A novel ternary nanocomposite, Pd nanoparticles(NPs)/polyoxometalates(POMs)/reduced graphene oxide(rGO), was prepared by a green, mild, electrochemical-reductionassisted assembly. It is worth noting that the Keggin-type POM acts as an electrocatalyst as well as a bridging molecule. During the reduction process, POMs transfer the electrons from the electrode to GO, leading to a deep reduction of GO and the content of oxygen-containing groups is decreased to around 6.1%. Meanwhile, the strong adsorption effect between the POM clusters and rGO nanosheets induces the spontaneous assembly of POM on r GO in a uniformly dispersed state, forming a nanocomposite. The ternary Pd NPs/POMs/rGO nanocomposite exhibits higher electrocatalytic activities, better electrochemical stability, and higher resistance to CO poisoning than the Pd/C catalyst towards the formic acid oxidation(FAOR). Especially, the Pd/PW_(12)/rGO exhibits the best electrocatalytic performance among three Pd/POMs/rGO composites(POMs = PW_(12), SiW_(12), PMo_(12)).  相似文献

We report the microwave synthesis and characterization of Au and Pd nanoparticle catalysts supported on CeO2, CuO, and ZnO nanoparticles for CO oxidation. The results indicate that supported Au/CeO2 catalysts exhibit excellent activity for low-temperature CO oxidation. The Pd/CeO2 catalyst shows a uniform dispersion of Pd nanoparticles with a narrow size distribution within the ceria support. A remarkable enhancement of the catalytic activity is observed and directly correlated with the change in the morphology of the supported catalyst and the efficient dispersion of the active metal on the support achieved by using capping agents during the microwave synthesis. The significance of the current method lies mainly in its simplicity, flexibility, and the control of the different factors that determine the activity of the nanoparticle catalysts.  相似文献

Well distributed Pd‐Cu bimetallic alloy nanoparticles supported on amine‐terminated ionic liquid functional three‐dimensional graphene (3D IL‐rGO/Pd‐Cu) as an efficient catalyst for Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction has been prepared via a facile synthetic method. The introduction of IL‐NH2 cations on the surface of graphene sheets can effectively avoid the re‐deposition of graphene sheets, allowing the catalyst to be reused up to 10 cycles. The addition of Cu not only saves cost but also ensures high catalytic efficiency. It is worthy to note that the catalyst 3D IL‐rGO/Pd2.5Cu2.5 can efficiently catalyze the Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction with the yield up to 100% in 0.25 h, almost one‐fold higher than that by the pristine IL‐rGO/Pd2.5 catalyst (52%). The Powder X‐Ray Diffraction (XRD), combining energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS) mapping results confirm the existence and distribution of Pd and Cu in the bimetallic nanoparticles. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) reveals the nanoparticle size with an average diameter of 3.0 ± 0.5 nm. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis proved the presence of electron transfer from Cu to Pd upon alloying. Such alloying‐induced electronic modification of Pd‐Cu alloy and 3D ionic liquid functional graphene with large specific surface area both accounted for the catalytic enhancement.  相似文献

A novel glucose biosensor was constructed through the immobilization of glucose oxidase (GOx) on gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) deposited, and chemically reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanocomposite. In the synthesis, tannic acid (TA) was used for the reduction of both graphene oxide, and Au3+ to rGO, and Au NPs, respectively. Also, by harnessing the π‐π interaction between graphene oxide and TA, and protein‐TA interaction, a novel nanocomposite for the fabrication of a third generation biosensor was successfully constructed. Upon the oxidation of TA to quinone, which is easily reducible at the negative potential range, enhanced electron transfer was obtained. The cyclic voltammetry (CV) results demonstrated a pair of well‐defined and quasi‐reversible redox peaks of active site molecule of GOx. The biosensor exhibited a linear response to glucose concentrations varying from 2 to 10 mM with a sensitivity of 18.73 mA mM−1 cm−2. The fabricated biosensor was used for the determination of glucose in beverages.  相似文献

Solvothermally synthesized cobalt sulphide/reduced graphene oxide (CoS/rGO) was used to fabricate an electrochemical sensor for detection of artemisinin. Microscopic techniques were used to characterize CoS/rGO nanocomposite. The electrochemical sensor was fabricated by modifying the surface of glassy carbon electrode with CoS/rGO nanocomposite. [Fe(CN)6]3−/4− was used as a mediator to aid oxidation of artemisinin. Differential pulse voltammetric technique was used for the detection of artemisinin. A linear range of 30–100 μM was used. Experimentally, a detection limit of 0.5 μM was obtained. Therefore, the developed sensor can be used for quality control of artemisinin.  相似文献

