In this paper we examine infinite-dimensional control systems governed by semilinear evolution equations and having both state and control constraint. We introduce the relaxed system and show that the original trajectories are dense in an appropriate function space in the relaxed ones. We also determine the dependence of the solution set on the initial conditions. Then using those results we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for optimality for some optimization problems. Finally we prove some controllability results. 相似文献

In this paper, we consider a minimax problem of optimal control for a class of strongly nonlinear uncertain evolution equations on a Banach space. We prove the existence of optimal controls. This paper studies the well-posedness of a class of non-autonomous neutral control systems in Banach spaces. We prove that such systems are represented by absolutely regular non-autonomous linear systems in the sense of Schnaubelt [R. Schnaubelt, Feedback for non-autonomous regular linear systems, SIAM J. Control Optim. 41 (2002) 1141-1165]. This paper can be considered as the non-autonomous version of the work presented in [H. Bounit, S. Hadd, Regular linear systems governed by neutral FDEs, J. Math. We consider the optimal control problem for systems described by nonlinear equations of elliptic type. If the nonlinear term in the equation is smooth and the nonlinearity increases at a comparatively low rate of growth, then necessary conditions for optimality can be obtained by well-known methods. For small values of the nonlinearity exponent in the smooth case, we propose to approximate the state operator by a certain differentiable operator. We show that the solution of the approximate problem obtained by standard methods ensures that the optimality criterion for the initial problem is close to its minimal value. For sufficiently large values of the nonlinearity exponent, the dependence of the state function on the control is nondifferentiable even under smoothness conditions for the operator. But this dependence becomes differentiable in a certain extended sense, which is sufficient for obtaining necessary conditions for optimality. Finally, if there is no smoothness and no restrictions are imposed on the nonlinearity exponent of the equation, then a smooth approximation of the state operator is possible. Next, we obtain necessary conditions for optimality of the approximate problem using the notion of extended differentiability of the solution of the equation approximated with respect to the control, and then we show that the optimal control of the approximated extremum problem minimizes the original functional with arbitrary accuracy. 相似文献

In the paper, the approximate controllability of linear abstractsecond-order infinite-dimensional dynamical systems is considered.Using the frequency-domain method, it is proved that approximatecontrollability of such a system follows from that of a suitablydefined first-order system. The general results are then appliedto investigating the approximate controllability of a vibratorydynamical system modelling a flexible mechanical structure.Some special case are also considered. Suppose that a static-state feedback stabilizes a continuous-time linear infinite-dimensional control system. We consider the following question: if we construct a sampled-data controller by applying an idealized sample-and-hold process to a continuous-time stabilizing feedback, will this sampled-data controller stabilize the system for all sufficiently small sampling times? Here the state space and the control space are Hilbert spaces, the system is of the form , where is the generator of a strongly continuous semigroup on , and the continuous time feedback is . The answer to the above question is known to be ``yes' if and are finite-dimensional spaces. In the infinite-dimensional case, if is not compact, then it is easy to find counterexamples. Therefore, we restrict attention to compact feedback. We show that the answer to the above question is ``yes', if is a bounded operator from into . Moreover, if is unbounded, we show that the answer ``yes' remains correct, provided that the semigroup generated by is analytic. We use the theory developed for static-state feedback to obtain analogous results for dynamic-output feedback control.

The paper studies the minimum energy control problem for linear infinite-dimensional systems with an unbounded input operator and zero terminal state. This problem is approximated by the minimum energy control problem with a small terminal state for which the solution is derived in feedback form. The operators which comprise the feedback are described in terms of differential relations which, depending on circumstances, involve Liapunov or Riccati differential equations. We consider an infinite-dimensional dynamical system with polynomial nonlinearity and additive noise given by a finite number of Wiener processes. By studying how randomness is spread by the dynamics, we develop in this setting a partial counterpart of Hörmander's classical theory of Hypoelliptic operators. We study the distributions of finite-dimensional projections of the solutions and give conditions that provide existence and smoothness of densities of these distributions with respect to the Lebesgue measure. We also apply our results to concrete SPDEs such as a Stochastic Reaction Diffusion Equation and the Stochastic 2D Navier-Stokes System. 相似文献

Let A be a possibly unbounded skew-adjoint operator on the Hilbert space X with compact resolvent. Let C be a bounded operator from D(A) to another Hilbert space Y. We consider the system governed by the state equation with the output y(t)=Cz(t). We characterize the exact observability of this system only in terms of C and of the spectral elements of the operator A. The starting point in the proof of this result is a Hautus-type test, recently obtained in Burq and Zworski (J. Amer. Soc. 17 (2004) 443-471) and Miller (J. Funct. Anal. 218 (2) (2005) 425-444). We then apply this result to various systems governed by partial differential equations with observation on the boundary of the domain. The Schrödinger equation, the Bernoulli-Euler plate equation and the wave equation in a square are considered. For the plate and Schrödinger equations, the main novelty brought in by our results is that we prove the exact boundary observability for an arbitrarily small observed part of the boundary. This is done by combining our spectral observability test to a theorem of Beurling on nonharmonic Fourier series and to a new number theoretic result on shifted squares. 相似文献
