From amido to imido: A dinuclear amido-bridged iridium complex promotes the dehydrogenation of alcohols, affording unusual mixed amido/imido Ir(4) and bis(imido) Ir(3) clusters. Theoretical calculations suggest that bridging μ-NH(2) linkages are crucial to achieve the formation of hydrido amine diiridium species, as a result of a concerted net hydrogen transfer through a proposed eight-membered dimetallacycle.  相似文献

Reaction of TpR,MeCo(I) dinitrogen complexes (R = iPr, tBu) with trimethylsilyl azide yields structurally characterized compounds that imply the formation of reactive intermediates of the type TpR,MeCo=NSiMe3. These cobalt imido species apparently abstract hydrogen from the 3-substituent of the Tp-ligand, leading to the formation of amido complexes accompanied by either Co-C bond formation (R = tBu) or C-C bond formation (R = iPr).  相似文献

In the literature, iron-oxo complexes have been isolated and their hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) reactions have been studied in detail. Iron-imido complexes have been isolated more recently, and the community needs experimental evaluations of the mechanism of HAT from late-metal imido species. We report a mechanistic study of HAT by an isolable iron(III) imido complex, L(Me)FeNAd (L(Me) = bulky β-diketiminate ligand, 2,4-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenylimido)pentyl; Ad = 1-adamantyl). HAT is preceded by binding of tert-butylpyridine ((t)Bupy) to form a reactive four-coordinate intermediate L(Me)Fe(NAd)((t)Bupy), as shown by equilibrium and kinetic studies. In the HAT step, very large substrate H/D kinetic isotope effects around 100 are consistent with C-H bond cleavage. The elementary HAT rate constant is increased by electron-donating groups on the pyridine additive, and by a more polar medium. When combined with the faster rate of HAT from indene versus cyclohexadiene, this trend is consistent with H(+) transfer character in the HAT transition state. The increase in HAT rate in the presence of (t)Bupy may be explained by a combination of electronic (weaker Fe=N π-bonding) and thermodynamic (more exothermic HAT) effects. Most importantly, HAT by these imido complexes has a strong dependence on the size of the hydrocarbon substrate. This selectivity comes from steric hindrance by the spectator ligands, a strategy that has promise for controlling the regioselectivity of these C-H bond activation reactions.  相似文献

A broad mechanistic investigation regarding hydroamination reactions catalyzed by a tethered bis(ureate) zirconium species, [ureate(2-)]Zr(NMe(2))(2)(HNMe(2)), is described. The cyclization of both primary and secondary aminoalkene substrates gives similar kinetic profiles, with zero-order dependence on substrate concentration up to ~60-75% conversion, followed by first-order dependence for the remainder of the reaction. The addition of 2-methylpiperidine changes the observed substrate dependence to first order throughout the reaction, but does not act as a competitive inhibitor. The reactions are first order in precatalyst up to loadings of ~0.15 M, indicating that a well-defined, mononuclear catalytic species is operative. Several model complexes have been structurally characterized, including dimeric imido and amido species, and evaluated for catalytic performance. These results indicate that imido species need not be invoked as catalytically relevant intermediates, and that the mono(amido) complex [ureate(2-)]Zr(NMe(2))(Cl)(HNMe(2)) is much less active than its bis(amido) counterpart. Structural evidence suggests that this is due to differences in coordination geometry between the mono- and bis(amido) complexes, and that an equatorial amido ligand is required for efficient catalytic turnover. On the basis of the determination of kinetic isotope effects and stoichiometric reactivity, the catalytic turnover-limiting step is proposed to be a concerted C-H, C-N bond-forming process with a highly ordered, unimolecular transition state (ΔS(?) = -21 ± 1 eu). In addition to this key bond-forming step, the catalytic cycle involves an on-cycle pre-equilibrium between six- and seven-coordinate intermediates, leading to the observed switch from zero- to first-order kinetics.  相似文献

A new β-diketiminate ligand with 2,4,6-tri(phenyl)phenyl N-substituents provides protective bulk around the metal without exposing any weak C-H bonds. This ligand improves the stability of reactive iron(III) imido complexes with Fe═NAd and Fe═NMes functional groups (Ad = 1-adamantyl; Mes = mesityl). The new ligand gives iron(III) imido complexes that are significantly more reactive toward 1,4-cyclohexadiene than the previously reported 2,6-diisopropylphenyl diketiminate variants. Analysis of X-ray crystal structures implicates Fe═N-C bending, a longer Fe═N bond, and greater access to the metal as potential reasons for the increase in C-H bond activation rates.  相似文献

