We investigate the multisymplectic Euler box scheme for the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation. A new completely explicit six-point scheme is derived. Numerical experiments of the new scheme with comparisons to the Zabusky-Kruskal scheme, the multisymplectic 12-point scheme, the narrow box scheme and the spectral method are made to show nice numerical stability and ability to preserve the integral invariant for long-time integration.  相似文献

For two LC circuits with mutual-inductance, we introduce a new quantization scheme in the context of number- phase quantization through the standard Lagrangian formalism. The commutative relation between the charge operator and the magnetic flux operator is derived. Then we use the Heisenberg equation of motion to obtain the current and voltage equation across the inductance and capacity. The results clearly show how the current and voltage in a single LC circuit are affected by the circuit parameters and inductance coupling coettlcient. In addition, adopting invariant eigen-operator method the energy-level gap of the dynamic Hamiltonian which describes two LC circuits with mutual-inductance is obtained.  相似文献

In this work we introduce PRIN-3D (PRoto-code for Internal flows modeled by Navier-Stokes equations in 3-Dimensions), a new high level algebraic language (Matlab$^®$) based code, by discussing some fundamental aspects regarding its basic solving kernel and by describing the design of an innovative advection scheme. The main focus was on designing a memory and computationally efficient code that, due to the typical conciseness of the Matlab coding language, could allow for fast and effective implementation of new models or algorithms. Innovative numerical methods are discussed in the paper. The pressure equation is derived with a quasi-segregation technique leading to an iterative scheme obtained within the framework of a global preconditioning procedure. Different levels of parallelization are obtainable by exploiting special pressure variable ordering patterns that lead to a block-structured Poisson-like matrix. Moreover, the new advection scheme has the potential of a controllable artificial diffusivity. Preliminary results are shown including a fully three-dimensional internal laminar flow evolving in a relatively complex geometry and a 3D methane-air flame simulated with the aid of libraries based on the Flamelet model.  相似文献

We present a new plasma-based method of guiding an electromagnetic pulse. The scheme consists of an inhomogeneous magnetic field and a uniform density plasma, in contrast to existing schemes that rely on transverse plasma density gradients but need not be magnetized. The refractive index of a magnetized plasma depends on the strength and direction of the magnetic field as well as the plasma density. A guiding channel is formed by using field inhomogeneity to generate the desired transverse profile of the index of refraction. The concept is analyzed with an envelope equation and, for the specific example of a wiggler magnetic field, with a two-dimension particle-in-cell simulation. A simplified model of this scheme as producing a magnetic wall in analogy to metallic waveguides is presented, for which corresponding approximate relations for the guided mode axial wavelength and radius are derived as functions of the plasma and magnetic field parameter. These are seen to be in good agreement with particle-in-cell simulation results. Since the desired inhomogeneity of the refractive index can be made easily when the electromagnetic wave frequency is close to the cyclotron frequency, this guiding scheme is most readily applied in the microwave regime.  相似文献

A semi-discrete scheme about time for the non-stationary Navier-Stokes equations is presented firstly, then a new fully discrete finite volume element (FVE) formulation based on macroelement is directly established from the semi-discrete scheme about time. And the error estimates for the fully discrete FVE solutions are derived by means of the technique of the standard finite element method. It is shown by numerical experiments that the numerical results are consistent with theoretical conclusions. Moreover, it is shown that the FVE method is feasible and efficient for finding the numerical solutions of the non-stationary Navier-Stokes equations and it is one of the most effective numerical methods among the FVE formulation, the finite element formulation, and the finite difference scheme.  相似文献

This article deals with the numerical solution to the magneto-thermo-elasticity model, which is a system of the third order partial differential equations. By introducing a new function, the model is transformed into a system of the second order generalized hyperbolic equations. A priori estimate with the conservation for the problem is established. Then a three-level finite difference scheme is derived. The unique solvability, unconditional stability and second-order convergence in $L_{\infty}$-norm of the difference scheme are proved. One numerical example is presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

This Letter proposes a new numerical scheme for integrating the non-linear diffusion equation. It is shown that it is linearly stable. Some tests are presented comparing this scheme to a popular decentered version of the linearized Crank-Nicholson scheme, showing that, although this scheme is slightly less accurate in treating the highly resolved waves, (i) the new scheme better treats highly non-linear systems, (ii) better handles the short waves, (iii) for a given test bed turns out to be three to four times more computationally cheap, and (iv) is easier in implementation.  相似文献

