Herein we report on the synthesis and characterization of the first representative of a new class of gallium hydrides, namely [{GaCl(hpp)H}2] (hpp=1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrimidate). Our X-ray diffraction data suggest the presence of weak H--H contacts between adjacent [{GaCl(hpp)H}2] molecules in the crystal. With the aid of quantum-chemical calculations, the pathway of its formation starting with the adduct H2ClGaNMe3 and the pyrimidine hppH were analyzed. [{GaCl(hpp)H}2] slowly decomposes at 25 degrees C, a process which presumably leads under H2 elimination to [{GaCl(hpp)}2]. Although we were not yet able to characterize [{GaCl(hpp)}2] experimentally, DFT calculations provide information about its likely structure. According to these calculations, the molecule features a Ga--Ga single bond.  相似文献

Reaction of the lanthanide metallocene allyl complexes, (C(5)Me(5))(2)Ln(eta(3)-CH(2)CHCH(2))(THF) (Ln = Ce, Sm, Y) with 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrimidine, Hhpp, forms a series of metallocene complexes, (C(5)Me(5))(2)Ln(hpp) (Ln = Ce, Sm, Y) in which the (hpp)(1-) anion coordinates as a terminal bidentate ligand. Isomorphous structures were observed by X-ray crystallography regardless of the size of the metal. The acetonitrile adduct, (C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(hpp)(MeCN), was also crystallographically characterized to provide an unusual pair of eight- and nine-coordinate complexes. The coordination mode of the (hpp)(1-) anion in these complexes is compared with that in other heteroallylic metallocenes like the caprolactamate (C(5)Me(5))(2)Y(ONC(6)H(10)) and the dithiocarbamate (C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(S(2)CNEt(2)), which was also structurally characterized.  相似文献

The reaction between M(2)Cl(2)(NMe(2))(4), where M = Mo or W, and Hhpp (8 equiv) in a solid-state melt reaction at 150 degrees C yields the compounds M(2)(hpp)(4)Cl(2) 1a (M = Mo) and 1b (M = W), respectively, by the elimination of HNMe(2) [hpp is the anion derived from deprotonation of 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrimidine, Hhpp]. Purification of 1a and 1b is achieved by sublimation of the excess Hhpp and subsequent recrystallization from either CH(2)Cl(2) or CHCl(3) (or CDCl(3)). By single-crystal X-ray crystallography, the structures of 1a and 1b are shown to contain a central paddlewheel-like M(2)(hpp)(4) core with Mo-Mo = 2.1708(8) A (from CH(2)Cl(2)), 2.1574(5) A (from CDCl(3)), W-W = 2.2328(2) A (from CDCl(3)), and M-N = 2.09(1) (av) A. The Cl ligands are axially ligated (linear Cl-M-M-Cl) with abnormally long M-Cl bond distances that, in turn, depend on the presence or absence of hydrogen bonding to chloroform. The quadruply bonded compounds M(2)(hpp)(4), 2a (M = Mo), and 2b (M = W), can be prepared from the reactions between 1,2-M(2)R(2)(NMe(2))(4) compounds, where R = (i)()Bu or p-tolyl, and Hhpp (4 equiv) in benzene by ligand replacement and reductive elimination. The compounds 2a and 2b are readily oxidized, and in chloroform they react to form 1a and 1b, respectively. The electronic structure and bonding in the compounds 1a, 1b, 2a, and 2b have been investigated using gradient corrected density functional theory employing Gaussian 98. The bonding in the M-M quadruply bonded compounds, 2a and 2b, reveals M-M delta(2) HOMOs and extensive mixing of M-M pi and nitrogen ligand lone-pair orbitals in a manner qualitatively similar to that of the M(2)(formamidinates)(4). The calculations indicate that in the chloride compounds, 1a and 1b, the HOMO is strongly M-Cl sigma antibonding and weakly M-M sigma bonding in character. Formally there is a M-M triple bond of configuration pi(4)sigma(2), and the LUMO is the M-M delta orbital. An interesting mixing of M-M and M-Cl pi interactions occurs, and an enlightening analogy emerges between these d(4)-d(4) and d(3)-d(3) dinuclear compounds and the bonding in C(2), C(2)H(2), and C(2)Cl(2), which is interrogated herein by simple theoretical calculations together with the potential bonding in axially ligated compounds where strongly covalent M-X bonds are present. The latter were represented by the model compounds M(2)(hpp)(4)(H)(2). On the basis of calculations, we estimate the reactions M(2)(hpp)(4) + X(2) to give M(2)(hpp)(4)X(2) to be enthalpically favorable for X = Cl but not for X = H. These results are discussed in terms of the recent work of Cotton and Murillo and our attempts to prepare parallel-linked oligomers of the type [[bridge]-[M(2)]-](n)().  相似文献

