The use of a thin thiol‐functionalized silica film modified glassy carbon electrode in the determination of Hg(II) ions in a natural water sample is described. A typical measurement involves two successive steps: a glassy carbon electrode coated with a thin mesoporous silica film containing 10% of mercaptopropyl groups, according to the MPTMS/TEOS ratio in the starting sol‐gel, was first immersed into the accumulation medium for 15 min, then removed, and finally transferred into a detection solution containing KCl 1.0 mol L?1 where detection was performed by anodic stripping voltammetry. In this medium the previously accumulated Hg2+ species complexed by the thiol groups in an open circuit preconcentration step is then directly reduced at ?0.6 V during 60 s prior to be quantified by a differential pulse anodic scan from ?0.6 to 0.3 V (vs. Ag/AgCl). A stripping peak appeared at about ?0.01 V, which is directly proportional to the quantity of the analyte previously accumulated into the film. The best results were obtained under the following conditions: 100 mV pulse amplitude and 10 mV s?1 scan rate in 1.0 mol L?1 KCl solution pH 2.0. Using such parameters a linear dynamic range from 1.00 to 10.0×10?8 mol L?1 Hg(II) was observed with a limit of detection of 4.3 nmol L?1 for an accumulation time of 15 min. Hg(II) spiked in a natural water sample was determined between 97.0 and 101.4% mean recovery at 10?8 mol L?1 level. The results indicate that this electrode is sensitive and selective for the Hg(II)determination.  相似文献

The voltammetric behavior of paraquat was investigated at hydroxyapatite‐modified carbon paste electrode HAP‐CPE in K2SO4. A method was developed for the detection of the trace of this herbicide, based on their redox reaction. The reduction peaks of paraquat were observed around ?0.70 V and ?1.00 V (vs. SCE) in square‐wave voltammetry. Experimental conditions were optimized by varying the accumulation time, apatite loading and measuring solution pH. Calibration plots were linear under the optimized parameters over the herbicide's concentration range 8–200×10?7 mol L?1, with a detection and quantification limits about 1.5×10?8 mol L?1 and 6.4 10?8 mol L?1, respectively.  相似文献

The in situ plated lead film electrode was proposed for the first time for adsorptive stripping voltammetric determination of gallium in water samples. The method was based on simultaneous lead film formation and Ga(III)‐cupferron complex preconcentration at ?0.7 V and its cathodic stripping during the potential scan. The composition of the supporting electrolyte, cupferron concentration, conditions of lead film formation, potential and time of accumulation were studied in detail. Under optimum conditions the limit of detection was 3.8×10?9 mol L?1. The proposed procedure was validated in the course of Ga(III) determination in waste water certified reference materials.  相似文献

This work reports the application of screen‐printed electrodes bulk‐modified with bismuth precursors to the voltammetric determination of 2‐nitrophenol (2‐NP), 4‐nitrophenol (4‐NP) and 2,4‐dinitrophenol (2,4‐DNP) in water samples. A bismuth film was formed at the electrode surface via in situ reduction of the precursor compound contained in the electrode matrix by cathodic polarization at ?1.20 V. The formation of bismuth layer at the precursor‐modified electrodes was assessed by cyclic voltammetric (CV) at different pH values and by optical techniques. The target nitrophenols were voltammetrically determined by recording their reduction peaks in the differential pulse (DP) mode. The composition and content of the precursor compounds in the printed ink and the effect of the pH of the supporting electrolyte on the DP reduction currents of the 3 target nitrophenols were studied. The limits of quantification (LOQs) in three water matrices (distilled water, tap water and surface water) were in the range 1.1–2.2 µmol L?1. Using a simple solid‐phase extraction (SPE) procedure with Lichrolut EN cartridges and elution with methanol, a preconcentration factor of 100 was achieved; the LOQs were 0.021, 0.027 and 0.025 µmol L?1 for 2‐NP, 4‐NP and 2,4‐DNP, respectively. The recoveries of samples spiked with the 3 target nitrophenols at two concentration levels (0.04 and 0.1 µmol L?1) were always >87 %.  相似文献

