Let Ω and Π be two finitely connected hyperbolic domains in the complex plane \Bbb C{\Bbb C} and let R(z, Ω) denote the hyperbolic radius of Ω at z and R(w, Π) the hyperbolic radius of Π at w. We consider functions f that are analytic in Ω and such that all values f(z) lie in the domain Π. This set of analytic functions is denoted by A(Ω, Π). We prove among other things that the quantities Cn(W,P) := supf ? A(W,P)supz ? W\frac|f(n)(z)| R(f(z),P)n! (R(z,W))nC_n(\Omega,\Pi)\,:=\,\sup_{f\in A(\Omega,\Pi)}\sup_{z\in \Omega}\frac{\vert f^{(n)}(z)\vert\,R(f(z),\Pi)}{n!\,(R(z,\Omega))^n} are finite for all n ? \Bbb N{n \in {\Bbb N}} if and only if ∂Ω and ∂Π do not contain isolated points.  相似文献

We consider the solvability problem for the equation $f_{\bar z} $ = v(z, f(z))f z , where the function v(z,w) of two variables may be close to unity. Such equations are called quasilinear Beltrami-type equations with ellipticity degeneration. We prove that, under some rather general conditions on v(z,w), the above equation has a regular homeomorphic solution in the Sobolev classW loc 1,1 . Moreover, such solutions f satisfy the inclusion f ?1W loc 1,2 .  相似文献

We are interested in the isometric equivalence problem for the Cesàro operator C(f) (z) = \frac1z ò0zf(x) \frac11-xd x{C(f) (z) =\frac{1}{z} \int_{0}^{z}f(\xi) \frac{1}{1-\xi}d \xi} and an operator Tg(f)(z)=\frac1zò0zf(x) g(x) d x{T_{g}(f)(z)=\frac{1}{z}\int_{0}^{z}f(\xi) g^{\prime}(\xi) d \xi}, where g is an analytic function on the disc, on the Hardy and Bergman spaces. Then we generalize this to the isometric equivalence problem of two operators Tg1{T_{g_{1}}} and Tg2{T_{g_{2}}} on the Hardy space and Bergman space. We show that the operators Tg1{T_{g_{1}}} and Tg2{T_{g_{2}}} satisfy Tg1U1=U2Tg2{T_{g_{1}}U_{1}=U_{2}T_{g_{2}}} on H p , 1 ≤ p < ∞, p ≠ 2 if and only if g2(z) = lg1(eiqz){g_{2}(z) =\lambda g_{1}(e^{i\theta}z) }, where λ is a modulus one constant and U i , i = 1, 2 are surjective isometries of the Hardy Space. This is analogous to the Campbell-Wright result on isometrically equivalence of composition operators on the Hardy space.  相似文献

We consider the weighted Bergman spaces HL2(\mathbb Bd, ml){\mathcal {H}L^{2}(\mathbb {B}^{d}, \mu_{\lambda})}, where we set dml(z) = cl(1-|z|2)l dt(z){d\mu_{\lambda}(z) = c_{\lambda}(1-|z|^2)^{\lambda} d\tau(z)}, with τ being the hyperbolic volume measure. These spaces are nonzero if and only if λ > d. For 0 < λ ≤ d, spaces with the same formula for the reproducing kernel can be defined using a Sobolev-type norm. We define Toeplitz operators on these generalized Bergman spaces and investigate their properties. Specifically, we describe classes of symbols for which the corresponding Toeplitz operators can be defined as bounded operators or as a Hilbert–Schmidt operators on the generalized Bergman spaces.  相似文献

We study algebra classes and divisor classes on a normal affine surface of the form z 2 = f(x, y). The affine coordinate ring is T = k[x, y, z]/(z 2 ? f), and if R = k[x, y][f ?1] and S = R[z]/(z 2 ? f), then S is a quadratic Galois extension of R. If the Galois group is G, we show that the natural map H1(G, Cl(T)) → H1(G, Pic(S)) factors through the relative Brauer group B(S/R) and that all of the maps are onto. Sufficient conditions are given for H1(G, Cl(T)) to be isomorphic to B(S/R). The groups and maps are computed for several examples.  相似文献