A far superior synthesis is reported for W(2)(hpp)(4)Cl(2), a key intermediate in the synthesis of the most easily ionized closed-shell molecule W(2)(hpp)(4) (hpp = the anion of the bicyclic guanidine compound 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrimidine). At 200 degrees C, the one-pot reaction of the air-stable and commercially available compounds W(CO)(6) and Hhpp in o-dichlorobenzene produces W(2)(hpp)(4)Cl(2) in multigram quantities with isolated yields of over 90%. At lower temperatures, the reaction can lead to other compounds such as W(Hhpp)(2)(CO)(4) or W(2)(mu-CO)(2)(mu-hpp)(2)(eta(2)-hpp)(2), which are isolable in good purity depending upon the specific conditions employed. These compounds provide insight into the reaction pathway to W(2)(hpp)(4)Cl(2) and W(2)(hpp)(4). Two additional derivatives, W(2)(hpp)(4)X(2) where X is PF(6)(-) or the anion tetrakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borate (TFPB), have also been synthesized and structurally characterized. A comparison of the electrode potentials of W(2)(mu-CO)(2)(mu-hpp)(2)(eta(2)-hpp)(2) and the di-p-anisylformamidinate analogue shows that oxidation of the hpp compound is significantly displaced (1.12 V) and shows that the bicyclic guanidinate ligand is considerably better than the formamidinate anion at stabilizing high oxidation states. A differential pulse voltammogram of W(2)(hpp)(4)(TFPB)(2) in THF shows two reduction processes with an E(1/2) of -0.97 V for the first and -1.81 V (vs Ag/AgCl) for the second. DFT calculations on the W(2)(hpp)(4)(2+) units in W(2)(hpp)(4)X(2) compounds show that the metal-metal bonding orbitals are destabilized by the axial ligands, which accounts for significant variations in the W-W distances. The low-energy gas-phase ionizations of W(2)(hpp)(4) are also reported and discussed.  相似文献

Oxidation of Os(2)(hpp)(4)Cl(2), 1 (hpp = the anion of 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrimidine), with (FeCp(2))PF(6) produces air-stable [Os(2)(hpp)(4)Cl(2)]PF(6), 2. This is the first structurally confirmed metal-metal bonded paddlewheel compound having an M(2)(7+) core. The Os-Os distances for two crystalline forms, 2.2acetone and 2.hexane, are 2.3309(4) and 2.3290(6) A, respectively. EPR, (1)H NMR, and magnetization data indicate that 2 has an unpaired electron and an exceptionally low g value of 0.791 +/- 0.037. An electrochemical study shows that there is a quasireversible wave corresponding to a more highly oxidized species with an unprecedented Os(2)(8+) core.  相似文献

A new synthetic path, far superior to either of those previously available, to the W2(hpp)4 molecule (Hhpp = 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrimidine) is reported. The reaction of W(CO)6 with Hhpp in o-dichlorobenzene at 200 degrees C produces W2(hpp)4Cl2 in a one-pot reaction in over 90% yield. This compound is stable and easily stored for further use, and it can be efficiently reduced in a one-step reaction to the title compound W2(hpp)4.  相似文献

