A single MoFe3S4 cubane-like cluster compound has been synthesized through spontaneous self-assembly of simple inorganic salts with organosulfur ligand for the first time. (Et4N)-(MoFe3S4(Et2NCSS)5] CH3CN(1) is quite stable in air. The crystal of 1 is monoclinic with space group P2/c, a=22.897 (3)Å, b= 12.399 (2)Å, c=20.928 (4)Å, β=97.15 (1)°, and Z=4. A full matrix least-squares refinement with 6725 unique reflections for all nonhydrogen atoms gives R=0.068. The anion of 1 is the first isolated single MoFe3S4 cubane cluster with core oxidation state [MoFe3S4]4+. The distance between the two 6-coordinate metal atoms (Mo, Fe) is 2.624 Å, which is the shortest M-M' bond observed for Mo-Fe-S clusters so far and the only one shorter than similar distances in FeMo-cofactor. The bond orders of this anion were calculated by EHMO method and the results coincide with the general rule. The structural feature and the unusual stability of 1 can be attributed to the bidentate chelating effect of Et2NCSS-, which leads to high coordination of metal atoms and the various ligated types.  相似文献

A novel (Me3PhCH2N)2[MoFe4S4(SC6H11)7] cubane-like cluster was obtained from a reaction system including (NH4)2MoS4, FeCl2 and NaSC6H11 in methanol, and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The title compound crystallizes in triclinic space group witha = 1.523 1(3), b =1.610 5(3),c = 1.838 3(4) nm, α = 77.18 (3)°, β = 75.17(3)°, γ = 64.60(3)°, and Z = 2. Also included in this paper are the discussions on the variation of the reaction products obtained from the participation of cyclohexylthiolate and on the changes of the structural features of the products. A series of organometallic molybdenum/iron/sulfur clusters of the general formula [Cp1MoFe3S4Ln]m (Cp1 = η5-C5Me5; L = StBu, SPh, Cl, I, n = 3, m = 1−; Ln = I2(PtBu3), m = 0; L = 2,6-diisopropylphenylisocyanide (ArNC), n = 7, m = 1+) have been synthesized. A cubane cluster (PPh4)[Cp1MoFe3S4(StBu)3] (2) was isolated from a self-assembly reaction of Cp1Mo(StBu)3 (1), FeCl3, LiStBu, and S8 followed by cation exchange with PPh4Br in CH3CN, while an analogous cluster (PPh4)[Cp1MoFe3S4(SPh)3] (3) was obtained from the Cp1MoCl4/FeCl3/LiSPh/PPh4Br reaction system or from a ligand substitution reaction of 2 with PhSH. Treatment of 2 with benzoyl chloride gave rise to (PPh4)[Cp1MoFe3S4Cl3] (4), which was in turn converted to (PPh4)[Cp1MoFe3S4I3] (5) by the reaction with NaI. A neutral cubane cluster Cp1MoFe3S4I2(PtBu3) (6) was generated upon treating 5 with PtBu3. Although reduction of 4 by cobaltocene under the presence of ArNC resulted in a disproportionation of the cubane core to give Fe4S4(ArNC)9Cl (7), a similar reduction reaction of 5 produced [Cp1MoFe3S4(ArNC)7]I (8), where the MoFe3S4 core was retained. Mixed-ligand Complexes of Rhenium. IX. Reactions on the Nitrido Ligand of [ReN(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2]. Synthesis, Characterization, and Structures of [Re(NBCl3)(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2], [Re(NGaCl3)(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2], and [Re(NS)Cl(Me2PhP)2(Et2dtc)] BCl3, GaCl3 and S2Cl2 react with the well-known [ReN(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2] by attack of the nucleophilic nitrido ligand. Final products of these reactions are [Re(NBCl3)-(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2], [Re(NGaCl3)(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2], and [Re(NS)Cl(Me2PhP)2Et2dtc)] which have been studied by mass spectrometry, IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. [Re(NBCl3)(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2] crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 , Z = 2, a = 8.151(6), b = 9.935(8), c = 18.67(1) Å; α = 94.42(4), β = 97.09(1), γ = 101.35(4)°. The coordination geometry is a distorted octahedron. The equatorial coordination sphere is occupied by one phosphorus and three sulphur atoms. The fourth sulphur atom is in trans position to the Re?N? B moiety. The almost linear Re?N? B unit has an Re?N? B angle of 170.5(3)° with a Re? N bond length of 1.704(3) Å. The analogous [Re(NGaCl3)(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2] crystallizes in P21/c with a = 8.138(3), b = 18.279(2), c = 19.880(6) Å; β = 99.81(2)°; Z = 4. Rhenium has a distorted octahedral environment. The Re? N? Ga bond is slightly bent with an angle of 154.5(4)° and a Re? N bond length of 1.695(6) Å. [Re(NS)Cl(Me2PhP)2(Et2dtc)] crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 , Z = 4, a = 9.514(2); b = 16.266(5); c = 18.388(3) Å; α = 88.75(2), β = 76.59(2), γ = 85.50(2)° with two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. Rhenium has a distorted octahedral environment with the chloro ligand in trans position to the almost linear thionitrosyl group. The Re?N bond lengths are 1.795(6) and 1.72(1) Å, respectively, and the N?S distances are 1.55(1) and 1.59(1) Å, respectively.  相似文献