A novel hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) sensor was fabricated by using a submonolayer of 3‐mercaptopropionic acid (3‐MPA) adsorbed on a polycrystalline gold electrode further reacted with poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimer (generation 4.0) to obtain a film on which Prussian Blue (PB) was later coordinated to afford a mixed and stable electrocatalytic layer for H2O2 reduction. On the basis of the electrochemical behaviors, atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X‐ray photoelectron spectra (XPS), it is suggested that the PB molecules are located within the dendritic structure of the surface attached PAMAM dendrimers. It was found that the PB/PAMAM/3‐MPA/Au modified electrode showed an excellent electrocatalytic activity for H2O2 reduction. The effects of applied potential and pH of solution upon the response of the modified electrode were investigated for an optimum analytical performance. Even in the presence of dissolved oxygen, the sensor exhibited highly sensitive and rapid response to H2O2. The steady‐state cathodic current responses of the modified electrode obtained at ?0.20 V (vs. SCE) in air‐saturated 0.1 mol L?1 phosphate buffer solution (PBS, pH 6.50) showed a linear relationship to H2O2 concentration ranging from 1.2×10?6 mol L?1 to 6.5×10?4 mol L?1 with a detection limit of 3.1×10?7 mol L?1. Performance of the electrode was evaluated with respected to possible interferences such as ascorbic acid and uric acid etc. The selectivity, stability, and reproducibility of the modified electrode were satisfactory.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive polymer‐modified electrode was developed for β‐lactam antibiotics (cefaclor, amoxycillin and ampicillin) present in formulated and blood plasma samples for the quantitative analysis in aqueous environment. The detection was made using an ion‐exchange voltammetric technique, in differential pulse mode, on poly(N‐chloranil N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylene diammonium dichloride)‐modified hanging mercury drop electrode of a three‐electrode system (PAR Model 303A) attached with a Polarographic Analyzer/Stripping Voltammeter (PAR Model 264A). Antibiotics, which are electroinactive compounds, were essentially converted to their electroactive oxazolone analogues through acid treatment under drastic conditions (0.1 mol L?1 HCl, ~85 °C, 2 h). These analytes in the form of their respective oxazolones were indirectly analyzed by oxazolone entrapment in the polymeric film through ion‐exchange process at modified electrode surface (accumulation potential ?0.20 V (vs. Ag/AgCl), accumulation time 120 s, pH 7.4, KH2PO4‐NaOH buffer (ionic strength 0.1 mol L?1), scan rate 10 mV s?1, pulse amplitude 25 mV). The limit of detection of cefaclor‐derived oxazolone was found to be 2.12 nmol L?1 (0.82 ppb, S/N 3, RSD 3.21%) in terms of cefaclor (a representative β‐lactam) concentration.  相似文献

Carbon paste electrodes were modified by mixing appropriate amounts of the monomers o‐phenylendiamine, p‐phenylendiamine and m‐phenylendiamine (o‐PD, p‐PD and m‐PD) into a graphite powder‐paraffin oil matrix. The electropolymerization of the incorporated phenylendiamine was then carried out in a carbon paste electrode in acidic medium by cyclic voltammetry between ?0.30 V and +0.90 or under constant potential. The modified carbon paste electrodes (MCPEs) obtained by this electropolymerization method were found to be useful for trace determination of Pb2+ in aqueous solutions. Lead(II) was first preconcentrated on the modified electrodes by complexation with the modifier, and the electrode was then transferred to an electrochemical cell. The best results in terms of sensitivity and detection limit were obtained with poly p‐phenylenediamine (poly (p‐PD)). For a 10‐min preconcentration time, the calibration plot was linear from 5×10?8 mol L?1 to 10?5 mol L?1, with r2=0.999 and relative standard deviation equal to 5%. However, the lowest lead concentration that could be detected was 10?9 mol L?1. Interference from metal ions like Cd(II), Hg(II), Zn(II), Fe(II) and Cu(II) was also studied.  相似文献

A biomimetic sensor containing the oxo‐bridged dinuclear manganese‐phenanthroline complex incorporated into a cation‐exchange polymeric film deposited onto glassy carbon electrode for detection of sulfite was studied. Cyclic voltammetry at the modified electrode in universal buffer showed a two electron oxidation/reduction of the couple MnIV(μ‐O)2MnIV/MnIII(μ‐O)2MnIII. The sensor exhibited electrocatalytic property toward sulfite oxidation with a decrease of the overpotential of 450 mV compared with the glassy carbon electrode. A plot of the anodic current versus the sulfite concentration for potential fixed (+0.15 V vs. SCE) at the sensor was linear in the 4.99×10?7 to 2.49×10?6 mol L?1 concentration range and the concentration limit was 1.33×10?7 mol L?1. The mediated mechanism was derived by Michaelis? Menten kinetics. The calculated kinetics values were Michaelis? Menten rate constant= =1.33 µmol L?1, catalytic rate constant=6.06×10?3 s?1 and heterogeneous electro‐chemical rate constant=3.61×10?5 cm s?1.  相似文献