The series of M2(hpp)4Cl2 complexes (hpp is the anion of 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrimidine) from M = W to M = Pt has been completed by the preparation and characterization of those with M = W, Os, and Pt. W(hpp)4Cl2 (1) has a W-W distance of 2.250(2) A, is diamagnetic, and can be assigned a W-W triple bond based on a sigma 2 pi 4 electron configuration. Os2(hpp)4Cl2 (2) has an Os-Os distance of 2.379(2) A and displays a temperature-independent paramagnetism. It can be assigned a sigma 2 pi 4 delta 2 delta*2 configuration. Pt2(hpp)4Cl2 has a Pt-Pt distance of 2.440(1) A and is diamagnetic. A bond order of 1, based on a configuration in which only the sigma* orbital is empty, is consistent with these data.  相似文献

We report a dirhodium paddlewheel compound which has an Rh2(5+) core enveloped by four guanidinate ligands and an axially coordinated bromine atom; Rh2(hpp)4Br crystallizes as a 1-D chain with a Rh-Rh distance of 2.430(3) è and a Rh-Rh bond order of 1.5 (hpp = the anion of 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2a]pyrimidine).  相似文献

A series of heptametallic cyanide cages are described; they represent soluble analogues of defect-containing cyanometalate solid-state polymers. Reaction of 0.75 equiv of [Cp*Ru(NCMe)3]PF6, Et(4)N[Cp*Rh(CN)3], and 0.25 equiv of CsOTf in MeCN solution produced (Cs subset [CpCo(CN)3]4[Cp*Ru]3)(Cs subset Rh4Ru3). 1H and 133Cs NMR measurements show that Cs subset Rh4Ru3 exists as a single Cs isomer. In contrast, (Cs subset [CpCo(CN)3]4[Cp*Ru]3) (Cs subset Co4Ru3), previously lacking crystallographic characterization, adopts both Cs isomers in solution. In situ ESI-MS studies on the synthesis of Cs subset Rh4Ru3 revealed two Cs-containing intermediates, Cs subset Rh2Ru2+ (1239 m/z) and Cs subset Rh3Ru3+ (1791 m/z), which underscore the participation of Cs+ in the mechanism of cage formation. 133Cs NMR shifts for the cages correlated with the number of CN groups bound to Cs+: Cs subset Co4Ru4+ (delta 1 vs delta 34 for CsOTf), Cs subset Rh4Ru3 where Cs+ is surrounded by ten CN ligands (delta 91), Cs subset Co4Ru3, which consists of isomers with 11 and 10 pi-bonded CNs (delta 42 and delta 89, respectively). Although (K subset [Cp*Rh(CN)3]4[Cp*Ru]3) could not be prepared, (NH4 subset [Cp*Rh(CN)3]4[Cp*Ru]3) (NH4 subset Rh4Ru3) forms readily by NH4+-template cage assembly. IR and NMR measurements indicate that NH4+ binding is weak and that the site symmetry is low. CsOTf quantitatively and rapidly converts NH4 subset Rh4Ru3 into Cs subset Rh4Ru3, demonstrating the kinetic advantages of the M7 cages as ion receptors. Crystallographic characterization of CsCo4Ru3 revealed that it crystallizes in the Cs-(exo)1(endo)2 isomer. In addition to the nine mu-CN ligands, two CN(t) ligands are pi-bonded to Cs+. M subset Rh4Ru3 (M = NH4, Cs) crystallizes as the second Cs isomer, that is, (exo)2(endo)1, wherein only one CN(t) ligand interacts with the included cation. The distorted framework of NH4 subset Rh4Ru3 reflects the smaller ionic radius of NH4+. The protons of NH4+ were located crystallographically, allowing precise determination of the novel NH4...CN interaction. A competition experiment between calix[4]arene-bis(benzocrown-6) and NH4 subset Rh4Ru3 reveals NH4 subset Rh4Ru3 has a higher affinity for cesium.  相似文献

The encapsulation of the aquated forms of molybdocene dichloride and titanocene dichloride by cucurbit[n]uril (Q[n], where n = 7 and 8) at different pD values has been studied by (1)H NMR spectroscopy and molecular modelling. (1)H NMR titration experiments indicate that both metallocenes form 1 : 1 host-guest complexes with both Q[7] and Q[8]. In these complexes, both the cyclopentadienyl ligands and metal centre are positioned deep within the cucurbituril cavity. In vitro cell proliferation studies using the cancer cell lines MCF-7 and 2008 showed that the encapsulated molybdocene complex was more active than the corresponding free metallocene, with GI(50) values of 210 and 400 muM respectively. However, unexpectedly the encapsulation of Cp(2)MoCl(2(aq))at pD 7 catalysed significant degradation of the cucurbituril framework in the presence of oxygen. Encapsulation of Cp(2)TiCl(2(aq)) by Q[7] greatly slowed the protonolysis of the cyclopentadienyl ligands in aqueous phosphate buffer (pD 7), while encapsulation in Q[8] only slightly retarded the hydrolytic degradation of the metallocene.  相似文献

