A simple, rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of platinum. 5-(4-Nitrophenylazo)-8-(p-toluenesulphonamido)quinoline (NPTSQ) reacts with platinum(II) almost instantaneously in alkaline solution to form a violet-red 1:2 complex with an absorption maximum at 640 nm. Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range 0-1 mug/ml platinum. The molar absorptivity is 1.37 x 10(5) 1.mole(-1).cm(-1). The method has been used for the determination of microamounts of platinum in catalysts and anode slime.  相似文献

Complex formation between Ni(II), Co(II) and Mn(II) and 3-(2-furyl)-2-mercaptopropenoic and 3-(2-furyl)-2-mercaptopropanoic acids has been studied using glass electrode potentiometry. Ligand-metal ion mixtures in 10% (v/v) ethanol-water containing 0.1 mol dm–3KNO3 were titrated with potassium hydroxide. The e.m.f. data obtained have been analyzed using the linearization method, and initial estimates of protonation constants for the ligands and complex formation constants have been refined with the MINIQUAD program.  相似文献

The partition constants of Cadion, i.e., 1-(p-nitro-phenyl)-3-(p'-azobenzene)-triazene, of its complex with the methylmercuric ion, and of methylmercury chloride were determined in the system toluene/aqueous phase containing 40 vol.% methyl alcohol; they have the values of 4.3 x 10(3), 3.0 x 10(3), and 2.6 respectively. The reagent has an absorption maximum at 406 nm, whereas the methylmercury complex at 460 nm. The K(HR) value corresponding to the H(+) + R(-) right harpoon over left harpoon HR equilibrium is 10(10.85), HR being the reagent molecule and H belongs to the NH of the triazenic group (NNNH). The K(ext) value corresponding to the equilibrium H(3)CHg(+) + (HR)(o) right harpoon over left harpoon (H(3)CHgR)(o) + H(+) is 1.0, where the "o" indicates the species present in the organic phase. The reagent/H(3)CHg(+) combination ratio is 1/1. The formation constant of the methylmercury complex, K(H(3)CHgR), which corresponds to the equilibrium H(3)CHg(+) + R(-) right harpoon over left harpoon H(3)CHgR, has a value of 10(10.8) as estimated by means of two different methods. The IR spectra allowed some conclusions to be drawn concerning the formation of the complex. The complex is stable up to 180 degrees , and the reagent up to 140 degrees . The molar absorptivity is of 3.46 x 10(4) 1.mole(-1).cm(-1) and the H(3)CHg(+) can be determined in the range 0.025-4 ppm. The determination is highly selective.  相似文献

A new Eu(III) complex, EuL3(phen), was synthesized, where L is the abbreviation of de-protonated 1-(7-(tert-butyl)-9-ethyl-9H-carbazol-2-yl)-4,4,4-trifluorobutane-1,3-dione (HL), phen is the abbreviation of 1,10-phenanthroline. The Eu(III) complex was characterized by element analysis, IR, 1H NMR, UV-visible absorption spectroscopy, thermogravimetric anal-ysis (TGA), and photoluminescence measurements (PL). TGA shows that thermal stability of the complex is up to 325 oC. PL measurement indicates that the Eu(III) complex exhibits intense red-emission and extends their excitation bands to visible region. LEDs device was successfully fabricated by precoating complex EuL3(phen) onto 460 nm blue-emitting InGaN chip. The emission of device shows that the complex can act as red phosphor in combination with 460 nm blue-emitting chips. This europium complex based on 1-(7-(tert-butyl)-9-ethyl-9H-carbazol-2-yl)-4,4,4-trifluorobutane-1,3-dione is a kind of interesting red-emitting material excited by blue light, which could avoid the damage of excitation by UV light.  相似文献

A rapid, sensitive, simple and selective spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of micro-quantities of maneb (manganese ethylenebisdithiocarbamate) after extraction of the manganese-PAN complex in isobutyl methyl ketone (MIBK). The complex absorbs strongly at 550 nm. Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range 0.37-3.75 microg/ml. The molar absorptivity was found to be 4.1 x 10(4) l. mole(-1) . cm(-1). The developed method has been applied to the determination of maneb in commercial formulations, synthetic mixtures, grain and in the presence of various other dithiocarbamates.  相似文献

