In this paper, we give some sufficient conditions for products of two supersolvable sub-groups to be supersolvable groups. Our results generalize some known results.Theorem 1 Let G = HK,(|H|,|K|) = 1, Where H and K are two supersolvable sub-groups. If H is commutative with every maximal subgroup of K, and K is commutative with every maximal subgroup of H, then G is supersolvable.Theorem 2 Let G = HK, H ∩ K = 1, H G, and K be quasinormal in H. If H, K are supersolvable, the G is supersolvable.Theorem 3 Let G= HK,(|H|,|K|) = 1,H,K be two supersolvable subgroups. If H is commutative with any Sylow subgroup of K and any maximal subgroup of every sylow subgroup of K, and K is commutative with any sylow subgroup of H and any maximal subgroup of every sylow subgroup of H, then G is supersolvable. Theorem 4 If H,K are two supersolvable subgroups of G, G= HK, G′is nilpotent, H is quasi normal K, and K is quasi normal in H,then G is supersolvable. Theorem 5 If H,K are two supersolvable subgroups of G, G= HK, H′? G,[H,K]? G,[H,K] is nilpotent, H is quasi normal in K, and K is quasi normal in H,then G is supersolvable.

Some Characterizations of Finite Hermitian Veroneseans

We characterize the finite Veronesean of all Hermitian varieties of PG(n,q²) as the unique representation of PG(n,q²) in PG(d,q), d n(n+2), where points and lines of PG(n,q²) are represented by points and ovoids of solids, respectively, of PG(d,q), with the only condition that the point set of PG(d,q) corresponding to the point set of PG(n,q²) generates PG(d,q). Using this result for n=2, we show that is characterized by the following properties: (1) ; (2) each hyperplane of PG(8,q) meets in q²+1, q³+1 or q³+q²+1 points; (3) each solid of PG(8,q) having at least q+3 points in common with shares exactly q²+1 points with it.51E24

Some Finite Abelian Group Theory and Some $${}$$-Series Identities

The purpose of this article is to compute certain weighted sums over various subposets of the poset of isomorphism classes of finite abelian \({\ell}\)-groups, where \({\ell}\) is a fixed odd prime. These sums are similar to previous sums computed by Hall and Cohen-Lenstra. The computation expands upon the previous analysis of Cohen-Lenstra while also using the tools of hypergeometric functions and \({q}\)-series. The identities computed in this article, while aesthetically pleasing in their own right, also turn out to be applicable to the construction of a random matrix version of the Cohen-Lenstra-Martinet heuristics.
