We investigate the anisotropic magnetic transports in topological semimetal TaSb2. The compound shows the large magnetoresistance(MR) without saturation and the metal-insulator-like transition no matter whether the magnetic field is parallel to c-axis or a-axis, except that the MR for B‖c is almost twice as large as that of B‖a at low temperatures. The adopted Kohler's rule can be obeyed by the MR at distinct temperatures for B‖c,but it is slightly violated as B‖a. The angle-dependent MR measurements exhibit the two-fold rotational symmetry below70 K,consistent with the monoclinic crystal structure of TaSb2. The dumbbell-like picture of angle-dependent MR in TaSb2 suggests a strongly anisotropic Fermi surface at low temperatures. However, it finally loses the two-fold symmetry over 70 K, implying a possible topological phase transition at around the temperature where Tm is related to a metal-insulator-like transition under magnetic fields. 相似文献

Topological semimetals are a new type of matter with one-dimensional Fermi lines or zero-dimensional Weyl or Dirac points in momentum space. Here using first-principles calculations, we find that the non-centrosymmetric PbTaS2 is a topological nodal line semimetal. In the absence of spin-orbit coupling(SOC), one band inversion happens around a high symmetrical H point, which leads to forming a nodal line. The nodal line is robust and protected against gap opening by mirror reflection symmetry even with the inclusion of strong SOC. In addition, it also hosts exotic drumhead surface states either inside or outside the projected nodal ring depending on surface termination. The robust bulk nodal lines and drumhead-like surface states with SOC in PbTaS_2 make it a potential candidate material for exploring the freakish properties of the topological nodal line fermions in condensed matter systems. 相似文献

用分子束外延(MBE)的方法在c面蓝宝石衬底上生长出了高质量的ZnO单晶薄膜和BexZn1-xO合金薄膜。X射线光电子能谱(XPS)测试结果表明,合金材料中Be元素的摩尔分数分别为1.8%、4.9%、8.0%和15.3%。在此基础上制备了ZnO基和BexZn1-xO基的金属-半导体-金属(MSM)结构紫外探测器。ZnO单晶探测器的响应波长为375nm,在1V电压下,350nm处的光响应度高达43A/W,光电流和暗电流之比达到105量级。在BexZn1-xO基紫外探测器中,其截止响应波长随着合金中Be含量的增加逐渐蓝移,其中Be0.153-Zn0.847O合金探测器的截止响应波长为366nm,紫外波段和可见波段的光电流之比达到2~3个数量级,具有良好的信噪比。此外,提出了氧气等离子体表面处理降低探测器暗电流的方法,并使ZnO单晶探测器的暗电流降低了4个数量级。 相似文献

We propose that the hexagonal crystal form of MoC is a stable and new type of topological semimetal. It hosts an exotic Fermi surface consisting of two concentric nodal rings in the presence of spin-orbit coupling, and possesses four pairs of triply degenerate points(TDPs) in the vicinity of the Fermi energy. The coexistence of the nodal ring Fermi surface and TDPs in MoC leads to extraordinary properties such as distinguishable drumhead surface states and manipulatable new fermions, which make MoC a fertile platform for in-depth understanding of topological phenomena and a potential candidate material for topological electronic devices. 相似文献

采用场发射扫描电子显微镜(FESEM),研究了铁基金属包膜界面及其断面的精细结构。结果表明:包膜(100)界面有纳米级的棱锥状突起,包膜(111)界面上分布着锯齿状的台阶;金属包膜近触媒侧的界面断面表层分布着台阶形貌的胞状突起;断面其它断层断口呈现脆性断裂特征,断层表面分布着团簇状的纳米颗粒。分析认为:包膜界面的不同形貌与片状金刚石结晶基元的不同生长过程有关;由于包膜内脆性碳化物的存在,包膜断面呈现脆性断口特征;断面上分布的纳米级颗粒可能是金属成分的共晶析出产物。 相似文献

We report on the single crystal growth and superconducting properties of PbTaSe_2 with the non-centrosymmetric crystal structure.By using the chemical vapor transport technique,centimeter-size single crystals are successfully obtained.The measurement of temperature dependence of electrical resistivity p(T) in both normal and superconducting states indicates a quasi-two-dimensional electronic state in contrast to that of polycrystalline samples.Specific heat C(T) measurement reveals a bulk superconductivity with T_c≌3.75 K and a specific heat jump ratio of 1.42.All these results are in agreement with a moderately electron-phonon coupled,type-ⅡBardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer superconductor. 相似文献

Growth of high-quality single crystals is of great significance for research of condensed matter physics. The exploration of suitable growing conditions for single crystals is expensive and time-consuming, especially for ternary compounds because of the lack of ternary phase diagram. Here we use machine learning(ML) trained on our experimental data to predict and instruct the growth. Four kinds of ML methods, including support vector machine(SVM), decision tree, random forest and gradient boosting decision tree, are adopted. The SVM method is relatively stable and works well, with an accuracy of 81% in predicting experimental results. By comparison,the accuracy of laboratory reaches 36%. The decision tree model is also used to reveal which features will take critical roles in growing processes. 相似文献

We report a new diamond synthesis process in which cubic boron nitride single crystals are used as seeds, FesoNi20 alloy powder is used as catalyst/solvent and natural flake-like graphite is used as the carbon source. The samples are investigated using laser Raman spectra and x-ray diffraction (XRD). Morphology of the sample is observed by a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Based on the measurement results, we conclude that diamond single crystals have grown on the cBN crystal seeds under the conditions of high temperature 1230℃ and high pressure 4.8 GPa. This work provides an original method for synthesis of high quality hereto-semiconductor with cBN and diamond single crystals, and paves the way for future development. 相似文献

A topological theory of liquid crystal films in the presence of defects is developed based on the Ф-mapping topological current theory. By generalizing the free-energy density in "one-constant" approximation, a covariant free- energy density is obtained, from which the U(1) gauge field and the unified topological current for monopoles and strings in liquid crystals are derived. The inner topological structure of these topological defects is characterized by the winding numbers of Ф-mapping. 相似文献
