Excitation functions of the elastic and the inelastic proton scattering leading to the ground state and to the 2+ (0.596 MeV) state in 74Ge were measured at 90°, 125°, 140° and 165° at bombarding energies from 3.34 to 5.4 MeV. Ten isobaric analogue resonances in 75As were identified. Five of these resonances decay to the 2+ excited state in 74Ge. Angular distributions of the inelastically scattered protons were measured at bombarding energies corresponding to these resonances. The partial widths of the isobaric analogue states for decay to the ground state and to the 2+ excited state in 74Ge were determined as well as the l-values of the captured protons and the spins of the resonances. The Coulomb displacement energy for the pair 75As-75Ge was found to be 10.01 MeV. A comparison is made with the parent analogue states in 75Ge. The results indicate that several levels of 75Ge may be described as having a large component of a single particle state coupled to the first 2+ excited state in 74Ge, and that the 2+ state has a configuration with a large 2p-2h component.  相似文献

Distinct maxima have been observed in the spectra of protons emitted from the 24Mg(α, p)27Al reaction in the region of the excitation energies of 27Al between 5 and 15 MeV, where continuous spectra are expected according to the statistical model. To investigate the reaction mechanism responsible for the selective excitation of several states of 27Al, angular distributions of protons in the angular range from 20° to 170° in the lab system were measured at the α-particles energies Elab = 25.4 25.8 and 26.2 MeV. Thirteen out of thirty levels observed in proton spectra, exhibit symmetry of their angular distributions around 90° the c.m. system, when averaged over energy. The contribution of preequilibrium emission was calculated and found to be negligible. A Hauser-Feshbach analysis was carried out to determine spins of states of 27Al whose angular distributions were symmetric around 90° in the c.m. system. Results of this analysis indicated high spin selectivity in the 24Mg(α, p)27Al reaction.  相似文献

The (p, t) reaction on the nuclei 134, 136, 138Ba has been studied at a bombarding energy of 52 MeV. Angular distributions of emitted tritons were obtained between 6° and 60°. The following six negative-parity states were strongly excited by the (p, t) reaction: 5?(2.121 MeV) and 7?(2.482 MeV) in 132Ba, 5?(1.998 MeV) and 7?(2.274 MeV) in 134Ba, and 5?(2.139 MeV) and 7?(2.031 MeV) in 136Ba. DWBA calculations using the code DWUCK successfully reproduce these angular distributions. The 0+ assignment to the 1.761 MeV level in 134Ba is confirmed. Intensities of the (p, t) reaction for low-lying states are discussed.  相似文献

Inclusive energy spectra and angular distributions for heavy ions (Z ≧ 3) produced in the reactions of 227 MeV and 310 MeV 16O with Ti were measured. Also measured at the projectile energy of 310 MeV were energy and angular correlations between light charged particles (Z ≦ 2) and heavy ions. From comparisons with statistical model calculations upper limits to the complete fusion cross sections of 647 mb and 265 mb were derived for projectile energies of 227 MeV and 310 MeV, respectively. At 310 MeV the cross section of incomplete fusion processes was estimated to be over 505 mb. Emission of fast, high-energy α-particles and protons was observed to be a characteristic feature of quasi-elastic, deep-inelastic and fusion-like reactions. Average multiplicities of fast light particles in coincidence with heavy ions at +20° and +40° were estimated to be of the order of 1. The prompt emission of light appears to be the principal mechanism which limits complete fusion. A second component of α-particles observed in coincidence with deep-inelastic projectile-like fragments and having an energy comparable to Coulomb energies of particles emitted from target-like and projectile-like fragments appears as an excess yield in the direction of the recoiling target-like fragments. This component cannot be accounted for in terms of sequential emission processes and may result from a mechanism other than the one which leads to fast particle emission.  相似文献

Four excitation functions with proton energy range 1.3 to 1.85 MeV and γ-ray energy thresholds from 1.5 to 8.0 MeV were determined for the reaction 55Mn(p, γ)56Fe. Gamma-ray spectra were taken for two close-lying resonances at proton energies 1531 and 1537 keV. An analysis of the spectra suggests the spin-parity assignments for those two states to be 4+ and 2+, respectively, consistent with their being isobaric analogues to the close-lying third and fourth excited states in 56Mn.  相似文献

An effective temperature inferred from the slope of kinetic energy spectra of the emitted fragments is not reflected in the relative populations of excited states of the emitted nuclei. We found that the excited state populations of 6Li, 7Li and 7Be emitted near 90° in the lab from the reaction of 490 MeV 14N with Ag are significantly lower than those expected on the basis of their effective temperature.  相似文献

The giant dipole resonance built on excited states was observed in very fissile nuclei in coincidence with evaporation residues. The reaction 48Ca + 176Yb populated evaporation residues of mass A=213–220 with a cross section of 200 μb at 259 MeV. The extracted giant dipole resonance parameters are in agreement with theoretical predictions for this mass region.  相似文献

