Di(2-phenyl-8-quinolyl) diselenide [2-(C6H5)C9H5NSe]2 and zinc bis[(2-phenyl-9-quinolyl)selenolate], Zn [2-(C6H5)C9H5NSe]2, have been synthesized. The molecular and crystal structure of the compounds were determined by X-ray structural analysis. The structures of the 2-phenyl-8-quinolylselenol ligand in the molecules of di(2-phenyl-8-quinolyl) diselenide and in the intracomplex compound of zinc are compared. The effect of the phenyl group in position 2 of the quinoline nucleus on the formation of the molecules and their packing in the crystal structure is discussed.  相似文献

Abstract

Di(2-pyridyl)N, N-di[(8-quinolyl)amino]methane (DPQAM) was used for the substoichiometric extraction and photometric determination of perchlorate and iodide in the ranges 10–1000 and 50–1000 ppm, respectively, by extraction of the Fe(DPQAM)2X2 (X = C1O4 ? or I?) into chloroform. The determination ranges were found to be dependent on the Fe(II) concentration used.  相似文献

A new chelating reagent, bis(8-hydroxy-2-methyl-5-quinolyl) methane, has been prepared and characterized. It does not react with aluminum but does chelate with many other metals. Analytical data did not permit a decision on the possibility that some of these chelates arc polymeric.  相似文献

It has been shown that the nature of the substituent and its position in the quinoline ring markedly affects the antitumor activity and toxicity of di(8-quinolyl) disulfides. The greatest cytotoxicity in the series of methyl derivatives was shown by the 7-, 6-, and 3-isomers towards HT-1080 (human fibrosarcoma) and MG-22A (mouse hepatoma) tumor cells while the 2-methyl derivatives generally have no effect on these cells. High cytotoxicity was also shown (LC50 <1 μg/ml) by other 7-substituted compounds (Cl, PhO, PhS) but they also appear to be highly toxic towards normal NIH 3Y3 mouse embryonic fibroblasts. A similar trend was observed in the series of 5-substituted compounds (NH2, Cl, OMe, NO2) which were highly active towards tumor cells but were toxic to normal cells. The best selectivity was found for the 6-substituted quinolines, the 6-methoxy derivative at low concentration brought about the death of tumor cells but appeared much less toxic towards normal fibroblasts (LC50 100 μg/ml with a corresponding LD50 of 874 mg/kg ). __________ Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 5, pp. 750–754, May 2007.  相似文献

1,3-Bis[(2-pyridyl)methyleneamino]thiourea (PMAT) and 1,3-bis[(2-pyridyl)methyleneamino]-guanidine (PMAG) have been prepared. They have been examined and characterized by infrared and ultraviolet spectroscopy. A spectrophotometric method has been used for determination of the protonation constants of the reagents. The quinolyl group has no interaction with the central metal, but it readily binds external metal. The enthalpies of dissolution for di(N,N-di(2,4,6,-trinitrophenyl)amino)-ethylenediamine (DTAED) in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) were measured using a RD496-2000 Calvet microcalorimeter at 298.15?K. Empirical formulae for the calculation of the enthalpies of dissolution (??diss H) were obtained from the experimental data of the dissolution processes of DTAED in DMSO and NMP. The linear relationships between the rate (k) and the amount of substance (a) were found. The corresponding kinetic equations describing the two dissolution processes were $ {{{\rm{d}}\alpha } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{{\rm{d}}\alpha } {{\rm{d}}t}}} \right. \kern-0em} {{\rm{d}}t}} = 10^{ - 2.68} \left( {1 - \alpha } \right)^{0.84} $ for the dissolution of DTAED in DMSO, and $ {{{\rm{d}}\alpha } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{{\rm{d}}\alpha } {{\rm{d}}t}}} \right. \kern-0em} {{\rm{d}}t}} = 10^{ - 2.79} \left( {1 - \alpha } \right)^{0.87} $ for the dissolution of DTAED in NMP, respectively.  相似文献

Poly[(N-benzyldiphenylamino)methane] was synthesized by the condensation polymerization of benzyldiphenylamine and formalin (30% HCOH in water) and examined for electrical and optoelectronic properties. Dark conductivity and photoconductivity of the polymer film were investigated by steady-state measurements. Current-voltage characteristics and intrinsic photoconduction of the polymer in the visible wavelength range were studied. A superlinear current increase is tentatively explained in the light of the Poole-Frenkel effect. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss parameters of the polymer are independent of frequency (50 Hz–10 kHz) and temperature (273–323 K), respectively. The growth and decay rates of the photocurrent depend on the applied voltage, and the photocurrent varies directly with the light intensity. The activation energies for dark conductivity and photoconductivity are 1.16 eV and 1.05 eV, respectively, and the optical energy band gap as evaluated from absorption coefficient spectra is 2.86 eV.  相似文献

The synthesis and analytical properties of di-2-pyridyl ketone guanylhydrazone (DPGH) are described. The reagent was tested with 37 cations but only Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Fe(II) and Pd(II) gave colored complexes. The spectral characteristics of the reagent and the above complexes as well as the procedures for a selective determination of total iron, cobalt(II), copper(II), nickel(II) and palladium(II) are reported.  相似文献

Two new cadmium(II) complexes,[Cd2L2Cl4] (1) and [CdL2](ClO4)2 (2) {L = 8-[(pyridylmethyl)amino]-quinoline}, have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray single-crystal structure analysis. Each neutral L is a tridentate terminal ligand. Complex 2 is mononuclear compound whereas 1 is a di- chloride-bridged dinuclear compound. Interactions of the complexes with CT- DNA have been investigated by UV absorption, fluorescence and circular dichroism spectroscopy. Synthesis of [Co(pyDPT)Cl](ClO4)2 from pentadentate ligand and cobalt(II) yields one cis isomer. New [(pyridine-2-carboxaldhyde)-3-isatin]-bishydrazone (cpish), [(2-acetylpyridine)-3-isatin]-bishydrazone (apish), and [(2-benzoyl pyridine)-3-isatin]-bishydrazone (bpish) have been synthesized and characterized by the elemental analysis, IR, NMR and electronic spectra. The bioefficiency of the [(2-pyridyl)-3-isatin]-bishydrazones have been examined for their in-vitro antibacterial and antifungal activity against many types of bacteria and fungal cultures which are common contaminants of the environment in Egypt and some of which are involved in human and animal diseases or in plant diseases or frequently reported from contaminated soil, water, and food substances. The results of these studies indicate that the [(2-pyridyl)-3-isatin]-bishydrazones possess notable antimicrobial properties.  相似文献
