The electrical breakdown of microwave plasma in water was investigated between 1 and 30 kPa. The dependency of the ignition power for generating plasma on the size of coaxial electrode was measured. The ignition power decreases with a decrease of the diameter of the inner electrode. The behavior of microwave plasma in water was observed using a high-speed camera. The plasma ignites in a bubble generated by microwave heating. The model for calculating the electric field was created on the basis of the captured images of the bubble just before plasma ignition. The method presented can be used to visualize the electrical field distribution in the bubble. The electric field breakdown was calculated using the measured ignition power. The electric field breakdown of plasma in water is of the same order as gas phase plasma.  相似文献

Conditions for the electric breakdown of the accelerating gap of a plasma electron source are determined. It is shown that, depending on the gas pressure and the size of openings in the emission electrode, two types of breakdown can occur. One of them is due to the ignition of a low-voltage discharge between the electrodes of the accelerating system, and the other one is caused by switching of the main discharge from the anode to the accelerating electrode.  相似文献

The effect of oxygen plasma treatment on the performance of GaN Schottky barrier diodes is studied. The GaN surface is intentionally exposed to oxygen plasma generated in an inductively coupled plasma etching system before Schottky metal deposition. The reverse leakage current of the treated diodes is suppressed in low bias range with enhanced diode ideality factor and series resistance. However, in high bias range the treated diodes exhibit higher reverse leakage current and corresponding lower breakdown voltage. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis reveals the growth of a thin GaOx layer on GaN surface during oxygen plasma treatment. Under sub-bandgap light illumination, the plasma-treated diodes show larger photovoltaic response compared with that of untreated diodes, suggesting that additional defect states at GaN surface are induced by the oxygen plasma treatment.  相似文献

Optical emissions from the major and trace elements embodied in a transparent gel prepared from cooking oil were detected after the gel was spread in a thin film on a metallic substrate. Such emissions are due to the indirect breakdown of the coating layer. The generated plasma, a mixture of substances from the substrate, the layer, and the ambient gas, was characterized using emission spectroscopy. The characteristics of the plasma formed on the metal with and without the coating layer were investigated. The results showed that Al emission induced from the aluminum substrates coated with oil films extends away from the target surface to ablate the oil film. This finally formed a bifurcating circulation of aluminum vapor against a spherical confinement wall in the front of the plume, which differed from the evolution of the plasma induced from the uncoated aluminum target. The strongest emissions of elements from the oil films can be observed at 2 mm above the target after a detection delay of 1.0 μs. A high temperature zone has been observed in the plasma after the delay of 1.0 μs for the plasma induced from the coated metal. This higher temperature determined in the plasma allows the consideration of the sensitive detection of trace elements in liquids, gels, biological samples, or thin films.  相似文献

A new ignition method of the spark gap based on plasma ejection is proposed in this paper, as the conventional trigatron spark gap performs poorly under the low working coefficient (the ratio of the charging voltage to the self‐breakdown voltage) in air. The plasma is generated by the capillary discharge, which has high pressure, high temperature and high velocity. The capillary discharge device is placed inside the low voltage electrode. As long as the triggering signal is sent to the device, a column of the plasma flow is ejected in axial direction and develops rapidly towards the high voltage electrode. Subsequently, the gap is broken down and a high resistive channel is formed, where the thermal ionization takes place and the arc across the whole gap is generated and develops into a well conductive channel. The process of the thermal ionization of the high resistive channel varies with the change of the spark gap distance. The breakdown delay and the delay jitter of the spark gap increase with the spark gap distance, as both parameters are mainly determined by the developing process of the plasma ejection. The characteristics of the plasma flow determine the possibility of the breakdown of the spark gap under the low working coefficient. The ignition method based on capillary plasma ejection has been proved by the preliminary experiments, which indicate that under the gap length of 8 cm and the working coefficient of less than 3%, the effective ignition is still achievable.  相似文献