A new nanocomposite, poly(aniline‐co‐diphenylamine‐4‐sulfonic acid)/graphene (PANISP/rGO), was prepared by means of an in situ oxidation copolymerization of aniline (ANI) with diphenylamine‐4‐sulfonic acid (SP) in the presence of graphene oxide, followed by the chemical reduction of graphene oxide using hydrazine hydrate as a reductant. The morphology and structure of PANISP/rGO were characterized by field‐emission (FE) SEM, TEM, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman, FTIR, and UV/Vis spectra. The electrochemical performance was evaluated by cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge–discharge, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The PANISP/rGO nanocomposite showed a nanosized structure, with sulfonic polyaniline nanoarrays coated homogeneously on the surface of graphene nanosheets. This special structure of the nanocomposite also facilitates the enhancement of the electrochemical performance of the electrodes. The PANISP/rGO nanocomposite exhibits a specific supercapacitance up to 1170 F g?1 at the current density of 0.5 A g?1. The as‐prepared electrodes show excellent supercapacitive performance because of the synergistic effects between graphene and the sulfonic polyaniline copolymer chains.  相似文献

The oxidation of formaldehyde on a platinum (Pt)–palladium (Pd)–graphene nanocomposite glassy carbon electrode prepared by chemical reduction was characterized in 0.5?M sulfuric acid. The surface and morphology of the catalyst were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. Bimetallic Pt–Pd nanoparticles were uniformly dispersed on the graphene sheets. Energy-dispersed X-ray spectroscopy was used to characterize the metal composition of the nanocomposite. The electrocatalytical characteristics of the modified electrode were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The results show that the electrode displayed high activity for the oxidation of formaldehyde in sulfuric acid with a linear relationship from 4.50?µM to 0.180?mM and a detection limit of 2.85?µM. The low detection limit, wide linear dynamic range, and high sensitivity of the modified electrode suggests further applications.  相似文献

Pt−Au nanoclusters decorated on the surface of reduced graphene oxide (rGO/Pt−Au) was facilely prepared by one‐pot electrochemical reduction. The morphology and composition of rGO/Pt−Au composites had been characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled with energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectrometry (EDX), fourier transform‐infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR) and electrochemical methods. Ofloxacin is a member of synthetic quinolones which has been widely used for the treatment of common diseases in humans and animals. The performance of the rGO/Pt−Au nanocomposite toward the oxidation of ofloxacin was compared with the other similar nanostructures like rGO/Pt and rGO/Au. In the optimized conditions, two linear calibration curves were obtained, from 0.08 to 10 μM and 10 to 100 μM ofloxacin. A detection limit of 0.05 μM ofloxacin was observed at pH 5.7 for the GCE/rGO/Pt−Au. The proposed sensor was successfully applied to determine ofloxacin in tablets and human urine samples and the results were satisfactory.  相似文献

In this study, a three-component nanocomposite consisted of graphene, manganese ferrite and phosphotungstic acid (PTA) has been prepared. This composite, which is designated as Graphene/MnFe2O4@PTA, was synthesized through anchoring of PTA–imidazolium ionic liquid on magnetic graphene sheets. The structural and magnetic properties of the fabricated nanocomposite were studied by employing FT-IR, SEM, EDX, TEM, ICP, VSM, P-XRD and BET techniques. The synthesized magnetic nanocomposite was examined as an efficient and recyclable acidic catalyst for Mannich reaction under solvent-free conditions. The products of this reaction, which are an important class of potentially bioactive compounds, were obtained with good to excellent yields, and the catalyst could be readily recycled without any significant loss of its activity.  相似文献

