Theoretical investigation of the weakly dihydrogen bonded complexes FArCCH...HBeX (X = H, F, Cl, Br)
An ab initio computational study of the properties of four linear dihydrogen-bonded complexes formed between the first compound with an Ar-C chemical bond (FArCCH) and HBeX (X = H, F, Cl, and Br) molecules was undertaken at the MP2/6-311++G(2d,2p) level of theory. The calculated complexation energy at MP2 and G2(MP2) levels decreases in the order HBeH...HCCArF > BrBeH...HCCArF > ClBeH...HCCArF > FBeH...HCCArF. The intermolecular stretching frequency, and shifts within the monomers, are compared with the energetic strength of complexation. 相似文献

The solvent dependence of the 13C NMR spectra of chloroacetone (CA), bromoacetone (BA) and iodoacetone (IA) are reported and the 3J(CH) couplings analysed using ab initio calculations and solvation theory. In CA the energy difference (E(cis) - E(gauche)) between the cis (Cl-C-C=O 0 degrees) and gauche (Cl-C-C=O 155 degrees) conformers is 1.7 kcal mol(-1) in the vapour, decreasing to 0.8 kcal mol(-1) in CCl4 solution and to -1.0 kcal mol(-1) in the pure liquid. The conformational equilibrium, in BA, is between the more polar cis (Br-C-C=O 0 degrees) and gauche (Br-C-C=O 132 degrees) conformations. The energy difference (E(cis) - E(gauche)) is 1.8 kcal mol(-1) in the vapour, decreasing to 0.9 kcal mol(-1) in CCl4 solution and to -0.4 kcal mol(-1) in the pure liquid. The energy difference (E(cis) - E(gauche)), in IA, between the cis (I-C-C=O 0 degrees) and gauche (I-C-C=O 104 degrees) conformers is 1.1 kcal mol(-1) in the vapour phase, decreasing to 0.5 kcal mol(-1) in CCl4 solution and to -0.5 kcal mol(-1) in the pure liquid. The vapour state energy difference for BA [1.4 kcal mol(-1) at B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)] and for IA [1.6 kcal mol(-1) at B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)/LANL2DZ)] are in very good agreement with the above values. 采用CCSD/6-311++G(d,p)//B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)方法研究了HCHO与卤素原子X(X=F、Cl、Br)的反应机理. 计算结果表明, 卤素原子X(X=F、Cl、Br)主要通过直接提取HCHO中的H原子生成HCO+HX(X=F、Cl、Br). 另外还可以生成稳定的中间体, 中间体再通过卤原子夺氢和氢原子直接解离两个反应通道分别生成HCO+HX(X=F、Cl、Br)和H+XCHO(X=F、Cl、Br). 其中卤原子夺氢通道为主反应通道, HCO和HX(X=F、Cl、Br)为主要的反应产物; 且三个反应的活化能均较低, 说明此类反应很容易进行, 计算结果与实验结果符合很好. 电子密度拓扑分析显示, 在HCHO+X反应通道(b)中出现了T型结构过渡态, 结构过渡态(STS)位于能量过渡态(ETS)之后. 并且按F、Cl、Br的顺序, 结构过渡态出现得越来越晚. 相似文献

Halogen-hydride interactions between Z-X (Z = CN, NC and X = F, Cl, Br) as halogen donor and H-Mg-Y (Y = H, F, Cl, Br, CH(3)) as electron donor have been investigated through the use of Becke three-parameter hybrid exchange with Lee-Yang-Parr correlation (B3LYP), second-order M?ller-Plesset perturbation theory (MP2), and coupled-cluster single and double excitation (with triple excitations) [CCSD(T)] approaches. Geometry changes during the halogen-hydride interaction are accompanied by a mutual polarization of both partners with some charge transfer occurring from the electron donor subunit. Interaction energies computed at MP2 level vary from -1.23 to -2.99 kJ/mol for Z-F···H-Mg-Y complexes, indicating that the fluorine interactions are relatively very weak but not negligible. Instead, for chlorine- and bromine-containing complexes the interaction energies span from -5.78 to a maximum of -26.42 kJ/mol, which intimate that the interactions are comparable to conventional hydrogen bonding. Moreover, the calculated interaction energy was found to increase in magnitude with increasing positive electrostatic potential on the extension of Z-X bond. Analysis of geometric, vibrational frequency shift and the interaction energies indicates that, depending on the halogen, CN-X···H interactions are about 1.3-2.0 times stronger than NC-X···H interactions in which the halogen bonds to carbon. We also identified a clear dependence of the halogen-hydride bond strength on the electron-donating or -withdrawing effect of the substituent in the H-Mg-Y subunits. Furthermore, the electronic and structural properties of the resulting complexes have been unveiled by means of the atoms in molecules (AIM) and natural bond orbital (NBO) analyses. Finally, several correlative relationships between interaction energies and various properties such as binding distance, frequency shift, molecular electrostatic potential, and intermolecular density at bond critical point have been checked for all studied systems. 相似文献