Dipyrromethene ligand scaffolds were synthesized bearing large aryl (2,4,6-Ph(3)C(6)H(2), abbreviated Ar) or alkyl ((t)Bu, adamantyl) flanking groups to afford three new disubstituted ligands ((R)L, 1,9-R(2)-5-mesityldipyrromethene, R=aryl, alkyl). While high-spin (S=2), four-coordinate iron complexes of the type ((R)L)FeCl(solv) were obtained with the alkyl-substituted ligand varieties (for R=(t)Bu, Ad and solv=THF, OEt(2)), use of the sterically encumbered aryl-substituted ligand precluded binding of solvent and cleanly afforded a high-spin (S=2), three-coordinate complex of the type ((Ar)L)FeCl. Reaction of ((Ad)L)FeCl(OEt(2)) with alkyl azides resulted in the catalytic amination of C-H bonds or olefin aziridination at room temperature. Using a 5% catalyst loading, 12 turnovers were obtained for the amination of toluene as a substrate, while greater than 85% of alkyl azide was converted to the corresponding aziridine employing styrene as a substrate. A primary kinetic isotope effect of 12.8(5) was obtained for the reaction of ((Ad)L)FeCl(OEt(2)) with adamantyl azide in an equimolar toluene/toluene-d(8) mixture, consistent with the amination proceeding through a hydrogen atom abstraction, radical rebound type mechanism. Reaction of p-(t)BuC(6)H(4)N(3) with ((Ar)L)FeCl permitted isolation of a high-spin (S=2) iron complex featuring a terminal imido ligand, ((Ar)L)FeCl(N(p-(t)BuC(6)H(4))), as determined by (1)H NMR, X-ray crystallography, and (57)Fe Mo?ssbauer spectroscopy. The measured Fe-N(imide) bond distance (1.768(2) ?) is the longest reported for Fe(imido) complexes in any geometry or spin state, and the disruption of the bond metrics within the imido aryl substituent suggests delocalization of a radical throughout the aryl ring. Zero-field (57)Fe Mo?ssbauer parameters obtained for ((Ar)L)FeCl(N(p-(t)BuC(6)H(4))) suggest a Fe(III) formulation and are nearly identical with those observed for a structurally similar, high-spin Fe(III) complex bearing the same dipyrromethene framework. Theoretical analyses of ((Ar)L)FeCl(N(p-(t)BuC(6)H(4))) suggest a formulation for this reactive species to be a high-spin Fe(III) center antiferromagnetically coupled to an imido-based radical (J = -673 cm(-1)). The terminal imido complex was effective for delivering the nitrene moiety to both C-H bond substrates (42% yield) as well as styrene (76% yield). Furthermore, a primary kinetic isotope effect of 24(3) was obtained for the reaction of ((Ar)L)FeCl(N(p-(t)BuC(6)H(4))) with an equimolar toluene/toluene-d(8) mixture, consistent with the values obtained in the catalytic reaction. This commonality suggests the isolated high-spin Fe(III) imido radical is a viable intermediate in the catalytic reaction pathway. Given the breadth of iron imido complexes spanning several oxidation states (Fe(II)-Fe(V)) and several spin states (S=0→(3)/(2)), we propose the unusual electronic structure of the described high-spin iron imido complexes contributes to the observed catalytic reactivity.  相似文献

DFT calculations have underscored the importance of the tripodal supporting ligand in tuning the spin-state energetics of pseudotetrahedral transition metal imido complexes. In particular, we have focused on Co(III)-imido complexes, where our best estimate (OLYP) of the singlet-triplet splitting varies from 0.75 eV for a trisphosphine complex (1) and 0.3 eV for a tris(N-heteroyclic-carbene) complex (2) to essentially 0.0 eV for a hydrotris(pyrazolyl)borate (3) complex. The experimentally studied analogues of 1, 2, and 3 all exhibit S = 0 ground states; however, the experimental analogue of 3 exhibits spin-crossover behavior due to a low-lying S = 1 state. Interestingly, whereas all the pure functionals examined successfully predict nearly equienergetic singlet end triplet states for 3, the hybrid functionals B3LYP and O3LYP exhibit a clear (and incorrect) preference for the S = 2 state. In addition, we have also carried out an exploratory survey of Cr(III), Mn(III), and Fe(III) imido complexes with trisphosphine and hydrotris(pyrazolyl)borate (Tp) supporting ligands. Among the more interesting predictions of this study is that an FeIII(Tp)(imido) species should exhibit a high-spin S = 5/2 ground state, which would be unique for an iron-imido complex.  相似文献