We present a new formulation of the time-dependent self-interaction correction (TDSIC). It is derived variationally obeying explicitly the constraints on orthonormality of the occupied single-particle orbitals. The thus emerging rather involved symmetry condition amongst the orbitals is dealt with using two separate sets of (occupied) single-particle wavefunctions, related by a unitary transformation. The double-set TDSIC scheme is well suited for numerical implementation. We present results for laser-excited dynamics in a 1D model for a molecule and in fully fledged 3D calculations.  相似文献

We propose a new multiparty simultaneous quantum direct communication scheme based on Creen-Horne- Zeilinger (CHZ) states and dense coding. For achieving high efficiency without leaking any information, four encoding schemes are prepared in advance. The present scheme has the capacity of transmitting (M + 1)M classical bits per group of M-particle CHZ states when there exist M parties. The technique of rearranging particles makes the legal users coequally exchange their messages in the same length. Both high efficiency and excellent security against the common attacks are virtues of this new scheme.  相似文献

The recently proposed scaling law relating the diffusion coefficient and the excess entropy of liquid [Samanta A et al. 2004 Phys. Reu. Lett. 92 145901; Dzugutov M 1996 Nature 381 137], and a quasi-universal relationship between the transport coefficients and excess entropy of dense fluids [Rosenfeld Y 1977 Phys. Rev. A 15 2545],are tested for diverse liquid metals using molecular dynamics simulations. Interatomic potentials derived from the glue potential and second-moment approximation of tight-binding scheme are used to study liquid metals.Our simulation results give sound support to the above-mentioned universal scaling laws. Following Dzugutov,we have also reached a new universal scaling relationship between the viscosity coefficient and excess entropy.The simulation results suggest that the reduced transport coefficients can be expressed approximately in terms of the corresponding packing density.  相似文献

Using even and odd coherent states, we define a new state, which is called the spin-type W state. With the spin-type W states, we provide a new scheme for testing fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics and refuting local hidden variable theory without using inequalities. Finally, a scheme for preparing the spin-type W states, and discussion of experimental possibility and the effect of the measurement on physical observables due to a close orthogonality of the two coherent states are given.  相似文献

We present an effective scheme to teleport an unknown ionic entangled internal state via trapped ions without joint Bell-state measurement. In the constructed quantum channel process, we adopt entanglement swapping to avoid decrease of entanglement during the distribution of particles. Thus our scheme provides new prospects for quantum teleportation over longer distance. The distinct advantages of our scheme are that our scheme is insensitive to heating of vibrational mode and can be generalized to teleport an N-ion electronic entangled GHZ class state. Furthermore, in our scheme the success probability can reach 1.  相似文献

We propose a new scheme for realizing a distant two-qubit controlled-U gate with nearest qubit-qubit interaction. The present scheme does not need measurement. Furthermore, it is noted that the two-qubit CNOT gates required by the scheme are greatly reduced when compared with the conventional method based on SWAP operations. The scheme is useful in quantum computing with solid-state systems where only interaction between nearest systems is available.  相似文献

This Letter investigates the function projective synchronization of different chaotic systems with unknown parameters. By Lyapunov stability theory, the adaptive control law and the parameter update law are derived to make the states of two different chaotic systems asymptotically synchronized up to a desired scaling function. Numerical simulations on Lorenz system and Newton-Leipnik system are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

Structures with unique electromagnetic properties are designed based on the approach of spatial coordinate transformations of Maxwell's equations. Thisapproach is applied to scheme out invisible elliptic cylinder cloaks, which provide more feasibility for cloaking arbitrarily shaped objects. The transformation expressions for the anisotropic material parameters and the field distribution are derived. The cloaking performances of ideal and lossy elliptic cylinder cloaks are investigated by finite element simulations. It is found that the cloaking performance will degrade in the forward direction withincreasing loss.  相似文献

In this Letter, we investigate function projective synchronization of two-cell quantum-CNN chaotic oscillators using nonlinear adaptive controller. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, the nonlinear adaptive control law is derived to make the state of two chaotic systems function projective synchronized. Two numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed nonlinear adaptive control scheme, which is more effective than that in previous literature.  相似文献

We review the generic scheme of the star-product construction and study in detail the star-product scheme based on the tomographic map. This Letter investigates projective synchronization between the drive system and response complex dynamical system. An impulsive control scheme is adapted to synchronize the drive-response dynamical system to a desired scalar factor. By using the stability theory of the impulsive differential equation, the criteria for the projective synchronization are derived. The feasibility of the impulsive control of the projective synchronization is demonstrated in the drive-response dynamical system.  相似文献
