The chemical composition of the above-ground parts of Astragalus danicus and A. inopinatus collected in the Baikal region (Eastern Siberia) was studied for the first time. From A. danicus, pentacyclic triterpene saponins were isolated and identified, viz., 3-O-(-glucuronopyranosyl)-3,22,24-trihydroxyolean-12-ene, 3-O-[O-(-d-xylopyranosyl)-(12)-(-glucuronopyranosyl)]-3,22,24-trihydroxyolean-12-ene, 3-O-[O-(-d-glucopyranosyl)-(12)-(-glucuronopyranosyl)]-3,22,24-trihydroxyolean-12-ene, 3-O-[O-(-l-rhamnopyranosyl)-(12)-O-(-d-xylopyranosyl)-(12)-(-glucuronopyranosyl)]-3,22,24-trihydroxyolean-12-ene, 3-O-[O-(-l-rhamnopyranosyl)-(12)-O-(-d-glucopyranosyl)-(12)-(-glucuronopyranosyl)]-3,22,24-trihydroxyolean-12-ene, 3-O-methyl-d-chiro-inositol, and linolenic acid. In A. inopinatus, the same saponins were identified as well as tricosan-1-ol and tetracosan-1-ol, 5,7,4"-trihydroxyflavon (apigenin), and a tetracyclic triterpenoid, 20(R),24(S)-epoxycyclolanost-9(11)-ene-3,6,16,25-tetrol (cycloastragenol). All reported compounds from the both genus of Astragalus were isolated for the first time. Methanolic extracts of A. danicusand A. inopinatus exhibited low inhibitory activity with respect to the growth of HeLa cells. The chloroform fraction of A. danicus showed a strong antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and a strong cytotoxic activity against HeLa cells.  相似文献

The known compound oleanolic acid (1) and a new cycloartane glycoside cyclounifolioside A (2), which has the structure 6,16-di-O-acetyl-24R-cycloartan-6,16,24,25-pentaol 3-O--D-glucopyranoside, were isolated from Astragalus unifoliolatus Bunge. -Pyridylhydrazono-cyanacetylcarbamic acid ethyl ester (1), l-(-pyridyl)-5-cyano-6-azauracil (2), 1-(-pyridyl)-6-azauracil-5-carboxylic acid (3), its thioamide (4) and amidoxime (5) were prepared as described in preceding communications. (5) was converted into l-(-pyridyl)-5-[5-methyl-1,2,4-oxdiazolyl(3)]-6-azauracil (6).

Summary From the seends ofCheiranthus allioni hort. another three cardiac glycosides have been isolated. One of them has been identified as cheirotoxin. It has been established that in cheirotoxin the D-glucose is attached to C4 of the D-gulomethylose and this glycoside therefore has the structure of strophanthidin 3-O-[4-O--D-glucopyranosyl--D-gulomethylopyranoside]. The glycosides of the plantAstragalus villosissimus Bunge have been studied. Four glycosides have been isolated from the roots of this plant, and two of them have been identified as -sitosterol -D-glucopyranoside and cycloaraloside C. The most polar glycoside, which has also been isolated from the roots ofAstragalus amarus Pall., proved to be a new triterpene glycoside of the cycloartane series and has been called cycloaraloside F. It is a trioside of cyclosieversigenin containing two molecules of D-glucose and one molecule of D-apiose. The glycosylation of lupeol, allobetulin, 3-28-dihydroxy-18-lupene, 3-28-dihydroxy-18, 19-epoxylupane and of betulin monoacetates in acetonitrile with mercury cyanide has been studied. The 3- and 28-mono- and the 3,28-di-O--D-glucopyranosides of 3-28-dihydroxy-18-lupene and of 3-28-dihydroxy-18, 19-epoxylupane have been synthesized for the first time. 60Co -ray radiolysis of cholesterol /3-hydroxy-5-cholestene/ /I/ in the two-phase system /water-ethyl acetate/ and in the presence of air has been studied using TLC and GC methods. The following products were observed in the irradiated mixture: 3, 7-dihydroxy-5-cholestene /II/, G O. 36, 3-hydroxy-7-keto-5-cholestene /III/, G 1.48, 3-hydroxy-7-keto-5-cholestane /IV/, G 0.22, 3,5,6-trihydroxy-5-cholestane /V/, G 0.83, 5,6-epoxy-3-hydroxy-5-cholestane /VIa/, G 0.26, 5,6-epoxy-3-hydroxy-5-cholestane /VIb/, G 0.24, and 2, 3-dihydroxy-5-cholestene /VII/, G 0.22. The dose dependence of the formation of these products shows that the cholesterol derivatives substituted in the position 7 /II–IV/ are formed from a common precursor — the radical Ia. On the other hand, the products of the 5–C=C double bond reactions /V and VI/ are formed independently. Also the product VII is formed independently. A reaction scheme that is in agreement with these results is proposed.  相似文献

Six polyhydroxylated steroids and their derivatives were isolated from the starfish Lysastrosoma anthosticta collected in the Posyet Bay, Sea of Japan. These include a new glycoside of the steroid polyol, lysastroside A (1), which was identified as (25S)-26-O--d-xylopyranosyl-5-cholestane-3,6,8,15,16,26-hexaol, and the previously known pycnopodioside C monoglycoside (2), marthasterone sulfate (3), (25S)-5-cholestane-3,6,8,15,16,26-hexaol (4), (25S)-5-cholestane-3,6,7,8,15,16,26-heptaol (5), and (25S)-5-cholestane-3,6,7,8,15,16,26-heptaol (6). The compounds were tested for the haemolytic activity and the action on the embryogenesis of the sea urchin Strongylocentrotus intermedius.  相似文献

Stereoselective hydrogenation of thymol over Rh/alumina in the presence of various equivalents of -cyclodextrin (-CD) and itsderivatives in the solid state was studied. Hydrogenation of thymol in the absence of -CD gave 76.8% epimeric alcohols with a menthol/neomenthol (M/N) ratio of 5.6 and an alcohol/ketone ratio of 4.5, whereas the presence of 0.1 equivalent (to thymol) of -CD gave rise to 94.6% of epimeric alcohols with a M/N ratio of 6.3 and an alcohol/ketone ratio of 45.4. The effect of -cyclodextrin and its derivatives on the modification of the yield and the proportion of epimeric alcohols formed were found to be the salient features of this investigation. Inclusion complexation of thymol by -CD studied by UV-Visible spectroscopyindicated a 2:1 stoichiometry ofthymol: -CD complex with a binding constant value of 480 ±40 M-2.  相似文献

Abstruct Some physicochemical properties of methylated -cyclodextrins, i.e., heptakis(2,6-di-O-methyl)--cyclodextrin (DM--CyD) and heptakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)--cyclodextrin (TM--CyD) were compared with those of natural -cyclodextrin (-CyD). Inclusion behaviors of -CyD and methylated -CyDs in water and in solid state were studied by solubility analysis, spectroscopies (UV, CD,13C-NMR and IR), X-ray diffractometry and thermal analysis, using an antiinflammatory drug flurbiprofen (FP) as a guest molecule. The spectral data suggest that the inclusion mode of FP-TM--CyD is somewhat different from those of FP--CyD and FP-DM--CyD. The solid complexes of FP with - and methylated -CyDs were obtained in molar ratio of 11, and their dissolution behavior and release from suppository base were examined. The data are presented suggesting that DM--CyD is particularly useful for improving the pharmaceutical properties of FP in various dosage forms.  相似文献
