为了研究大气湍流对高斯涡旋光束传递信息的影响,理论分析了经过大气湍流的高斯涡旋光束轨道角动量(OAM)模式的径向平均功率和归一化平均功率分布、固有模式指数、初始光束半径和湍流强度;采用纯相位扰动逼近的有效性,数值模拟高斯涡旋光束在传输中的OAM模式径向平均功率分布的变化。建立传输模型并进行外场激光大气传输实验,对比分析了模拟和实测的OAM归一化平均功率分布,结果表明在弱湍流条件下,OAM模式的径向平均功率随着接收器孔径尺寸的增加而变化,逐渐趋于稳定值。对于一般常用的接收孔径,在强湍流或较小的初始光束半径条件下对OAM模式干扰十分严重。验证了用数值方法模拟OAM在湍流介质中的模式变化过程的可靠性。 相似文献

The influence of turbulence on the spectrum of diffracted chirped Gaussian pulsed beams is studied in detail. By using the quadratic approximation of the Rytov’s phase structure function and the finite expansion of the aperture function, the analytical expression for the spectrum of diffracted chirped Gaussian pulsed beams propagating through atmospheric turbulence is derived. It is shown that in free space there exist the on-axis and off-axis multi-spectral switch for diffracted chirped Gaussian pulsed beams. However, the turbulence results in a decrease of the spectral transition height, and the spectral switch even disappears when the turbulence is strong enough, which is very different from the behavior of undiffracted chirped Gaussian pulsed beams. Specially, with increasing the strength of turbulence, the higher-order spectral switch disappears firstly for on-axis case, while the lower-order spectral switch disappears firstly for off-axis case. In free space the on-axis spectrum is blue-shifted after a certain propagation distance, but the on-axis spectrum is red-shifted after a shorter propagation distance when the turbulence is strong enough. The spectral transition height increases with increasing the chirp parameter and decreasing the pulse duration, and the odd number order position without spectral shift is independent of the chirp parameter and pulse duration. 相似文献

Using the extended Huygens-Fresnel principle and the quadratic approximation of the phase structure function, and taking the Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) vortex beam as a typical example of partially coherent vortex beams, the explicit expressions for the cross-spectral density function and average intensity of GSM vortex beams with topological charge m=+1 propagating through slant atmospheric turbulence are derived, and used to study the propagation properties of GSM vortex beams in atmospheric turbulence along a slant path and evolution behavior of coherence vortices. It is shown that the spreading of GSM vortex beams along a horizontal path is larger than that along a slant path in the long atmospheric propagation. The propagation through horizontal atmospheric turbulence can be treated as a special case of the altitude-independent structure constant. The position of coherence vortices in slant atmospheric turbulence does not coincide with that in horizontal atmospheric turbulence, and the dependence of position of coherence vortices on the zenith angle, wavelength and reference point is illustrated by numerical examples. 一些实验表明, 实际大气会偏离理想Kolmogorov模型. 本文基于广义Huygens-Fresnel原理和Toselli等提出的非Kolmogorov湍流模型, 推导出部分相干双曲正弦-Gauss (HSG)涡旋光束通过非Kolmogorov大气湍流的解析传输公式, 并用以对两束部分相干HSG涡旋光束相干叠加和非相干叠加形成的合成相干涡旋在非Kolmogorov大气湍流中的动态演化进行了研究. 结果表明, 合成光束平均光强的演化过程与非Kolmogorov湍流的广义指数α, 源平面上叠加涡旋光束拓扑电荷的符号, 以及叠加方式有关. 合成相干涡旋在非Kolmogorov大气湍流中传输时会出现移动、产生和湮灭. 广义指数α, 拓扑电荷符号, 以及叠加方式都会影响其演化行为. 最后, 将本文所得结果与相关文献做了比较. 相似文献

