A protocol for transferring an unknown single qubit state evidences quantum features when the average fidelity of the outcomes is, in principle, greater than 2/32/3. We propose to use the probabilistic and unambiguous state extraction scheme   as a mechanism to redistribute the fidelity in the outcome of the standard teleportation when the process is performed with an XX-state as a noisy quantum channel. We show that the entanglement of the channel is necessary but not sufficient in order for the average fidelity fXfX to display quantum features, i.e., we find a threshold CXCX for the concurrence of the channel. On the other hand, if the mechanism for redistributing fidelity is successful then we find a filterable outcome with average fidelity fX,0fX,0 that can be greater than fXfX. In addition, we find the threshold concurrence of the channel CX,0CX,0 in order for the average fidelity fX,0fX,0 to display quantum features and surprisingly, the threshold concurrence CX,0CX,0 can be less than CXCX. Even more, we find some special cases for which the threshold values become zero.  相似文献

Based on numerical evaluations of the transition probabilities, and using true superlattice eigenfunctions derived from the theory of finite periodic systems, new superlattice selection rules are obtained. We show that the evaluation of the large number N   of the possible recombination transitions reduces by a factor of two. We also show that taking into account these selection rules, the theoretical calculations for specific blue emitting GaN?(InxGa1-xN?InyGa1-yN)n?GaNGaN?(InxGa1-xN?InyGa1-yN)n?GaN superlattices agree with those reported by Nakamura et al. We study the electrical transport properties of a quantum point contact between a lead and a high Tc superconductor. For this, we use the Hamiltonian approach and non-equilibrium Green functions of the system. The electrical current and the shot noise are calculated with this formalism. We consider dx2−y2dx2y2, dxydxy, dx2−y2+isdx2y2+is and dxy+isdxy+is symmetries for the pair potential. Also we explore the s+−s+ and s++s++ symmetries describing the behavior of the ferropnictides superconductors. We found that for dxydxy symmetry there is not a zero bias conductance peak and for d+isd+is symmetries there is a displacement of the transport properties. From shot noise and current, the Fano factor is calculated and we found that it takes values of effective charge between e and 2e  , this is explained by the diffraction of quasiparticles in the contact. For the s+−s+ and s++s++ symmetries the results show that the electrical current and the shot noise depend on the mixing coefficient, furthermore, the effective electric charge can take values between 0 and 2e, in contrast with the results obtained for s wave superconductors.  相似文献

Based on ab initio   electronic structure calculations by self-interaction-corrected local-density-approximation (SIC-LDA) with the Korringa–Kohn–Rostoker coherent potential approximation (KKR-CPA), we propose a materials design for high efficiency photovoltaic solar cells (PVSCs). It is shown that (i) the concentration dependence of the mixing energy of CuIn1−xGaxSe2CuIn1xGaxSe2 shows upward convexity, thus this system favors phase separation. Due to the type II band alignment between CuInSe2CuInSe2 and CuGaSe2CuGaSe2, efficient electron–hole separation is realized in decomposed phase of this system. (ii) CuIn1−xZn0.5xSn0.5xSe2CuIn1xZn0.5xSn0.5xSe2 has a direct band gap and no impurity state appears in the gap. Therefore, cost reduction is possible by using Zn and Sn instead of In. (iii) n-type CuAl1−xSnxS2CuAl1xSnxS2 and p-type Cu1−xVCuxAlS2Cu1xVCuxAlS2 have negative activation energy for doped impurities and are expected to be low-resistive transparent conducting sulfides, which should be useful for CuInSe2CuInSe2-based PVSCs.  相似文献

In this thesis, we have studied a quantum dot engine with two discrete energy levels. Based on the model, expressions for the power output and efficiency of the quantum dot engine cycle are derived. The effects of the energy level E1E1 and the energy space ΔE=E2E1ΔE=E2E1 on the performance of the quantum dot engine are revealed. The optimal performance characteristics of the quantum dot engine are analyzed by a numerical calculation and graphic method. Furthermore, some important operating regions, including the power output, efficiency and temperatures of the cyclic working substance are determined and evaluated optimally.  相似文献

