激光激发的声表面波为材料表面缺陷的检测提供了有力的工具.针对含缺陷材料在模型边界上的复杂性,建立了基于平面应变的有限元模型并选取了相同厚度但含有不同深度的表面裂痕的单层铝板进行了对比计算,得到了声表面波经过不同深度的表面裂痕时产生的反射及透射信号波形的时域特征.进而引入了基于Wigner-Ville分布理论的时-频分析方法计算裂痕前、后散射的瞬态表面波的能量在时间-频率平面内分布的情形.结果显示:声表面波接近中心频率的某一频率成分在经过深度小于其中心波长的表面缺陷时,随着裂痕深度的增加,对应于该频率的反射系数呈现单调递增的趋势;而透射系数呈现递减的特征,这一结果可以为激光超声检测表面缺陷提供一种定量的表征手段.  相似文献

利用动态光弹法研究掠入射垂直偏振横波(SV波)在表面裂纹处的散射声场,给出不同倾斜角度的表面裂纹引起的散射声场分布和简化波前示意图。以垂直表面裂纹为例,有限元仿真和电法测量分别直接地和间接地证明了光弹实验结果的可靠性。表面裂纹引起的各类散射波与裂纹参量密切相关且容易区分,可使用一阶散射声波到达时间反演表面裂纹的长度和倾角,实验测量值与真实值的相对误差在6%以下。  相似文献

The scattered acoustic pressure and scattered cross section of bubbles is studied using the scattered theory of bubbles. The nonlinear oscillations of bubbles and the scattering acoustic fields of a spherical bubble cluster are numerically simulated based on the bubble dynamic and fluid dynamic. The influences of the interaction between bubbles on scattering acoustic field of bubbles are researched. The results of numerical simulation show that the oscillation phases of bubbles are delayed to a certain extent at different positions in the bubble cluster, but the radii of bubbles during oscillation do not differ too much at different positions. Furthermore, directivity of the acoustic scattering of bubbles is obvious. The scattered acoustic pressures of bubbles are different at the different positions inside and outside of the bubble cluster. The scattering acoustic fields of a spherical bubble cluster depend on the driving pressure amplitude, driving frequency, the equilibrium radii of bubbles, bubble number and the radius of the spherical bubble cluster. These theoretical predictions provide a further understanding of physics behind ultrasonic technique and should be useful for guiding ultrasonic application.  相似文献

Stimulated Raman-type acoustic scattering by bubble oscillations in three-phase marine sediments, which consist of a solid frame, the pore water, and air bubbles, is considered. A model is developed for the case of the bubbles surrounded by water. The acoustic properties of the sediments are described on the basis of the Biot theory of sound propagation in a fluid-saturated porous medium. Nonlinear wave equations are obtained for marine sediments containing air bubbles. Expressions for the nonlinear scattering coefficient and the threshold intensity of the exciting sound wave are derived. A possibility of an experimental observation of the scattering process is discussed.  相似文献

Acoustic scattering by the seafloor is sometimes influenced, if not dominated, by the presence of discrete volumetric objects such as shells. A series of measurements of target strength of a type of benthic shelled animal and associated scattering modeling have recently been completed (Stanton et al., "Acoustic scattering by benthic and planktonic shelled animals," J. Acoust. Soc. Am., this issue). The results of that study are used herein to estimate the scattering by the seafloor with a covering of shells at high acoustic frequencies. A simple formulation is derived that expresses the area scattering strength of the seafloor in terms of the average reduced target strength or material properties of the discrete scatterers and their packing factor (where the reduced target strength is the target strength normalized by the geometric cross section of the scatterers and the averaging is done over orientation and/or a narrow range of size or frequency). The formula shows that, to first order, the backscattering at high acoustic frequencies by a layer of shells (or other discrete bodies such as rocks) depends principally upon material properties of the objects and packing factor and is independent of size and acoustic frequency. Estimates of area scattering strength using this formula and measured values of the target strength of shelled bodies from Stanton et al. (this issue) are close to or consistent with observed area scattering strengths due to shell-covered seafloors published in other papers.  相似文献

Recent papers have initiated interesting comparisons between aeroacoustic theory and the results of acoustic scattering problems. In this paper, we consider some aspects of these comparisons for acoustic scattering by a sphere. We give a derivation of Curle's equation for a specific class of linear acoustic scattering problems, and, in response to previous claims to the contrary, give an explicit confirmation of Curle's equation for plane wave scattering by a stationary rigid sphere of arbitrary size in an inviscid fluid. We construct the complete solution for scattering by a rigid sphere in a viscous fluid, and show that the neglect of viscous terms in Curie's equation yields an incomplete prediction of the far field dipole pressure. We also consider the null field solution of the sphere scattering problem, and give its extension to the vorticity modes associated with viscosity. Finally, we construct a solution for an elastic sphere in a viscous fluid, and show that the rigid sphere/null field solution is recovered from the limit of infinite longitudinal and shear wave speeds in the elastic solid.  相似文献