Two novel heterometallic cubane-like and double cubane-like clusters, {MoCu3S3(S2COEt)}(O)(Ph3P)3 I and {Mo2Cu6S6(SCMe3)2}(O)2(Ph3P)4 II, were synthesized by reaction of {MoCu2S3}(O)(Ph3P)3 with CuS2COEt and CuSCMe3, respectively. ClusterI crystallized in the triclinic space group (2) witha=12.766(6) Å,b=22.904(5) Å,c=10.522(3) Å, =99.86(2)°, =109.68(2)°, =86.84(3)°,V=2854(2) Å3,Z=2,R=0.049 for 6622 observed reflections (I>5(I)) and 410 variables. ClusterII crystallized in the triclinic space group (2) with dimensionsa=14.212(4) Å,b=14.725(5) Å,c=12.396(8) Å, =110.32(4)°, =90.40(5)°, =62.88(2)°,V=2129(2) Å3,Z=1,R=0.039 for 6020 observed reflections (I>3(I)) and 461 variables. ClusterI consists of a neutral cubane-like molecule with the core {MoCu3S3(S2COEt)}2+, in which one corner of the cubane-like core is a novel triply bridging bidentate 1,1-dithiolato (xanthate, S2COEt) ligand. ClusterII is a double cubane-like one, in which two cubane-like cores {MoCu3S3(SCMe3)}2+ are connected by two Cu-S bonds of the triply bridging monothiolato (SCMe 3 ) ligand. Two different pathways of unit construction from a small heterometallic cluster {MoCu2S3}(O)(Ph3P)3 have been outlined. Comparisons of the selected bond lengths and bond angles for the cubane-like core {MoCu3S3 X} (X=Cl, Br, S2COEt, SCMe 3 ) are given. Spectroscopic properties of the title clusters are also reported.  相似文献

