Spatiotemporal dynamics in a predator-prey model with a functional response increasing in both predator and prey densities 下载免费PDF全文
In this paper, we studied a diffusive predator-prey model with a functional response increasing in both predator and prey densities. The Turing instability and local stability are studied by analyzing the eigenvalue spectrum. Delay induced Hopf bifurcation is investigated by using time delay as bifurcation parameter. Some conditions for determining the property of Hopf bifurcation are obtained by utilizing the normal form method and center manifold reduction for partial functional differential equation. 相似文献

In this paper, a delayed predator-prey system with Holling type III functional response incorporating a prey refuge and selective harvesting is considered. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the conditions for the local stability and existence of Hopf bifurcation for the system are obtained, respectively. By utilizing normal form method and center manifold theorem, the explicit formulas which determine the direction of Hopf bifurcation and the stability of bifurcating period solutions are derived. Finally, numerical simulations supporting the theoretical analysis are given. 相似文献

This paper investigates the dynamics of an improved discrete Leslie-Gower predator-prey model with prey refuge and fear factor. First, a discrete Leslie-Gower predator-prey model with prey refuge and fear factor has been introduced. Then, the existence and stability of fixed points of the model are analyzed. Next, the bifurcation behaviors are discussed, both flip bifurcation and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation have been studied. Finally, some simulations are given to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results. 相似文献

We study a predator-prey model with Holling type II functional response incorporating a prey refuge under homogeneous Neumann boundary condition. We show the existence and non-existence of non-constant positive steady-state solutions depending on the constant m∈(0,1], which provides a condition for protecting (1−m)u of prey u from predation. Moreover, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of spacially inhomogeneous solutions and the local existence of periodic solutions. 相似文献

In this article, we study a reaction-diffusion predator-prey model that describes intraguild predation. We mainly consider the effects of time delay and cross-fractional diffusion on dynamical behavior. By using delay as the bifurcation parameter, we perform a detailed Hopf bifurcation analysis and derive the algorithm for determining the direction and stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions. We also demonstrate that proper cross-fractional diffusion can induce Turing pattern, and the smaller the order of fractional diffusion is, the more easily Turing pattern is able to occur. 相似文献

The effect of prey refuge and time delay on a diffusive predator‐prey system with hyperbolic mortality 下载免费PDF全文
In this article, we investigate the effect of prey refuge and time delay on a diffusive predator‐prey system with Holling II functional response and hyperbolic mortality subject to Neumann boundary condition. More precisely, we study Turing instability of positive equilibrium by using refuge as parameter, instability and Hopf bifurcation induced by time delay. In addition, by the theory of normal form and center manifold, we derive conditions for determining the bifurcation direction and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solution. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, we study the influence of the nonlocal interspecific competition of the prey population on the dynamics of the diffusive predator-prey model with prey social behavior. Using the linear stability analysis, the conditions for the positive constant steady state at which undergoes Hopf bifurcation, T-H bifurcation (Turing-Hopf bifurcation) are investigated. The Turing patterns occur in the presence of the nonlocal competition and cannot be found in the original system. For determining the dynamical behavior near T-H bifurcation point, the normal form of the T-H bifurcation has been used. Some graphical representations are provided to illustrate the theoretical results. 相似文献

This paper presents a qualitative study of a diffusive predator–prey system with the hunting cooperation functional response. For the system without diffusion, the existence, stability and Hopf bifurcation of the positive equilibrium are explicitly determined. It is shown that the hunting cooperation affects not only the existence of the positive equilibrium but also the stability. For the diffusive system, the stability and cross-diffusion driven Turing instability are investigated according to the relationship of the self-diffusion and the cross-diffusion coefficients. Stability and cross-diffusion instability regions are theoretically determined in the plane of the cross-diffusion coefficients. The technique of multiple time scale is employed to deduce the amplitude equation of Turing bifurcation and then pattern dynamics driven by the cross-diffusion is also investigated by the corresponding amplitude equation. 相似文献

This paper discuss the cusp bifurcation of codimension 2 (i.e. Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation) in a Leslie~Gower predator-prey model with prey harvesting, which was not revealed by Zhu and Lan [Phase portraits, Hopf bifurcation and limit cycles of Leslie-Gower predator-prey systems with harvesting rates, Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems Series B. 14(1) (2010), 289-306]. It is shown that there are different parameter values for which the model has a limit cycle or a homoclinic loop. 相似文献

In this paper, spatial patterns of predator-prey model with cross diffusion are investigated. The Hopf and Turing bifurcation critical line in a spatial domain are obtained by using mathematical theory. Moreover, exact Turing space is given in two parameters space. Our results reveal that cross diffusion can induce stationary patterns, which may be useful to help us better understand the dynamics of the real ecosystems. 相似文献

