The aim of this work is to study operators naturally connected to Ergodic operators in infinite-dimensional Banach spaces, such as Uniform-Ergodic, Cesaro-bounded and Power-bounded operators, as well as stable and superstable operators. In particular, super-Ergodic operators are introduced and shown to be strictly between Ergodic and Uniform-Ergodic operators, and that any power bounded operator is super-Ergodic in a superreflexive space. New relationships between these operators are shown, others are proven to be optimal or can be ameliorated according to structural properties of the Banach space, such as the superreflexivity or with unconditional basis.

A characterization of compact difference is given for composition operators acting on the standard weighted Bergman spaces and necessary conditions are given on a larger scale of weighted Dirichlet spaces. Conditions are given under which a composition operator can be written as a finite sum of composition operators modulo the compacts. The additive structure of the space of composition operators modulo the compact operators is investigated further and a sufficient condition is given to insure that two composition operators lie in the same component. 相似文献

In this paper we study a class of quadratic operators named by Volterra operators on infinite dimensional space. We prove that such operators have infinitely many fixed points and the set of Volterra operators forms a convex compact set. In addition, it is described its extreme points. Besides, we study certain limit behaviors of such operators and give some more examples of Volterra operators for which their trajectories do not converge. Finally, we define a compatible sequence of finite dimensional Volterra operators and prove that any power of this sequence converges in weak topology. 相似文献

In this paper, by discovering a new fact that the Lebesgue boundedness of a class of pseudo- differential operators implies the Sobolev boundedness of another related class of pseudo-differential operators, the authors establish the boundedness of pseudo-differential operators with symbols in Sρ,δ^m on Sobolev spaces, where ∈ R, ρ≤ 1 and δ≤ 1. As its applications, the boundedness of commutators generated by pseudo-differential operators on Sobolev and Bessel potential spaces is deduced. We study some algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators on the Dirichlet space. We first characterize (semi-)commuting Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols. Next we study the product problem of when product of two Toeplitz operators is another Toeplitz operator. A natural question about linear operators on the Hilbert-Hardy space is answered, motivated by work in geophysical imaging. Namely, which bounded linear operators on the Hardy space preserve the set of all shifted outer functions? A complete characterization is determined, which allows an explicit construction of all such operators. Every operator that preserves the set of shifted outer functions is necessarily a product-composition operator, consisting of composition with a shifted outer function followed by multiplication with a (possibly different) shifted outer function. Such operators represent important physical processes, including the propagation of seismic wave energy through the earth. Applications to seismic imaging are briefly discussed. 相似文献

We study the action of composition operators on Sobolev spaces of analytic functions having fractional derivatives in some weighted Bergman space or Hardy space on the unit disk. Criteria for when such operators are bounded or compact are given. In particular, we find the precise range of orders of fractional derivatives for which all composition operators are bounded on such spaces. Sharp results about boundedness and compactness of a composition operator are also given when the inducing map is polygonal.
