Rare earth permanent magnets are very sensitive to temperature as an overheating can lead to a partial or a total demagnetization. It is then necessary to determine the losses in the permanent magnets to design with accuracy an electromagnetic system. In fact, if the permanent magnet experiences a high frequency magnetic field, significant losses appear. In the literature, these losses are calculated assuming the permanent magnet to be a bulk conductive material. In this work, we aim at verifying this assumption and we give a method to determine the equivalent conductivity. Then, we present a comparison between calculated and measured characteristics of two permanent magnet samples.  相似文献

In the paper, the problem of magnetic drag and origination of energy losses in noncontact bearings based on high-temperature superconducting tapes is considered. The model configurations of bearings in which a superconducting tape is a stator and a set of permanent magnets is a rotor are investigated. It is shown that the magnetic friction can be neglected in the case where more than eight permanent magnets compose the rotor. This result indicates the possibility to create scaled magnetic bearings for the systems of long-term energy storage, for example, flywheel energy storage systems.  相似文献

The effect of periodic variations of the shape of a homogeneous superconductor on its dynamics in an axisymmetric magnetic field produced by permanent magnets is studied in the case in which the gravity and inertia forces are directed along the axis of the suspension. The shape of the body varies in accordance with a harmonic law from an oblong to an oblate ellipsoid. The dependences of the forces and moments acting on the body on its position in the suspension and shape are obtained. It is shown that the periodic variation of the shape is responsible for excitation of vibrations and may lead to instability of the body. Calculations are performed in the quasi-stationary approximation.  相似文献

研究了两种磁悬浮系统组态中圆台形辅助永磁体厚度对高温超导体捕获磁场和超导磁悬浮力的影响。结果表明,圆台形辅助永磁体的下表面和GdBCO超导体上表面同处在一个水平面上,磁化用圆台形辅助永磁体的厚度H从5 mm增加到45 mm时,超导体捕获磁场和磁悬浮力与圆台形辅助永磁体的厚度直接相关。(1)当圆台形辅助永磁体的北极垂直向上且用液氮冷却后移除辅助永磁体时,最大磁悬浮力从21.8 N增大到26.5 N,再减小到22.9 N;(2)当圆台形辅助永磁体的北极垂直向下且用液氮冷却后移除辅助永磁体时,最大磁悬浮力从20.5 N减小到11.9 N ,再增加到20.4 N;(3)两种磁悬浮系统组态中最大磁悬浮力不一致,与零场冷情况下的最大磁悬浮力14.6 N也不同。在超导磁悬浮应用系统设计中,只有科学选择辅助永磁体形状和尺寸,合理设计组合方式,才能获得较强的磁场强度,提高超导磁悬浮力特性,该结果对促进高温超导体的实际应用具有重要的指导作用。  相似文献

Hot deformation is one of the primary methods for fabricating anisotropic rare earth permanent magnets. Firstly,rapidly quenched powder flakes with a nanocrystal structure are condensed into fully dense isotropic precursors using the hot-pressing process. The prepared isotropic precursors are then hot-deformed to produce high-anisotropy uniaxial bulk rare earth permanent magnets and a highly textured structure is produced via this process. The resulting magnets possess many advantages such as near-net-shape, outstanding corrosion resistance, and ultrafine-grain structure. The influence of the preparation parameters utilized in the hot-pressing and deformation processes on the magnetic properties and microstructure of the permanent magnets are systemically summarized in this report. As a near-net-shape technique, the hot deformation process has notable advantages with regard to the production of irregular shapes, especially for radially oriented ringshaped magnets with high length-diameter ratios or thin walls. The difficulties associated with the fabrication of crack-free,homogeneous, and non-decentered ring-shaped magnets are substantially resolved through an emphasis on mold design,adjustment of deformation parameters, and application of theoretical simulation. Considering the characteristics of hotdeformed magnets which include grain shape and size, anisotropic distribution of intergranular phases, etc., investigation and improvement of the mechanical and electric properties, in addition to thermal stability, with the objective of improving the application of hot-deformed magnets or ring-shaped magnets, is of practical significance.  相似文献