The chemical shifts are interpreted in terms of inductive and through-space effects of the X substituents together with a rehybridization of the phosphorous atom. The electronic structure and thermochemical stability of the HOX-SO(3) (X = F, Cl, Br) complexes is studied using second-order M?ller-Plesset perturbation theory (MP2). The calculated dissociation energies of the HOF-SO(3), HOCl-SO(3), and HOBr-SO(3) complexes are 5.43, 6.02, and 5.98 kcal mol(-1) at MP2/6-311++G(3df,3pd) level, respectively. Anharmonic OH stretching frequencies of the HOX (X = F, Cl, Br) moieties along with the frequency shifts upon complex formation are calculated at the MP2/6-311++G(2df,2p) level. AIM and NBO analyses were also performed. Theoretical data strongly encourage performing of matrix-isolation studies of the title complexes and their spectroscopic identification. 相似文献

Based on the recently reported D(5h) C(50), the geometries and stabilities of its Saturn-like derivatives C(50)X(10) (X=F, Cl, Br) have been investigated by DFT method. Compared with C(50), the equatorial carbon atoms in C(50)X(10) have been saturated by halogens and change to sp(3) hybridization to release the large angle strain. Because the equatorial carbon atoms have been taken out of the pi system by the halogens "ring," the C(50)X(10) system has been split into two well-delocalized conjugated annulene subunits, and then the electronic stabilization has been enhanced. 相似文献

用对称性匹配微扰理论(SAPT)对C2H2与X2(X=F,CI,Br,I)相互作用进行了量子化学研究.优化所得的4个稳定复合物相互作用能在-3.276 8~-10.639 5 kJ/mol之间.自然键轨道(NBO)理论分析表明,形成复合物分子间的电荷转移量都很少,在0.002 3~0.013 2之间.SAPT2能量分析显示,从F到I,静电能和诱导能先增大后减小,交换能和色散能逐渐增强,相互作用能依次增强.复合物稳定构型的相互作用能中静电能占主导作用,对吸引能的贡献比例在C2H2…F2中最大(57.3%),在C2H2…I2中最小(49.7%);其次为色散能,在吸引能中所占的比例在21.9%(C2H2…F2)~31.2%(C2H2…I2)之间;诱导能在吸引能中所占的比例最小,均小于20.7%. 相似文献

We report threshold electron energy-loss spectra for the fluorohalomethanes CF3X (X=Cl,Br). Measurements were made at incident electron energies of 30 and 100 eV in energy-loss range of 4-14 eV, and at scattering angles of 4 degrees and 15 degrees. Several new electronic transitions are observed which are ascribable to excitation of low-lying states as well as are intrinsically overlapped in the molecules themselves. Assignments of these electronic transitions are suggested. These assignments are based on present spectroscopic and cross-section measurements, high-energy scattering spectra, and ab initio molecular orbital calculations. The calculated potential curves along the C-X bond show repulsive nature, suggesting that these transitions may lead to dissociation of the C-X bond. The present results are also compared with the previous ones for CF3H, CF4, and CF3I. 相似文献

The Gadolinium Carbide Halides, Gd4C2X3 (X = Cl, Br) The compounds Gd4C2X3 (X = Cl, Br) and Tb4C2Br3 have been prepared by reaction of the metals (RE), REX3, and C in sealed Ta capsules at 1 100° and 1 300°C, respectively. Monophasic samples of Gd4C2Br3 and Tb4C2Br3 were obtained by reacting stoichiometric mixtures of the starting materials for five days. The needle shaped crystals are bronze-coloured and sensitive to air and moisture. Gd4C2X3 crystallizes in the space group Pnma (No. 62) with lattice constants a = 1 059.6(4), b = 368.4(1), c = 1 962.7(8) pm (Gd4C2Cl3), a = 1 084.4(1), b = 373.0(1), c = 2 036.1(1) pm (Gd4C2Br3). According to Guinier photographs, Tb4C2Br3 is isotypic (a = 1 074.3(2), b = 370.6(1), c = 2 019.4(1) pm). In the crystal structure C is octahedrally coordinated by Gd. The Gd6 octahedra are linked via common edges to form corrugated layers. The X-anions coordinate all free edges and corners of these layers and connect them via Xi? Xi contacts parallel [001]. Gd4C2Br3 shows metallic conductivity. The magnetic susceptibility follows at high temperatures a Curie Weiss law with an effective moment of 7.95 μB. At temperatures below 50 K antiferromagnetic order is observed. 相似文献

It was found that, irrespective of oxidation number (+3, +4, or +5), rhodium atoms always exhibit the coordination number 6 with respect to the halogen atoms and have octahedral coordination. The influence of site symmetry and the valence state of Rh on the distortion of RhX6 octahedra are considered. In the1H NMR spectrum of 1-vinyl-2-cyanoethylthiobenzimidazole, an abnormal downfield shift has been found in the signal of the -hydrogen atom of the vinyl group, and also an increase in the corresponding direct13C-1H spin-spin coupling constant, in comparison with other 2-substituted benzimidazoles.
