The aim of this work is to characterize the families of Frobenius (respectively, contact) solvable Lie algebras that satisfies the following condition: 𝔤 = 𝔥?V, where 𝔥?𝔤𝔩(V), |dim V?dim 𝔤|≤1 and NilRad(𝔤) = V, V being a finite dimensional vector space. In particular, it is proved that every complex Frobenius solvable Lie algebra is decomposable, whereas that in the real case there are only two indecomposable Frobenius solvable Lie algebras.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a Minkowski Lie algebra, which is the natural generalization of the notion of a real quadratic Lie algebra (metric Lie algebra). We then study the positive definite Minkowski Lie algebras and obtain a complete classification of the simple ones. Finally, we present some applications of our results to Finsler geometry and give a classification of bi-invariant Finsler metrics on Lie groups. In this paper we prove that there are no self-extensions of simple modules over restricted Lie algebras of Cartan type. The proof given by Andersen for classical Lie algebras not only uses the representation theory of the Lie algebra, but also representations of the corresponding reductive algebraic group. The proof presented in the paper follows in the same spirit by using the construction of a infinite-dimensional Hopf algebra D(G) u( ) containing u( ) as a normal Hopf subalgebra, and the representation theory of this algebra developed in our previous work. Finite-dimensional hyperalgebra analogs D(G r ) u( ) have also been constructed, and the results are stated in this setting.  相似文献

The subject matter of this paper is the analysis of some issues related to generalized polar decompositions on Lie groups. This decomposition, depending on an involutive automorphism , is equivalent to a factorization of , being a Lie group, as with and , and was recently discussed by Munthe-Kaas, Quispel and Zanna together with its many applications to numerical analysis. It turns out that, contrary to , an analysis of is a very complicated task. In this paper we derive the series expansion for , obtaining an explicit recurrence relation that completely defines the function in terms of projections on a Lie triple system and a subalgebra of the Lie algebra , and obtain bounds on its region of analyticity. The results presented in this paper have direct application, among others, to linear algebra, integration of differential equations and approximation of the exponential.

We describe the exponential map from an infinite-dimensional Lie algebra to an infinite-dimensional group of operators on a Hilbert space. Notions of differential geometry are introduced for these groups. In particular, the Ricci curvature, which is understood as the limit of the Ricci curvature of finite-dimensional groups, is calculated. In this paper we study the relationship between factorization problems on SU(2n) or more generally on compact Lie groups G and time optimal control problems. Both types of problems naturally arise in physics, such as in quantum computing and in controlling coupled spin systems (NMR‐spectroscopy). In the first part we show that certain factorization problems can be reformulated as time optimal control problems on G. In the second part a necessary condition for the existence of finite optimal factorizations is discussed. At the end we illustrate our results by an example on Euler angle factorizations. In this paper we generalize naturally graded filiform Lie algebras as well as filiform Lie algebras admitting a connected gradation of maximal length, by introducing the concept of c-graded complex filiform Lie algebras. We deal with the particular case of 3-graded filiform Lie algebras and we obtain their classification in arbitrary dimension. In this paper we show that Cartan geometries can be studied via transitive Lie groupoids endowed with a special kind of vector-valued multiplicative 1-forms. This viewpoint leads us to a more general notion, that of Cartan bundle, which encompasses both Cartan geometries and G-structures.  相似文献

Let G be a noncompact connected Lie group, denote with ρ a right Haar measure and choose a family of linearly independent left-invariant vector fields X on G satisfying Hörmander's condition. Let χ be a positive character of G and consider the measure μχ whose density with respect to ρ is χ. In this paper, we introduce Sobolev spaces Lαp(μχ) adapted to X and μχ (1<p<, α0) and study embedding theorems and algebra properties of these spaces. As an application, we prove local well-posedness and regularity results of solutions of some nonlinear heat and Schrödinger equations on the group.  相似文献
