为了适应光通信发展的要求,依据分组Turbo码(BTC)传统Chase译码算法的分析,提出了一种基于不对等可靠位数的改进新译码算法。使用该算法在每次迭代时将产生一个可靠度参数对外部信息进行修正,从而提高BTC的译码性能。仿真结果表明:在误码率(BER)为10-5且迭代4次的情况下,新BTC译码算法与传统Chase译码算法相比,其净编码增益(NCG)提高了0.9dB,并且在最差情况下给系统增加的译码复杂度都不大。  相似文献

Reconfiguration concept represents reconfigurable functionalities of the radio interface for mobile radio systems. Particularly for the physical layer, some possible reconfigurable architectures can be identified. We focus on outer interleaving for turbo codes, which can improve their performance in flat Rayleigh fading environment. The larger the number of columns in the outer interleaver, the better is the performance, but with the penalty of more complexity and delay. Furthermore, an incorrect choice of the number of columns can increase the bit and frame error rates. Therefore, it would be advantageous to reconfigure the outer interleaver in different operating environments with the optimum number of columns. Using two different data frame lengths, in this contribution simulation results are presented for the four possible outer block interleaver configurations specified for the 3GPP mobile standard in the case of flat Rayleigh fading channel. It is shown that different operating environments require an optimum number of columns in terms of bit error rate and frame error rate performance. Finally, frame fade duration is considered and the effect of the product of the Doppler frequency with the frame duration on the performance for the four different 3GPP outer block interleaver configurations is discussed. Costas Chaikalis was born in Athens, Greece, on March 7, 1973. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in 1995 from Technological Educational Institute of Lamia, Greece. He also received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, University of Bradford, Bradford, UK in 1999 and 2003, respectively. During his doctoral studies he worked as a Research Assistant for Mobile Virtual Center of Excellence (Mobile VCE), Terminals Group, UK. Since 2003, he is a lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Technological Educational Institute of Lamia, Greece. This article presents downlink initial synchronization and cell identification algorithms for long term evolution (LTE) of third-generation (3G) mobile communication systems, which are based on synchronization channel (SCH) and cell specific pilot symbols, respectively. The key features of the proposed scheme are: it can improve performance of the frequency synchronization through oversampling of the SCH, it can support a large number of target cells by modulating a cell-specific pilot sequence over two symbols within a subframe, and it can guarantee cell identification performance by maximally ratio combining the frequency domain differential cross-correlation. Simulations show that the proposed scheme has a potential use in 3G LTE.  相似文献

Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) produced the first full version of the WCDMA standard at the end of 1999. This release, called Release'99, contains all the necessary elements to meet the requirements for IMT‐2000 technologies, including 2 Mbps data rate with variable bit‐rate capability, support of multi‐service, QoS differentiation and efficient packet data. The Release 5 specifications were created in March 2002 and they contain downlink packet data operation enhancement, under the title high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA). HSDPA utilizes Hybrid ARQ and higher order modulation for improving data‐spectral efficiency and for pushing bit rates beyond 10 Mbps. The further 3GPP releases will study the enhancements of packet‐data performance in uplink. Other important features in future 3GPP releases include advanced antenna technologies and WCDMA standard for new spectrum allocations. 针对低密度奇偶校验(LDPC)码的相关理论和LDPC码自身特性以及光通信系统具有低噪声、高信噪比的传输特点进行分析后,提出了光通信系统中LDPC码型的构造方法,这为光通信系统中LDPC码型的构造和仿真分析奠定了基础。并对光通信系统中LDPC码的编译码算法进行了深入分析与研究,得到一些有利于降低其编译码算法复杂度的重要结论,这有助于降低其编译码器的设计与实现复杂度。  相似文献

