We obtain differential cross sections for the reaction e−+p→Σ0+νe, for incident electron energies from 0.5 GeV to 6.0 GeV. This calculation is phenomenologically based and makes use of SU(3) and SU(2) relations. We obtain contributions of the individual form factors to the differential cross section and show that the vector current form factor dominates in the region of observability. We also obtain reaction rates for a standard set of conditions. Finally we compare this case with that for Λ production and discuss what might be learned from this reaction concerning the structure of the weak, strangeness changing, hadronic current. 相似文献

The photon asymmetry (Σ) of the 12C(
,pn) reaction has been measured using linearly polarised tagged photons at the Mainz microtron MAMI for Eγ=180–340 MeV. The data have been analysed in separate missing energy (Em) regions corresponding to the ejection of nucleons from (1p)2 and (1p)(1s) shells. The measured Σ values for both Em regions are smaller in magnitude than corresponding 2H data, but the (1p)2 results have a similar Eγ dependence. Calculations of direct two-nucleon emission overestimate the magnitude of Σ at all photon energies. 相似文献

We present a gauge-invariant approach to photoproduction of mesons on nucleons within a chiral unitary framework. The interaction
kernel for meson-baryon scattering is derived from the chiral effective Lagrangian and iterated in a Bethe-Salpeter equation.
Within the leading-order approximation to the interaction kernel, data on kaon photoproduction from SAPHIR, CLAS and CBELSA/TAPS
are analyzed in the threshold region. The importance of gauge invariance and the precision of various approximations in the

A theoretical approach to describe electro- and photofission processes at intermediate energies was worked out. Photopion
reabsorption mechanisms by two and three nucleons (2NA and 3NA) were incorporated in the calculations. The comparison with electrofission data for preactinides showed that a substantial
3NA component should be added in the pion absorption to fit the data near photopion threshold, in accordance with a recent theoretical
estimate. It was also shown that the shape of the fission response curve is sensitive to detailed aspects of the pion mean
free path.

We consider a massive Rarita-Schwinger field on the Anti-de Sitter space and solve the corresponding equations of motion. We show that appropriate boundary terms calculated on-shell give two-point correlation functions for spin-3/2 fields of the conformal field theory on the boundary. We present a systematic analysis of backward pion photoproduction for the reactions
p
p and
p
n . Regge phenomenology is applied at invariant collision energies above 3GeV in order to fix the reaction amplitude. A comparision
with older data on - and -photoproduction at = 180° indicates that the high-energy limit as given by the Regge calculation could be reached possibly at energies of around ≃ 3 GeV. In the energy region of
2.5 GeV, covered by the new measurements of
p
p differential cross-sections at large angles at ELSA, JLab, and LEPS, we see no clear signal for a convergence towards the
Regge results. The baryon trajectories obtained in our analysis are in good agreement with those given by the spectrum of

We calculate the effect of the less singular terms at small x on the evolution of the coefficient function in φ3 theory in six dimensions, which result from a complete solution of the ladder equation. We provide an overall picture of the magnetic critical behavior of the Ising and three-state Potts models on fractal structures. The results brought out from Monte Carlo simulations for several Hausdorff dimensions between 1 and 3 show that this behavior can be understood in the framework of weak universality. Moreover, the maxima of the susceptibility follow power laws in a very reliable way, which allows us to calculate the ratio of the exponents γ/ν and the anomalous dimension exponent η in a reliable way. We reconsider the problem of calculating a general spectral correlation function containing an arbitrary number of products and ratios of characteristic polynomials for a N×N random matrix taken from the Gaussian Unitary Ensemble (GUE). Deviating from the standard “supersymmetry” approach, we integrate out Grassmann variables at the early stage and circumvent the use of the Hubbard–Stratonovich transformation in the “bosonic” sector. The method, suggested recently by J.V. Fyodorov [Nucl. Phys. B 621 [PM] (2002) 643], is shown to be capable of calculation when reinforced with a generalisation of the Itzykson–Zuber integral to a non-compact integration manifold. We arrive to such a generalisation by discussing the Duistermaat–Heckman localisation principle for integrals over non-compact homogeneous Kähler manifolds. In the limit of large-N the asymptotic expression for the correlation function reproduces the result outlined earlier by A.V. Andreev and B.D. Simons [Phys. Rev. Lett. 75 (1995) 2304]. 相似文献

Binding energies for an exciton (X) trapped in the two-dimensional quantum dot by a positive ion located on the z axis at a distance d from the dot plane are calculated by using the method of few-body physics. This configuration is called a barrier (D+,X) center. The dependence of the binding energy of the ground state of the barrier (D+,X) center on the dot radius for a few values of the distance d between the fixed positive ion on the z axis and the dot plane is obtained. We find that when d<0.2nm the barrier (D+,X) center does not form a bound state. 相似文献

Differential cross sections for Compton scattering by the proton have been measured in the energy interval between 200 and 500 MeV at scattering angles of θcms = 75° and θcms = 90° using the CATS, the CATS/TRAJAN, and the COPP setups with the Glasgow Tagger at MAMI (Mainz). The data are compared with predictions from dispersion theory using photo-meson amplitudes from the recent VPI solution SM95. The experiment and the theoretical procedure are described in detail. It is found that the experiment and predictions are in agreement as far as the energy dependence of the differential cross sections in the Δ-range is concerned. However, there is evidence that a scaling down of the resonance part of the photo-meson amplitude by (2.8 ± 0.9)% is required in comparison with the VPI analysis.