A sensitive electrochemical immunosensor for Hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBsAg) detection was fabricated based on hemin/G‐quadruplex interlaced onto Fe3O4‐AuNPs or hemin ‐amino‐reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite (H‐amino‐rGO‐Au). G‐quadruplex DNAzyme, which is composed of hemin and guanine‐rich nucleic acid, is an effective signal amplified tool for its outstanding peroxidase activity and Fe3O4‐AuNPs or (H‐amino‐rGO‐Au) nanocomposites with quasi‐enzyme activity provide appropriate support for the immobilization of hemin/G‐quadruplex. The target protein was sandwiched between the primary antibody immobilized on the GO and secondary antibody immobilized on the Fe3O4‐AuNPs or (H‐amino‐rGO‐Au) nanocomposites and glutaraldehyde was used as linking agent for the immobilization of primary antibody on the surface of GO. Both Fe3O4‐AuNPs and H‐amino‐rGO‐Au nanocomposite and also hemin/G‐quadruplex can cooperate the electrocatalytic reduction of H2O2 in the presence of methylene blue as mediator. The proposed immunosensor has a wide linear dynamic range of 0.1 pg/ml to 300 pg/ml with a detection limit of 60 fg/ml when Fe3O4‐AuNPs was used for immobilization of hemin/G‐quadruplex, while the dynamic range and DL were 0. 1–1000 pg/mL and 10 fg/mL, respectively in the presence of H‐amino‐rGO‐ Au nanocomposite as platform for immobilizing of hemin/G‐quadruplex. The proposed immunosensor was also used for analysis of HBsAg in spiked human serum samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Graphene nanoplatelets have been applied as the support to electrodeposit monometallic Au and Pd nanoparticles as well as bimetallic Au–Pd nanoparticles. These nanoparticles have been characterized with scanning electron microscope, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, and electrochemical techniques. They are further utilized as the catalysts for electrochemical oxidation of hydrazine. The oxidation peak potential is − 0.35 and 0.53 V (vs. SCE) when monometallic Pd and Au nanoparticle are used as the catalysts. When bimetallic nanoparticles are applied as the catalyst, their composition affects the peak potential and peak current for the oxidation of hydrazine. Higher oxidation current is achieved when bimetallic Au–Pd nanoparticles with an atomic ratio of 3:1 are deposited on graphene nanoplatelets. Metal nanoparticle-loaded graphene nanoplatelets are thus novel platforms for electrocatalytic, electroanalytical, environmental, and related applications.  相似文献

Increasing demand of alternative energy sources leads to the development of new electrocatalytic materials for fuel cells. In present work, we report the synthesis of rGO/PEDOT : PSS (reduced graphene oxide/ Poly (3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) : Polystyrene sulfonate) nanocomposite by in‐situ polymerization method using EDOT as precursor and the nanocomposite is used as anode catalyst for methanol oxidation. Structural and chemical characterizations such as XRD, FTIR and Micro‐Raman confirm the formation of the nanocomposite. From TEM image, growth of nanofibrous PEDOT : PSS on rGO nanosheets is observed. Electrochemical characterizations of rGO/PEDOT : PSS/ITO electrode are performed by Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and Chronoamperometry (CA) measurements. Methanol oxidation reactions are performed in 0.5 M NaOH solution. The anodic current of the nanocomposite coated ITO is found be 37.5 mA at 0.59 V due to methanol electro‐oxidation and retentivity of the electrode is 92 % of initial scan after 800 cycles. The chronoamperometric results reveal that the nanocomposite modified electrode exhibits better stability with retention factor of 42.4 % up to 3000 seconds. The rGO/PEDOT : PSS/ITO electrode exhibits enhanced electrocatalytic activity towards methanol oxidation reaction due to larger surface area and excellent conductivity of rGO nanosheet.  相似文献

Nanodiamond–graphene core–shell materials have several unique properties compared with purely sp2‐bonded nanocarbons and perform remarkably well as metal‐free catalysts. In this work, we report that palladium nanoparticles supported on nanodiamond–graphene core–shell materials (Pd/ND@G) exhibit superior catalytic activity in CO oxidation compared to Pd NPs supported on an sp2‐bonded onion‐like carbon (Pd/OLC) material. Characterization revealed that the Pd NPs in Pd/ND@G have a special morphology with reduced crystallinity and are more stable towards sintering at high temperature than the Pd NPs in Pd/OLC. The electronic structure of Pd is changed in Pd/ND@G, resulting in weak CO chemisorption on the Pd NPs. Our work indicates that strong metal–support interactions can be achieved on a non‐reducible support, as exemplified for nanocarbon, by carefully tuning the surface structure of the support, thus providing a good example for designing a high‐performance nanostructured catalyst.  相似文献

Low cost, high activity and selectivity, convenient separation, and increased reusability are the main requirements for noble‐metal‐nanocatalyst‐catalyzed reactions. Despite tremendous efforts, developing noble‐metal nanocatalysts to meet the above requirements remains a significant challenge. Here we present a general strategy for the preparation of strongly coupled Fe3O4 and palladium nanoparticles (PdNPs) to graphene sheets by employing polyethyleneimine as the coupling linker. Transmission electron microscopic images show that Pd and Fe3O4 nanoparticles are highly dispersed on the graphene surface, and the mean particle size of Pd is around 3 nm. This nanocatalyst exhibits synergistic catalysis by Pd nanoparticles supported on reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and a tertiary amine of polyethyleneimine (Pd/Fe3O4/PEI/rGO) for the Tsuji–Trost reaction in water and air. For example, the reaction of ethyl acetoacetate with allyl ethyl carbonate afforded the allylated product in more than 99 % isolated yield, and the turnover frequency reached 2200 h?1. The yield of allylated products was 66 % for Pd/rGO without polyethyleneimine. The catalyst could be readily recycled by a magnet and reused more than 30 times without appreciable loss of activity. In addition, only about 7.5 % of Pd species leached off after 20 cycles, thus rendering this catalyst safer for the environment.  相似文献

The direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) is considered as a promising power source, because of its abundant fuel source, high energy density and environmental friendliness. Among DMFC anode materials, Pt and Pt group metals are considered to be the best electrocatalysts. The combination of Pt with some specific transition metal can reduce the cost and improve the tolerance toward CO poisoning of pure Pt catalysts. In this paper, the geometric stabilities of PtFe/PdFe atoms anchored in graphene sheet and catalytic CO oxidation properties were investigated using the density functional theory method. The results show that the Pt (Pd) and Fe atoms can replace C atoms in graphene sheet. The CO oxidation reaction by molecular O2 on PtFe–graphene and PdFe–graphene was studied. The results show that the Eley–Rideal (ER) mechanism is expected over the Langmuir–Hinshelwood mechanism for CO oxidation on both PtFe–graphene and PdFe–graphene. Further, complete CO oxidation on PtFe–graphene and PdFe–graphene proceeds via a two‐step ER reaction: CO(gas) + O2(ads) → CO2(ads) + O(ads) and CO(gas) + O(ads) → CO2(ads). Our results reveal that PtFe/PdFe commonly embedded in graphene can be used as a catalyst for CO oxidation. The microscopic mechanism of the CO oxidation reaction on the atomic catalysts was explored.  相似文献

In the present work, the role and the effect of platinum and gold on the catalytic performance of ceria supported tri-metallic Pt-Pd-Au catalysts have been studied. The optimum composition of these tri-metallic supported catalysts has been discovered using methods and tools of combinatorial catalyst library design. Detailed catalytic, spectroscopic and physico-chemical characterization of catalysts in the vicinity of the optimum in the given compositional space has been performed. The temperature-programmed oxidation of methane revealed that the addition of Pt and Au to Pd/CeO2 catalyst resulted in higher conversion values in the whole investigated temperature range compared to the monometallic Pd catalyst. The time-on-stream experiments provided further evidence for the high-stability of tri-metallic catalysts compared to the monometallic one. Kinetic studies revealed the stronger adsorption of methane on Pt-Pd/CeO2 catalysts than over Pd/CeO2. XPS analysis showed that Pt and Au stabilize Pd in a more reduced form even under condition of methane oxidation. FTIR spectroscopy of adsorbed CO and hydrogen TPD measurements provided indirect evidences for alloying of Pt and Au with Pd. CO chemisorption data indicated that tri-metallic catalysts have increased accessible metallic surface area. It is suggested that advantageous catalytic properties of tri-metallic Pt-Au-Pd/CeO2 catalysts compared to the monometallic one can be attributed to (i) suppression of the formation of ionic forms of Pd(II), (ii) reaching an optimum ratio between Pd0 and PdO species, and (iii) stabilization of Pd in high dispersion. The results also indicate that Pd0 - PdO ensemble sites are required for methane activation.  相似文献

In this study, reduced graphene oxide (rGO)-supported noble metal (gold, silver, and platinum) nanoparticle catalysts were prepared via the one-pot facile co-reduction technique. Various measurement techniques were used to investigate the structures and properties of the catalysts. The relative intensity ratios of ID/IG in rGO/Au, rGO/Ag, rGO/Pt, and GO were 1.106, 1.078, 1.047, and 0.863, respectively. The results showed the formation of rGO and that noble metal nanoparticles were decorated on rGO. Furthermore, the catalytic activities of the designed nanocomposites were investigated via 4-nitrophenol. The catalysts were used in 4-nitrophenol reduction. The catalytic performance of the catalysts was evaluated using the apparent rate constant k values. The k value of rGO/Au was 0.618 min−1, which was higher than those of rGO/Ag (0.55 min−1) and rGO/Pt (0.038 min−1). The result proved that the rGO/Au catalyst exhibited a higher catalytic performance than the rGO/Ag catalyst and the rGO/Pt catalyst. The results provide a facile method for the synthesis of rGO-supported nanomaterials in catalysis.  相似文献
