The energy spectra of electrons released in thermal energy (≈ 50 meV) ionizing collisions of He*(21 S, 23 S) with H2 have been measured with high resolution and low background. Based on a detailed data analysis, we report accurate H 2 + (v′) vibrational populationsP(v′) for both He*(21 S)+H2(v′=0–10) and He*(23 S)+H2(v′=0–15) and the spectral shapeS(ε) for the individual vibrational peaks. The vibrational populationsP(v′) are quite similar to the Franck-Condon factorsf v ′0 for unperturbed H2(v″=0)→H 2 + (v′) transitions, but, more in detail, the ratiosP(v′)/f v ′0 show a characteristically differentv′-dependence for He*(23 S), He*(21 S), and HeIα(58.4 nm) ionization. The vibrational level separations in the He*(21 S, 23 S)+H2 spectra agree with those in the HeI photoelectron spectrum to within 1–2 meV. The spectral shapesS(ε) are characteristically different for He*(21 S)+H2 and He*(23 S)+H2, reflecting the respective differences in the entrance channel potentials, as determined previously in ab initio calculations and from scattering experiments.  相似文献

Infrared and Raman spectra in the solid state for potassium n-hexanoate, CH3(CH2)4CO2K, and its six kinds of specifically deuterated derivatives have been measured in the CH stretching region. Complete vibrational assignments of the CH stretching vibrations have been made. Characteristic vibrational bands for the specifically deuterated position of the carbon atom have been discussed.  相似文献

Chemiluminescence spectra attributable to the H+/H+2+F→ HF B1Σ ion-ion reactions were obtained in the wavelength region 185–270 nm. The rovibrationally resolved bands were assigned as HF B 1Σ (v', J') to HF X 1Σ (v″,J″) transitions with 0⩽v'⩽4 and 12 ⩽ v″ ⩽ 16. The corresponding rotational branches all have peaks at high J values. These non-thermal distributions suggest that the corresponding product state v',J' populations reflect the nascent distribution from the ion-ion reactions.  相似文献

High-resolution infrared studies of isotopic ethylenes below 2000 cm?1 have been commenced with a Nicolet FTIR spectrometer. Accurate vibration and rotation parameters for the v12 fundamentals of C2H4 and C2D4 are determined from spectra recorded with 0.05 cm?1 resolution. Excellent band contour simulations confirm that these bands are unperturbed throughout their range.  相似文献

Infrared and Raman spectra of gaseous cyclopropanecarboxylic acid (C3H5COOH and C3H5COOD) were measured from 250 to 4000 cm?1. The bands were assigned respectively to the monomer and to an associate. The depolarization ratio measurement, the vib—rot envelope study and the detailed analysis of the v(CO) and v(CH) regions enabled the symmetry and the conformation of the molecular entities in equilibrium to be determined. The monomer belongs to the Cs symmetry group and the conformation of its predominant fraction is trans/trans. The associate is a centrosymmetrical dimer (Ci symmetry) having (trans/cis)2 conformation. Some features of the geometry of the pseudocycle are discussed.  相似文献

The infrared spectra of the isotopically isolated NH3D+ and HDO species have been examined in seven ammonium Tutton salts. The observed spectra are in good agreement with predictions based on the known crystallographic features of these salts. Linear regression of the ND stretching frequencies v1(NH3D+) of the isotopically isolated NH3D+ ion on hydrogen-bonded distance d(N ? O) indicated the existence of a correlation ; subsequent fitting of the data to a more plausible empirical function v1(NH3D+) = v1,∞,-k1 exp(-k2,d) resulted in a coefficient of determination of 0.94 and a standard deviation of 10 cm?1 for the goodness of fit. The structural differences caused by the distortion of the metal coordination octahedron in the copper(II) Tutton salts are discussed. For this purpose the spectra of isotopically dilute HDO in the salts M2i[Cu(H2O)6](SO4)2 (Mi = K, Rb, Cs) have also been measured. No evidence of phase transformations between room and liquid-nitrogen temperatures was detected in the spectra of any of the saltri studied in this work.  相似文献