Mononuclear iron(III) complexes with terminal hydroxo ligands are proposed to be important species in several metalloproteins, but they have been difficult to isolate in synthetic systems. Using a series of amidate/ureido tripodal ligands, we have prepared and characterized monomeric Fe (III)OH complexes with similar trigonal-bipyramidal primary coordination spheres. Three anionic nitrogen donors define the trigonal plane, and the hydroxo oxygen atom is trans to an apical amine nitrogen atom. The complexes have varied secondary coordination spheres that are defined by intramolecular hydrogen bonds between the Fe (III)OH unit and the urea NH groups. Structural trends were observed between the number of hydrogen bonds and the Fe-O hydroxo bond distances: the more intramolecular hydrogen bonds there were, the longer the Fe-O bond became. Spectroscopic trends were also found, including an increase in the energy of the O-H vibrations with a decrease in the number of hydrogen bonds. However, the Fe (III/II) reduction potentials were constant throughout the series ( approximately 2.0 V vs [Cp 2Fe] (0/+1)), which is ascribed to a balancing of the primary and secondary coordination-sphere effects.  相似文献

Manganese(V) imido complexes of 5,10,15-tris(pentafluorophenyl)corrole (H(3)tpfc) can be prepared by the reaction of Mn(III)(tpfc) and organic nitrene generated from either photolytic or thermal activation of organic azides. The terminal imido complexes of manganese(V) were among the first structurally characterized examples of Mn(V) terminal imido complexes in the literature. They feature a short Mn≡N triple bond and a nearly linear M[triple bond, length as m-dash]N-C angle. The ground state of (tpfc)Mn(V)(NAr) is singlet. Contrary to expectations, arylimido complexes of manganese(V) were stable to moisture and did not undergo [NR] group transfer to olefins. Manganese(V) imido corrole with an activated tosyl imido ligand was prepared from iodoimine (ArINTs) and manganese(III) corrole. The resulting complex (tpfc)Mn(NTs) is paramagnetic (S = 1), hydrolyzes to (tpfc)Mn(O) in the presence of water, abstracts hydrogen atoms from benzylic C-H bonds, and catalyzes aziridination of alkenes. Mechanistic studies on the aziridination and hydrogen atom transfer reactions are reviewed. This perspective also describes the reaction chemistry of the heme enzyme chlorite dismutase, the mechanism by which dioxygen is formed on a single-metal site, and recent advances in functional modelling of this enzyme. We also compare the reactivity of water-soluble iron versus manganese porphyrins towards the chlorite anion.  相似文献

Hydrogenation and protonation of parent imido complexes have attracted much attention in relation to industrial and biological nitrogen fixation. The present study reports the structure and properties of the highly unsaturated diiridium parent imido complex [(Cp*Ir)(2)(μ(2)-H)(μ(2)-NH)](+) derived from deprotonation of a parent amido complex. Because of the Lewis acid-Br?nsted base bifunctional nature of the metal-NH bond, the parent imido complex promotes heterolysis of H(2) and deprotonative N-H cleavage of ammonia to afford the corresponding parent amido complexes under mild conditions.  相似文献

The synthesis, structure, and reactivity of a series of low-coordinate Fe(II) diketiminate amido complexes are presented. Complexes L(R)FeNHAr (R = methyl, tert-butyl; Ar = para-tolyl, 2,6-xylyl, and 2,6-diisopropylphenyl) bind Lewis bases to give trigonal pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal adducts. In the adducts, crystallographic and (1)H NMR evidence supports the existence of agostic interactions in solid and solution states. Complexes L(R)FeNHAr may be oxidized using AgOTf, and the products L(R)Fe(NHAr)(OTf) are characterized with (19)F NMR spectroscopy, UV/vis spectrophotometry, solution magnetic measurements, elemental analysis, and, in one case, X-ray crystallography. In the structures of the iron(III) complexes L(R)Fe(NHAr)(OTf) and L(R)Fe(OtBu)(OTf), the angles at nitrogen and oxygen result from steric effects and not pi-bonding. The reactions of the amido group of L(R)FeNHAr with weak acids (HCCPh and HOtBu) are consistent with a basic nitrogen atom, because the amido group is protonated by terminal alkynes and alcohols to give free H(2)NAr and three-coordinate acetylide and alkoxide complexes. The trends in complex stability give insight into the relative strength of bonds from three-coordinate iron to anionic C-, N-, and O-donor ligands.  相似文献