本文针对3G系统中自适应多比特率(AMR)语音业务的各种语音编码模式,设计了采用Turbo码的不等保护信道编码为基础的链路配置方案.为了研究AMR的链路适配,提出了针对3G系统多业务、多接入速率特征的不等功率分配策略,并在此基础上分析了AMR的不同编码模式对小区的接入容量的影响.基于链路级的仿真和对系统容量的分析,本文归纳了3G系统中AMR语音业务的链路配置和模式切换准则,对实际系统中的无线资源管理具有参考价值.  相似文献

Development of practical algorithms for beamforming in 3G CDMA systems and their software radio implementations are still a challenging task, which will facilitate upgrading of traditional base stations into smart antenna capable 3G base stations. In this paper, we propose a practical space-code correlator (SCC) receiver structure for its software radio implementation a DSP. SCC’s advantage comes from the fact that it doesn’t require any training sequence or learning parameter as in other algorithms (LMS or CM). DSP implementations of the SCC are performed using Texas Instruments C67xx family platforms. In the simulations, reverse link base band signal format of CDMA2000 is used and the effects of different array topologies (uniform linear array-ULA or uniform circular array-UCA) are considered. The implementation results regarding beamforming accuracy, weight vector computation time (execution time), search resolution effect on DOA estimation accuracy, DSP resource utilization, and received SINR are presented. The results show that DSP based SCC beamformer can estimate weight vectors within less than 10 ms with DOA search resolution of 2° especially when C6713 DSP is used. With faster DSPs and larger search resolutions, execution time could be significantly reduced as well. It provides comparable SINR performance with LMS and CM algorithms.

针对3维高性能视频编码(3D-HEVC)中深度图像帧内编码单元(Coding Unit, CU)划分复杂度高的问题,该文提出一种基于角点和彩色图像的自适应快速CU划分算法。首先利用角点算子,并根据量化参数选取一定数目的角点,以此进行CU的预划分;然后联合彩色图像的CU划分对预划分的CU深度级进行调整;最后依据调整后的CU深度级,缩小当前CU的深度级范围。实验结果表明,与原始3D-HEVC的算法相比,该文所提算法平均减少了约63%的编码时间;与只基于彩色图像的算法相比,该文的算法减少了约13%的编码时间,同时降低了约3%的平均比特率,有效地提高了编码效率。  相似文献

The biggest challenge of the traditional 3D orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) method for direction-of-departure (DOD), direction-of-arrival (DOA) and Doppler frequency estimation in bistatic multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar is the heavy computational burden due to a large number of atoms in the overcomplete dictionary. In this paper, low complexity 3D-OMP algorithms are investigated. First, the traditional 3D-OMP algorithm is given. Then, two-dimensionality reduced OMP-based algorithms are proposed exploiting the property of Khatri-Rao product and proper sparse representation. Also, the multiple measurement vectors (MMV) model is introduced to our OMP algorithms to guarantee the estimation performance. The simulation results show that the DOD, DOA and Doppler frequency can be effectively estimated with a small number of pulses and low computation cost. With similar accuracy compared with the traditional 3D-OMP method, much lower computational burden can be achieved by using the proposed methods.  相似文献

为了提高G3-PLC系统可靠性,引入压缩感知(Compressed Sensing,CS)的信道估计方法,提出了一种基于最小二乘(Least Squares,LS)的稀疏度预测自适应匹配追踪(LS Based Prediction-Sparsity Adaptive Matching Pursuit,LS-SAMP)算法。该算法在稀疏度自适应匹配追踪(Sparsity Adaptive Matching Pursuit,SAMP)算法的基础上,采用了基于LS的稀疏度预测方法对信道稀疏度进行预估计,使算法可以快速逼近信道的真实稀疏度,提高算法运行效率;其次利用主成分分析方法对观测矩阵进行线性优化,降低观测矩阵相干度,提高算法的重构性能。实验结果表明,在误码率为10-3时,所提算法相对于LS算法的信道估计性能有1 dB的提升,且其运行效率比SAMP算法提升了31.23%,以更有效的方式提高了G3-PLC系统的可靠性。  相似文献