Abstract

A spectrophotometric study of the Pd(II) complex of a reagent 2-(5-Bromo-2-Pyridylazo)-5-(diethylamino)-Phenol (5-Br-PADAP) is presented. A violet complex is formed at pH 3.53, and shows maximal absorbance at 585 nm with molar absorptivity of 3.86 × 104 1. mol?1 cm?1. Beer's law is obeyed up to 50 μ of Pd(II). The method offers the advantages of simplicity, high precision, requires no extraction and is very selective, where 5.0 mg Pt(VI) and 0.3 mg Au(III) ions do not interfere.  相似文献

报道了显色剂1-(4-硝基苯基)-3-(2-吡嗪)-三氮烯化合物的合成及其与镉(Ⅱ)的显色反应。在非离子表面活性剂Triton X-100存在下,pH 10.5的Na2B4O7-NaOH的缓冲介质中,该试剂能与镉(Ⅱ)与发生显色反应,形成摩尔比为4∶1的黄棕色配合物,配合物在波长453 nm处有最大吸收峰,表观摩尔吸光系数ε为6.90×104L.mol-1.cm-1,镉(Ⅱ)质量浓度在0~0.56μg/mL范围内遵守比尔定律。用拟定方法测不同废水中的镉(Ⅱ)。  相似文献

Treatment of MoCl(3)(thf)(3) with LiSC(6)H(3)-2,6-(SiMe(3))(2) (LiSAr) resulted in formation of the pi-sandwiched bis-arylthiolato complex, Mo(eta(5)-SC(6)H(3)-2,6-(SiMe(3))(2))(eta(7)-SC(6)H(3)-2,6-(SiMe(3))(2)) (1), while the analogous reaction with LiSC(6)H(3)-2-Ph-6-SiMe(3) afforded the trithiolate complex Mo(SC(6)H(3)-2-Ph-6-SiMe(3))(3) (3). The acetonitrile adduct Mo(SAr)(2)(CH(3)CN)(3) (2) was isolated from the CH(3)CN solution of 1, in which one acetonitrile is coordinated to the metal center in an eta(2)-fashion. Structures of 1, 2, and 3 have been determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Reaction between gadolinium(III) and 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5- Br-PADAP) was studied for delineating optimal conditions for complexation. This reagent can be used for the spectrophotometric determination of Gd(III) in concentrations ranging from 0.04 to 1.2 ppm (a = 1.76(+/- 0.03) x 10(5) (1.(-1) mole(-1). cm). The reaction takes place at a pH between 9.2 and 11.6. In the presence of Triton X-100 this complex is soluble in water. In order to overcome difficulties caused by the presence of other lanthanides, an ion exchange chromatographic technique was used.  相似文献

A comparative study has been made of the complexation of uranium(VI) by 2-(2-thiazolyl)-4-methoxyphenol (TAMH) and 2-(2-thiazolylazo)-5-methoxyphenol(TAMR). The complexes are less stable and have lower molar absorptivities than the PAR and TAR complexes but are still useful for determination of uranium. The TAMH chelate can be extracted into isobutyl methyl ketone. Both complexes are 1:1 metal :ligand. For the TAMH complex log beta(1) = 8.8, = 1.4 x 10(4) at 610 mmu; for the TAMR complex log beta(1) = 8.1, = 2.0 x 10(4) at 530 mmu.  相似文献

A sensitive method for the spectrophotometric determination of indium with 1-(2-pyridylmethylideneamine)-3-(salicylideneamine)thiourea is proposed. A yellow complex is formed at pH 4.5 (succinate buffer) in a medium containing 40% dimethylformamide, and the absorbance is measured at 415 nm. The molar absorptivity is 6.2 x 10(4)l.mole(-1).cm(-1). The relative standard deviation of the procedure is 1.5%. The method has been applied to determination of indium in a nickel alloy and three zinc ores, with prior isolation of indium by co-precipitation with ammonia and extraction into n-butyl acetate from 5M hydrobromic acid.  相似文献