Non-heme iron and manganese species with terminal oxo ligands are proposed to be key intermediates in a variety of biological and synthetic systems; however, the stabilization of these types of complexes has proven difficult because of the tendency to form oxo-bridged complexes. Described herein are the design, isolation, and properties for a series of mononuclear Fe(III) and Mn(III) complexes with terminal oxo or hydroxo ligands. Isolation of the complexes was facilitated by the tripodal ligand tris[(N'-tert-butylureaylato)-N-ethyl]aminato ([H(3)1](3-)), which creates a protective hydrogen bond cavity around the M(III)-O(H) units (M(III) = Fe and Mn). The M(III)-O(H) complexes are prepared by the activation of dioxygen and deprotonation of water. In addition, the M(III)-O(H) complexes can be synthesized using oxygen atom transfer reagents such as N-oxides and hydroxylamines. The [Fe(III)H(3)1(O)](2-) complex also can be made using sulfoxides. These findings support the proposal of a high valent M(IV)-oxo species as an intermediate during dioxygen cleavage. Isotopic labeling studies show that oxo ligands in the [M(III)H(3)1(O)](2-) complexes come directly from the cleavage of dioxygen: for [Fe(III)H(3)1(O)](2-) the nu(Fe-(16)O) = 671 cm(-1), which shifts 26 cm(-1) in [Fe(III)H(3)1((18)O)](2-) (nu(Fe-(18)O) = 645 cm(-1)); a nu(Mn-(16)O) = 700 cm(-1) was observed for [Mn(III)H(3)1((16)O)](2-), which shifts to 672 cm(-1) in the Mn-(18)O isotopomer. X-ray diffraction studies show that the Fe-O distance is 1.813(3) A in [Fe(III)H(3)1(O)](2-), while a longer bond is found in [Fe(III)H(3)1(OH)](-) (Fe-O at 1.926(2) A); a similar trend was found for the Mn(III)-O(H) complexes, where a Mn-O distance of 1.771(5) A is observed for [Mn(III)H(3)1(O)](2-) and 1.873(2) A for [Mn(III)H(3)1(OH)](-). Strong intramolecular hydrogen bonds between the urea NH groups of [H(3)1](3-) and the oxo and oxygen of the hydroxo ligand are observed in all the complexes. These findings, along with density functional theory calculations, indicate that a single sigma-bond exists between the M(III) centers and the oxo ligands, and additional interactions to the oxo ligands arise from intramolecular H-bonds, which illustrates that noncovalent interactions may replace pi-bonds in stabilizing oxometal complexes.  相似文献

X-ray structures for six Fe(II) and Fe(III) complexes from two closely heptadentate N-tripodal ligands, L1H(3) = tris[(imidazol-4-yl)-3-aza-3-butenyl]amine and L2H(3) = tris[(imidazol-2-yl)-3-aza-3-butenyl]amine, are described: three complexes in the L1 series (namely, [Fe(II)(L1H(3))](2+) and [Fe(III)(L1H(3))](3+) at low pH and [Fe(III)(L1)](0) at high pH) and three complexes in the L2 series (namely, [Fe(II)(L2H(3))](2+) at low pH and [Fe(II)(L2H)](0) and [Fe(III)(L2)](0) at high pH). Most of these complexes are stable in both Fe(II) and Fe(III) redox states and with the ligand in various protonation states. In the solid state, hydrogen bonds networks were obtained. Structural differences induced by 2- or 4-imidazole substitution are described and discussed. In solution, interconversions between different forms, with regard to oxidation and protonation states, were investigated by UV-visible spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and potentiometry. The deprotonation pattern of these polyimidazole iron(II) and iron(III) complexes is described in detail. pK(a)s of the imidazolate/imidazole moieties in MeOH/H(2)O are reported. Two new species, namely, [Fe(II)(L1)](-) and [Fe(II)(L2)](-), were shown to be obtained in DMSO upon strong base addition and characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Half-wave potentials of Fe(III)/Fe(II) complexes with ligand moieties in several protonation states are reported, both in DMSO and in MeOH/H(2)O. Because of the presence of free imidazole groups coordinated to the iron, the potential of the iron(III)/iron(II) couples can be tuned by pH. A shift of DeltaE = E(deprot) - E(prot) ranging from -270 to -320 mV per exchanged proton in DMSO was measured. This study shows moreover that interconversions (with regard to both redox and protonation states) can be reversed several times. As the complexes have been isolated in order to be tested as superoxide dismutase mimics, preliminary reactions with dioxygen and with superoxide, considered as oxidant and reducer of biological importance, are reported. In these two series, O(2)(-) behaves either as a base or as a reducer and no adducts have been observed.  相似文献