A simple adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry method has been developed for antimony (III and V) speciation using 4‐(2‐thiazolylazo) – resorcinol (TAR). The methodology involves controlled preconcentration at pH 5, during which antimony(III) – TAR complex is adsorbed onto a hanging mercury drop electrode followed by measuring the cathodic peak current (Ip,c) at ?0.39 V versus Ag/AgCl electrode. The plot of Ip,c versus antimony(III) concentration was linear in the range 1.35×10?9–9.53×10?8 mol L?1.The LOD and LOQ for Sb(III) were found 4.06×10?10 and 1.35×10?9 mol L?1, respectively. Antimony(V) species after reduction to antimony(III) with Na2SO3 were also determined. Analysis of antimony in environment water samples was applied satisfactorily.  相似文献

Differential pulse voltammetric determination of selenocystine (SeC) using selenium‐gold film modified glassy carbon electrode ((Se‐Au)/GC) is presented. In 0.10 mol?L?1 KNO3 (pH 3.20) solution, SeC yields a sensitive reduction peak at ?740 mV on (Se‐Au)/GC electrode. The peak current has a linear relationship with the concentration of SeC in the range of 5.0×10?8–7.0×10?4 mol?L?1, and a 3σ detection limit of SeC is 3.0×10?8 mol?L?1. The relative standard deviation of the reduction current at SeC concentration of 10?6 mol?L?1 is 3.88% (n=8) using the same electrode, and 4.19% when using three modified electrodes prepared at different times. The content of SeC in the selenium‐enriched yeast and selenium‐enriched tea is determined. The total selenium in ordinary or selenium‐enriched tea is determined by DAN fluorescence method. The results indicate that in selenium‐enriched yeast about 20% of total selenium is present as SeC and in selenium‐enriched tea SeC is the major form of selenoamino acids. The total selenium content in selenium‐enriched tea soup is 0.09 μgSe/g accounting by 7% compared with that in selenium‐enriched tea. Hence, only a little amount of selenium is utilized by drinking tea, and most selenium still stay in tealeaf. Uncertainty are 22.4% and 16.1% for determination of SeC in selenium‐enriched yeast and selenium‐enriched tea by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) on (Se‐Au)/GC electrode, respectively.  相似文献

An adsorptive stripping voltammetric (AdSV) procedure for the determination of monobutyltin in aqueous media at a silver liquid amalgam film‐modified silver solid amalgam annular band electrode (AgLAF? AgSAE) is described. Determination of monobutyltin proceeds in two steps. At the beginning monobutyltin ions (BuSn3+) are accumulated from 0.1 M NH4NO3 and 10 % ethanol solution at a potential of ?0.2 V, than the BuSn0 film is preconcentrated at the working electrode surface at a potential of ?0.7 V. After this step the DP AdSV voltammogram is recorded. The analytical parameters and the procedure of the electrode regeneration and activation were optimized. The calibration curve of monobutyltin in the range 0.02–0.30 mg L?1 is linear (r=0.9973). The detection limit for 5 s of preconcentration, calculated as 3σ of the blank was equal to 0.004 mg L?1, repeatability of the peak current was 1.8 % (n=5). Repeatability and sensitivity of monobutyltin determination depends strongly on the analyzed solution properties, measurement conditions and the working electrode quality. The proposed procedure was tested by means of monobutyltin determination in tap waters.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode coated the film of 4‐tert‐butyl‐1‐(ethoxycarbonylmethoxy)thiacalix[4]arene is designed for the determination of trace amounts of Hg2+. Compared with bare glassy carbon electrode, the modified electrode can improve the measuring sensitivity of Hg2+. Under the optimum experimental condition, the modified electrode in 0.1 mol L?1 H2SO4 + 0.01 mol L?1 KCl solution shows a linear voltammetric response in the range of 8.0 × 10?9 ~ 3.0 × 10?6 mol L?1 with detection limit 5.0 × 10?9 mol L?1 for Hg2+. The high sensitivity, selectivity, and stability of modified electrode also prove its practical application for a simple, rapid and economical determination of Hg2+ in water samples.  相似文献

