Vanadium–silicon heteronuclear oxide cluster cations were prepared by laser ablation of a V/Si mixed sample in an O2 background. Reactions of the heteronuclear oxide cations with methane in a fast‐flow reactor were studied with a time‐of‐flight (TOF) mass spectrometer to detect the cluster distribution before and after the reactions. Hydrogen abstraction reactions were identified over stoichiometric cluster cations [(V2O5)n(SiO2)m]+ (n=1, m=1–4; n=2, m=1), and the estimated first‐order rate constants for the reactions were close to that of the homonuclear oxide cluster V4O10+ with methane. Density functional calculations were performed to study the structural, bonding, electronic, and reactivity properties of these stoichiometric oxide clusters. Terminal‐oxygen‐centered radicals (Ot . ) were found in all of the stable isomers. These Ot . radicals are active sites of the clusters in reaction with CH4. The Ot . radicals in [V2O5(SiO2)1–4]+ clusters are bonded with Si rather than V atoms. All the hydrogen abstraction reactions are favorable both thermodynamically and kinetically. This work reveals the unique properties of metal/nonmetal heteronuclear oxide clusters, and may provide new insights into CH4 activation on silica‐supported vanadium oxide catalysts.  相似文献

Undue influence : N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) were found to reduce the strength of the B? H bonds of borane by a surprisingly large amount upon the formation of NHC–BH3 complexes. This property was exploited in the development of a suite of NHC–borane complexes for the reduction of xanthates in radical‐mediated Barton–McCombie‐type deoxygenation reactions (see scheme). Conventional thermal and microwave conditions were compared for hydrogen–deuterium (H/D) exchange reactions of aminobenzoic acids catalysed by NaBD4‐activated Pd/C or RhCl3 with D2O as the deuterium source. We also investigated different NaBD4‐activated metal catalysts (including Pd/C, RhCl3 and Pt/C) under microwave conditions for an efficient H/D exchange of aromatic and heterocyclic compounds. Even higher deuterium incorporations were obtained for Pd/C and Pt/C catalyst mixtures due to the previously observed synergistic effect. Finally, we have applied these optimised conditions for one‐step syntheses of the MS standards of several pharmaceutically active compounds.  相似文献

[FeIII(F20‐tpp)Cl] (F20‐tpp=meso‐tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrinato dianion) is an effective catalyst for imido/nitrene insertion reactions using sulfonyl and aryl azides as nitrogen source. Under thermal conditions, aziridination of aryl and alkyl alkenes (16 examples, 60–95 % yields), sulfimidation of sulfides (11 examples, 76–96 % yields), allylic amidation/amination of α‐methylstyrenes (15 examples, 68–83 % yields), and amination of saturated C? H bonds including that of cycloalkanes and adamantane (eight examples, 64–80 % yields) can be accomplished by using 2 mol % [FeIII(F20‐tpp)Cl] as catalyst. Under microwave irradiation conditions, the reaction time of aziridination (four examples), allylic amination (five examples), sulfimidation (two examples), and amination of saturated C? H bonds (three examples) can be reduced by up to 16‐fold (24–48 versus 1.5–6 h) without significantly affecting the product yield and substrate conversion.  相似文献

A rapid access to 2,2′‐bithiazole‐based copolymers has been developed on the basis of the sequential palladium‐catalyzed C H/C X and C H/C H coupling reactions. To assemble a “copolymer” through homopolymerization, a type of symmetric A‐B‐A‐type building block is designed as the monomer and prepared via the regioselective C5 H arylation of thiazole. A PdCl2/CuCl‐cocatalyzed oxidative C H/C H homopolymerization has been established to afford the 2,2′‐bithiazole‐based copolymers with high Mn (up to 69400). The current protocol features atom‐ and step‐economy and exhibits a potential in the highly efficient construction of conjugated copolymers.

The development of efficient aerobic oxidation methods remains a challenge for the selective functionalization of C H bonds in alkanes. Herein we report the development of a C H functionalization procedure for propane by using a palladium catalyst with chelating bis(N‐heterocyclic carbene) ligands in trifluoroacetic acid together with a vanadium co‐catalyst. Halides play a decisive role in the reaction. The experimental results are presented together with supporting kinetic data and an isotope effect. The reaction can be run with dioxygen as the oxidant if vanadium salts and halides are present in the reaction mixture. Experimental as well as computational results favor a mechanism involving C H activation by palladium(II), followed by oxidation to palladium(IV) by bromine.  相似文献

The ionic liquid 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate [BMIm][BF4] has demonstrated high efficiency when applied as a solvent in the oxidative nitro‐Mannich carbon? carbon bond formation. The copper‐catalyzed cross‐dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) between N‐phenyltetrahydroisoquinoline and nitromethane in [BMIm][BF4] occurred with high yield under the described reaction conditions. Both the ionic liquid and copper catalyst were recycled nine times with almost no lost of activity. The electrochemical behavior of the tertiary amine substrate and β‐nitroamine product was investigated employing [BMIm][BF4] as electrolyte solvent. The potentiostatic electrolysis in ionic liquid afforded the desired product with a high yield. This result and the cyclic voltammetric investigation provide a better understanding of the reaction mechanism, which involves radical and iminium cation intermediates.  相似文献

Transition‐metal‐catalyzed sp3 C? H activation has emerged as a powerful approach to functionalize saturated cyclic amines. Our group recently disclosed a direct catalytic arylation reaction of piperidines at the α position to the nitrogen atom. 1‐(Pyridin‐2‐yl)piperidine could be smoothly α‐arylated if treated with an arylboronic ester in the presence of a catalytic amount of [Ru3(CO)12] and one equivalent of 3‐ethyl‐3‐pentanol. A systematic study on the substrate and reagent scope of this transformation is disclosed in this paper. The effect of substitution on both the piperidine ring and the arylboronic ester has been investigated. Smaller (pyrrolidine) and larger (azepane) saturated ring systems, as well as benzoannulated derivatives, were found to be compatible substrates with the α‐arylation protocol. The successful use of a variety of heteroarylboronic esters as coupling partners further proved the power of this direct functionalization method. Mechanistic studies have allowed for a better understanding of the catalytic cycle of this remarkable transformation featuring an unprecedented direct transmetalation on a RuII? H species.  相似文献