(1) H?NMR exchange spectroscopy of a reaction mixture of [Cp*Ir(H)(4) ] (1; Cp*=1,2,3,4,5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) and ammonia suggests an exchange of hydrogen atoms between the hydrido ligands and ammonia. Treatment of 1 with ND(3) led to an H/D exchange between ND(3) and the hydrido ligands of 1. Subsequent studies showed that photolysis of 1 isolated in frozen argon matrices leads to the formation of the iridium compounds [Cp*Ir(H)(2) ] (2) and [Cp*Ir(H)(3) ] (4), as it was confirmed by IR spectroscopy. In the presence of water the aqua complex [Cp*Ir(H)(2) (OH(2) )] (3) was generated simultaneously. Accordingly, photolysis of 1 in an argon matrix doped with ammonia gave rise to the ammine complex [Cp*Ir(H)(2) (NH(3) )] (5). IR assignments were supported by calculations of the gas-phase IR spectra of 1-5 by DFT methods.  相似文献

The first carbonyl free ruthenium/low valent Group 13 organyl complexes are presented, obtained by insertion of ER (ER = GaCp*, InCp*, In[C(SiMe(3))(3)]) into the Ru-Cl bonds of [(p-cymene)RuCl2]2, [Cp*RuCl]4 and [Cp*RuCl2]2. The compound [(p-cymene)RuCl2]2 reacts with GaCp*, giving a variety of isolated products depending on the reaction conditions. The Ru-Ru dimers [{(p-cymene)Ru}2(GaCp*)4(mu3-Cl)2] and the intermediate [{(p-cymene)Ru}2(mu-Cl)2] were isolated, as well as monomeric complexes [(p-cymene)Ru(GaCp*)3Cl2], [(p-cymene)Ru(GaCp*)2GaCl3] and [(p-cymene)Ru(GaCp*)2Cl2(DMSO)]. The reaction of [Cp*RuCl]4 with ER gives "piano-stool" complexes of the type [Cp*Ru(ER)3Cl](ER = InCp*, In[C(SiMe3)3], GaCp*. The chloride ligand in complex can be removed by NaBPh4, yielding [Cp*Ru(GaCp*)3]+[BPh4]-. The reaction of [Cp*RuCl2]2 with GaCp* however, does not lead to an insertion product, but to the ionic Ru(II) complex [Cp*Ru(GaCp*)3]+[Cp*GaCl3]-. The ER ligands in complexes 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are equivalent on the NMR timescale in solution due to a chloride exchange between the three Group 13 atoms even at low temperatures. The solid state structures, however, exhibit a different structural pattern. The chloride ligands exhibit two coordination modes: either terminal or bridging. The new compounds are fully characterized including single crystal X-ray diffraction. These results point out the different reactivities of the two precursors and the nature of the neutral p-cymene and the anionic Cp* ligand when bonding to a Ru(II) centre.  相似文献

A series of compounds has been made containing quadruply bonded Re2(hpp)4X2 species (hpp = the anion of 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-pyrimido[1,2a]pyrimidine), where X is CF3SO3 (1), CF3CO2 (2), and F (3). The distances of 2.1562(7), 2.1711(5), and 2.1959(4) A for 1-3 show significant effects of the sigma and pi electron donating ability of the axial ligands on the metal-metal distance. With the weakly coordinating triflate ligand the Re-Re distance is the shortest for any quadruple bonded species known. In addition to examining the effects of axial ligands on the Re2(hpp)42+ core, our study of the Re2(hpp)43+ core is being extended beyond the preliminary results previously reported in only one compound [Re2(hpp)4Cl2]PF6 (Dalton Trans. 2003, 1218). We now report the structural characterization by both X-ray and neutron diffraction of the compound [Re2(hpp)4F](TFPB)2, 4 (TFPB = the anion tetrakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borate), and a detailed study by EPR spectroscopy of [Re2(hpp)4Cl2]PF6 at 9.5, 34.5, and 95 GHz frequencies, using dilute fluid solutions, frozen glass, and neat powder, show that the unpaired electron in the [Re2(hpp)4Cl2]+ ion is in an MO of predominant metal character with little mixing from the guanidinate ligands.  相似文献