Reaction of Tin Chlorides with Polysulfides. Crystal Structures of (PPh4)2[SnCl2(S6)2], (PPh4)2[Sn4Cl4S5(S3)O], and (PPh4)2[SnCl6] · S8 · 2CH3CN . The reaction of PPh4[SnCl3] with Na2S4 in acetonitrile in the presence of small amounts of water yields (PPh4)2[Sn4Cl4S5(S3)O] and minor amounts of (PPh4)2[SnCl2(S6)2], PPh4Cl · 2S8 and (PPh4)2[SnCl6]. SnCl4 is partially reduced by (PPh4)2Sx, PPh4[SnCl3] and (PPh4)2[SnCl6] · S8 · 2CH3CN being produced. According to the X-ray crystal structure determination the [Sn4Cl4S5(S3)O]2?-ion consists of an O atom that is coordinated by four Sn atoms which in turn are liked with one another by five single S atoms and one S3 group. In the [SnCl2(S6)2]2?-ion the Sn atom is octahedrally coordinated by two Cl atoms in trans arrangement and by two chelating S6 groups. Octahedral [SnCl6]2? ions and S8 molecules in the crown conformation are present in (PPh4)4[SnCl6] · S8 · 2CH3CN.  相似文献

MoO42? is reduced by diethyldithiocarbamate (Et2dtc?) on prolonged digestion in aqueous medium whereby the complex [Mo2VO2S2(Et2dtc)2] is formed. The central moiety Mo2O2S22+ has a high formation tendency. When [Mo2V(S2)6]2? is refluxed with Et2dtc? in ethanol, [Mo2VS (Et2dtc)2] is formed, the X-ray crystal structure of which has been determined (space group P212121, a = 10.550(2) Å, b = 13.820(5) Å, c = 14.723(12) Å, dc = 1.90 g · cm3?, Z = 4). The Mo? Mo distance of the diamagnetic compound is 2.817(2) Å and the average Mo=St distance 2.099(4) Å.  相似文献

Mixed-Ligand Complexes of Rhenium IV. The Reaction of [ReNCl2(Me2PhP)3] with Dithiocarbamates. X-Ray Crystal Structures of trans-Chloro-dimethyldithiocarbamato-bis(dimethylphenylphosphine) nitridorhenium(V), [ReN(Cl)(Me2PhP)2(Me2dtc)], and Bis(diethyldithiocarbamato)(dimethylphenylphosphine)nitridorhenium(V), [ReN(Cl)(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2] [ReNCl2(Me2PhP)3] reacts with dialkyldithiocarbamates, R2dtc?, under a stepwise ligand exchange. Final products of these reactions are the well-known [ReN(R2dtc)2] bischelates. Intermediatelly, however, complexes of the general formulae [ReN(Cl)(Me2PhP)2(R2dtc)] and [ReN(Me2PhP)(R2dtc)2] can be isolated. Representatives have been structurally characterized. [ReN(Cl)(Me2PhP)2(Me2dtc)] crystallizes monoclinic in the space group P21/c, Z = 4. The dimensions of the unit cell are a = 13.071(3); b = 11.622(1); c = 15.667(3) Å; β = 97.09(1)°. The rhenium atom has a distorted octahedral environment; the Re≡N bond length is 1.71(1) Å. The Re? Cl bond distance is markedly lengthened (2.665(2) Å) as a consequence of the strong trans labilizing influence of the coordinated nitrido ligand. [ReN(Me2PhP)(Et2dtc)2] crystallizes monoclinic in the space group P21/c, Z = 4, a = 17.262(3); b = 14.915(2); c = 9.888(2); β = 76.35(8)°. The equatorial coordination sphere is occupied by one phosphorus atom and three sulphur atoms. One of the dithiocarbamate ligands is coordinated bidentately; the second one with two distinct Re? S bond lengths. The Re? S(4) distance is 2.7983(2) Å which can be discussed as a weak interaction with the metal.  相似文献

[Au(Et2dtc)2][TcNCl4] – Synthesis and Structure [Au(Et2dtc)2][TcNCl4] (Et2dtc = N,N‐diethyldithiocarbamate) is formed by the reaction of [Au(CO)Cl] with [TcN(Et2dtc)2] in dichloromethane. The solid state structure of the compound is characterized by a large triclinic unit cell (space group, P1, a = 9.422(2), b = 22.594(5), c = 32.153(7) Å, α = 72.64(1), β = 85.19(1), γ = 86.15(1)°, Z = 12) and shows an unusual arrangement due to long‐range contacts between the technetium atoms and sulfur atoms of the [Au(Et2dtc)2]+ units (3.45–3.56 Å) which assemble two anions and one cation to {[TcNCl4][Au(Et2dtc)2] · [TcNCl4]} moieties.  相似文献