Let R(T): = ò1T|z(1+it)|2 dt - z(2)T+plogTR(T):= \int_{1}^{T}|\zeta (1+it)|^{2}\,\mathrm{d}t - \zeta (2)T+\pi\log T. We derive a precise explicit expression for R(t) which is used to derive asymptotic formulas for ò1TR(t) dt\int_{1}^{T}R(t)\,\mathrm{d}t and ò1TR2(t) dt\int_{1}^{T}R^{2}(t)\,\mathrm{d}t. These results improve on earlier upper bounds of Balasubramanian, Ramachandra and the author for the integrals in question.  相似文献

In this paper we prove a quantitative form of Landis’ conjecture in the plane. Precisely, let W(z) be a measurable real vector-valued function and V(z) ≥0 be a real measurable scalar function, satisfying ‖W L (R 2) ≤ 1 and ‖V L (R 2) ≤ 1. Let u be a real solution of Δu ? ?(Wu) ? Vu = 0 in R 2. Assume that u(0) = 1 and |u(z)| ≤exp (C 0|z|). Then u satisfies inf |z 0| =R  sup |z?z 0| <1|u(z)| ≥exp (?CRlog R), where C depends on C 0. In addition to the case of the whole plane, we also establish a quantitative form of Landis’ conjecture defined in an exterior domain.  相似文献

Let TR be the class of functions that are regular and typically real in the disk E={z:⋱z⋱<1}. For this class, the region of values of the system {f(z0), f(r)} for z0 ∈ ℝ, r∈(-1,1) is studied. The sets Dr={f(z0):f∈TR, f(r)=a} for −1≤r≤1 and Δr={(c2, c3): f ∈ TR, −f(−r)=a} for 0<r≤1 are found, where aε(r(1+r)−2, r(1−r)−2) is an arbitrary fixed number. Bibliography: 11 titles. Let Mn denote the algebra of all nxn complex matrices. For a given q?C with ∣Q∣≤1, we define and denote the q-numerical range of A?Mn by

Wq (A)={x ? Ay:x,y?C n , x ? x?y ? y=1,x ? y=q }

The q-numerical radius is then given by rq (A)=sup{∣z∣:z?W q (A)}. When q=1,W q (A) and r q (A) reduce to the classical numerical range of A and the classical numerical radius of A, respectively. when q≠0, another interesting quantity associated with W q (A) is the inner q-numerical radius defined by [rtilde] q (A)=inf{∣z∣:z?W q (A)}

In this paper, we describe some basic properties of W q (A), extending known results on the classical numerical range. We also study the properties of rq considered as a norm (seminorm if q=0) on Mn .Finally, we characterize those linear operators L on Mn that leave Wq ,rq of [rtilde]q invariant. Extension of some of our results to the infinite dimensional case is discussed, and open problems are mentioned.  相似文献