Mn(hfac)(2) complexes of [2-(5-pyrimidinyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-4,5-dihydro-1H- imidazoline-1-oxyl 3-oxide] (1) and its 2-(3-pyridyl) analogue (2) were prepared. Both complexes formed similar dimer structures. However, their packing patterns were considerably different. The pyrimidine dimers were aligned to form a linear chain structure, and each dimer was weakly bound by two sets of O6-C2 short contacts. In the pyridine dimer complex, two structurally similar but independent dimers were alternatively arranged, and two dimer-dimer contacts, O6-C2 (3.13 A) and O6-C3 (3.30 A), were observed. The pyrimidine complex showed strong antiferromagnetic behavior in the high temperature region (150-300 K) and weak ferromagnetic behavior below 100 K. Two models were used to analyze these magnetic properties. One is a quintet-septet thermal equilibrium model with mean-field approximation, which can reproduce the round minimum observed at about 150 K in chi(p)T plots (J(1)/k(B) = -148 +/- 2 K with theta = +2.5 +/- 0.1 K). The other is a ferromagnetic S = 2 chain model to fit the chi(p)T values in the lower temperature region (J(S=2)/k(B) = +0.31 +/- 0.01 K). The pyridine complex showed antiferromagnetic interactions both in the high and low temperature regions. The magnetic behavior was similarly analyzed with the following parameters: J(1)/k(B) = -140 +/- 2 K with theta = -0.55 +/- 0.05 K, and J(S=2)/k(B) = -0.075 +/- 0.003 K. The ligand-ligand interactions for both of the complexes were theoretically analyzed. The calculated results agreed well with the experiments. The stronger antiferromagnetic behavior observed in both the complexes at high temperatures was attributed to the magnetic interaction between the Mn(II) and the coordinating nitroxide oxygen atom. The weaker ferromagnetic interaction, J(S=2)/k(B) = +0.31 +/- 0.01 K, in the pyrimidine complex was attributed to the coulombic O6-C2 contact. Antiferromagnetic interaction J(S=2)/k(B) = -0.075 +/- 0.003 K in the pyridine complex was attributed to the O6-C3 contact.  相似文献

The compound 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenyl (1) has been made by hydrolysis of S-(2,6- diformyl-4-methylphenyl)dimethylthiocarbamate followed by oxidation with I2. Condensation of 1 with 4 equiv. of 3-dimethylaminopropylamine and subsequent reduction with Na/benzophenone results in the sodium salt of the Schiff base binucleating ligand 2,6-(bis(3-dimethylamino)-propyliminomethyl)-4-methyl-thiophenolate (2, NaL). The ligand (L) binds 2 eq of Cu(I) and crystallizes from MeCN solution to give an air sensitive tetracopper(I) complex with the formula [Cu4L2(MeCN)](PF6)2 (3)·0.5 MeCN·0.25 MeOH as determined by X-ray crystallography. The complex contains three distorted trigonal planar and one distorted tetrahedral Cu1 centers with Cu---S bond lengths short for their respective coordination geometries. In DMSO solution, 1H NMR spectra of 3 reflect free ligand symmetry suggesting dissociation into dimers. Cyclic voltammetry of 3 in MeCN reveals one irreversible oxidation at 110 mV (vs SCE).  相似文献

(±)-Piperidine-2-carboxylic acid ((±)-pipecolic acid) has been resolved by the fractional crystallisation of diastereomeric palladium(II) complexes containing orthometallated (S)-(−)-1-[1-dimethylamino)ethyl]naphthalene. The enantiomers of the acid were liberated from the individual configurationally homogeneous diastereomers of the complex in high yield with []D ± 26.0 (c 1.00, H2O). 将具有荧光特性的8-氨基喹啉和吡啶类试剂结合, 并引入杂环三氮烯结构, 合成了新型荧光试剂1-(8-喹啉)-3-(2-吡啶)-三氮烯(QPyT). 其结构经元素分析、红外光谱和核磁共振谱证实. 研究结果表明, 在碱性介质中, 该试剂在λex/λem=216 nm/343 nm处产生强荧光, 并且能被Pb(Ⅱ)猝灭. 据此建立了QPyT测定Pb(Ⅱ)的新型荧光分析法. 该方法的线性范围为1.6×10-7~1.2×10-5 mol /L, 检测限为9.0×10-8 mol/L. 将其应用于水中Pb(Ⅱ)的测定, 结果令人满意.  相似文献