Infrared chemiluminescence from HCl has been observed in “arrested relaxation” experiments to yield vibrational and rotational distributions from the reactions H+Cl2, SCl2 and PCl3, where H denotes hydrogen atoms with translational energy of 0.45 eV. The following relative populations were determined: Nv-1: Nv-2: Nv-3: Nv-4: Nv-5: Nv-6 = 0.89:1.00:0.84:0.47:0.26:0.11 for H+Cl2: Nv-1: Nv-2: Nv-3: Nv-4: Nv-5: Nv-6 = 0.80:1.00:0.72:0.48:0.24:0.10 for H+SCl2: Nv-1: Nv-2: Nv-3: Nv-4: Nv-5 = 0.79:1.00:0.88:0.36:0.14 for H+PCl3. In all three reaction systems the chemiluminescence was attributed to the primary chlorine abstraction. Comparison with the results of the thermal processes (0.04 eV hydrogen atoms) led to the following conclusions: for H+Cl2 the excess of translational energy is transformed into translational product energy and rotational energy of the molecule HCl; for H+SCl2 the excess of translational energy is transformed mainly into translational energy of the products and perhaps internal energy of SCl; for H+PCl3 the excess of translational energy allows the observation of the primary abstraction reaction, which could in earlier experiments at 300 K not be separated from secondary chemiluminescent processes. Bimodal rotational distributions were confirmed for several vibrational states of HCl formed in the systems H+Cl2, and H+SCl2. Bimodal rotational distributions were also detected in the chemiluminescent reaction H(0.04 eV)+CH3SCl → HCl(v ? 5)+CH3S.  相似文献

The infrared absorption spectra of the series MF2·4H2O (M = Fe, Co, Ni or Zn) and of the respective deuterates were recorded at 296 and ∼ 100 K in the 1200-400 cm−1 wavenumber region. Using the known ZnF2·4H2O structure as a model, the number of i.r. active librations and MF2 vibrations was predicted with the aid of a group theoretical treatment. The librations were distinguished from the MF2 and MO vibrations and assigned, using isotopic ratios and correlations between the unit cell volumes, the uncoupled OH and OD stretch vibrations of HDO and the twisting libration. The six librations are assigned to two types of water molecules with low symmetry and with different hydrogen bond strengths, and are compatible with an orthorhombic Pca21 structure. The v1 and v3 intramolecular MF2 vibrations are assigned, using ZnF2·4H2O crystal data and matrix-isolated v1 and v3 (v1.3) values as guide. Shifts of v1.3 and v1/v3 relative to the matrix-isolated values suggest smaller MF bond lengths. The shifts in the values of v1.3 and v1/v3 upon deuteration and lowering of the temperature indicate smaller MF bond lengths and FMF angles.  相似文献

In this work we use a complete surface hopping quasiclassical trajectory method to determine cross sections for the reactions H2+ + H2 → H3+ + H and the isotopic variants (H2+ + D2 and D2+ + H2). Initial translational energies ranged between 0.5 and 6 eV. The vibrational quantum number (v+) of the charged diatom is either 0 or 3. Comparing these results with our previous results with a partial treatment of surface hopping, we find essentially no change for v+ = 0 and reductions in cross sections of up to 30% for v+ = 3 trajectories.  相似文献

Reference value standards, pH (RVS), for 0.05 mol kg?1 potassium hydrogenphthalate (KHPh) reference buffer solutions in 5, 15 and 30% (w/w) acetonitrile/water mixed solvents at temperatures from 288.15 to 308.15 K are determined from reversible e.m.f. measurements of the cell Pt¦H2¦KHPh + KCl¦AgCl|Ag|Pt. Values of the first ionisation constant of o-phthalic acid (H2Ph; benzene-1,2-dicarboxylic acid) in these mixed solvents are also determined from analogous measurements. The consistency of the results is analysed by multilinear regression of the quantity p(aHγCl) as a function of both solution composition and temperature. The standard pH (RVS) values determined are given by the equation pH (RVS) = 4.0080 + 6.330x + 16.177x2 ? 115.3x3 + 0.3089u ? 201.0ux2 + 909ux3 + 13.04v, where x is the mole fraction of acetonitrile in the mixed solvent, u = z/(1 + z), v = [ln(1 + z) ? u], z = (T ? θ)/θ, and θ = 298.15 K.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of lanthanide(III) citrates with stoichiometries 1:1 and 2:3; [LnL·xH2O] and [Ln2(LH)3·2H2O], Ln=La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm and Eu are reported. L stands for (C6O7H5)3? and LH for (C6O7H6)2?. Infrared absorption spectra of both series evidence coordination of carboxylate groups through symmetric bridges or chelation. X-ray powder patterns show the amorphous character of [LnL·xH2O]. The compounds [Ln2LH3·2H2O] are crystalline and isomorphous. Emission spectra of Eu compounds suggest C 2v symmetry for the coordination polyhedron of [LnL·xH2O] and C 4v for [Ln2(LH)3·2H2O]. Thermal analyses (TG-DTG-DTA) were carried out for both series. The thermal analysis patterns of the two series are quite different and both fit in a 4-step model of thermal decomposition, with lanthanide oxides as final products.  相似文献