Sm_2Co_(17)型永磁合金大量使用在上海同步辐射光源储存环的永磁型波荡器上,在受到长期辐照后会发生磁性能损失的现象,进而影响同步辐射光的品质.为了探索其潜在的微观机理,本文首先对Sm_2Co_(17)型永磁合金所处混合辐射场的粒子及相关物理量进行了计算分析,确定引发磁性能损失的主要粒子是中子.然后采用Ar离子模拟中子辐照损伤的方法对其进行辐照,采用透射电镜对其辐照前后的微观形貌及微观结构进行了研究探讨,采用振动样品磁强计对永磁合金辐照前后的饱和磁化强度进行了分析对比,并讨论了微观结构演化与宏观磁性能变化的联系.结果表明,Ar离子辐照后Sm_2Co_(17)型永磁合金饱和磁化强度的不可逆损失与微观结构变化有直接的关系,其2:17相从单晶结构转变为非晶结构是造成其磁性能损失可能的微观机制.  相似文献

Verification of macroscopic quantum mechanics requires that the position measurement accuracy of mirrors of various mass scales reach the Standard Quantum Limit (SQL) derived from Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. At mg-scale, thermal noise of the suspension wire of the mirror is an issue to reach the SQL. We propose to use a magnetic levitation system consisting of permanent magnets and yokes, noting the fact that a silica mirror is diamagnetic, and have succeeded in the experimental verification to levitate a 0.1-1 mg silica mass. This is the first demonstration of the levitation system with this mass scale and this magnetic susceptibility scale using permanent magnets as far as we know. We also estimated major noise sources for a 0.1 mg silica mirror and found the noise level to be lower than the SQL at 400 Hz-18 kHz. In conclusion, the levitation system of a mg-scale mirror for the use in a macroscopic quantum measurement was realized.  相似文献

利用磁路法理论分析了磁阻对铁镓驱动磁场的影响,结果表明磁路中无永磁体时铁镓驱动磁场是有永磁体时的5倍以上,结合铁镓材料近似线性区小的特点,提出了一种无偏场非线性驱动方式。首先利用帕德逼近方法近似铁镓材料的磁化过程,得到磁场强度与磁致伸缩应变的关系,进而得到驱动电信号表达式,在此基础上提出了铁镓换能器的非线性驱动模型。设计研制了无偏场铁镓Janus-Helmholtz换能器样机,通过振动特性实验分析验证非线性驱动模型的可行性,最后在水中测试了换能器的发射性能。测试结果表明,采用无偏场非线性驱动的换能器在驱动电流为9.4 A时,声源级可达到198.2 dB,相对于永磁偏置磁场的换能器,声源级高了4 dB,发射性能得到了明显的提升。  相似文献

将永磁轨道上表面磁感应强度作为主要参数进行检测和考察,以衡量其悬浮性能的优劣程度。首先通过对比Ansoft仿真值与实际测量值,确定了最佳测量位置为永磁体上表面2mm处,然后分别对多种排布方式的永磁轨道表面磁感应强度B进行了仿真并观测,得出结论表明:从制作的经济性以及实用性考虑,三极对顶式永磁轨道能提供目前最优的悬浮性能。该结论对高温超导磁悬浮系统永磁轨道的制作和设计有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

This paper presents a MEMS structure of electrodynamic loudspeakers dedicated to mobile phone applications. The major goals are to obtain a high electroacoustic conversion efficiency and a high fidelity acoustic quality. The originalities lie in a rigid silicon membrane and in its suspension by a set of silicon beams. The moving coil is a planar copper microcoil electroplated on the silicon membrane whose microstructure was optimized for providing both rigidity and lightness of the mobile part.This paper presents different magnetic structures of the motor for this MEMS loudspeaker. These structures are ironless, only made out of permanent magnets which are bonded on the substrate. They are studied and optimized thanks to analytical formulations of the magnetic field created by the permanent magnets. Results are presented for a deep RIE etched 7.5 mm radius silicon membrane structured with 40 stiffening ribs and on a 30 μm thick microcoil with 35 turns.  相似文献

If a permanent magnet has both a homogeneous polarization inside the material and a linear demagnetization characteristic in external fields, its magnetic field can be expressed using a surface pole model. For magnets satisfying these conditions and, in addition, having a rectangular shape, the fields at any given point in space can be calculated analytically. An algorithm for this calculation is presented in a form that can easily be implemented into a computer program. In our experiments we used Nd2Fe14B magnets to support low pressure glow discharges by magnetic fields. The magnets can be seen as composed of elementary magnets with rectangular shape, for which the magnetic field distribution is calculable. We present results of field calculations for various configurations of permanent magnets that we used in hollow cathode and Penning discharges.  相似文献

