(1+1)维光折变亮屏蔽孤子相互作用的数值分析   总被引:9,自引:6,他引:3

利用束传播法对(1+1)维光折变亮屏蔽孤子间的相互作用进行了详细地数值模拟研究.结果表明:两同相孤子相互吸引,并伴有孤子融合现象,且孤子融合发生时的作用距离随着孤子初始间距的增大而增大;两反相孤子相互排斥,且排斥作用随着孤子初始间距的减小而增强;当两孤子的相位差位于区间(0,π)和(-π,0)中时,其相互作用过程将伴有能量转移,但两区间内能量转移的方向相反,并表现出反转对称性;由于孤子间的距离和相对相位对孤子间的相互作用均有很大的影响,因此多个孤子间的相互作用过程非常复杂,但可以通过分析相邻孤子间的相互作用对其进行定性的预测.  相似文献

We demonstrate coherent interactions between spatial gap solitons in optically induced photonic lattices. Because of the "staggered" phase structures, two in-phase (out-of-phase) bright gap solitons can repel (attract) each other at close proximity, in contrast to soliton interaction in homogeneous media. A reversal of energy transfer direction and a transition between attractive and repulsive interaction forces can be obtained solely by changing the initial soliton separation relative to the lattice spacing.  相似文献

<正>The existence of one-dimensional bright Kerr solitons is investigated in Kerr media beyond the paraxial approximation. It is found that a nonparaxial soliton with no less than a minimum dimensionless width of about 0.76 can exist, which corresponds to the real width about a wavelength.Besides,the coherent interactions between two nonparaxial bright solitons in Kerr media are also investigated in detail.It is found that their separation and intensity ratio have great influence on the coherent interaction between these two solitons.Furthermore,the effect of the relative phase difference on the nonparaxial interaction is quite different from that on the paraxial interaction.Periodical breath, merging,repulsion,and energy transferring can be realized separately by choosing an appropriate initial relative phase between the coherent solitons.  相似文献

采用Petviashvili迭代法对光诱导平面波导阵列中的一维离散空间光孤子进行求解,利用分步束传播法对离散空间光孤子间的相干相互作用进行了详细的数值模拟.探讨了离散孤子间的相位差、孤子光强、波导阵列写入光的强度和周期以及外加电场对相互作用过程的影响.结果表明:离散孤子间的相位差对相互作用的影响与连续介质中的情况类似,不同相位差情况下的相互作用也表现为吸引、排斥以及能量转移等现象.同时,离散孤子间的相干相互作用过程(如融合距离和排斥间距等)均会受到孤子光强、波导阵列写入光的强度和周期以及外加电场大小的影响 关键词: 光诱导平面波导阵列 离散空间光孤子 相干相互作用  相似文献

用数值方法分析了多个平行传播一维光伏空间亮孤子之间的相干相互作用.结果表明,同相多个孤子相互作用时,它们不同于两个孤子时的周期性的融合和分开,而是会在整体吸引靠近过程中发生孤子的逐步融合作用.多个孤子相互之间发生能量耦合作用时,可简单归结为三种基本的相互作用模式.而邻近相互反相的多个孤子相互作用时,能保持很好的稳定传播特性,其对形成孤子阵列及阵列波导具有指导意义. 关键词: 光伏空间孤子 多个孤子 相互作用  相似文献

We demonstrate the coherent interactions of lattice soliton trains, including in-band solitons (IBSs) and gap soliton trains (GSTs), in optically induced two-dimensional photonic lattices with self-defocusing nonlinearity. It is revealed that the $\pi$-staggered phase structures of the lattice soliton trains will lead to anomalous interactions. Solely by changing their initial separations, the transition between attractive and repulsive interaction forces or reversion of the energy transfer can be obtained. The `negative refraction' effect of the soliton trains on the interaction is also discussed. Moreover, two interacting IBSs can merge into one GST when attraction or energy transfer happens.  相似文献

