In the characteristic triangle for a hyperbolic equation of the second kind we study a nonlocal problem, where the boundary value condition contains a linear combination of Riemann–Liouville fractional integro-differentiation operators. We establish variation intervals of orders of fractional integro-differentiation operators, taking into account parameters of the considered equation with which the mentioned problem has either a unique solution or more than one solution.  相似文献

The second-order sensitivity analysis for a domain optimization problem is studied for a linear elastic structure. In the primary elastic structure considered, the surface traction, a part of the boundary conditions, depends not only on the position but also on the shape of the structure. The first variation and the second variation of the objective functional are calculated in terms of the solution, the first variation of the solution for the primal elastic system, and of the adjoint variable introduced. Moreover, the first-order and the second-order necessary optimality conditions are derived for the structure under a hydrostatic pressure. As an illustrative problem, a mean compliance design is treated.  相似文献

The problem of the unilateral contact without friction for a punch, the face of which is characterized by a rapid change in the neighbourhood of the a priori unknown boundary of the contact area, is investigated. Asymptotic formulae are obtained for the function which describes the variation of the contact area and the contact-pressure density in the boundary-layer region. The problem of the behaviour of the contact pressures in the neighbourhood of a smoothed stress concentrator is considered.  相似文献

An elastic bounded anisotropic solid with an elastic inclusion is considered. An oscillating source acts on part of the boundary of the solid and excites oscillations in it. Zero displacements are specified on the other part of the solid and zero forces on the remaining part. A variation in the shape of the surface of the solid and of the inclusion of continuous curvature is introduced and the problem of the theory of elasticity with respect to this variation is linearized. An algorithm for constructing integral representations for such linearized problems is described. The limiting properties of the linearized operators are investigated and special boundary integral equations of the anisotropic theory of elasticity are formulated, which relate the variations of the boundary strain and stress fields with the variations in the shape of the boundary surface. Examples are given of applications of these equations in geometrical inverse problems in which it is required to establish the unknown part of the body boundary or the shape of an elastic inclusion on the basis of information on the wave field on the part of the body surface accessible for observation.  相似文献

The simulation of acoustic waves in fractured media is considered. A self-consistent field model is proposed that describes the formation of a scattered field and the attenuation of the incident field. For the total field, a wave equation with a complex velocity is derived and the corresponding dispersion equation is studied. A frequency-dependent field damping law and an energy variation law are established. An initial and a boundary value problem for waves in a fractured medium is addressed. A finite-difference scheme for the initial value problem is constructed, and a condition for its stability is established. Numerical results are presented.  相似文献

The Dirichlet problem for Laplace’s equation in a two-dimensional domain filled with a piecewise homogeneous medium is considered. The boundary of the inhomogeneity is assumed to be unknown. The inverse problem of determining the inhomogeneity boundary from additional information on the solution of the Dirichlet problem is considered. A numerical method based on the linearization of the nonlinear operator equation for the unknown boundary is proposed for solving the inverse problem. The dynamic Maxwell equations with a strictly dissipative boundary condition is considered. Sharp trace regularity for the electric and the magnetic field are established for both: weak and differentiable solutions. As an application a shape optimization problem for Maxwell's equations is considered. In order to characterize the shape derivative as a solution to a boundary value problem, the aforementioned sharp regularity of the boundary traces is critical.  相似文献

In the first section of this paper, some non-local boundary value problem for the polyharmonic equation in the plane is considered. This problem consists in determining solution of the polyharmonic equation satisfying some special non-local-type boundary condition on two curves. The existence theorem is proved. In the second section, an example for the case of the biharmonic equation is considered. In the third section, some non-local, non-linear problem of Riquier type is examined. The Riquier-type problem consists in determining the polyharmonic function in the plane whose value together with its successive Laplacians are prescribed on the boundary. To obtain sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of linear periodic systems with fixed delay commensurable with the period of coefficients, singular numbers of the monodromy operator are used. To find these numbers, a self-adjoint boundary value problem for ordinary differential equations is applied. We study the motion of eigenvalues of this boundary value problem under a variation of a parameter. Obtaining sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability is reduced to finding the bifurcation value of the parameter for the boundary value problem.  相似文献

We introduce a concept of weak solution for a boundary value problem modelling the motion of a rigid body immersed in a viscous fluid. The time variation of the fluid's domain (due to the motion of the rigid body) is not known a priori, so we deal with a free boundary value problem. Our main theorem asserts the existence of at least one weak solution for this problem. The result is global in time provided that the rigid body does not touch the boundary.  相似文献