Polyatomic systems of two types are considered: a one-dimensional periodic chain of noninteracting dipoles and a plane layer of uniformly and irregularly distributed noninteracting dipoles. It is demonstrated that the Mollow triplet is observed in the spectrum of scattered radiation when the angles of strong field incidence are not very close to π/2. For sliding angles of strong field incidence on the system of dipoles, waves with frequencies of the strong field and high-frequency triplet component are scattered in forward and backward directions. In this case, radiation of low-frequency triplet component propagates along the layer on its bothsides in the form of two nonuniform waves attenuating exponentially with the distance from the layer.  相似文献

The paper describes nonlinear effects due to a biharmonic acoustic signal scattering from air bubbles in the sea. The results of field experiments in a shallow sea are presented. Two waves radiated at frequencies 30 and 31-37 kHz generated backscattered signals at sum and difference frequencies in a bubble layer. A motorboat propeller was used to generate bubbles with different concentrations at different times, up to the return to the natural subsurface layer. Theoretical consideration is given for these effects. The experimental data are in a reasonably good agreement with theoretical predictions.  相似文献

Summary We show that substantial improvements can be obtained in the shielding properties of an eddy-current-shielded room by covering the doorway with conductive plates. Results suggest that it is unnecessary to install a conductive door and show that it is worthwhile covering a small part of the doorway permanently. The scattering of a partially coherent electromagnetic beam by a dielectric sphere is described. Two methods are presented: a coherent mode representation and a spherical harmonics expansion. In the case of a distant blackbody source, the coherent modes are plane waves and the scattered intensity is obtained by a convolution of the classical Mie results over the source surface.  相似文献

利用Flax等提出的声共振散射模型,以铁中多孔石墨为例数值上研究了平面声纵波入射时固体中多孔媒质球体背向散射纵波和散射横波的频谱以及不同阶分波的共振散射谱,并由此研究了铁中多孔球形石墨不同模式的共振频率随石墨孔隙率的变化。结果表明,球形石墨的背向散射谱及各阶分波中的共振频率均随孔隙率的增加向低频移动,其形态也发生变化。因此,如果用实验测定球墨铸铁样品的超声背向散射谱或各阶分波中共振频率,有可能确定多孔石墨的孔隙率。  相似文献

Channeled particles are characterized by the discrete spectrum of bound transverse motion. The interaction of photons with channeled particles in single crystals can be accompanied by energy transitions between the levels of transverse motion of the channeled particle. The Raman scattering of photons at a quasibound channeled particle leads to the appearance of a combination of frequencies: the incident radiation frequency ω0 and the frequency Δωm, n, i.e., ω = ω0 ± Δωm,n where Δωm,n = 2Δεm,nγ2; Δεm, n is the energy of the transition between quantum states (m and n) of the transverse motion of the channeled particle; and γ = E/mc2 is the Lorentz factor of the channeled particle. The appearance of a violet satellite (the anti-Stokes component) in the Raman scattering spectrum is analyzed. The three-photon Raman-type transition, which is the process of the simultaneous absorption of two photons with the frequency ω0 with the emission of a photon with the frequency ωs = 2ω0 ± 2Δεm,nγ2, is considered. The conditions for resonance observation during the formation of the second harmonic (ω = 2ω0) are discussed.  相似文献

The scattering of high-frequency sound wave, under geometrical acoustic approximation, by three stationary vortices in two dimensions is investigated. For a sufficiently high Mach number of the vortex flow, the scattering of sound rays becomes irregular, displaying a new example of chaotic scattering for a time-reversal breaking system. The fractal dimension, as well as the unstable and stable manifolds of the scattering dynamics, is presented.  相似文献

The results presented in this communication show that the conventional configuration adopting a shear vertical wave at 45 degrees of incidence to detect cracks breaking the surface opposite the one on which the inspecting transducer is placed is not optimal when the crack depth is of the order of one wavelength of the inspecting wave or smaller. In this paper, a new approach is proposed for nondestructive characterization of immersed and embedded isotropic rod-shaped samples by inversion of acoustic scattering data. The normal mode expansion technique is used for modelling the scattered field and the compression incident and compression scattered waves are considered. Genetic algorithm is the inversion technique used for estimating the elastic wave velocities and density of the rods from their measured backscattered pressure spectrum. The inversion technique is capable of computing the parameter values that best fit a particular set of data. A perturbation study is conducted on the sensitivity of the resonance frequencies to changes in elastic properties and density of the rods. The numerical results indicate that proper selection of resonance frequencies leads to accurate measurement of elastic constants and density. The proposed approach showed very good convergence and the results obtained were found to agree very well with available data.  相似文献

Theoretical and experimental studies of the acoustic scattering by a finite linear grating of elastic cylindrical shells are performed. It is observed that a resonant interaction takes place at low frequency when the shells are very close to each other. This phenomenon can be clearly associated to the Scholte-Stoneley wave that propagates around a single shell. It is shown that each resonance of the Scholte-Stoneley wave is split up into N resonances when N shells compose the grating.  相似文献