The effect of γ-ray irradiation on the magnetic properties of NdFeB and Fe–Cr–Co permanent magnets has been investigated. The magnetic flux loss of two kinds of magnets before and after irradiation was measured. Results show that the effect of γ-ray irradiation on the magnetic properties of sintered NdFeB is not so obvious as that on Fe–Cr–Co magnet. Irradiation-induced damage from γ-ray for the Fe–Cr–Co magnets was characterized for the first time. The decline of permanent magnetic properties of Fe–Cr–Co magnet induced by γ-ray irradiation is reversible except for the maximum energy product (BH)max. The difference of coercivity mechanism between these two kinds of permanent magnets is responsible for the different dependence of magnetic properties loss induced by γ-ray irradiation.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the magnetization of polycrystalline samples of (NdSmDy)(FeCo)B sintered permanent magnets are measured in various magnetic fields by a SQUID magnetometer. Near T = 110 K, the spin-reorientation transition occurs. Bistable magnetic states with two equally possible orientations of the magnetization vector corresponding to different polarities of the permanent magnet are formed in the samples near the spin-reorientation transition. The polarity of the sintered magnets can be stabilized by a small external magnetic field of ~250 Oe. It provides new possibilities for the application of these magnets in cryomagnetic systems such as magnetic undulators.  相似文献

Advanced magnetic technologies make it possible to create REE-based permanent magnets with a magnetic field sufficient for levitation. In this work, the feasibility of levitation in the field of arbitrarily (discretely or continuously) distributed magnetic poles is analyzed. A magnetic pole simulates a long and thin permanent magnet. The results obtained enable designing a levitator for an arbitrary distribution of magnets. A number of magnetic pole configurations is considered. The range of the levitator’s parameters providing stable equilibrium of the rotor in the magnetic field is found.  相似文献

Permanent magnets of various shapes are often utilized in magnetic actuators, sensors or releasable magnetic fasteners. Knowledge of the magnetic force is required to control devices reliably. Here, we introduce an analytical expression for calculating the attraction force between two cylindrical permanent magnets on the assumption of uniform magnetization. Although the assumption is not fulfilled exactly in cylindrical magnets, we obtain a very good agreement between the calculated and measured forces between two identical cylindrical magnets and within an array of NdFeB cylindrical magnets.  相似文献

采用CST电磁工作室和粒子工作室软件对负离子试验源的会切磁场、过滤磁场、电子偏转磁场的位形及引出束流的光学进行了模拟计算。通过扫描会切磁体、过滤磁体、电子偏转磁体的表面磁场参数,确定了最佳的磁体结构和运行参数:周边6圈会切磁体,会切磁体表面磁场4kG,过滤磁体表面磁场5.5kG,电子偏转磁体表面磁场2.5kG,引出电压5~20kV,加速电压50~160kV,引出负离子束的光学性能满足NBI注入要求。  相似文献

采用理论计算和有限元实体模型的方法,对HL-2M装置低温冷凝泵及与其相连接的真空穿透结构进行了温度分布和液氦管热负荷分析。结果显示,低温冷凝泵中液氦管的热稳态热负荷为5.45W,粒子沉积的热负荷为75.68W,真空穿透部分的热负荷为5.04W。所得结果为后续的热应力分析、低温泵流速控制和低温系统的设计提供了参考。  相似文献

Coercivity mechanism in permanent magnets has been debated for many years.In this paper, various models of the coercivity mechanism are classified and re-examined by the comparison and contrast.Coherent rotation and curling models can reveal the underlying reversal mechanism clearly based on isolated grains with elliptic shapes.By contrast, the numerical methods consider inter-grain interactions while simulating the evolution of the spins and hysteresis loops with complicated shapes.However, an exact simulation of magnetic reversal in permanent nanomagnets requires many meshes to mimic the thin domain wall well.Nucleation and pinning are the two main coercivity mechanisms in permanent magnets.The former signifies the beginning of the magnetic reversal, whilst the latter completes it.Recently, it is proposed that the large difference between the intrinsic magnetic properties of the nucleation centers and those of the main phase can result in a large pinning field(self-pinning), which has the attributes of both traditional nucleation and pinning.Such a pinning explains the experimental data of permanent magnets very well, including the enhancement of the coercivity by the grain boundary pinning.  相似文献
