The purpose of this paper is to present an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions to the variational inclusion problem with multivalued maximal monotone mapping and inverse-strongly monotone mappings and the set of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert space.Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems for approximating this common elements are proved. The results presented in the paper not only improve and extend the main results in Korpelevich(Ekonomika i Matematicheskie Metody,1976,12(4):747-756),but also extend and replenish the corresponding results obtained by Iiduka and Takahashi(Nonlinear Anal TMA,2005,61(3):341-350),Takahashi and Toyoda(J Optim Theory Appl,2003, 118(2):417-428),Nadezhkina and Takahashi(J Optim Theory Appl,2006,128(1):191- 201),and Zeng and Yao(Taiwanese Journal of Mathematics,2006,10(5):1293-1303).  相似文献

This paper presents a new method for solving a nonlinear exterior boundary value problem arising in two-dimensional elasto-plasticity. The procedure is based on the introduction of a sufficiently large circle that divides the exterior domain into a bounded region and an unbounded one. This allows us to consider the Dirichlet-Neumann mapping on the circle, which provides an explicit formula for the stress in terms of the displacement by using an appropriate infinite Fourier series. In this way we can reduce the original problem to an equivalent nonlinear boundary value problem on the bounded domain with a natural boundary condition on the circle. Hence, the resulting weak formulation includes boundary and field terms, which yields the so called boundary-field equation method. Next, we employ the finite Fourier series to obtain a sequence of approximating nonlinear problems from which the actual Galerkin schemes are derived. Finally, we apply some tools from monotone operators to prove existence, uniqueness and approximation results, including Cea type error estimates for the corresponding discrete solutions.  相似文献

We study the initial-boundary value problem for the Fokker–Planck equation in an interval with absorbing boundary conditions. We develop a theory of well-posedness of classical solutions for the problem. We also prove that the resulting solutions decay exponentially for long times. To prove these results we obtain several crucial estimates, which include hypoellipticity away from the singular set for the Fokker–Planck equation with absorbing boundary conditions, as well as the Hölder continuity of the solutions up to the singular set.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative sequence for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a relatively nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse-strongly-monotone mapping in a Banach space. The similarity transform for the steady free convection boundary layer flow of a non-Newtonian fluid (Casson model) with variable wall temperature on a horizontal plate gives a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations which is solved analytically by applying a newly developed method namely the homotopy analysis method (HAM). The velocity and temperature profiles are obtained and the influence of Prandtl number and various physical parameters of the problem on these distributions are discussed in detail and are illustrated graphically through a set of graphs. The validity of our solutions is verified by the numerical results.  相似文献

Concerns with the nonexistence of global solutions to the initial boundary value problem for a nonlinear hyperbolic equation with material damping. Nonexitence theorems of global solutions to the above problem are proved by the energy method, Jensen inequality and the concavity method, respectively. In this paper, the existence of periodic traveling wave solutions with a priori unknown velocity is considered for a coupled map lattice dynamical system. By trasforming our problem into one that involves polynomials, explicit 2- and 3-periodic traveling wave solutions are found, while the other solutions can be computed numerically. Since there does not seem to be any reports on explicit traveling wave solutions, we hope that our results will lead to the discovery of many others.  相似文献

We discuss some sufficient conditions for attractivity of a closed set by using Liapunov functions and show how to apply our results to the study of asymptotic behaviors of solutions in nonautonomous systems. The paper is concerned with the Helmholtz-Rayleigh reciprocity, which implies invariance of mode-into-mode transformation with respect to interchange of incident mode and reflected or transmitted mode. This concept is considered for a wide range of acoustic reflection-transmission problems in anisotropic piezoelectric media. Resorting to the ideas of the Stroh formalism and casting the wave solutions of a boundary problem into a self-orthogonal and complete set, we develop the common approach which allows us to prove the reciprocity properties in a similar fashion for reflection-transmission for various boundary conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, we formulate a level set method in the framework of finite elements‐semi‐Lagrangian methods to compute the solution of the incompressible Navier–Stokes equations with free surface. In our formulation, we use a quasi‐monotone semi‐Lagrangian scheme, which is both unconditionally stable and essentially non oscillatory, to compute the advective terms in the Navier–Stokes equations, the transport equation and the equation of the reinitialization stage for the level set function. The method we propose is quite robust and flexible with regard to the mesh and the geometry of the domain, as well as the magnitude of the Reynolds number. We illustrate the performance of the method in several examples, which range from a benchmark problem to test the volume conservation property of the method to the flow past a NACA0012 foil at high Reynolds number. We study an unsteady nonlinear fluid–structure interaction problem which is a simplified model to describe blood flow through viscoelastic arteries. We consider a Newtonian incompressible two-dimensional flow described by the Navier–Stokes equations set in an unknown domain depending on the displacement of a structure, which itself satisfies a linear viscoelastic beam equation. The fluid and the structure are fully coupled via interface conditions prescribing the continuity of the velocities at the fluid–structure interface and the action–reaction principle. We prove that strong solutions to this problem are global-in-time. We obtain, in particular that contact between the viscoelastic wall and the bottom of the fluid cavity does not occur in finite time. To our knowledge, this is the first occurrence of a no-contact result, and of the existence of strong solutions globally in time, in the frame of interactions between a viscous fluid and a deformable structure.  相似文献
