Sodium bis[2‐(3′,6′,9′‐trioxadecyl)‐1,2‐dicarba‐closo‐dodecaborane‐1‐carboxylato]triphenylstannate, [(CH3OCH2CH2OCH2CH2OCH2CH2)‐1,2‐C2B10H10‐9‐COO)2SnPh3]? Na+, compound 1, was synthesized by the 1:1 condensation of triphenyltin(IV) hydroxide with 2‐(3′,6′,9′‐trioxadecyl)‐1,2‐dicarba‐closo‐dodecaborane‐1‐carboxylic acid and crystallized in the presence of sodium bicarbonate. Its structure was determined by spectroscopy, elemental analysis and X‐ray diffraction. The structure of 1 consists of trigonal bipyramidal [Sn(Ph)3(L)2]? anions and Na+ cations coordinated by oxygen atoms of polyoxaalkyl chains of different stannate anions, forming cation–anion chains elongated along the c axis. Compound 1 is significantly more active in vitro against seven tumour cell lines of human origin than 5‐fluorouracil, cis‐platin, carboplatin, and previously reported organotin carboranecarboxylates, but is less active than organotin polyoxaalkylcarboxylates. Ten dialkyldithiophosphate derivatives of phenylbismuth(III) of the type, Ph(3–n)Bi[S(S)P(OR)2]n [where n = 1; R = Me( 1 ), Et( 2 ), Pri( 3 ), Prn( 4 ) and Bun( 5 ); n = 2; R = Me( 6 ), Et( 7 ), Pri( 8 ), Prn( 9 ) and Bun( 10 )] have been synthesized by the reactions of triphenylbismuth(III) with corresponding dialkyldithiophosphoric acids in 1:1 and 1:2 stoichiometric ratios, respectively, in stirred benzene solution. The newly synthesized brown colored compounds, 1–10 have been characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight measurements, IR and NMR (1H, 13C and 31P) spectral studies. The ligand diethyldithiophosphoric acid, [(C2H5O)2P(S)SH], and its organobismuth(III) derivatives, compounds 2 and 7 were administered to adult male rats by oral gavage at the dose of 25 mg per kg body weight per day, for 60 days, and their effects were evaluated and compared for changes in testicular morphology, circulatory concentrations of testosterone, FSH and LH, sperm dynamics, fertility index and testicular cell population dynamics. This article presents the synthesis of three new 4‐thiopyrimidine derivatives obtained from ethyl 4‐methyl‐2‐phenyl‐6‐sulfanylpyrimidine‐5‐carboxylate as the starting material, namely, ethyl 4‐[(4‐chlorobenzyl)sulfanyl]‐6‐methyl‐2‐phenylpyrimidine‐5‐carboxylate, C21H19ClN2O2S, ( 2 ), {4‐[(4‐chlorobenzyl)sulfanyl]‐6‐methyl‐2‐phenylpyrimidin‐5‐yl}methanol, C19H17ClN2OS, ( 3 ), and 4‐[(4‐chlorobenzyl)sulfanyl]‐5,6‐dimethyl‐2‐phenylpyrimidine, C19H17ClN2S, ( 4 ), which vary in the substituent at the 5‐position of the pyrimidine ring. The compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR and mass spectroscopies, and also elemental analysis. The molecular structures were further studied by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Compound ( 2 ) crystallizes in the space group P with one molecule in the asymmetric unit, whereas compounds ( 3 ) and ( 4 ) crystallize in the space group P21/c with two and one molecule, respectively, in their asymmetric units. The conformation of each molecule is best defined by the dihedral angles formed between the pyrimidine ring and the planes of the two aryl substituents attached at the 2‐ and 4‐positions. The only structural difference between the three compounds is the substituent at the 5‐position of the pyrimidine ring, but they present significantly different features in the hydrogen‐bond interactions. Compound ( 2 ) displays a one‐dimensional chain formed by hydrogen bonds and the chains are further extended into a two‐dimensional network. Molecules of ( 3 ) and ( 4 ) generate one‐dimensional chains formed through intermolecular interactions. The study examines the cytotoxicity of compounds ( 3 ) and ( 4 ) against Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) and HeLa, K562 and CFPAC cancer cell lines. The presence of the hydroxymethyl and methyl groups in ( 3 ) and ( 4 ), respectively, offers an interesting new insight into the structures and behaviour of these derivatives. Compound ( 4 ) was found to be nontoxic against CFPAC and HUVEC; however, it shows weak activity against the HeLa and K563 cell lines. The presence of a hydroxy group in ( 3 ) significantly increases its cytotoxicity towards both, i.e. the cancer (HeLa, K562 and CFPAC) and normal (HUVEC) cell lines. 相似文献

