Abstract  The title compound, C18H18BrN3O3S, a derivative of 1,3,4-oxadiazole, crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with unit cell parameters a = 6.8731(3), b = 8.9994(4), c = 15.7099(6) ?, α = 92.779(3)°, β = 130.575(3)°, γ = 107.868(4)°, Z = 2. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of the planar naphthyl and morpholine (chair) rings with the planar oxadiazol ring is 50.1(8) and 76.8(6)°, respectively. The planar naphthyl ring is twisted 52.2(5)° with the mean plane of the morpholine ring. A group of four intermolecular close contacts are observed between a bromine atom and hydrogen atoms from the closely packed naphthyl, morpholine and oxy–methyl groups in the unit cell. These molecular interactions in concert with an additional series of π–π stacking interactions that occur between the center of gravity of the two 6-membered rings of the naphthalene group influence the twist angles of each of these three groups. A MOPAC AM1 calculation of the conformation energy of the crystal structure [226.0128(9) kcal] compared to that of the minimum energy structure after geometry optimization [29.9744(1) kcal] reveals a significantly reduced value. The twist angles of the three groups above also change after the AM1 calculation giving support to the influence of both intermolecular C–H···Br short-range interactions and Cg π–π stacking interactions on these angles which therefore play a role in stabilizing crystal packing. Abstract  The structure of the title compound (C17H15N3O4S)2 the schiff base, bis(N-(5-methyl-3-isoxazolyl)-4-[(2-hydroxy benzylidene)-amino]) benzene sulfonamide was elucidated by H1, C13 NMR, UV–VIS and IR spectroscopic techniques. The X-ray structure was determined in order to establish the conformation of the molecule. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1, with a = 11.419(1), b = 11.426(0), c = 13.316(1) ?, α = 71.94(2), β = 89.79(1), γ = 89.14(2)° and Z = 4. Two benzene rings and azomethine group are practically coplanar, as a result of intramolecular hydrogen bonds involving the hydroxy O atom and azomethine N atom. The component species further interact via N–H···N and C–H···O hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions. The crystal structure of trans-[Cr(en)2Br2]ClO4 (en = 1,2-ethanediamine) has been determined by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study at 150 K. The complex crystallizes in the space group P[`1] P\overline{1} of the triclinic system with two mononuclear formula units in a cell of dimensions a = 6.853(4), b = 8.109(5), c = 12.475(8) ?, α = 81.006(10)°, β = 77.005(10)° and γ = 74.981(10)°. The Cr atom is in a slightly distorted octahedral environment, coordinated by four nitrogen atoms of two en ligands and two bromine atoms in trans axial positions. The mean Cr–N(en) and Cr–Br bond lengths are 2.079(3) and 2.4743(10)?, respectively. The five-membered rings are in stable gauche conformations with N1–Cr1–N2 and N3–Cr2–N4 angles of 82.81(11)° and 83.67(11)°, respectively. The crystal packing is stabilized by a network of N–H···O and N–H···Br hydrogen bonds. The infrared and electronic absorption spectra are consistent with the results of X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Illites from the volcanogenic Zn-Au-Ag sulfide deposit Galkinskoe (Northern Urals) have been investigated using oblique-texture electron diffraction patterns in combination with the simulation of diffraction effects. Along with single-phase tv/cv1M illites, the structures of which are formed by statistically interstratified dioctahedral 2: 1 layers with vacant trans- or cis-octahedra, illites in the form of a mixture of two interstratified tv/cv1M phases, with the dominance of tv- or cv layers, are identified. It is shown that in the latter case the diffraction pattern can also be interpreted within the single-phase tv/cv model, provided that the tv- and cv layers are distributed with some tendency to segregate. The structural features indicating the preference of the two-phase model are analyzed.  相似文献

Abstract

Molecular and crystal structure of 4-[(p-N,N-dimethylamino)benzylidene]-2-phenyloxazol-5-one, C18H16N2O2, have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction study. The title compound is monoclinic, with a = 12.1704(23) ?, b = 3.9810(5) ?, c = 30.9603(56) ?, β = 101.176(15)°, Z = 4, D x = 1.32 g/cm3, μ(Mo Kα) = 0.087 mm−1, and space group is P121/c1. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined to a final R = 0.047 for 3166 reflections with I > 2σ(I). The crystal structure is stabilized by C–H⋯O and C–H⋯N type intra-molecular, C–H⋯O type inter-molecular interactions. To enlighten the flexibility and the geometric isomerism (E or Z) of the title compound, the selected torsion angle is varied from −180 to 180° in every 10° separately and molecular energy profile is calculated and analyzed.  相似文献

The molecular structure of the title compound, C21H15Br1N2O2, was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic sp. gr. \(P\bar 1\) with Z = 2. The molecule is not planar: the dihedral angle between the planes of two aromatic rings [C1/C6] and [C16/C21] is 84.9(2)°. The other dihedral angle between two aromatic rings [C9/C14] and [C16/C21] is 88.8(2)°. The title compound exists as a phenol-imine tautomer, in which a strong intramolecular O–H···N hydrogen bond is formed. This study verifies the preference of the phenol-imine tautomeric form in the solid state. A π–π stacking interactions are also observed, which may influence crystal stability: the distance between centroids is 3.702(2) Å.  相似文献

The crystal structure of (2Z)-(3,3-dimethyl-3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-1(2Н)-ylidene)nitrosoacetonitrile is determined (T = 150 K, R1 = 0.0435). The compound crystallizes as the E-cis and Z-cis isomers of the nitroso tautomer. Two independent molecules differ in the rotation of the nitroso group about the С–С bond between the dihydroisoquinoline group and the substituent. Analysis of bond lengths reveals their conjugation and prevailing contribution of the zwitter-ionic structures with the positive charge located on the isoquinoline fragment and the negative charge located on the substituent. Molecules having E and Z conformations are connected by the N–H···O hydrogen bond (N···O 2.922(3) Å) into dimers. The N–H group of the other molecule forms the intramolecular N–H···O hydrogen bond (N···O 2.544(3) Å) which closes a sixmembered cycle. Electronic absorption spectra are studied, and quantum-chemical modeling of the compound is performed.  相似文献

Abstract

The mixed ligand dithiocarbamate complex was synthesized by the reaction between the ammonium salt of the dithiocarbamate ligands with mercury salt. There are two mercury complexes in the asymmetric unit with a compositional disorder between an ethyl group and a methyl group. A distorted tetrahedral geometry is found for each mercury atom defined by four sulphur atoms derived from two asymmetrically chelating dithiocarbamate ligands. IR spectra show thioureide υ(C–N) bands at 1491 cm−1 which is higher than observed in the simple complexes of the same ligands. The effect of alkyl substituents were observed in the magnetic unequivalence of the thioureide and phenyl units in the NMR spectroscopy. The molecules are related to each other by virtue of the compositional disorder which exists at three positions in the alkyl group across the unit. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with a = 10.4764(10) ?, b = 11.0433(10) ?, c = 18.5566(17) ?, α = 97.8980(10)°, β = 95.3340(10)°, γ = 110.3010(10)°, and Z = 2.  相似文献
