The title compound, C23H32O4, has a 3β configuration, with the epoxy O atom at 16α,17α. Rings A and C have slightly distorted chair conformations. Because of the presence of the C5=C6 double bond, ring B assumes an 8β,9α‐half‐chair conformation slightly distorted towards an 8β‐sofa. Ring D has a conformation close to a 14α‐envelope. The acetoxy and acetyl substituents are twisted with respect to the average molecular plane of the steroid. The conformation of the mol­ecule is compared with that given by a quantum chemistry calculation using the RHF–AM1 (RHF = Roothaan Hartree–Fock) Hamiltonian model. Cohesion of the crystal can be attributed to van der Waals interactions and weak intermolecular C—H?O interactions, which link the mol­ecules head‐to‐tail along [101].  相似文献

In the title compound, C21H30O3, a potential inhibitor of aromatase, all rings are fused trans. Rings A and C have chair conformations which are slightly flattened, whereas the conformation of ring B is close to a half‐chair. Ring D has a 14α‐envelope conformation. The steroid nucleus has a small twist, as shown by the C19—C10⋯C13—C18 (steroid numbering) torsion angle of −6.9 (3)°. Ab initio calculations of the equilibrium geometry of the mol­ecule reproduce this small twist, which appears to be due to the conformation of ring B rather than to packing effects.  相似文献

The structure determination of the title compound, rotenone α‐oxime [systematic name: 1,2,12,12a‐tetra­hydro‐8,9‐di­meth­oxy‐2‐(1‐methyl­ethenyl)‐[1]­benzo­py­rano­[3,4‐b]­furo­[2,3‐h][1]benzo­pyran‐6(6H)‐one oxime], C23H23NO6, confirms that the mol­ecule has an approximately V‐shaped structure. One of the rings has a typical cyclo­hexene‐like monoplanar conformation and the central ring adopts a 1,2‐diplanar conformation.  相似文献

Biotransformation is the structural modification of compounds using enzymes as the catalysts and it plays a key role in the synthesis of pharmaceutically important compounds. 10β,17β‐Dihydroxy‐17α‐methylestr‐4‐en‐3‐one dihydrate, C19H28O3·2H2O, was obtained from the fungal biotransformation of methyloestrenolone. The structure was refined using the classical independent atom model (IAM) and a transferred multipolar atom model using the ELMAM2 database. The results from the two refinements have been compared. The ELMAM2 refinement has been found to be superior in terms of the refinement statistics. It has been shown that certain electron‐density‐derived properties can be calculated on the basis of the transferred parameters for crystals which diffract to ordinary resolution.  相似文献

The structures of 3β‐acet­oxy‐9α,11α‐ep­oxy‐5α‐lanost‐9(11)‐en‐7‐one and 3β‐acet­oxy‐9β,11β‐ep­oxy‐5α‐lanost‐9(11)‐en‐7‐one, C32H52O4, differ in their respective substituted cyclo­hexa­none rings but adopt similar conformations in the other three rings. In the title compound, C31H40N2O·H2O, the outer two six‐membered rings are in chair conformations, while the central ring is in an 8β,9α‐half‐chair conformation. The five‐membered ring adopts a 13β‐envelope conformation and the cyano­benzyl­idene moiety has an E configuration with respect to the hydroxyl group at position 17. The steroid nuclei are linked by intermolecular O—H?O and O—H?N hydrogen bonds to form a molecular network. The molecular packing has an interesting feature, with the steroids aligned parallel to the b axis, forming a closed loop through hydrogen bonds linked via water mol­ecules.  相似文献

The title compounds, both C23H34O5, are the 5α and 5β configurations of two diacetate epimers. The 5β‐diacetate crystallizes in an hexagonal structure, unusual for steroid molecules. The unit cell has an accessible solvent volume of 358 Å3, responsible for clathrate behaviour. The 5β‐epimer also features some shorter than average bond lengths in the 3α,4β‐acetoxy groups. The conformations of the molecules of both epimers are compared with those obtained through abinitio quantum chemistry calculations. Cohesion of the crystals can be attributed to van der Waals and weak molecular C—H⋯O interactions.  相似文献

The title cyclohexenone 1d undergoes photodimerization selectively at the exocyclic C?C bond to give a 1 : 1 mixture of 1,2‐dialkynyl‐1,2‐dimethylcyclobutanes 6 and 7 . On irradiation in the presence of 2,3‐dimethylbuta‐1,3‐diene, 1d affords bicyclo[8.4.0]tetradeca‐1,2,3,7‐tetraen‐11‐one 9 . This – formal – (6+4)‐cycloadduct undergoes quantitative isomerization to 3‐cycloheptadienyl‐2,5,5‐trimethylcyclohex‐2‐enone 11 on treatment with basic silica gel.  相似文献

Lophenol, cholest-4α-methyl-7-en-3β-ol (1), obtained from Dracaena cochinchinensis (Lour.) S. C. Chen, was structurally modified. It was acetylated to protect 3β-hydroxyl group, and then oxidised by selenium dioxide in acetic acid to give cholest-4a-methyl-8-en-3β, Ta-diol diacetate (3). This compound 3 is unstable in chloroform solution or when heated and easily converted to a diene compound, cholest-4a-methyl-7,14-dien-3β-ol acetate (4). The structures of 3 and 4 were elucidated by means of IR, ^1H NMR, ^13C NMR and MS, and the absolute configuration of 3 was established by X-ray crystallography. The property of 3 was also discussed in this paper. Both 3 and 4 are new compounds and were reported for the first time.  相似文献

The central six‐membered ring B is in an 8β,9α‐half‐chair conformation, while the five‐membered ring D adopts a 13β,14α‐half‐chair conformation. The cyano­benzyl­idene moiety has an E configuration with respect to the carbonyl group at position C17. The dihedral angle between the planes of the steroid nucleus and the cyano­benzyl­idene moiety is 22.61 (15)°. Intermolecular O—H⃛N hydrogen bonds formed between the hydroxyl group of the steroid and the N atom of the cyano­benzyl­idene moiety of symmetry‐related mol­ecules link the steroid mol­ecules into chains which run parallel to the b axis.  相似文献