A series of novel tetraphenylantimony derivatives of exo‐7‐oxa‐bicyclo[2,2,1] heptane (ene)‐3‐arylamide‐2‐acid of the general formula Ph4SbO2CCHCHCH2CH2CH(O)HCONHAr (Ar = Ph,4‐ClC6H4, 4‐BrC6H4, 3‐BrC6H4, 4‐F‐3‐ClC6H3 and 4‐MeC6H4) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and mass spectra. The crystal structure of Ph4SbO2CCHCHCH2CH2CH(O)HCONHC6H4CH3·CHCl3 was determined by X‐ray diffraction. Five human neoplastic cell lines (HL‐60, KB, Bel‐7402, BGC‐823 and HCT‐8) were used to screen these compounds. Three tin(IV) complexes of 2‐benzoylpyridine N(4)‐phenylthiosemicarbazone (H2Bz4Ph) were prepared: [Sn(L)Cl3] (1), [BuSn(L)Cl2] (2) and [(Bu)2Sn(L)Cl] (3), in which L stands for the anionic ligand formed upon complexation with deprotonation and release of HCl. The complexes were characterized by a number of spectroscopic techniques. The crystal structures of H2Bz4Ph and complex 3 were determined. The antifungal activity of the ligand and its tin(IV) complexes was tested against Candida albicans. The thiosemicarbazone proved to be more active than the tin(IV) complexes. Two new dinuclear phenyltin(IV) complexes derived from N,N′‐bis(2‐hydroxybenzyl)‐1,2‐ethanebis(dithiocarbamate) ligand, [2‐HOC6H4CH2N(CS2SnPh3)CH2]2 ( 1 ) and [2‐HOC6H4CH2N(CS2SnClPh2)CH2]2 ( 2 ) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectra. The crystal structures of complexes 1 and 2 were determined by X‐ray single crystal diffraction and show that the dithiocarbamate ligand is coordinated to the tin atom in the anisobidentate manner and the tin atom is five‐coordinated. The coordination geometry of tin atom is best described as an intermediate between trigonal bipyramidal and square pyramidal with τ‐values of 0.63 and 0.53, respectively. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds (O H···S and O H···Cl) in 1 and 2 connect neighboring molecules into a one‐dimensional supramolecular chain with the centrosymmetric cyclic motifs. Complex 1 has potent in vitro cytotoxic activity against two human tumor cell lines, CoLo205 and Bcap37, while complex 2 displays weak cytotoxic activity. Di-n-butyltin oxide reacted with p-[N,N-bis(2-chloroethyl)amino]benzoic acid to yield the compounds {{4-[(ClCH2CH2)2N]C6H4COOSnBu2}2O}2 (1) and {4-[(ClCH2CH2)2N]C6H4COO}2SnBu2 (2), which have been characterized by IR and ^1H NMR spectra. The X-ray diffractional studies of 1 reveal the structure of the molecule to be a dimer, in which the two Bu2Sn groups were linked via two bridging oxygen atoms to form a central Bu4Sn2O2 unit. And the tin atom adopts two carbons from two n-butyl groups and three oxygen atoms from the acid and the bridging oxygen. In vitro test showed compound 1 to exhibit high cytotoxicity against P388 and HL-60 cell lines. 相似文献