A molybdenum cluster complex [Mo43-S)22-S)4)(SH)2(PMe3 6] has been synthesized by the reaction of (NH4)2Mo3S13 with trimethylphosphine. The cluster core is composed of four molybdenum atoms arranged in the rhombus bridged by two capping and four bridging sulfur atoms. Two SH and six tri-methylphosphine ligands are coordinated to the terminal positions. The mean oxidation stares of molybdenum is +3.5 and there are five Mo-Mo bonds consistent with ten metal cluster electrons. The complex has been converted into [Mo43-S)22-S)4 X 2(PMe3)6] (X=Cl, Br, I, SCN) and [Mo4μ3-S22-S)4 (die)2(PMe3)4] (dtc - diethyldithiocarbamate). In the case of the dtc complex, two terminal trimetlaylphosphine ligands are displaced and dtc ligands are coordinated in chelate fashion. The structures of the SH, Cl, Br, and dtc complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Molecular orbital calculations with DV-Xα method has shown large HOMO-LUMO gaps (1.52-1.74eV) for [Mo4S6 X 2(PH3)4] (X= SH, Cl, and Br).  相似文献

Two novel heterometallic trinuclear incomplete cubane-like clusters [(CH3CH2)4N][{M2CuS4}(edt)2(PPh3)] (M = Mo, W) have been synthesized by reaction of [(CH3CH2)4N]2[M2S4(edt)2] (M = Mo, W) with Cu(PPh3)2(dtp) [where edt is 1,2-ethane-dithiolato ligand, dtp is S2P(OCH2CH3)2]. The two crystals are isomorphous in space group P1 (No. 1). The unit cell contains two independent molecules, but the two discrete anions have the same orientation for the PPh3 ligands along one axis so the space group is undoubtedly non-centrosymmetric. The discrete anion contains two edt ligands and one PPh3 ligand attached to one incomplete cubane-like cluster core {M2CuS4}3+ (M = Mo, W). The bond lengths of Mo---Mo[W---W] and the two Mo---Cu[W-Cu] are 2.852(2)[2.844(1)], 2.802(2)[2.765(3)], 2.760(2)[2.762(3)] Å, respectively. The M 2S4(edt)2 (M = Mo, W) moiety remains almost unchanged, except that for the compound 1 the Mo=S double bond length elongates from av. 2.10 to av. 2.165 Å. The title clusters provide a new type of unsymmetric μ2-bridging sulphido ligand. The incomplete cubane-like cluster core {Mo2CuS4}3+ of compound 1 is distorted because the two Cu---μ2---S bond lengths are significantly different (2.313 Å and 2.409 Å), but the core {W2CuS4}3+ of compound 2 has approximately Cs symmetry. The IR spectra of the two title clusters and two starting materials are assigned.  相似文献