In this work we study the critical behavior of the quantum spin-1/2 anisotropic Heisenberg antiferromagnet in the presence of a longitudinal field on a body centered cubic (bcc) lattice as a function of temperature, anisotropy parameter (Δ)(Δ) and magnetic field (H  ), where Δ=0Δ=0 and 1 correspond the isotropic Heisenberg and Ising models, respectively. We use the framework of the differential operator technique in the effective-field theory with finite cluster of N  =4 spins (EFT-4). The staggered ms=(mAmB)/2ms=(mAmB)/2 and total m=(mA+mB)/2m=(mA+mB)/2 magnetizations are numerically calculated, where in the limit of ms→0ms0 the critical line TN(H,Δ)TN(H,Δ) is obtained. The phase diagram in the T−HTH plane is discussed as a function of the parameter ΔΔ for all values of H∈[0,Hc(Δ)]H[0,Hc(Δ)], where Hc(Δ)Hc(Δ) correspond the critical field (TN=0)(TN=0). Special focus is given in the low temperature region, where a reentrant behavior is observed around of H=Hc(Δ)≥Hc(Δ=1)=8JH=Hc(Δ)Hc(Δ=1)=8J in the Ising limit, results in accordance with Monte Carlo simulation, and also was observed for all values of Δ∈[0,1]Δ[0,1]. This reentrant behavior increases with increase of the anisotropy parameter ΔΔ. In the limit of low field, our results for the Heisenberg limit are compared with series expansion values.  相似文献

Fisher information, Rényi entropy power and Fisher–Rényi information product are presented for the Dicke model. There is a quantum phase transition in this quantum optical model. It is pointed out that there is an abrupt change in the Fisher information, Rényi entropy power, the Fisher, Shannon and Rényi lengths at the transition point. It is found that these quantities diverge as the characteristic length: |λc−λ|−1/4|λcλ|1/4 around the critical value of the coupling strength λcλc for any value of the parameter ββ.  相似文献

In this work, we explore a new connection between quantum groups and Tsallis entropy through the energy spectrum of a Hamiltonian with SUq(2)SUq(2) symmetry. Identifying the deformation parameter of the entropy with the parameter of deformation of the associated quantum group, we deduce Tsallis entropy for states related to such a system with SUq(2)SUq(2) symmetry and conducted an investigation of quantum entanglement.  相似文献

The third-harmonic generation (THG) in asymmetric coupled quantum wells (ACQWs) for different values of the well parameter ΔΔ and width of barrier (WB)(WB) are theoretically studied. The analytical expression of the third-harmonic generation is derived by using the compact density-matrix approach and the iterative method. Finally, the numerical calculations are presented for typical GaAs/AlxGa1−xAs asymmetric coupled quantum wells. Results obtained show that the third-harmonic generation in the asymmetric coupled quantum wells can be importantly modified by the parameter ΔΔ and WBWB. Moreover, third-harmonic generation also depends on the relaxation rate of the asymmetric coupled quantum wells.  相似文献

Using numerical simulations of quenched SU(2)SU(2) gauge theory we demonstrate that an external magnetic field leads to spontaneous generation of quark condensates with quantum numbers of electrically charged ρ   mesons if the strength of the magnetic field exceeds the critical value eBc=0.927(77) GeV2eBc=0.927(77) GeV2 or Bc=(1.56±0.13)⋅1016 TeslaBc=(1.56±0.13)1016 Tesla. The condensation of the charged ρ mesons in strong magnetic field is a key feature of the magnetic-field-induced electromagnetic superconductivity of the vacuum.  相似文献

We introduce and study the Hermitian matrix model with potential Vs,t(x)=x2/2−stx/(1−tx)Vs,t(x)=x2/2stx/(1tx), which enumerates the number of linear chord diagrams with no isolated vertices of fixed genus with specified numbers of backbones generated by s and chords generated by t. For the one-cut solution, the partition function, correlators and free energies are convergent for small t and all s   as a perturbation of the Gaussian potential, which arises for st=0st=0. This perturbation is computed using the formalism of the topological recursion. The corresponding enumeration of chord diagrams gives at once the number of RNA complexes of a given topology as well as the number of cells in Riemann?s moduli spaces for bordered surfaces. The free energies are computed here in principle for all genera and explicitly in genus less than four.  相似文献

The spin fluctuations and superconducting pairing symmetries in the dispersive band of Lieb lattice are studied by fluctuation exchange approximation. The antiferromagnetic spin density wave is found to exist on the A sublattice (the lattice sites with four nearest neighbors) at half filling. When slightly doped away from half filling, a balance between the combined effects of the (π,ππ,π) and (0.4π,00.4π,0) spin fluctuations and the gaining of the condensation energy leads to the nearly degenerate dx2y2dx2y2- and gxy(x2y2)gxy(x2y2)-wave pairing states. After further doped, the dxydxy-wave state is favored via the intra-sublattice spin fluctuations with a wave vector (π,0π,0). We emphasize that the sublattices' contribution and the renormalization of the spectral function play a crucial role on the spin fluctuations and the pairing symmetry. The effect of the imbalance of the on-site energy at different sublattices is also discussed.  相似文献