Electrochemical behavior of dopamine (DA) was investigated at the gold nanoparticles self‐assembled glassy carbon electrode (GNP/LC/GCE), which was fabricated by self‐assembling gold nanoparticles on the surface of L ‐cysteine (LC) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) via successive cyclic voltammetry (CV). A pair of well‐defined redox peaks of DA on the GNP/LC/GCE was obtained at Epa=0.197 V and Epc=0.146 V, respectively. And the peak separation between DA and AA is about 0.2 V, which is enough for simultaneous determination of DA and AA. The peak currents of DA and AA were proportional with their concentrations in the range of 6.0×10?8–8.5×10?5 mol L?1 and 1.0×10?6–2.5×10?3 mol L?1, with the detection limit of 2.0×10?8 mol L?1 and 3.0×10?7 mol L?1 (S/N=3), respectively. The modified electrode exhibits an excellent reproducibility, sensibility and stability for simultaneous determination of DA and AA in human serum with satisfactory result.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode modified with a ruthenium (III) hexacyanoferrate film was investigated for the determination of captopril in pharmaceutical formulations. The RuOHCF film was deposited on the surface of the electrode after applying 50 successive cycles and subsequent stabilization in a mixture of NaNO3 0.50 mol L?1+HCl 0.050 mol L?1 used as supporting electrolyte. The main processes responsible for the redox electrode response are attributed to the system RuII/RuIII/RuIV, and appeared at ?0.080, 0.86 and 1.01 V (vs. SCE). The redox process at ?0.080 V was selected for the determination of captopril in the present study, once it provided higher sensibility and occurs in a lower potential than the other ones which can prevent interferences. The experimental parameters used in the determination of the analyte, using differential pulse voltammetry were optimized: pulse amplitude: 50 mV, scan rate: 5 mV s?1 and potential window: ?0.5 to 0.2 V (vs. SCE). The analytical application of the sensor in real samples demonstrated a linear range between 0.060 and 0.80 µmol L?1 (r=0.998) with a detection limit of 0.047 µmol L?1. A mechanism based on co‐precipitation of captopril and the Ru (III) complex in the film is presented once the signal of the RuII/III redox couple decreases with increasing the analyte concentration. Recoveries of 99 to 100 % were achieved in pharmaceutical samples and the proposed procedure agreed with the HPLC official method within 95 % confidence level, according to the t‐Student test.  相似文献

A modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared as an electrochemical voltammetric sensor based on molecularly imprinted polymer film for tartrazine (TT) detection. The sensitive film was prepared by copolymerization of tartrazine and acrylamide on the carbon nanotube-modified glassy carbon electrode. The performance of the imprinted sensor was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in detail. Under the optimum conditions, two dynamic linear ranges of 8?×?10?8 to 1?×?10?6?mol?L?1 and 1?×?10?6 to 1?×?10?5?mol?L?1 were obtained, with a detection limit of 2.74?×?10?8?mol?L?1(S/N?=?3). This sensor was used successfully for tartrazine determination in beverages.  相似文献

The accumulation voltammetry of mercury(II) was investigated at a carbon paste electrode chemically modified with silica gel functionalized with 2,5‐dimercapto‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole (DTTPSG‐CPE). The repetitive cyclic voltammogram of mercury(II) solution in the potential range ?0.2 to +0.8 V (vs. Ag/AgCl), (0.02 mol L?1 KNO3 ; v=20 mV s?1) show two peaks one at about 0.0 V and other at 0.31 V. However, the cathodic wave peak, around 0.0 V, is irregular and changes its form in each cycle. This peak at about 0.0 V is the reduction current for mercury(II) accumulated in the DTTPSG‐CPE. The anodic wave peak at 0.31 V is well‐defined and does not change during the cycles. The resultant material was characterized by cyclic and differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry performed with the electrode in differents supporting electrolytes. The mercury response was evaluated with respect to pH, electrode composition, preconcentration time, mercury concentration, “cleaning” solution, possible interferences and other variables. The precision for six determinations (n=6) of 0.05 and 0.20 mg L?1 Hg(II) was 2.8 and 2.2% (relative standard deviation), respectively. The method was satisfactory and used to determine the concentration of mercury(II) in natural waters contaminated by this metal.  相似文献