Titanium tetrakis(amido) complexes catalyze the intramolecular hydroamination of alkynes and allenes more efficiently than Cp-based species. We report here that electron-withdrawing and sterically demanding bis(sulfonamido) ligands lead to enhanced catalytic activity. Zirconium analogues have also been prepared, and the tosyl-substituted complex 20 has been structurally characterized. As in the titanium series, bis(sulfonamido) zirconium catalysts are more efficient in the intramolecular hydroamination of allenes than bis(cyclopentadienyl) complex Cp(2)ZrMe(2) (23). Furthermore, these compounds transform 1,3-disubstituted aminoallenes with high stereoselectivity to the Z-allylamines and allow the hydroamination of a trisubstituted allene. Titanium bis(sulfonamido) imido complex 27 was synthesized. It converts aminoallene 10 to cylic imine 11 with a rate comparable to that of tetrakis(amide) 15, supporting the hypothesis of a catalytically active titanium imido intermediate.  相似文献

Novel mixed amido/imido/guanidinato complexes of niobium are reported. The complexes were synthesized by insertion of two equivalents of di-isopropylcarbodiimide (i-Pr-cdi) or bis-cyclohexylcarbodiimide (Cy-cdi) respectively, into the niobium-amido bonds of [Nb(NR(2))(3)(N-t-Bu)] (, R = Me; , R = Et) starting out from [NbCl(3)(N-t-Bu)(py)(2)] and the respective LiNR(2) reagent (py = pyridine). Four representative examples of these mixed ligand amido/imido/guanidinato compounds were synthesized and were characterized by (1)H-NMR, (13)C-NMR, (15)N-NMR, CHN-analysis, mass spectrometry and infra-red spectroscopy. The molecular structures of [Nb(NR(2)){eta(2)-(i-Pr-N)(2)C(NR(2))}(2)(N-t-Bu)] (, R = Me; , R = Et) in the solid state were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies and are discussed together with the molecular structure of the starting compound [Nb(NMe(2))(3)(N-t-Bu)] (). The thermal properties of the new compounds depend on the substitution at the guanidinato ligand. Complexes of i-Pr-cdi are significantly more volatile than complexes of Cy-cdi as revealed by thermogravimetric analysis. Preliminary experiments using as a single-molecule source for metal-organic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD) in the absence of ammonia indicate the formation of the stoichiometric, and surprisingly carbon-free, cubic niobium nitride phase.  相似文献

The 3d‐metal mediated nitrene transfer is under intense scrutiny due to its potential as an atom economic and ecologically benign way for the directed amination of (un)functionalised C?H bonds. Here we present the isolation and characterisation of a rare, trigonal imido cobalt(III) complex, which bears a rather long cobalt–imido bond. It can cleanly cleave strong C?H bonds with a bond dissociation energy of up to 92 kcal mol?1 in an intermolecular fashion, unprecedented for imido cobalt complexes. This resulted in the amido cobalt(II) complex [Co(hmds)2(NHtBu)]?. Kinetic studies on this reaction revealed an H atom transfer mechanism. Remarkably, the cobalt(II) amide itself is capable of mediating H atom abstraction or stepwise proton/electron transfer depending on the substrate. A cobalt‐mediated catalytic application for substrate dehydrogenation using an organo azide is presented.  相似文献