The explicit far-field expressions for the TE and TM terms and energy flux distributions of electromagnetic elliptical Gaussian vortex beams are derived and their far-field properties including the phase singularities and energy flux distributions of the TE and TM terms and whole beam are studied in detail. It is shown that there exist two edge dislocations. The number and position of edge dislocations and energy flux distributions are dependent on the amplitude ratio and waist width ratio of electromagnetic elliptical Gaussian vortex beams. Taking the Gaussian background vortex beam with topological charge +2 as a typical example, a closed-form expression for vortex Gaussian beams passing through a half-plane screen is derived and used to study the propagation dynamics of on-axis and off-axis vortex diffracted beams, and to compare with the case of the free-space propagation. It is shown that there may exist many phase singularities or no phase singularity of vortex diffracted Gaussian beams in the diffraction field. Number and position of phase singularities are dependent on the vortex position at the source plane and propagation distance. The creation, motion and annihilation of phase singularities in the diffraction field may appear by varying the vortex position and propagation distance. 相似文献

研究了一维(1D)线阵离轴高斯光束通过湍流大气的传输特性,推导出了其光强传输方程. 研究表明,1D线阵离轴高斯光束通过湍流大气传输经历了三个阶段,即在近场其光强分布为类似于入射光的锯齿状分布,随着传输距离的增加逐渐变为平顶分布,最后在远场成为类高斯分布. 湍流的增强会使光束传输经历三阶段的进程加快. 并且,湍流使得不同子光束数的1D线阵离轴高斯光束的归一化光强分布相接近. 此外,子光束数越多的1D线阵离轴高斯光束受到湍流的影响越小;1D线阵离轴高斯光束较高斯光束受到湍流的影响要小.

Long-distance propagation of pseudo-partially coherent Gaussian Schell-model beams in atmospheric turbulence 下载免费PDF全文
Propagation properties of spatially pseudo-partially coherent Gaussian Schell-model beams through the atmo- spheric turbulence over a long-distance uplink path are studied by numerical simulation. A linear coordination trans-formation is introduced to overcome the window effect and the loss-of-resolution problem. The beam spreading, beam wandering, and intensity scintillation as functions of turbulence strength, source correlation length, and change frequency of random phase that models the partial coherence of the source are analyzed. It is found that the beam spreading and the intensity scintillation of the partially coherent beam are less affected by the turbulence than those of the coherent one, but it suffers from a more severe diffractive effect, and the change frequency of random phase has no evident influence on it. The beam wandering is insensitive to the variation of source correlation length, and decreases firstly then goes to a fixed value as the change frequency increases. 相似文献

The analytical expressions for the effective Rayleigh range zR of Gaussian array beams in turbulence for both coherent and incoherent combinations are derived. It is shown that zR of Gaussian array beams propagating through atmospheric turbulence depends on the strength of turbulence, the array beam parameters and the type of beam combination. For the coherent combination zR decreases due to turbulence. However, for the incoherent combination there exists a maximum of zR as the strength of turbulence varies. The zR of coherently combined Gaussian array beams is larger than that of incoherently combined Gaussian array beams, but for the coherent combination case zR is more sensitive to turbulence than that for the incoherent combination case. The larger the beam number is, the longer zR is, and the more zR is affected by turbulence. For the coherent combination zR is not monotonic versus the relative beam separation distance, and the effect of turbulence on zR is appreciable within a certain range of the relative beam separation distance. 相似文献

The propagation dynamics of the Airy Gaussian vortex beams in uniaxial crystals orthogonal to the optical axis has been investigated analytically and numerically. The propagation expression of the beams has been obtained. The propagation features of the Airy Gaussian vortex beams are shown with changes of the distribution factor and the ratio of the extraordinary refractive index to the ordinary refractive index. 研究了湍流对离轴列阵高斯光束相干与非相干合成的影响.推导出了相干合成光束的传输方程.采用二阶矩束宽、桶中功率和参数β作为光束质量评价参数比较了离轴列阵高斯光束通过湍流大气的相干与非相干合成,并对主要结果给予了合理的物理解释.研究表明:一方面,不论是相干合成还是非相干合成,湍流都使得合成光束扩展、峰值光强下降,并且子光束数越多,合成光束受湍流影响就越小.另一方面,非相干合成光束较相干合成光束受到湍流的影响要小.