The 16-electron half-sandwich complex [Cp*Ir[S2C2(B10H10)]] (Cp* = eta5-C5Me5) (1a) reacts with [[Rh(cod)(mu-Cl)]2] (cod = cycloocta-1,5-diene, C8H12) in different molar ratios to give three products, [[Cp*Ir[S2C2(B10H9)]]Rh(cod)] (2), trans-[[Cp*Ir[S2C2(B10H9)]]Rh[[S2C2(B10H10)]IrCp*]] (3), and [Rh2(cod)2[(mu-SH)(mu-SC)(CH)(B10H10)]] (4). Complex 3 contains an Ir2Rh backbone with two different Ir-Rh bonds (3.003(3) and 2.685(3) angstroms). The dinuclear complex 2 reacts with the mononuclear 16-electron complex 1a to give 3 in refluxing toluene. Reaction of 1a with [W(CO)3(py)3] (py = C5H5N) in the presence of BF3.EtO2 leads to the trinuclear cluster [[Cp*Ir[S2C2(B10H10)]]2W(CO)2] (5) together with [[Cp*Ir(CO)[S2C2(B10H10)]]W(CO)5] (6), and [Cp*Ir(CO)[S2C2(B10H10)]] (7). Analogous reactions of [Cp*Rh[S2C2(B10H10)]] (1 b) with [[Rh(cod)(mu-Cl)]2] were investigated and two complexes cis-[[Cp*Rh[S2C2(B10H10)]]2Rh] (8) and trans-[[Cp*Rh[S2C2(B10H10)]]2Rh] (9) were obtained. In refluxing THF solution, the cisoid 8 is converted in more than 95 % yield to the transoid 9. All new complexes 2-9 were characterized by NMR spectroscopy (1H, 11B NMR) and X-ray diffraction structural analyses are reported for complexes 2-5, 8, and 9.  相似文献

Complexes [Ir(Cp*)Cl(n)(NH2Me)(3-n)]X(m) (n = 2, m = 0 (1), n = 1, m = 1, X = Cl (2a), n = 0, m = 2, X = OTf (3)) are obtained by reacting [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 with MeNH2 (1:2 or 1:8) or with [Ag(NH2Me)2]OTf (1:4), respectively. Complex 2b (n = 1, m = 1, X = ClO 4) is obtained from 2a and NaClO4 x H2O. The reaction of 3 with MeC(O)Ph at 80 degrees C gives [Ir(Cp*){C,N-C6H4{C(Me)=N(Me)}-2}(NH2Me)]OTf (4), which in turn reacts with RNC to give [Ir(Cp*){C,N-C6H4{C(Me)=N(Me)}-2}(CNR)]OTf (R = (t)Bu (5), Xy (6)). [Ir(mu-Cl)(COD)]2 reacts with [Ag{N(R)=CMe2}2]X (1:2) to give [Ir{N(R)=CMe2}2(COD)]X (R = H, X = ClO4 (7); R = Me, X = OTf (8)). Complexes [Ir(CO)2(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (9) and [IrCl{N(R)=CMe2}(COD)] (R = H (10), Me (11)) are obtained from the appropriate [Ir{N(R)=CMe2}2(COD)]X and CO or Me4NCl, respectively. [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 reacts with [Au(NH=CMe2)(PPh3)]ClO4 (1:2) to give [Ir(Cp*)(mu-Cl)(NH=CMe2)]2(ClO4)2 (12) which in turn reacts with PPh 3 or Me4NCl (1:2) to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(NH=CMe2)(PPh3)]ClO4 (13) or [Ir(Cp*)Cl2(NH=CMe2)] (14), respectively. Complex 14 hydrolyzes in a CH2Cl2/Et2O solution to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl2(NH3)] (15). The reaction of [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 with [Ag(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (1:4) gives [Ir(Cp*)(NH=CMe2)3](ClO4)2 (16a), which reacts with PPNCl (PPN = Ph3=P=N=PPh3) under different reaction conditions to give [Ir(Cp*)(NH=CMe2)3]XY (X = Cl, Y = ClO4 (16b); X = Y = Cl (16c)). Equimolar amounts of 14 and 16a react to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (17), which in turn reacts with PPNCl to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(H-imam)]Cl (R-imam = N,N'-N(R)=C(Me)CH2C(Me)2NHR (18a)]. Complexes [Ir(Cp*)Cl(R-imam)]ClO4 (R = H (18b), Me (19)) are obtained from 18a and AgClO4 or by refluxing 2b in acetone for 7 h, respectively. They react with AgClO4 and the appropriate neutral ligand or with [Ag(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 to give [Ir(Cp*)(R-imam)L](ClO4)2 (R = H, L = (t)BuNC (20), XyNC (21); R = Me, L = MeCN (22)) or [Ir(Cp*)(H-imam)(NH=CMe2)](ClO4)2 (23a), respectively. The later reacts with PPNCl to give [Ir(Cp*)(H-imam)(NH=CMe2)]Cl(ClO4) (23b). The reaction of 22 with XyNC gives [Ir(Cp*)(Me-imam)(CNXy)](ClO4)2 (24). The structures of complexes 15, 16c and 18b have been solved by X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

