In this paper we investigate vector-valued parabolic initial boundary value problems , subject to general boundary conditions in domains G in with compact C 2m -boundary. The top-order coefficients of are assumed to be continuous. We characterize optimal L p -L q -regularity for the solution of such problems in terms of the data. We also prove that the normal ellipticity condition on and the Lopatinskii–Shapiro condition on are necessary for these L p -L q -estimates. As a byproduct of the techniques being introduced we obtain new trace and extension results for Sobolev spaces of mixed order and a characterization of Triebel-Lizorkin spaces by boundary data.   相似文献

In this paper we establish a general weighted L q -theory of the Stokes operator in the whole space, the half space and a bounded domain for general Muckenhoupt weights . We show weighted L q -estimates for the Stokes resolvent system in bounded domains for general Muckenhoupt weights. These weighted resolvent estimates imply not only that the Stokes operator generates a bounded analytic semigroup but even yield the maximal L p -regularity of in the respective weighted L q -spaces for arbitrary Muckenhoupt weights . This conclusion is archived by combining a recent characterisation of maximal L p -regularity by -bounded families due to Weis [Operator-valued Fourier multiplier theorems and maximal L p -regularity. Preprint (1999)] with the fact that for L q -spaces -boundedness is implied by weighted estimates.  相似文献

We prove Lp estimates of a class of parametric Marcinkiewicz integral operators when their kernels satisfy only the L1(Sn1) integrability condition. The obtained Lp estimates resolve a problem left open in previous work. Our argument is based on duality technique and direct estimation of operators. As a consequence of our result, we deduce the Lp boundedness of a class of fractional Marcinkiewicz integral operators.  相似文献

We introduce a quantitative version of Property A in order to estimate the L p -compressions of a metric measure space X. We obtain various estimates for spaces with sub-exponential volume growth. This quantitative property A also appears to be useful to yield upper bounds on the L p -distortion of finite metric spaces. Namely, we obtain new optimal results for finite subsets of homogeneous Riemannian manifolds. We also introduce a general form of Poincaré inequalities that provide constraints on compressions, and lower bounds on distortion. These inequalities are used to prove the optimality of some of our results.   相似文献

In this paper we consider the Cauchy problem for a class of hyperbolic pseudodifferential operators. The considered class contains constant coefficient differential equations, also allowing the coefficients to depend on time. We establish sharp L p ? Lp, Lipschitz, and other estimates for their solutions. In particular, the ellipticity condition for the roots of the principal symbol is eliminated for certain dimensions. We discuss the situation with no loss of smoothness for solutions. In the space R1+n with n ≤ 4 (total dimension ≤ 5), we give a complete list of L p ? Lp properties. It is well known that the commutator Tb of the Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operator is bounded on Lp(Rn) for 1 < p < +∞ if and only if b ∈ BMO [1]. On the other hand, the commutator Tb is bounded from H1(Rn) into L1(Rn) only if the function b is a constant [2]. In this article, we will discuss the boundedness of commutator of certain pseudo-differential operators on Hardy spaces H1. Let Tσ be the operators that its symbol is S01,δ with 0 ≤ δ < 1, if b ∈ LMO, then, the commutator [b, Tσ] is bounded from H1(Rn) into L1(Rn) and from L1(Rn) into BMO(Rn); If [b, Tσ] is bounded from H1(Rn) into L1(Rn) or L1(Rn) into BMO(Rn), then, b ∈ LMOloc.  相似文献

We consider here pseudo-differential operators whose symbol σ(x,ξ) is not infinitely smooth with respect to x. Decomposing such symbols into four—sometimes five—components and using tools of paradifferential calculus, we derive sharp estimates on the action of such pseudo-differential operators on Sobolev spaces and give explicit expressions for their operator norm in terms of the symbol σ(x,ξ). We also study commutator estimates involving such operators, and generalize or improve the so-called Kato-Ponce and Calderon-Coifman-Meyer estimates in various ways.  相似文献

We first establish a series of Strichartz estimates for a general class of linear dispersive equations by applying the theory of oscillatory integrals established by Kenig, Ponce and Vega. Next we use such estimates to study solvability of the Cauchy problem of the Kawahara equation in the class C(R,Hs(R)).