2H NMR measurements were carried out for a series of poly(alkyl l-glutamate)s (PALG) in which the 1H of the amide group in the main chain is replaced by 2H in order to investigate the mobility and motional mode of the main chain. At low temperature, the 2H spectra were typical powder patterns, which have three principal values. The temperature dependencies for the 2H NMR spectra varied with the side chain length. For PALG with a short side chain length, Δv1, Δv2, and Δv3 are almost constant in all temperature ranges. As the side chain length increases, the difference between the peaks and shoulders decreased with temperature. For PG-12-N-D, the peaks and shoulders are fused at high temperature in a liquid crystalline state. The mobility and molecular motion of the main chain is discussed based on the obtained 2H NMR spectra.  相似文献

The reactions D + H2 (v = 0, 1) → HD (v = 0, 1) + H have been studiedin a discharge flow reactor by CARS-spectroscopy. For H2(v = 0) molecules a rate constant of (4, 0 ± 1, 0) 10?16 cm3 s?1 is obtained at 310 K from measured HD (v = 0, 1) product yields. Keeping the degree of vibrational excitation of H2in the microwave discharge in the range of 1% from the increase of the HD (v = 0, 1) CARS signals a rate of k2a, b = (1, 0 ± 0, 4) 10?13cm3 s?1 is derived. The total consumption of H2 (v = 1) in the presence of D atoms gives a rate k2 = (1, 9 ± 0, 2) 10?13 cm3 s?1 at 310 K. The resultsare discussed in regard to previous measurements and theoretical treatments.  相似文献

IR spectra are plotted from anilides of 1-piperidine carboxylic acids C5H10N(CH2)n CONHC6H4R in CHCl3 and CDCl3 solutions. In the cases of n = 1 and n = 4, weak intramolecular (NH?N) hydrogen bonds are formed. An asymmetrical energy surface occurs and the proton is present at the N of the anilide group. In the cases of n = 2 and n = 3, intramolecular proton transfer hydrogen bonds of the types NBH?NP ? ?NB?H+Np are formed. In contrast to the intramolecular OH? N ? O?1 ? H+N bonds with 1-piperidine carboxylic acids, these bonds to not cause IR continua but two bands: one in the region 3250–3190 and one in the region 2500–2450 cm?1. The fact that, instead of IR continua, bands are observed is explained by the following: (1) these hydrogen bonds are relatively long; (2) they show only a narrow distribution of bond length; (3) the electrical fields at these bonds are small, since they are strongly screened.  相似文献

The pseudotetrahedral cobalt(II) zwitterionic complexes, [CoCl3(H2Meppz)] (1) [H2Meppz+=1-methylpiperazin-1-ium cation] and [CoCl3(HMe2ppz)] (2), [HMe2ppz+=1,4-dimethylpiperazin-1-ium cation] have been synthesized and characterized in the solid state by X-ray single crystal analysis, IR spectra, magnetic measurements and electronic spectra. In both the compounds the cobalt(II) center is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral fashion by the three chloride ions and by one nitrogen of the piperazine ring that retains the more stable chair conformation. The distorted coordination polyhedron in complex 1 preserves the C3v symmetry while in complex 2 it retains only the m symmetry. In complex 1, the (H2Meppz)+ cation binds the Co(II) ion in the equatorial position of the piperazine ring using the unmethylated N1–H nitrogen atom that is less hindered than the methylated one. Complex 2, on the contrary, is a novelty being the first example of a Co(II) ion bound in the axial position of a piperazine ring, this produces a long Co(II)–N bond, 2.108(4) Å. Electronic spectra in the solid state are in perfect accordance with the X-ray crystallographic results indicating a C3v symmetry for complex 1 and a Cs(m) symmetry for complex 2. These complexes present strong two-center and three-center hydrogen bonds of N+–H⋯Cl type.  相似文献

The configuration of Ni(IV), Fe(IV), Mn(IV) and V(IV) complexes of the type MI2[MIVL2] where MI=Li, Na, K, Rb and Cs and the ligand L is the anion C3H6N3O3−3 of hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine-1,3,5-triol has been obtained by studying the infrared spectra of the complexes in the region 4000-50 cm−1. Vibrational assignments for the observed bands of the complex ions have been made assuming the molecular symmetry D3d. The assignments have been based on the observed isotopic frequency shifts due to the substitutions H/D, 14N/15N, 12C/13C, 58Ni/62Ni and 54Fe/57Fe and on the assignment of the bands in the infrared spectrum of hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine-1,3,5-triol, C3H6N3 (OH)3.  相似文献