Two mixed‐valent disc‐like hepta‐nuclear compounds of [FeIIFeIII6(tea)6](ClO4)2 ( 1Fe , tea = N(CH2CH2O)33?) and [MnII3MnIII4(nmdea)6(N3)6]·CH3OH ( 2Mn , nmdea = CH3N(CH2CH2O)22?) have been synthesized by the reaction of Fe(ClO4)2·6H2O with triethanolamine (H3tea) for the former and reaction of Mn(ClO4)2·6H2O with diethanolamine (H2nmdea) and NaN3 for the later, respectively. 1Fe has the cationic cluster with a planar [FeIIFeIII6] core consisting of one central FeII and six rim FeIII atoms in hexagonal arrangement. The Fe ions are linked by the oxo‐bridges from the alcohol arms in the manner of edge‐sharing of their coordination octahedra. 2Mn is a neutral cluster with a [MnII3MnIII4] core possessing one central MnII atom surrounded by six rim Mn ions, two MnII and four MnIII. The structure is similar to 1Fe but involves six terminal azido ligands, each coordinate one rim Mn ion. 1Fe showed dominant antiferromagnetic interaction within the cluster and long‐range ordering at 2.7 K. The cluster probably has a ground state of low spin of S = 5/2 or 4/2. The long‐range ordering is weak ferromagnetic, showing small hysteresis with a remnant magnetization of 0.3 Nβ and a coercive field of 40 Oe. Moreover, the isofield of lines 1Fe are far from superposition, indicating the presence of significant zero–field splitting. Ferromagnetic interactions are dominant in 2Mn . An intermediate spin ground state 25/2 is observed at low field. In high field of 50 kOe, the energetically lowest state is given by the ms = 31/2 component of the S = 31/2 multiplet due to the Zeeman effect. Despite of the large ground state, no single‐molecule magnet behavior was found above 2 K.  相似文献

A tetranuclear molybdenum cluster compound {Mo43-S)33-O)[S2P(OEt)2]5} · 3CH3CN was obtained by the reaction of MoCl3 · 3H2O with P2S5 in ethanol and then recrystallization from acetonitrile. The compound crystallizes in the trigonal system belonging to the space group R3 with the following cell dimensions: a = b = c = 12.852 (3) Å, α = β = γ = 108.37 (2)°, V =1697.3Å3 Z = 1, Dc. = 1.693g.cm?3. The structure was solved by heavy atom method and refined by full-matrix least-squares to R = 0.072 for 1781 reflections with I≥3σ(I). The results of the structure determination indicate that the cluster skeleton possesses a cubanelike cluster core formed by four Mo atoms located in a distored tetrahedron with three S atoms and one O atom as its triple bridging atoms. There are two sets of bond distances, i.e. 2.700 (1) and 2.831(1) Å in the six Mo—Mo bonds. Taking the Mo cluster core as a whole, it has a formal oxidation state of +14, leaving ten electrons to form the metal-metal bonds. Thus each Mo—Mo bond has an average bond order of 5/6.  相似文献

Hexakis(N—allylthiourea)tetracopper(I) Tetratrifluoromethanesulfonate, [Cu4{CH2=CHCH2NHC(S)NH2}6](CF3SO3)4 (sp.gr.P21/n, a = 13.5463(8), b = 24.129(2), c = 19.128(1)Å, β = 108.053(6)°, Z = 4, R = 0.0440 for 13548 unique reflections) was obtained by reduction of Cu(CF3SO3)2 with excess of N—allylthiocarbamide in benzene medium. Four crystallographical independent Cu atoms possess trigonal environment of three S atoms of CH2=CHCH2NHC(S)NH2 moiety and form Cu4S64+ adamantane—like fragments. Synthesis and Crystal Structures of (PPh4)2[TeS3] · 2 CH3CN and (PPh4)2[Te(S5)2] (PPh4)2[TeS3] · 2 CH3CN was obtained by the reaction of PPh4Cl, Na2S4 and Te in acetonitrile. With sulfur it reacts yielding (PPh4)2[Te(S5)2]. The crystal structures of both products were determined by X-ray diffraction. (PPh4)2[TeS3] · 2 CH3CN: triclinic, space group P1 , Z = 2, R = 0.041 for 4 629 reflexions; it contains trigonal-pyramidal [TeS3]2? ions with an average Te? S bond length of 233 pm. (PPh3)2[Te(S5)2]: monoclinic, P21/n, Z = 2, R = 0.037 for 2 341 reflexions. In the [Te(S5)2]2? ion the tellurium atom has a nearly square coordination by four S atoms. Along with the Te atoms each of the two S5 groups forms a ring with chair conformation.  相似文献