传统的等离子体闪光法,是根据探测器是否接收到来自薄膜样片周围发射的闪光信号,对薄膜是否发生损伤进行评判,这样的评判方法极易把空气与薄膜的等离子体闪光混淆而发生误判。为了消除这种误判,提出通过比较空气和薄膜各自的等离子体闪光的点燃时间,利用两者时间上的差异,实现对传统等离子体闪光法误判现象的消除方法。为了验证新方法的可靠性,借助于多光子吸收和级联电离理论,建立了空气等离体子体点燃时间的计算模型,根据薄膜与激光的相互作用原理建立了薄膜被击穿时的等离子体点燃时间计算模型,利用建立的模型仿真计算了空气和薄膜的等离子体闪光点燃时间分别为1.856和7.843 ns;搭建实验装置以实现对传统等离子体闪光法的更新,在装置中的不同位置设置三个光电探测器分别采集入射激光信号、空气和薄膜等离子体闪光信号,采集入射激光信号的光电探测器置于聚焦透镜的侧面,另外两个探测器位于薄膜样片周围且左右对称放置,分别用于采集薄膜的等离子体闪光信号和空气的等离子体闪光信号,所有光电探测器采集的信号转换为电信号后同步传输至示波器,以入射激光信号为基准信号,其与空气和薄膜等离子体闪光信号的起始时刻之差,分别为空气和薄膜等离子体闪光点燃时间。脉宽为10 ns、波长为1 064 nm的Nd∶YAG脉冲激光以0.015 cm的聚焦光斑半径、82.4 mJ的入射能量作用于光学厚度为λ/4、直径为20 mm的单层Al2O3薄膜样片上后,采集上述激光作用条件下的各路信号,经处理后得到的空气和薄膜的等离子体闪光点燃时间测试值分别为2.7和7.8 ns;理论计算和实验测试结果表明,空气的点燃时间总是小于薄膜的点燃时间,二者有很好的一致性。说明当强激光作用于单层Al2O3薄膜表面时,空气等离子体闪光先于薄膜等离子体闪光发生。基于空气和薄膜等离子体闪光点燃时间上的这种差异,利用闪光信号时间上的差别就可准确分辨出薄膜是否发生损伤,从而获得识别薄膜损伤与否的判据,这种从时间差异上识别薄膜等离子体闪光损伤的新方法,无论从理论上还是实验上均为传统等离子体闪光法误判现象的消除提供了技术基础。  相似文献

忆阻器和能量存储电容器具有相同的三明治结构,然而两个器件需要的操作电压有明显差异,因此在同一个器件中,研究操作电压的影响因素并对操作电压进行调控,实现器件在不同领域的应用是十分必要的一个工作.本文利用反应磁控溅射技术在ITO导电玻璃、Pt/Si基底上生长了多晶ZrO_2和非晶TaO_x薄膜,选用不同金属材料Au, Ag和Al用作上电极构建了多种金属/氧化物介质/金属三明治结构的电容器,研究了器件在不同偏压极性下的击穿强度.结果发现:底电极是ITO的ZrO_2基电容器在负偏压下的击穿电场比Pt电极器件稍大.不管底电极是ITO还是Pt, Ag作为上电极时器件的击穿强度均存在明显的偏压极性依赖性,正偏压下的击穿电场减小了一个数量级;相反,在Al作为上电极的Al/TaO_x/Pt器件中,正向偏压比负向偏压下的击穿电场增加了近2倍.上述器件的不同击穿行为分别可以由氧化物电极和介质界面层间氧的迁移和重排、电化学活性金属电极的溶解迁移和还原以及化学活性金属电极与氧化物界面的氧化还原反应来解释.该实验结果对有不同操作电压要求的器件,如忆阻器和介质储能电容器等在器件设计和操作方面具有指导意义.  相似文献

采用动电位极化、循环伏安、交流阻抗和扫描电镜等技术研究了钽在四乙基氯化铵(TEA)乙醇溶液中的腐蚀行为.在循环伏安曲线的扫描初期,电极表面因存在一薄层氧化物膜而使得电流密度缓慢增 加.后来钝化膜因受到氯离子的攻击而被击穿,即点蚀.扫描电镜图很好地显示出蚀孔的生长过程.点蚀电位随着TEA浓度的增加而下降,随着水含量的增加而上升.在所研究的温度范围内,电化学反应的活化能为36 kJ/mol.所有电极电位下的交流阻抗图谱都包含两个时间常数,钝化膜电阻和电荷传递电阻均随电极电位的增加而下降.  相似文献