Raman spectra of cyclopropylmethyl dichlorosilane (c-C3H5)SiCl2CH3 as a liquid were recorded at 293 K and polarization data were obtained. Additional Raman spectra were recorded at various temperatures between 293 and 163 K, and intensity changes of certain bands with temperature were detected. No crystallization was ever obtained in the Raman cryostat in spite of extensive annealing. The infrared spectra have been studied as a vapour, as an amorphous solid at 78 K and as a liquid in the range 600-100 cm−1. No infrared bands present in the vapour or liquid seemed to vanish upon cooling, and the sample never formed crystals on the CsI window of an infrared cryostat.The compound exists a priori in two conformers, syn and gauche, and the experimental results suggest an equilibrium in which the gauche conformer has 1.64 kJ mol−1 lower enthalpy than syn in the liquid, leading to 20% syn at ambient temperature. Most of the syn bands were situated close to the corresponding gauche bands and it was difficult to obtain reliable ΔH values.B3LYP calculations with various basis sets and the CBS-QB3 and G2 and G3 models were employed, yielding the conformational enthalpy difference ΔH (syn-gauche) between 2.6 and 3.4 kJ mol−1. Infrared and Raman intensities, polarization ratios and vibrational frequencies for the syn and gauche conformers were calculated. Instead of scaling the calculated wavenumbers in the harmonic approximation, calculations from B3LYP/cc-pVTZ were derived in the anharmonic approximation. In most cases these values were in good agreement with the experimental results for 38 observed modes of the gauche and 8 modes of the syn conformer with a deviation of ca. 1%.  相似文献

We have carried out absorption and photoluminescence spectra of six newly prepared TmF3 (2 M%) doped fluorophosphate glasses of composition: (NaPO3)6BaF2ZnF2RF where R = Li, Na, K, (LiNa), (NaK) and (KLi). By evaluating the Judd—Ofelt intensity parameters for the measured absorption levels, the recorded photoluminescence spectra have been analysed to estimate the fluorescent radiative properties (A, AT, βR) and the stimulated emission cross-sections (σEP) of the following luminescence transitions:1G43H6 (λ=451 nm)1D23H4 (λ=468 nm)3P03F2 (λ=482 nm)1D23H5 (λ=492 nm)These have been determined in order to understand the alkali effects on the Tm3+-optical glasses studied.  相似文献

The vibrational spectra (IR and Raman) of CH2ClPO3H2 and of its anions in solutions of H2O and D2O are reported. The IR spectra of the solid dibasic sodium and potassium salts, the solid normal and O-deuterated monobasic sodium and potassium salts and of the solid normal and O-deuterated acid are discussed. Symmetry and internal stretching force constants, stretch-stretch interactions and potential energy distributions are obtained from normal coordinate analysis of CH2C1PO3H2, CH2ClPO3H? and CH2C1PO32?, and the calculated and observed frequencies for O-deuterated acid and monobasic anion are compared.  相似文献

The HF infrared chemiluminescence from the reactions of F atoms with B2H6, CH4, CH3F, CH2F2, CH2Cl2, CH3ONO. CH3NO2, NH3 (and ND3). PH3 and HNCO has been observed from a 300 K flowing-afterglow reactor. Experiments were done for a range of CH4 and F atom concentrations to identify conditions which were free of vibrational relaxation and secondary reactions, and these conditions were used to assign initial HF(v) vibrational distributions for each reaction. The emission intensity from each reaction also was compared to that from CH4 in order to obtain the relative HF formation rate constants at 300 K. Since the absolute rate constant for F + CH4 is well established, the combination of all of these data provides absolute rate constants for HF(v) formation at 300 K. The ND3 reaction was studied to obtain information on more vibrational levels in order to better estimate the HF(v = 0) and DF(v = 0) components of the ammonia distributions. With NH3 and ND3 there is no significant isotope effect on the energy disposal. Except for NHCO, for which an addition-elimination channel is possible, the HF(v) distributions are inverted and <fv > = 0.60. Differences between the HF(v) distributions reported here and some other reports in the literature are noted: the present data are discussed as representative of direct H atom abstraction for 300 K Boltzmann conditions. The HCl infrared chemiluminescence from the F + CHCl2 secondary reaction also was observed; the HCl(v) distribution was v1: v2: v3: v4: v5 - 0.47: 0.23: 0.18: 0.08: 0.04.  相似文献