The interaction between two (1+1)-dimensional dipole solitons in a weak modulation lattice is studied numerically. Two unstable dipole solitons can form the bound state, and their propagation can be stabilized due to their mutual interaction. The propagation patterns with the interaction are dependent on the interval, relative phase, and input energy of the two dipole solitons. The two poles of the dipole soliton exchanges their energy after the interaction. Under the proper conditions, the interaction force between the two dipole solitons exhibits some properties similar to those between two molecules.  相似文献

The propagation and interaction of nonlocal incoherent white-light solitons in strongly nonlocal kerr media is investigated. Numerical simulations show that the interaction properties of nonlocal incoherent white-light solitons are different from the case in local media. The interactions of nonlocal incoherent white-light solitons are always attractive independent of their relative phase, while the other parameters such as the extent of nonlocality and the input power have a great impact on the soliton interactions. Pertinent numerical examples are presented to show their propagation and interaction behaviour further.  相似文献

Interaction properties of complex solitons are studied for the two U(1)-invariant integrable generalizations of the modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation, given by the Hirota equation and the Sasa-Satsuma equation, which share the same traveling wave (single-soliton) solution having a sech profile characterized by a constant speed and a constant phase angle. For both equations, nonlinear interactions in which a fast soliton collides with a slow soliton are shown to be described by 2-soliton solutions that can have three different types of interaction profile, depending on the speed ratio and the relative phase angle of the individual solitons. In all cases, the shapes and speeds of the solitons are found to be preserved apart from a shift in position such that their center of momentum moves at a constant speed. Moreover, for the Hirota equation, the phase angles of the fast and slow solitons are found to remain unchanged, while, for the Sasa-Satsuma equation, the phase angles are shown to undergo a shift such that the relative phase between the fast and slow solitons changes sign.  相似文献

研究了在强非局域情况下,非局域非线性介质中多个(大于两个)空间孤子相互作用的特点与规律。以Snyder-Mitchell线性模型为理论基础并利用线性叠加原理来构建解。另外,还采用了将孤子作为粒子处理的方法。主要考虑空间斜对称入射的三、四束光的相互作用,从而得出多个空间孤子相互作用的规律。还得出了(1 2)维多孤子相互作用的精确解析解,并且利用解析解画出了多孤子传输过程中的光强分布图。根据解析解发现,多孤子能形成稳定的束缚态向前传输,缠绕与否与初始入射方向有关;作用过程中并无能量转移,且相互作用与初始相位无关。将孤子作为粒子处理得到的孤子相互作用的规律与解析解得出的规律一致。  相似文献

利用微扰变分法研究了光折变屏蔽孤子的相干相互作用,得出了光折变空间屏蔽孤子在晶体中同相相互作用时发生第一次碰撞的位置和碰撞周期解析表达式,并对孤子同相和反相相互作用的物理机制进行了分析.研究结果表明:当两孤子尾部交叠时就会发生相互作用,相互作用力的大小与孤子的相对强度、相对间距以及晶体外加电场的大小有关.孤子的相对强度越大、相对间距越小以及晶体外加电场越强,孤子间相互作用力越大;相互作用力的性质与初始相位差有关,同相相互吸引,反相相互排斥.  相似文献

 通过数值模拟的方法,对高斯孤子在对数型饱和非线性介质中的相互作用进行了研究,考查了两光束间的相对振幅和相对相位对其相互作用的影响。结果表明:高斯孤子之间的相互作用敏感地依赖于两光束间的相对振幅和相对相位。在不同的振幅差异范围内,光束间的主要作用交替地表现为相互排斥和相互吸引,并由于高斯孤子的不稳定性,导致了光束在碰撞后以一种尺寸周期性变化的呼吸模式传输。随着相对相位的增大,两光束间始终持续地表现出强烈的排斥作用,直到相对相位增加到一个2π周期之后。而且碰撞之后,光束也都以呼吸模式进行传输,其分离的角度越大,呼吸就越明显。  相似文献