采用常压空气辉光放电(APGD)技术在自行设计的电极板表面产生出一薄层低温等离子体,并利用光谱诊断光学系统对所产生的等离子体进行光辐射特性实验测量;实验获取了几种电极板在几个不同加载功率下的辐射光谱,并对光谱的辐射强度进行平均化处理分析。分析结果表明此沿面APGD的光辐射强度与加载功率之间存在线性增加的关系,且随电极板静态电容的增加而增强。该方法可以为控制APGD等离子体的产生量提供一种简便可行的途径。  相似文献

In this study, surface Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) actuators powered by nanosecond pulsed high voltage are investigated. The goal is to experimentally characterize the surface DBD actuators in terms of electrical and geometrical parameters.The actuators are made of two conducting electrodes separated by a thin dielectric (Kapton films) and arranged asymmetrically. The active electrode is connected to a pulsed high voltage power supply (voltage up to ±10 kV, rise and fall times of 50 ns and pulse width of 250 ns) and the second electrode is grounded.The experimental results show that the energy per pulse (normalized by the length of the active electrode) is smaller when one increases the inter-electrode spacing between 1 and 3 mm, the thickness of the dielectric barrier between 120 and 360 μm or the length of the electrodes between 10 and 50 cm, for both applied voltage polarities.Optical characterization of the plasma layer for different electrode gaps has been investigated by using an ICCD camera. Results indicate that the plasma produced by positive and negative rising voltage propagates in a streamer-like regime with numerous and well-distributed channels, for any electrode gap distance. However, the positive and negative falling voltage produces similar discharges only for large electrode gaps. In this case, the plasma layer starts from a corona spot in contact with the active electrode and expands in the direction of the grounded electrode in a plume shape.  相似文献

The plasma block (piston) with pressure P 1 is generated as a result of the nonlinear (ponderomotive) force in laser–plasma interaction. The plasma block can be used for the ignition of a fusion flame front in a solid density deuterium–tritium (DT) target by compressing the fuel that creates an ion shock propagating with velocity u ion? shock in the inside of a solid DT target. The ignition is achieved by creating an ion shock during the final stages of the implosion. We estimated the effect of an ion shock in solid DT target at an early stage with no compression and at the last stage with compression, where density increases by a factor of solid-state density. According to the theoretical model, a large target with a very thin layer of fuel (high-aspect ratio target) would be ideal to obtain the very strong shocks. Results indicate that the maximum compression even by an infinitely strong single shock can never produce more than four times the initial density of DT fuel. The results reported that the threshold ignition energy in a solid DT target is reduced by a factor of 4.  相似文献

 设计了液体介质快脉冲击穿试验装置和电压电流测量系统,研究了重复频率、电极形状及电极间距与介质击穿场强、击穿电压和击穿时延等击穿特性参数的关系,比较了变压器油、十二烷基苯、蓖麻油三种典型液体绝缘介质在直流及快脉冲电压作用下的绝缘性能。结果表明:短脉冲持续时间下液体绝缘材料有异常高的击穿场强;重复脉冲串作用下的击穿场强比单个脉冲下明显减小,重复频率2 kHz时击穿场强减小了约30%;电极头半径大小对击穿也有影响,半径R=5 mm时,击穿电压最高;击穿时延随击穿场强减小而变长,在其他条件相同的情况下,测得击穿时延随机波动;蓖麻油的快脉冲电压绝缘性能最好,变压器油次之。  相似文献

This work presents a new possibility of generating in-liquids Ar bubbled plasma by using a single electrode placed in a quartz tube. When the electrode is powered with ac high voltage the plasma is generated between the electrode's free end and the wall of Ar bubble. The ignition mechanism of plasma is analyzed and the generated active species are identified. The plasma was tested for the decomposition of methylene blue aqueous solutions and for the concurrent synthesis of very small solid particles. The influence of the methylene blue initial concentration and of the treatment time on the processes was studied.  相似文献