The phosphide-bridged dimolybdenum complexes (H-DBU)[Mo2Cp2(mu-PR2)(CO)4] (R= Cy, Ph; DBU = 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0.]undec-7-ene) react with p-benzoquinone to give the hemiquinone complexes [Mo(2)Cp2(OC6H4OH)(mu-PR2)(CO)4]. The latter experience facile homolytic cleavage of the corresponding Mo-O bonds and react readily at room temperature with HSPh or S2Ph2 to give the thiolate complexes [Mo2Cp2(mu-PCy2)(mu-SPh)(CO)4] or [Mo2Cp2(mu-PR2)(mu-SPh)(CO)2]. In contrast, PRH-bridged substrates experience overall insertion of quinone into the P-H bond to give the anionic compounds (H-DBU)[Mo(2)Cp2{mu-PR(OC6H4OH)}(CO)4], which upon acidification yield the corresponding neutral hydrides. The cyclohexyl anion experiences rapid nucleophilic displacement of the hemiquinone group by different anions ER- (ER = OH, OMe, OC4H5, OPh, SPh) to give novel anionic compounds (H-DBU)[Mo2Cp2{mu-PCy(ER)}(CO)4], which upon acidification yield the corresponding neutral hydrides. The structure of four of these hydride complexes [PPh(OC6H4OH), PCy(OH), PCy(OMe), and PCy(OPh) bridges] was determined by X-ray diffraction methods and confirmed the presence of cis and trans isomers in several of these complexes. In addition, it was found that the hydroxyphosphide anion [Mo2Cp2{mu-PCy(OH)}(CO)4]- displays in solution an unprecedented tautomeric equilibrium with its hydride-oxophosphinidene isomer [Mo2Cp2(mu-H){mu-PCy(O)}(CO)4]-.  相似文献

H ? C Bond Cleavage in Ferrocene by Organylruthenium Complexes Cp*(Me3P)2RuCH2CMe3 ( 1 ) reacts at 85°C with ferrocene ( 2 ) by cleavage of one H? C bond in 2 to give CpFe[η5-C5H4Ru(PMe3)2Cp*] ( 3 ) (Cp = η5-C5H5; Cp* = η5-C5Me5) and neopentane. The ruthenium atom in 3 has a distorted tetrahedral geometry, the planar Cp ligands in the ferrocenyl fragment are eclipsed. Solutions of 3 in [D6]benzene or [D8]THF exhibit H? D exchange of the ferrocenyl protons. In the [D8]THF molecule only the α-deuterium atoms are exchanged. Reaction pathways for this exchange are discussed.  相似文献
