为解决电动力学课程由于概念深奥抽象、公式推导繁杂和电磁相互作用复杂等原因而普遍存在教学效率低下的问题,我们围绕Matlab辅助教学与传统课堂教学有机结合进行了探索与实践.借助Matlab数值计算能力,检验和验证公式;发挥Matlab绘图和动画功能,可视化与模拟仿真电磁场;依托Matlab编程计算优势,引入学科前沿知识,引导学生探究性学习.实践结果表明,Matlab辅助教学能有效激发学生学习兴趣,培养其自主学习与创新能力,提高课堂教学效果.  相似文献

Predicting the flame shape, its stabilization process, and pollutant emissions in practical combustion devices requires to incorporate complex chemistry features. As detailed chemical schemes are too voluminous for practical numerical simulations, tabulated chemistry techniques have been proposed to account for the complexity of kinetics in turbulent flame simulations. Unfortunately, the size of these databases may become a crucial issue for efficient implementation on massively parallel computers. A reduction strategy that takes advantage of self-similar properties of tabulated chemistry is proposed for turbulent combustion modeling. A reduction of the database size by a factor of 1000 is achieved. This procedure is successfully applied to a RANS simulation of a turbulent jet flame.  相似文献

We propose a novel measure to assess causality through the comparison of symbolic mutual information between the future of one random quantity and the past of the other.This provides a new perspective that is different from the conventional conceptions.Based on this point of view,a new causality index is derived that uses the definition of directional symbolic mutual information.This measure presents properties that are different from the time delayed mutual information since the symbolization captures the dynamic features of the analyzed time series.In addition to characterizing the direction and the amplitude of the information flow,it can also detect coupling delays.This method has the property of robustness,conceptual simplicity,and fast computational speed.  相似文献

The relationship between magnetoelectricity and electromagnetism is a subject of a strong interest and numerous discussions in microwave and optical wave physics and material sciences. The definition of the energy and momentum of the electromagnetic (EM) field in a magnetoelectric (ME) medium is not a trivial problem. The question of whether electromagnetism and magnetoelectricity can coexist without an extension of Maxwell's theory arises when the effects of EM energy propagation are studied and the group velocity of the waves in an ME medium is considered. The energy balance equation reveals unusual topological structure of fields in ME materials. Together with certain constraints on the constitutive parameters of a medium, definite constraints on the local field structure should be imposed. Analyzing the EM phenomena inside an ME material, the question “what kind of the near fields arising from a sample of such a material can be measured?” should be answered. The visualization of the ME states requires an experimental technique that is based on an effective coupling to the violation of spatial as well as temporal inversion symmetry. To observe the ME energy in a subwavelength region, it is necessary to assume the existence of first-principle near fields—the ME fields. These are non-Maxwellian near fields with specific properties of violation of spatial and temporal inversion symmetry. A particular interest to the ME fields arises in studies of metamaterials with “artificial-atoms” ME elements.  相似文献

It is shown that the principles of general relativity as developed by Sachs [1] can be used to explain the principles of the motionless electromagnetic generator (MEG), which takes electromagnetic energy from Riemannian curved space-time and in consequence outputs about twenty times more energy than inputted [2]. Therefore, it is shown in the most general manner that electromagnetic energy can be extracted from vacuum and used to power working devices such as the MEG, devices which are reproducible and repeatable [2].  相似文献

We report complex impedance measurements in an untwinned YBaCuO crystal. Our broad frequency range covers both the quasi static response and the resistive response of the vortex lattice. It allow us to characterize the irreversibility line without the need of any frequency dependent pinning parameters. We confirm the validity of the two modes model of vortex dynamic, and extract both the surface critical current and the flux flow resistivity around the first order transition Tm. This latter is identified by the abrupt loss of pinning and by an unexpected step of (T) at Tm.