Experimental data on electric breakdown in a 0.35 mm high-vacuum gap due to rectangular high-voltage pulses is presented. In one system vacuum was achieved using an oil diffusion pump, in the other, using an ion-sorption pump.It is shown that oil vapor and the cracking products of the oil formed during breakdown affect the probability distribution of breakdowns. Conditioning is linked to the dynamic processes of rupture and of reestablishing initiating centers on the electrode surface. A physical model is suggested for the conditioning processes.  相似文献

建立了多层串联PZT95/5爆电换能组件3维数值模型,对固化封装条件下陶瓷介质击穿问题进行了计算分析,计算结果表明:在不改动器件外部结构尺寸条件下,采用等厚度PZT95/5叠片结构布局对进一步提高输出电压方面存在瓶颈。为克服上述影响以及降低爆电换能组件击穿概率,提出了PZT95/5铁电陶瓷非等厚度布局解决方案。为实现上述设想,通过引入不等式约束条件计算得到一组非等厚度优化布局,将爆电换能组件所用PZT95/5铁电陶瓷数量减至19片,同时有效实现该布局下,各片PZT95/5陶瓷电压均低于对应厚度击穿电压的优化目标。  相似文献

多组分燃料在热板的蒸发与着火规律与空间相比,具有一些新的特点,特别是乳化油的贴壁燃烧现象更有重要意义。本文通过实验将多组分与单组分的燃烧情况进行了对比研究。结果表明:(1)易挥发组分的着火延迟在较低的温度条件下长于不易挥发份,在较高温度时情况相反。混合物则居于其中;(2)对于含水的乳化油,燃烧与微爆发生先后同的外界条件有关,其着火过程极为迅速。(3)乳化油中易挥发燃料含量较高,环境温度也较高时,微爆滞后很明显。  相似文献

The dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) is a highly transient, non‐thermal discharge form, which exists in a broad pressure range. It occurs in arrangements, where a dielectric layer covers at least one electrode. The dielectric quenches the current and distributes the discharge over the whole surface. Depending on the geometrical conditions three basic types of DBD arrangements are distinguished. In arrangements with a gas gap a filamentary or a homogeneous‐diffuse discharge mode appears. The (stable) filamentary mode consists of a multitude of microdischarges, which in some extent can be rather easily tailored for e. g. plasma‐chemical applications. In arrangements with a long electrode (or several in parallel) on a dielectric surface and a plane counter‐electrode on the reverse side of the dielectric, pure surface discharges can be observed. They are characterised by low ignition voltages. The extension of the discharge on the surface depends on the voltage amplitude. If pairs of long electrodes are within the bulk of a dielectric, discharge phenomena appear on the surface of the dielectric. As these devices can be produced with small and precise electrode gaps, high mean field strengths in the discharge region can be realised. The properties of the discharges in these arrangements as well as their dynamics are described in detail and compared with one another. The advantages of each type are highlighted. Some aspects, which may be of interest for plasma‐chemical reactions on surfaces and in the gas space are discussed.  相似文献

The influences of the plasma ignition condition in plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition (PECVD) on the interfaces and the microstructures of hydrogenated microcrystalline Si (μc-Si:H) thin films are investigated. The plasma ignition condition is modified by varying the ratio of SiH4 to H2 (RH). For plasma ignited with a constant gas ratio, the time-resolved optical emission spectroscopy presents a low value of the emission intensity ratio of Hα to SiH* (I/ISiH*) at the initial stage, which leads to a thick amorphous incubation layer. For the ignition condition with a profiling RH, the higher I/ISiH* values are realized. By optimizing the RH modulation, a uniform crystallinity along the growth direction and a denser μ c-Si:H film can be obtained. However, an excessively high I/ISiH* may damage the interface properties, which is indicated by capacitance-voltage (C-V) measurements. Well controlling the ignition condition is critically important for the applications of Si thin films.  相似文献
