesis and unique optoelectronic features of a π‐conjugated polymer containing both thiophene and 1‐phenylphosphole sulfide units (multiple heteroles) in the main chain by the post‐element transformation of a regioregular organometallic polymer possessing titanacyclopentadiene‐2,5‐diyl unit are described. The π‐conjugated polymer containing multiple heteroles was obtained in 73% yield by the simultaneous reaction of the organotitanium polymer with sulfur monochloride and dichlorophenylphosphine (0.6 equiv each), whose number‐average molecular weight (Mn) and the molecular‐weight distribution (Mw/Mn) were estimated to be 11,000 and 3.4, respectively, by the size exclusion chromatography (SEC). The π‐conjugated polymer thus obtained was found to have the high HOMO and the low LUMO energy levels due to the electron‐rich thiophene and electron‐deficient phosphole sulfide units, respectively, as supported by its cyclic voltammetry (CV) analysis. Compared to a mixture of a polymer containing sole thiophene‐unit and that containing sole phosphole sulfide units, the π‐conjugated polymer‐containing multiple heteroles proved to exhibit interesting optical properties. For example, a specific emission peak was observed at 608 nm in the photoluminescence spectrum, which was not observed in the case of the thiophene‐containing polymer, the phosphole‐containing polymer, and their mixture. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of tetracyanoruthenate(II) with chelating pyridyl N‐heterocyclic carbene ligands (NHC‐py) was synthesized and characterized. Their photophysical and electrochemical properties as well as the photochromic behavior of their dithienylethene‐containing complexes were studied. Photocyclization was found to take place upon irradiation into the metal‐to‐ligand charge transfer (MLCT) absorption bands of these complexes, and evidence is provided to support the triplet‐sensitizing reaction pathway.  相似文献