Ratio-dependent predator-prey models have been increasingly favored by field ecologists where predator-prey interactions have to be taken into account the process of predation search. In this paper we study the conditions of the existence and stability properties of the equilibrium solutions in a reaction-diffusion model in which predator mortality is neither a constant nor an unbounded function, but it is increasing with the predator abundance. We show that analytically at a certain critical value a diffusion driven (Turing type) instability occurs, i.e. the stationary solution stays stable with respect to the kinetic system (the system without diffusion). We also show that the stationary solution becomes unstable with respect to the system with diffusion and that Turing bifurcation takes place: a spatially non-homogenous (non-constant) solution (structure or pattern) arises. A numerical scheme that preserve the positivity of the numerical solutions and the boundedness of prey solution will be presented. Numerical examples are also included. 相似文献

A delayed prey–predator model with Crowley–Martin‐type functional response including prey refuge 下载免费PDF全文

In this paper, we have studied a prey–predator model living in a habitat that divided into two regions: an unreserved region and a reserved (refuge) region. The migration between these two regions is allowed. The interaction between unreserved prey and predator is Crowley–Martin‐type functional response. The local and global stability of the system is discussed. Further, the system is extended to incorporate the effect of time delay. Then the dynamical behavior of the system is analyzed, taking delay as a bifurcation parameter. The direction of Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcated periodic solution are determined with the help of normal form theory and centre manifold theorem. We have also discussed the influence of prey refuge on densities of prey and predator species. The analytical results are supplemented with numerical simulations. The present paper deals with a prey–predator model incorporating a prey-refuge and independent harvesting in either species. Our study shows that, using the harvesting efforts as controls, it is possible to break the cyclic behaviour of the system and drive it to a required state. The possibility of existence of bionomic equilibria has been considered. The problem of optimal harvest policy is then solved by using Pontryagin's maximal principle. 相似文献

Global stability of a delayed ratio-dependent predator-prey model with Gompertz growth for prey 下载免费PDF全文
A delayed ratio-dependent predator-prey model with Gompertz growth for prey is investigated. The local stability of a predator-extinction equilibrium and a coexistence equilibrium is discussed. Furthermore, the existence of Hopf bifurcation at the coexistence equilibrium is established. By constructing a Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are obtained for the global stability of the coexistence equilibrium. 相似文献

To understand the influence of fear effect on population dynamics, especially for the populations with obvious stage structure characteristics, we propose and investigate a diffusive prey-predator model with stage structure in predators. First, we discuss the existence and stability of equilibrium of the model in the absence of diffusion. Then, we obtain the critical conditions for Hopf and Turing bifurcations. Some numerical simulations are also carried out to verify our theoretical results, which indicate that the fear can induce the prey population to show five pattern structures: cold-spot pattern, mixed pattern with cold spots and stripes, stripes pattern, hot-spot pattern, mixed pattern with hot spots and stripes. These findings imply that the fear effect induced by the mature predators plays an important role in the spatial distribution of species. 相似文献

Hopf bifurcation in a diffusive predator-prey model with herd behavior and prey harvesting 下载免费PDF全文
In this paper, the dynamics of a diffusive delayed predator-prey model with herd behavior and prey harvesting subject to the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition is considered. Firstly, choosing the harvesting term as a bifurcation parameter, then we obtain the existence and the stability of the equilibrium by analyzing the distribution of the roots of associated characteristic equation. Secondly, time delay is regarding as a bifurcation parameter, and the use of the normal form theory and center manifold theorem, the existence, stability and direction of bifurcating periodic solutions are all demonstrated detailly. Finally, summarizing some numerical simulations to illustrate the theoretical analysis. 相似文献

In a natural ecosystem, specialist predators feed almost exclusively on one species of prey. But generalist predators feed on many types of species. Consequently, their dynamics is not coupled to the dynamics of a specific prey population. However, the defense of prey formed by congregating made the predator tend to move in the direction of lower concentration of prey species. This is described by cross-diffusion in a generalist predator–prey model. First, the positive equilibrium solution is globally asymptotically stable for the ODE system and for the reaction–diffusion system without cross-diffusion, respectively, hence it does not belong to the classical Turing instability scheme. But it becomes linearly unstable only when cross-diffusion also plays a role. This implies that cross–diffusion can lead to the occurrence and disappearance of the instability. Our results exhibit some interesting combining effects of cross-diffusion, predations and intra-species interactions. Furthermore, we consider the existence and non-existence results concerning non-constant positive steady states (patterns) of the system. We demonstrate that cross-diffusion can create non-constant positive steady-state solutions. 相似文献

Stability and bifurcation analysis of a delayed predator-prey model of prey dispersal in two-patch environments 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper, a class of delayed predator-prey model of prey dispersal in two-patch environments is considered. By analyzing the associated characteristic transcendental equation, its linear stability is investigated and Hopf bifurcation is demonstrated. Some explicit formulae determining the stability and the direction of the Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions bifurcating from Hopf bifurcations are obtained by using the normal form theory and center manifold theory. Some numerical simulation for justifying the theoretical analysis are also provided. Finally, biological explanations and main conclusions are given. 相似文献