The subfamilyR(p, Ω) of the class of second order, uniformly elliptic, non variational operators L with bounded measurable coefficients, such that L(W2, p (Ω)) is dense in Lp (Ω), is studied. Sufficient and necessary and sufficient conditions are given, for L to belong toR(p, Ω). An operator L of the class above and not inR(p, Ω) is constructed. For given analytic functions ϕ(z) = z + Σ n=2 λ n z n , Ψ(z) = z + Σ n=2 μ with λ n ≥ 0, μ n ≥ 0, and λ n ≥ μ n and for α, β (0≤α<1, 0<β≤1), let E(φ,ψ; α, β) be of analytic functions ƒ(z) = z + Σ n=2 a n z n in U such that f(z)*ψ(z)≠0 and
for z∈U; here, * denotes the Hadamard product. Let T be the class of functions ƒ(z) = z - Σ n=2|a n | that are analytic and univalent in U, and let E T (φ,ψ;α,β)=E(φ,ψ;α,β)∩T. Coefficient estimates, extreme points, distortion properties, etc. are determined for the class E T (φ,ψ;α,β) in the case where the second coefficient is fixed. The results thus obtained, for particular choices of φ(z) and ψ(z), not only generalize various known results but also give rise to several new results. University of Bahrain, Isa Town, Bahrain. Let K be a complete ultrametric algebraically closed field and let ?(d(0, R?)) be the field of meromorphic functions inside the disk d(0,R) = {xK ∣ ∣x∣ < R}. Let ?b(d(0, R?)) be the subfield of bounded meromorphic functions inside d(0,R) and let ?u(d(0, R?)) = ?(d(0, R?)) ? ?b(d(0, R?)) be the subset of unbounded meromorphic functions inside d(0,R). Initially, we consider the Yosida Equation: , where m ∈ ?* and F(X) is a rational function of degree d with coefficients in ?b(d(0, R?)). We show that, if d ≥ 2m + 1, this equation has no solution in ?u(d(0, R?)).Next, we examine solutions of the above equation when F(X) is apolynomial with constant coefficients and show that it has no unbounded analytic functions in d(0,R). Further, we list the only cases when the equation may eventually admit solutions in ?u(d(0, R?)). Particularly, the elliptic equation may not.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider massless Dirac fields propagating in the outer region of de Sitter–Reissner–Nordstr?m black holes. We show that the metric of such black holes is uniquely determined by the partial knowledge of the corresponding scattering matrix S(λ) at a fixed energy λ ≠ 0. More precisely, we consider the partial wave scattering matrices S(λ, n) (here λ ≠ 0 is the fixed energy and n ? \mathbbN*{n \in \mathbb{N}^{*}} denotes the angular momentum) defined as the restrictions of the full scattering matrix on a well chosen basis of spin-weighted spherical harmonics. We prove that the mass M, the square of the charge Q 2 and the cosmological constant Λ of a dS-RN black hole (and thus its metric) can be uniquely determined from the knowledge of either the transmission coefficients T(λ, n), or the reflexion coefficients R(λ, n) (resp. L(λ, n)), for all n ? L{n \in {\mathcal{L}}} where L{\mathcal{L}} is a subset of \mathbbN*{\mathbb{N}^{*}} that satisfies the Müntz condition ?n ? L\frac1n = +¥{\sum_{n \in{\mathcal{L}}}\frac{1}{n} = +\infty} . Our main tool consists in complexifying the angular momentum n and in studying the analytic properties of the “unphysical” scattering matrix S(λ, z) in the complex variable z. We show, in particular, that the quantities \frac1T(l,z){\frac{1}{T(\lambda,z)}}, \fracR(l,z)T(l,z){\frac{R(\lambda,z)}{T(\lambda,z)}} and \fracL(l,z)T(l,z){\frac{L(\lambda,z)}{T(\lambda,z)}} belong to the Nevanlinna class in the region ${\{z \in \mathbb{C}, Re(z) > 0 \}}${\{z \in \mathbb{C}, Re(z) > 0 \}} for which we have analytic uniqueness theorems at our disposal. Eventually, as a by-product of our method, we obtain reconstruction formulae for the surface gravities of the event and cosmological horizons of the black hole which have an important physical meaning in the Hawking effect.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a second-order functional differential equation of the form x″(z) = x(az + bx(z)). By constructing a convergent power series solution of an auxiliary equation of the form α2y″ (αz) y′ (z) = αy′(z)y″(z)+(y′(z))3[y(α2z)?ay(αz)], analytic solutions of the form (y(αyt - 1(z)) ? az)/b for the original differential equation are obtained.  相似文献

Extending a result of Meyer and Reisner (Monatsh Math 125:219–227, 1998), we prove that if g: \mathbbR? \mathbbR+{g: \mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}_+} is a function which is concave on its support, then for every m > 0 and every z ? \mathbbR{z\in\mathbb{R}} such that g(z) > 0, one has

We consider the Bessel functions J ν (z) and Y ν (z) for R ν > ?1/2 and R z ≥ 0. We derive a convergent expansion of J ν (z) in terms of the derivatives of \((\sin z)/z\), and a convergent expansion of Y ν (z) in terms of derivatives of \((1-\cos z)/z\), derivatives of (1 ? e ?z )/z and Γ(2ν, z). Both expansions hold uniformly in z in any fixed horizontal strip and are accompanied by error bounds. The accuracy of the approximations is illustrated with some numerical experiments.  相似文献
