We consider, in this paper, the following nonlinear equation with variable exponents: where a,b>0 are constants and the exponents of nonlinearity m,p, and r are given functions. We prove a finite‐time blow‐up result for the solutions with negative initial energy and for certain solutions with positive energy.  相似文献

The paper deals with the existence and uniqueness of smooth solution for a generalized Zakharov equation. We establish local in time existence and uniqueness in the case of dimension d=2,3. Moreover, by using the conservation laws and Brezis-Gallouet inequality, the solution can be extended globally in time in two dimensional case for small initial data. Besides, we also prove global existence of smooth solution in one spatial dimension without any small assumption for initial data.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider initial boundary value problem of the generalized Boussinesq equation with nonlinear interior source and boundary absorptive terms. We establish firstly the local existence of solutions by standard Galerkin method. Then we prove both the global existence of the solution and a general decay of the energy functions under some restrictions on the initial data. We also prove a blow-up result for solutions with positive and negative initial energy respectively.  相似文献

In this article we find the exact traveling wave solutions of the generalized nonlinear Schrödinger (GNLS) equation with variable coefficients using three methods via the generalized extended tanh-function method, the sine-cosine method and the exp-function method. The main objective of this article is to compare the efficiency of these methods by delivering the exact traveling wave solutions of the proposed nonlinear equation.  相似文献

A shallow water equation of Camassa-Holm type, containing nonlinear dissipative effect, is investigated. Using the techniques of the pseudoparabolic regularization and some prior estimates derived from the equation itself, we establish the existence and uniqueness of its local solution in Sobolev space Hs(R) with . Meanwhile, a new lemma and a sufficient condition which guarantee the existence of solutions of the equation in lower order Sobolev space Hs with are presented.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the asymptotic behavior of solutions of the critical generalized Korteweg-de Vries equation in a bounded interval with a localized damping term. Combining multiplier techniques and compactness arguments it is shown that the problem of exponential decay of the energy is reduced to prove the unique continuation property of weak solutions. A locally uniform stabilization result is derived.

Solitary wave solutions are obtained for the generalized Korteweg-de-Vries (gKdV) equation with time-dependent damping and dispersion by using the tanh-coth method, the exp-function method and the modified sine-cosine method. These methods are useful and efficient and a variety of solitary wave solutions are obtained that possess variable coefficients.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the Cauchy problem for the generalized Boussinesq‐type equation with strong damping. By defining a suitable solution space with time‐weighted norms and under smallness condition on the initial data, we establish the global existence and decay property of the solutions. In this article, we investigate a nonlinear viscoelastic equation with nonlinear localized damping and velocity-dependent material density. We prove the global existence of weak solutions and general decay of the energy by using the Faedo–Galerkin method [Z.Y. Zhang and X.J. Miao, Global existence and uniform decay for wave equation with dissipative term and boundary damping, Comput. Math. Appl. 59 (2010), pp. 1003–1018; J.Y. Park and J.R. Kang, Global existence and uniform decay for a nonlinear viscoelastic equation with damping, Acta Appl. Math. 110 (2010), pp. 1393–1406] and the perturbed energy method [Zhang and Miao (2010); X.S. Han, and M.X. Wang, Global existence and uniform decay for a nonlinear viscoelastic equation with damping, Nonlinear Anal. TMA. 70 (2009), pp. 3090–3098], respectively. Furthermore, for certain initial data and suitable conditions on the relaxation function, we show that the energy decays exponentially or polynomially depending the rate of the decay of the relaxation function. An initial boundary value problem for the generalized Boussinesq equation with allowance for linear dissipation and free electron sources is considered. The strong generalized time-local solvability of the problem is proved. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the blowup of the solution and for time-global solvability.