A new kind of bismuth film modified electrode to sensitively detect trace metal ions based on incorporating highly conductive ionic liquids 1‐butyl‐3‐methyl‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIMPF6) in solid matrices at glassy carbon (GC) was investigated. Poly(sodium 4‐styrenesulfonate) (PSS), silica, and Nafion were selected as the solid matrices. The electrochemical properties of the mixed films modified GC were evaluated. The electron transfer rate of Fe(CN)64?/Fe(CN)63? can be effectively improved at the PSS‐BMIMPF6 modified GC. The bismuth modified PSS‐BMIMPF6 composite film electrodes (GC/PSS‐BMIMPF6/BiFEs) displayed high mechanical stability and sensitive stripping voltammetric performances for the determination of trace metal cations. The GC/PSS‐BMIMPF6/BiFE exhibited well linear response to both Cd(II) and Pb(II) over a concentration range from 1.0 to 50 μg L?1. And the detection limits were 0.07 μg L?1 for Cd(II) and 0.09 μg L?1 for Pb(II) based on three times the standard deviation of the baseline with a preconcentration time of 120 s, respectively. Finally, the GC/PSS‐BMIMPF6/BiFEs were successfully applied to the determination of Cd(II) and Pb(II) in real sample, and the results of present method agreed well with those of atomic absorption spectroscopy.  相似文献

A new enzyme‐based amperometric biosensor for hydrogen peroxide was developed relying on the efficient immobilization of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to a nano‐scaled particulate gold (nano‐Au) film modified glassy carbon electrode (GC). The nano‐Au film was obtained by a chitosan film which was first formed on the surface of GC. The high affinity of chitosan for nano‐Au associated with its amino groups resulted in the formation of nano‐Au film on the surface of GC. The film formed served as an intermediator to retain high efficient and stable immobilization of the enzyme. H2O2 was detected using hydroquinone as an electron mediator to transfer electrons between the electrode and HRP. The HRP immobilized on nano‐Au film maintained excellent electrocatalytical activity to the reduction of H2O2. The experimental parameters such as the operating potential of the working electrode, mediator concentration and pH of background electrolyte were optimized for best analytical performance of amperometry. The linear range of detection for H2O2 is from 6.1×10?6 to 1.8×10?3 mol L?1 with a detection limit of 6.1 μmol L?1 based on signal/noise=3. The proposed HRP enzyme sensor has the features of high sensitivity (0.25 Almol?1cm?2), fast response time (t90%≤10 s) and a long‐term stability (>1 month). As an extension, glucose oxidase (GOD) was chemically bound to HRP‐modified electrode. A GOD/HRP bienzyme‐modified electrode formed in this way can be applied to the determination of glucose with satisfactory performance.  相似文献

A sensitive catalytic adsorptive stripping voltammetric procedure for determination of traces of total chromium in environmental samples is reported. The method is based on the preconcentration of a Cr(III)? H2DTPA complex by adsorption at the HMDE from an acetate buffer solution at the potential ?1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl. Total chromium was determined as Cr(III) after reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) by NaHSO3. In order to stabilize the signal of Cr(III) the measurements were performed at 5 °C. The calibration graph for chromium for an accumulation time of 60 s was linear in the range from 5×10?10 to 5×10?8 mol L?1. The relative standard deviation for a chromium concentration of 1×10?8 mol L?1 was 3.9% (n=5). The detection limit for accumulation time of 60 s was about 8×10?11 mol L?1. The validation of the procedure was performed by the analysis of the certified reference materials.  相似文献

A room temperature ionic liquid (IL) 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate functionalized graphene (GE) was prepared and a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) biosensor was fabricated by immobilizing hemoglobin (Hb) into the IL‐GE composite film. UV‐visible and Fourier transform infrared spectra of the composite film indicated that Hb retained its native structure in the film. Electrochemical investigation of the biosensor showed a pair of well‐defined, quasi‐reversible redox peaks with Epa=?0.209 V and Epc= ?0.302 V (vs. SCE) in pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution at the scan rate of 100 mV/s. To the reduction of H2O2, the biosensor had a good linear range from 8.0×10?7 to 1.8×10?4 mol/L with a detection limit of 3.0×10?7 mol/L. The apparent Michaelis‐Menten constant KappM was estimated to be 3.4×10?5 mol/L.  相似文献