The structure of 81Kr has been investigated via the 80Kr(d?, p)81Kr reaction using an 11.0 MeV vector-polarized deuteron beam. Differential cross sections σ and vector analyzing powers Ay have been measured from 20° to 90° for 17 excited states below 3.0 MeV excitation energy. Comparisons of these distributions to DWBA calculations and empirical shapes were made to extract spectroscopic factors and values of spin and parity for these states. The significance of these measurements to the design of a bromine solar neutrino detector is discussed.  相似文献

High resolution gamma-ray spectra have been measured from the27Al (p,γ)28Si reaction for the resonances atE p=2·482, 2·511 and 2·735 MeV at ϑ pγ=0°, 30°, 55° and 90° using a Ge (Li) gamma spectrometer. From the spectra and the angular distributions the properties of the resonance states have been obtained. These states are the isobaric analogues of the levels at 4·69, 4·75 and 4·93MeV levels respectively in the parent nucleus A28l.  相似文献

Emission orders of light charged particles and Li fragments from highly excited fissioning nuclei in the reaction of 40Ar+197Au at E beam /A=25 MeV have been studied by measuring difference velocity distributions of two correlated particles at small relative angles in coincidence with two fission fragments. By comparing the data with three-body trajectory calculations, we found that high velocity deuterons are emitted prior to high velocity Li fragments but low velocity deuterons are emitted after low velocity Li fragments. On the other hand, no preferential emission was observed among light particles, such as protons and deuterons. Furthermore, the emission orders are found to depend only weakly on the mass asymmetry of fission fragments. Received: 3 June 1997 / Revised version: 23 July 1997  相似文献

The 50Cr(p, d)49Cr reaction was studied at a bombarding energy of 55 MeV. Angular distributions were obtained for levels up to Ex = 10.5 MeV. The l-assignment was performed for each level and the spectroscopic factor was deduced by consulting the DWBA calculation. The strength distribution was obtained for l = 0, 1, 2 and 3. Many strongly excited states in the higher excitation region were identified as isobaric analog states (IAS) of 49V. Fragmentation of the strength was clearly observed for these states. An accurate Coulomb displacement energy was obtained for each IAS by including the fragmented parts of the strength.  相似文献

An array of eight detectors has been developed for identifying the particle unstable 8Be nucleus from nuclear reactions with high detection efficiency. Absolute cross sections have been measured for the reaction 12C(12C, 8Beg.s.)16O to the ground state and to several excited states in 16O. Excitation functions at seven angles from 15° to 45° (lab) in 5° steps have been measured for bombarding energies between E12C(lab) = 35 and 69 MeV. Excitation functions were obtained for the following states in the residual nucleus 16O which were found to be strongly populated: g.s.(0+); 6.1 MeV (0+, 3?); 6.9 MeV (2+); 10.4 MeV (4+); 11.1 MeV (4+); 14.7 MeV (6+,…) and 16.3 MeV (6+,…). The energy range is covered in 250 keV (c.m.) steps; at certain energy ranges in 125 keV or 50keV steps. All excitation functions exhibit a strong energy dependence of the cross section; pronounced gross structures with superimposed fine structures, similar to those observed for 12C+12C elastic and inelastic scattering at these energies, are observed. At 19.3 MeV, where resonant structures were observed in the reactions 12C(12C, p)23Na, 12C(12C, n)23Mg and 12C(12C, d)22Na, no resonance is found for the reaction studied here. At 60, 61 and 63 MeV angular distributions have been measured in 1° and 2.5°(lab) angular steps. The excitation functions have been analyzed in terms of Ericson fluctuations and cross-correlation functions.  相似文献

Excitation functions were measured for states of 21Ne populated by the 12C(13C, α) reaction over the bombarding energy range Elab = 18.2–32.0 MeV (18.4–27.0 MeV) at θlab = 7°(25°) in in 200 keV steps, and average coherence widths of states and the moment of inertia of the compound nucleus 25Mg were obtained from these excitation functions. A statistical analysis of these data was performed. Angular distributions for states in 21Ne to 10 MeV in excitation energy were measured at θlab = 7°, 18°, 28° and 43° at bombarding energies from 29.0 to 31.0 MeV in 400 keV steps. These data along with Hauser-Feshbach predictions allow us to suggest spins for some states as well as to suggest possible candidates for rotational bands in 21Ne.  相似文献