(1RS,2SR,3RS,4SR,5RS)‐2,4‐Dibenzoyl‐1,3,5‐triphenylcyclohexan‐1‐ol or (4‐hydroxy‐2,4,6‐triphenylcyclohexane‐1,3‐diyl)bis(phenylmethanone), C38H32O3, (1), is formed as a by‐product in the NaOH‐catalyzed synthesis of 1,3,5‐triphenylpentane‐1,5‐dione from acetophenone and benzaldehyde. Single crystals of the chloroform hemisolvate, C38H32O3·0.5CHCl3, were grown from chloroform. The structure has triclinic (P) symmetry. One diastereomer [as a pair of (1RS,2SR,3RS,4SR,5RS)‐enantiomers] of (1) has been found in the crystal structure and confirmed by NMR studies. The dichoromethane hemisolvate has been reported previously [Zhang et al. (2007). Acta Cryst. E 63 , o4652]. (1RS,2SR,3RS,4SR,5RS)‐2,4‐Dibenzoyl‐3,5‐bis(2‐methoxyphenyl)‐1‐phenylcyclohexan‐1‐ol or [4‐hydroxy‐2,6‐bis(2‐methoxyphenyl)‐4‐phenylcyclohexane‐1,3‐diyl]bis(phenylmethanone), C40H36O5, (2), is also formed as a by‐product, under the same conditions, from acetophenone and 2‐methoxybenzaldehyde. Crystals of (2) have been grown from chloroform. The structure has orthorhombic (Pca21) symmetry. A diastereomer of (2) possesses the same configuration as (1). In both structures, the cyclohexane ring adopts a chair conformation with all bulky groups (benzoyl, phenyl and 2‐methoxyphenyl) in equatorial positions. The dibutyltin(IV) oxide complex reacts with 5‐fluorouracil‐l‐propanonic or5‐fluorouracil‐1‐acetic acid to give the potential antitumor activity complexes [(5‐fluorouracil)‐1‐(CH2)mCOOSn(Bu‐n)2]4O2[m = 1, (1); m = 2, (2)] which were determined by IR and 1H NMR. The crystal structure determination shows that complex 2 is a dimmer, in which two [(5‐fluorouracil)‐1‐CH2CH2COOSn(Bu‐n)2]2O units are linked by bridging oxygen atom, and the tin atoms adopt distorted trigonal bipyramids via two carbons from dibutyl group and three oxygen atoms from 5‐fluorouracil and bridging oxygen. In vitro test shows complexes 1 and 2 exhibit high cytotoxicity against OVCAR‐3 and PC‐14. 相似文献

A novel organic-inorganic hybrid compound {[Cu(2,2′-bpy)2]2Mo8O26} has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group, Pna21,with a=2.4164(5),b=1.8281(4),c=1.1877(2)nm,V=5.247(2)nm^3,Z=4,and final R1=0.0331,wR2=0.0727.The structure consists of discrete {[Cu(2,2′-bpy)2]2Mo8O26} clusters,constructed from a β-octamolybdate subunit[Mo8O26]^4- covalently bonded to two [Cu(2,2′-bpy)2]^2 coordination complex cations via bridging oxo groups.In addition,the spectroscopic properties and thernal behavior of this compound have been investigated by spectroscopic techniques (UV-vis,IR,Raman and EPR spectra) and TG analysis. 相似文献

A series of mononuclear metal complexes of Co(III), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with 2‐(2,4‐dichlorobenzamido)‐N′‐(3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxybenzylidene)benzohydrazide ( LH 3 ) have been synthesized and characterized using various physico‐chemical, spectroscopic and single crystal X‐ray diffraction techniques. Structural studies of [Co( LH )( LH 2 )]·H2O ( 4 ) revealed the presence of both amido and imidol tautomeric forms of LH 3 , resulting in a distorted octahedral geometry around the Co(III) ion. [Ni( LH )(H2O)]·H2O ( 5 ) and [Cu( LH )(H2O)]·H2O ( 6 ) are isomorphous structures and crystallize in the monoclinic P21/c space group. The crystal structures of 4 , 5 and 6 are stabilized by hydrogen bonds formed by the enclathrated water molecules, C‐H···π and π···π interactions. Complexes along with the ligand ( LH 3 ) were screened for their in vivo anti‐inflammatory activity (carrageenan‐induced rat paw edema method) and in vitro antioxidant activity (DPPH free radical scavenging assay). Metal complexes have shown significant anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant potential. 相似文献

本文合成了一种新型配位聚合物[Cu(pa)(vim)2]n(pa为邻苯二甲酸阴离子,vim为1-乙烯基-1H-咪唑),并用x射线单晶衍射仪和元素分析表征了其单晶结构。晶体属单斜晶系,C2/c空间群,晶胞参数分别为:a=1.6527(3) nm, b=0.81800(16) nm, c=1.4463(3) nm, β=113.19(3)°, V=1.7973(7) nm3, Z=4, Dc=1.537 g?cm-3。 [I>2σ(I)]时:R1=0.0476, wR2=0.1235,对所有数据:R1=0.0693, wR2=0.1355。配合物的结构中存在沿着c轴的zigzag聚合链。每个铜原子位于晶体中心,与两个N原子和两个O原子进行配位,形成了扭曲的平面结构。电化学研究表明在配合物中Cu2+/Cu+的氧化还原是一个单电子的准可逆过程。 相似文献