A low barrier in the reaction pathway between the double Rydberg isomer of OH(3) (-) and a hydride-water complex indicates that the former species is more difficult to isolate and characterize through anion photoelectron spectroscopy than the well known double Rydberg anion (DRA), tetrahedral NH(4) (-). Electron propagator calculations of vertical electron detachment energies (VEDEs) and isosurface plots of the electron localization function disclose that the transition state's electronic structure more closely resembles that of the DRA than that of the hydride-water complex. Possible stabilization of the OH(3) (-) DRA through hydrogen bonding or ion-dipole interactions is examined through calculations on O(2)H(5) (-) species. Three O(2)H(5) (-) minima with H(-)(H(2)O)(2), hydrogen-bridged, and DRA-molecule structures resemble previously discovered N(2)H(7) (-) species and have well separated VEDEs that may be observable in anion photoelectron spectra.  相似文献

The potentially tridentate ligand 2-(8-aminoquinolino)-4,6-di-tert-butylphenol, H[1LAP], has been synthesized and its coordination chemistry with Mn(IV), Fe(III), and Co(III) has been investigated by X-ray crystallography, electro- and magnetochemistry, electronic, Mossbauer and EPR spectroscopies. The following complexes have been prepared [MnIV(1LAP-H)2](1), St=3/2; [MnIV(1LAP-H)(1LISQ)](PF6).CH2Cl2 (2), St= 1; [FeIII(1LISQ)2](ClO4).0.5H2O (3), St=1/2; [FeIII(1LISQ)(3,5-dtcat)]2 (4), St= 0; K[CoII(1LISQ)(1LIBQ)](NCS)2 (5), St= 1; [CoIII2(NCS)2(1LAP-H)2(AQ)] (6), St=0, where (1LAP-H)2- corresponds to the o-iminophenolate(2-) dianion, (1LISQ)- is the o-iminobenzosemiquinonate(1-) pi radical derivative of the ligand H[1LAP], (1LIBQ)0 is the neutral iminobenzoquinone ligand, and 3,5-dtcat is 3,5-di-tert-butylcatecholate(2-) and N,N-coordinated (AQ) is 8-aminoquinoline. It is shown that the pi radical anions in 2, 3, 4 couple antiferromagnetically to the respective paramagnetic metal ion. Complex 4 is a dinuclear neutral complex with weak antiferromagnetic coupling between two [FeIII1LISQ)(3,5-dtcat)] halves. The asymmetrically ligated complex 6 contains two bridging (1LAP-H)2- ligands and two diamagnetic CoIII ions. In contrast, 5 is correctly described as [CoII(1LISQ)(1LIBQ)]+ rather than [CoIII(1LISQ)2]+ since it possesses a temperature-independent magnetic moment of mueff(10-298 K)= 3.0 muB indicating an St=1 ground state which is attained via strong antiferromagnetic coupling (|J> or =200 cm(-1)) between a high spin cobalt(II) ion (SCo=3/2) and a single pi radical anion (Srad=1/2).  相似文献

A method for the extraction-spectrophotometric determination of palladium with 3,4,4a,5-tetrahydro-3,3,4a-trimethyl-7-(substituted)-pyrimido(1,6-a)benzimidazole-1-thiol (PBT) is described. PBT-Pd(II) complex is extracted from an acidic aqueous solution (0.01-0.5M HClO(4)) into a chloroform layer. The absorbance is measured at 438 nm and the molar absorptivity found to be 1.033 x 10(4)M(-1) cm(-1). The complex system conforms to Beer's law over the range 1.9-28.5 mug/ml palladium(II). The effects of pH (2-6), HClO(4) concentration, PBT concentration and shaking time were studied. The ratio of metal ion to ligand molecules in the coloured complex was found to be 1:4. The tolerance limit for many metals have been determined. Finally, the method has been applied successfully to the determination of palladium in synthetic mixtures and in the standard palladium carbon powder (palladium catalyst).  相似文献