The excitation function and angular distributions of elastic α-particle scattering on 28Si have been measured in the laboratory energy range 6-28 MeV using a backscattering technique on a thick target, yielding a continuous energy distribution. More than 200 narrow states are observed, with widths in the range ∼ 30-100 keV at excitation energies E * = 13-32 MeV. Angular distributions at backward angles were measured, and angular momentum values of more than 83 states have been deduced. The analysis gives spin-parities J π, α-partial widths Γα and reduced widths of the narrow high-lying resonant states in 32S. The experimentally observed states display both the negative- and the positive-parity rotational-like sequences with seemingly no parity splitting, a finding which is at variance with most potential-model predictions. The deduced effective moment of inertia indicates a more extended structure than the ground-state configuration. The observed strength of each ℓ-value is analyzed in terms of an underlying split doorway state of Lorentzian form, which yields an interpretation as fragmented rotational α + 28Si states. The reaction 54Fe(, p)55Fe was studied at the Munich Q3D spectrograph with a 14MeV polarized deuteron beam. Excitation energies, angular distributions and analyzing powers were measured for 39 states up to 4.5MeV excitation energy. Spin and parity assignments were made and spectroscopic factors deduced by comparison to DWBA calculations. The results were compared to predictions by large-scale shell model calculations in the full pf -shell and it was found that reasonable agreement for energies and spectroscopic factors below 2.5MeV could only be obtained if up to 6 particles were allowed to be excited from the f 7/2 orbital into p 3/2 , f 5/2 , and p 1/2 orbitals across the N = 28 gap. For levels above 2.5MeV the experimental strength distribution was found to be significantly more fragmented than predicted by the shell model calculations.  相似文献

Coherence energies extracted from excitation functions and angular distributions for the fragments emitted in the19F+63Cu reaction, measured in the range θlab=10° to 120° at incident energies between 100 to 108 MeV (lab.), were compared to the Kun model of dissipative collisions. An overall agreement was found for the angular distributions at forward angles. The general behavior of coherence energies was also properly described and interaction times were deduced.  相似文献

The reactions ATe(p, t)A?2Te have been studied with even-A targets using 51.9 MeV protons. Three or more strongly excited triton peaks were observed in the spectra of the A-2Te nuclei at energies of ≈ 2–3 MeV excitation. Angular distributions are analyzed using DWBA theory. The lowest octupole (3?1) states of five Te isotopes are strongly excited. The lowest 3? state in 120Te is established at 2.09 ±0.02 MeV. The systematics of excitation energies and cross sections for the lowest 5? and 7? states are interpreted by a quasiparticle model.  相似文献

The cross-sections for formation of isomeric pair, 75Gem(σm) and 75Geg(σg), through 76Ge(n, 2n), 75As(n, p) and 78Se(n, α) reactions were measured at 13.73 MeV, 14.42 MeV and 14.77 MeV neutrons and also estimated using EMPIRE-II and TALYS codes over neutron energies from near threshold to 20 MeV. For each (n, 2n), (n, p) and (n, α) reaction, the cross-section initially increases with neutron energy, but starts decreasing as the neutron energy exceeds the respective threshold of (n, 3n), (n, pn) and (n, αn) reactions. The higher values of σm relative to σg reveal that the transitions of the excited 75Ge from higher energy levels to metastable state (7+/2) are favored as compared to unstable ground state (1/2). The present values of cross sections for formation of 75Gem,g through (n, 2n) and (n, α) reactions are lower, and that of (n, p) reaction are higher compared to most of the corresponding literature cross-sections.  相似文献

Excitation functions of the 40Ca(d, p)41Ca and 40Ca(d, d)40Ca reactions have been measured at 45°, 90°, 135° and 170° from Ed = 4.50 to 5.43 MeV in 10 keV steps. Angular distributions of these reactions have been taken at Ed = 4.70, 5.00 and 5.30 MeV from 25° to 170° in 5° steps. Transitions were observed to the excited states for the range 0.0 ≦ Ex ≦ 3.74 MeV in 41Ca. Rapid fluctuations in the excitation functions and strong variations of the angular distributions with the incident energy were observed, suggesting that the contribution from compound nucleus processes is very large. Various quantities extracted from the experimental data were compared to the predictions of the statistical theories combined with the DWBA theory for the calculation of the direct reaction amplitudes. The results of the present analysis are consistent with the predictions of the standard statistical theories based on the neglect of the channel-channel correlation.  相似文献

The 112Sn(p, p') reaction was studied at proton energies of 20.51 and 25.0 MeV. The outgoing protons were momentum analysed with an Enge split-pole spectrograph and recorded with position-sensitive solid-state detectors with a total resolution between 10 and 15 keV. Excitation energies and angular distributions for states below 5.5 MeV excitation energy were obtained. The angular distributions were compared with macroscopic DWBA calculations in order to extract L-values and deformation parameters. Coupled-channels calculations were performed to investigate two-phonon excitations and the mixing between one- and two-phonon states. The results of the present experiment are compared with previous experimental results and with number-projected BCS calculations. The results for some of the excited states were compared with similar results for the other even Sn isotopes.  相似文献