Under investigation in this paper is a fifth-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation, which describes the propagation of attosecond pulses in an optical fiber. Based on the Lax pair, infinitely-many conservation laws are derived. With the aid of auxiliary functions, bilinear forms, one-, two- and three-soliton solutions in analytic forms are generated via the Hirota method and symbolic computation. Soliton velocity varies linearly with the coefficients of the high-order terms. Head-on interaction between the bidirectional two solitons and overtaking interaction between the unidirectional two solitons as well as the bound state are depicted. For the interactions among the three solitons, two head-on and one overtaking interactions, three overtaking interactions, an interaction between a bound state and a single soliton and the bound state are displayed. Graphical analysis shows that the interactions between the two solitons are elastic, and interactions among the three solitons are pairwise elastic. Stability analysis yields the modulation instability condition for the soliton solutions.  相似文献

We formulate the theory describing the evolution and interactions between optical spatial solitons that propagate in opposite directions. We show that coherent collisions between counterpropagating solitons give rise to a new focusing mechanism resulting from the interference between the beams, and that interactions between such solitons are insensitive to the relative phase between the beams.  相似文献

基于相干密度理论,数值地研究了在饱和对数非线性介质中多个部分非相干光空间孤子之间的相互作用. 数值结果表明,在非相干参量较小情况下,非相干光孤子的相互作用与相干光孤子的相互作用规律较类似. 当非相干参量较大时,强的非相干性模糊了孤子之间的相位关系,孤子间的相互作用主要以非相干相互吸引作用为主. 特别是在非相干参量较大而且孤子初始相对相位差为π的情况下,多个部分非相干光孤子可并行传播形成稳定的阵列孤子. 利用多个非相干光孤子的不同相互作用形态写入各种阵列波导,为实现光控制光、导向光提供了一种可能性. 关键词: 多个部分非相干光空间孤子 空间光孤子的相互作用 相干密度理论 饱和对数非线性  相似文献

The theory of magnetic ball solitons (BS) arising as a result of the energy fluctuations, at the spin–flop transition induced by a magnetic field in antiferromagnets with uniaxial anisotropy, is presented. Such solitons are possible in a wide range of amplitudes and energies, including the negative energy relative to an initial condition. When such antiferromagnet is in a metastable condition, ball solitons are born with the greatest probability if the energy of solitons is close to zero. Evolution of these solitons, at which they develop into macroscopic domains of a new magnetic phase, is analyzed, thus, carrying out full phase reorganization.  相似文献

We investigate the propagation and interaction of solitons associated with circularly polarized vibrations in gyrotropic media. The chirality of the structure yields different dispersion laws and hence different phase and group velocities for the left- and right-handed modes. The helical arrangement of the monomers is modelled through first- and third-neighbour interactions. The dynamics of the excitations is governed by a system of coupled discrete nonlinear Schr?dinger equations which is studied both analytically and numerically. Depending on the initial conditions and the interaction constants, different evolutionary patterns are obtained corresponding to unbound or bound one- and two-soliton solutions. The results can be applied to the process of energy transfer in helical polymers. This paper investigates the adjacent interactions of three novel solitons for the quintic complex Ginzburg--Landau equation, which are plain pulsating, erupting and creeping solitons. It is found that different performances are presented for different solitons due to isolated regions of the parameter space where they exist. For example, plain pulsating and erupting solitons exhibit mutual annihilation during collisions with the decrease of total energy, but for creeping soliton, the two adjacent pulses present soliton fusion without any loss of energy. Otherwise, the method for restraining the interactions is also found and it can suppress interactions between these two adjacent pulses effectively.  相似文献

We report the observation of collisions between one-dimensional bright photorefractive screening solitons in a planar strontium–barium niobate waveguide. By means of the Weiss–Tabor–Carnevale (WTC) truncation method and the general variable separation approach (GVSA), analytical investigation of the integrable (2+1)-dimensional higher-order Broer–Kaup (HBK) system shows, due to the possibility of selecting three arbitrary func.tions, the existence of interacting coherent excitations such as dromions, solitons, periodic solitons, etc. The interaction between some of the localized solutions are elastic because they pass through each other and preserve their shapes and velocities, the only change being the phase shift. However, as for some soliton models, completely non-elastic interactions have been found in this model. These non-elastic interactions are characterized by the fact that, at a specific time, one soliton may fission to two or more solitons; or on the contrary, two or more solitons will fuse to one soliton.  相似文献