A series of new monoalkyl- and monoaryl-amido complexes, CpTiCl2NHR (R = Et, i-Pr, t-Bu, Ph), has been synthesized and characterized. They were made in essentially quantitative yields by a very convenient reaction of CpTiCl3 with Me3SiNHR. The new complexes yield NMR and IR spectroscopic data for monoalkylamido complexes, such data being previously scarce. The compounds have very reactive amido hydrogen atoms, as is demonstrated by their thermal decomposition and their reaction with (Lewis) bases such as amines or organoalkali compounds. The products are the new bridged imido complexes, (CpTiCI)2(μ-NR)2.  相似文献

Novel mixed amido-/imido-/guanidinato-complexes of tantalum are reported. The complexes were synthesised by insertion reactions of carbodiimides of the type C(NR)2(R =iso-propyl (i-Pr)) into the M-N bonds of tantalum mixed amido/imido complexes. Three representative complexes were synthesised and fully characterised by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, CHN-analysis and mass spectroscopy. The crystal structure of the complex [Ta(NMe2){(i-Pr-N)2C(NMe2)}2(N-t-Bu)](1)(Me = methyl, t-Bu =tert-butyl) is presented and discussed. The complexes are solids that can be quantitatively sublimed at moderate temperatures (120-130 degrees C) without any sign of decomposition. The thermal properties of the new compounds were studied (TGA) and preliminary MOCVD-experiments were performed. TaN films were deposited and characterised by XRD and XPS.  相似文献

A new biomimetic model for the heterodinuclear heme/copper center of respiratory oxidases is described. It is derived from iron(III) protoporphyrin IX by covalent attachment of a Gly-L-His-OMe residue to one propionic acid substituent and an amino-bis(benzimidazole) residue to the other propionic acid substituent of the porphyrin ring, yielding the Fe(III) complex 1, and subsequent addition of a copper(II) or copper(I) ion, according to needs. The fully oxidized Fe(III)/Cu(II) complex, 2, binds azide more strongly than 1, and likely contains azide bound as a bridging ligand between Fe(III) and Cu(II). The two metal centers also cooperate in the reaction with hydrogen peroxide, as the peroxide adducts obtained at low temperature for 1 and 2 display different optical features. Support to this interpretation comes from the investigation of the peroxidase activity of the complexes, where the activation of hydrogen peroxide has been studied through the phenol coupling reaction of p-cresol. Here the presence of Cu(II) improves the catalytic performance of complex 2 with respect to 1 at acidic pH, where the positive charge of the Cu(II) ion is useful to promote O-O bond cleavage of the iron-bound hydroperoxide, but it depresses the activity at basic pH because it can stabilize an intramolecular hydroxo bridge between Fe(III) and Cu(II). The reactivity to dioxygen of the reduced complexes has been studied at low temperature starting from the carbonyl adducts of the Fe(II) complex, 3, and Fe(II)/Cu(I) complex, 4. Also in this case the adducts derived from the Fe(II) and Fe(II)/Cu(I) complexes, that we formulate as Fe(III)-superoxo and Fe(III)/Cu(II)-peroxo exhibit slightly different spectral properties, showing that the copper center participates in a weak interaction with the dioxygen moiety.  相似文献

The structural and thermodynamic properties of the donor-acceptor (DA) complexes of Group 13 metal halides (MX3) with ethylenediamine and their decomposition products have been studied theoretically at the B3LYP/LANL2DZ(d,p) level of theory. Gas-phase dissociation into various components and HX elimination reactions are considered. Both processes are endothermic but favored by entropy. Complexes of 2:1 composition are predicted to be stable in the gas phase up to 640-1000 K. It is found that complexation with the second acceptor molecule lowers the HX elimination enthalpy; in turn, HX elimination increases DA bonding with a second MX3 molecule. Exceptionally high values of the dissociation enthalpies (310-390 kJ mol(-1)) and HX elimination reactions (360-420 kJ mol(-1)) of the amido compounds MX2NHC2H4NH2 and MX2NHC2H4NHMX2 make them important intermediates in the decomposition processes. Dissociation reactions of the complexes are more favorable than HX elimination reactions; however, the subsequent oligomerization and cyclization processes of coordinationally unsaturated amido and imido compounds may facilitate HX elimination. Since HI elimination reactions are predicted to be the least endothermic, and aluminum-containing compounds have the strongest M-N dissociation enthalpies, it is expected that compounds based on aluminum iodide are promising objects for experimental studies.  相似文献
