The reaction of carbonylative addition of alkyl alkynes to aniline derivatives has been successfully achieved by a catalytic system formed of Pd(OAc)2 and a suitable bidentate phosphine ligand. The reaction led mainly to gem‐α,β‐unsaturated amides ( 3 ) with Pd(OAc)2/1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane/p‐toluenesulfonic acid/CO as the catalytic system. However, the reaction catalyzed by Pd(OAc)2/1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane/H2/CO in CH2Cl2 as a solvent affords trans‐α,β‐unsaturated amides ( 4 ) as the major product. The aminocarbonylation and alkoxycarbonylation reactions of terminal alkynes took place smoothly and efficiently using a catalyst system Pd(OAc)2–dppb–p‐TsOH? CH3CN? CO under relatively mild experimental conditions. The catalytic system was tested and optimized using two different nucleophiles: alcohols and amines. Phenylacetylene (1a) was considered as an alkyne along with diisobutylamine (2b1) and methanol (2c1) as nucleophiles. The results showed significant differences in the conversion of 1a and in the selectivity towards the gem or trans unsaturated esters or amides with these nucleophiles. The effects of the type of palladium catalysts, the type of ligands, the amount of dppb and the solvents were carefully studied. With diisobutylamine (2b1), excellent regioselectivity towards the 2‐acrylamides (gem isomer, 3ab1) was almost always observed, while trans‐α,β‐unsaturated esters 4ac1 was the predominant product with methanol (2c1) as a nucleophile. This remarkable sensitivity in the selectivity of the reaction indicates two different possible mechanistic pathways for these carbonylation reactions. We report a general method for selective cross‐coupling of α,β‐unsaturated carboxylic acids with aryl tosylates enabled by versatile Pd(II) complexes. This method features the general cross‐coupling of ubiquitous α,β‐unsaturated carboxylic acids by decarboxylation. The transformation is characterized by its operational simplicity, the use of inexpensive, air‐stable Pd(II) catalysts, scalability and wide substrate scope. The reaction proceeds with high trans selectivity to furnish valuable (E)‐1,2‐diarylethenes.  相似文献

Substitution of silver complex of 2‐chloro‐7‐(mesitylimidazolylidenylmethyl)naphthyridine (NpNHC) with palladium(II), rhodium(I) and iridium(I) metal precursors provided [Pd(C ,N ‐NpNHC)(η3‐allyl)](BF4) ( 5 ), RhCl(COD)(C ‐NpNHC) ( 6a ) and IrCl(COD)(C ‐NpNHC) ( 6b ), respectively. Abstraction of chloride from 6a and 6b with AgBF4 provided the chelation complexes [Rh(COD)(C ,N ‐NpNHC)](BF4) ( 7a ) and Ir(COD)(C ,N ‐NpNHC)(BF4) ( 7b ), respectively. All complexes were characterized using NMR and elemental analyses and the structural details of 5 and 6a were further confirmed using X‐ray crystallography. In catalytic activity studies, complex 5 was found to be an effective catalyst in the hydrogen‐transfer reduction of α,β‐unsaturated carbonyl compounds into the corresponding saturated carbonyl compounds.  相似文献

The reaction of Ph3P=NLi with various α,β‐unsaturated esters gives access to new N‐(α,β‐unsaturated acyl) phosphinimines, which can undergo intramolecular aza‐Wittig reactions (at 65–110°C) to afford the corresponding nitriles. The cross-coupling reaction of trans-alkenylboronic acids with a-bromoacetic esters was firstly studied. It was found that using Pd(OAc)2 as catalyst, a bulky electron-rich phospine, (2-dicyclohexylphospino-biphenyl) as ligand, the reaction can be readily accomplished to give specific (E)-b,g-unsaturated esters in high yields.  相似文献

A series of palladium–NHC compounds were prepared and their catalytic activity in the double carbonylation of aryl iodides to synthesize α‐keto amides were examined. Palladium complexes bearing mixed NHC–phosphine exhibited high efficiency for the double carbonylation reaction. The effects of different solvents, base, temperature, carbon monoxide (CO), pressure, various amine and aryl iodides were investigated. Both electron‐rich and electron‐deficient aryl iodides afforded the corresponding substituted α‐keto amides in moderate to good yields. A possible mechanism was also proposed.
