The antipode of a quasitriangular quasi-Turaev group coalgebra is bijective

In order to construct a class of new Turaev-braided group category with nontrivial associativity, the concept of a quasitriangular quasi-Turaev group coalgebras was recently introduced. Inside the definition, the conditions of invertibility of the R-matrix R and bijectivity of the antipode S are required. In this article, we prove that the antipode of a quasitriangular quasi-Turaev group coalgebra without the assumptions about invertibility of the antipode and R-matrix is inner, and a fortiori, bijective. As an application, we prove that for a quasitriangular quasi-Turaev group coalgebra, two conditions mentioned above are unnecessary.     

The coradical of a Jordan (alternative) coalgebra and the quasiregular radical of its dual algebra

It is proved that the orthogonal complement to the coradical of a Jordan (alternative) coalgebra coincides with the quasiregular radical of the dual algebra.     

On the tensor square of non-abelian nilpotent finite-dimensional Lie algebras

For every finite p-group G of order p ⁿ with derived subgroup of order p ^m , Rocco [N.R. Rocco, On a construction related to the nonabelian tensor square of a group, Bol. Soc. Brasil. Mat. 1 (1991), pp. 63–79] proved that the order of tensor square of G is at most p ^n(n?m). This upper bound has been improved recently by the author [P. Niroomand, On the order of tensor square of non abelian prime power groups (submitted)]. The aim of this article is to obtain a similar result for a non-abelian nilpotent Lie algebra of finite dimension. More precisely, for any given n-dimensional non-abelian nilpotent Lie algebra L with derived subalgebra of dimension m we have dim(L???L)?≤?(n???m)(n???1)?+?2. Furthermore for m?=?1, the explicit structure of L is given when the equality holds.

主要研究了极大加代数的对称代数S上互补基本矩阵,给出本征积的概念,证明了S上的Laplace定理,由此推出所有互补基本矩阵的行列式相等,且任意两个互补基本矩阵的行列式中的非零项均一一对应相等.在一个互补基本矩阵的行列式中,对于确定非零项的任一置换,给出了在另一个互补基本矩阵的行列式中找到置换使其确定相同非零项的方法.     

On the tensor algebra of a non-abelian group and applications

We introduce the tensor algebra J() of a crossed complex and give its relations with the James construction for a filtered space. For a group G, we define via multi-derivations the derived algebra I _* G which is isomorphic to the algebra C(JG) of chains on JG We derive from a certain exact sequence for the homology H*JG applications to the homotopy of the suspended classifying space BG.     

Lower bound inequalities for norms of symmetrized tensor powers

Let V be a complex inner product space of positive dimension m with inner product 〈·,·〉, and let T_n(V) denote the set of all n-linear complex-valued functions defined on V×V×?×V (n-copies). By S_n(V) we mean the set of all symmetric members of T_n(V). We extend the inner product, 〈·,·〉, on V to T_n(V) in the usual way, and we define multiple tensor products A₁⊗A₂⊗?⊗A_n and symmetric products A₁·A₂?A_n, where q₁,q₂,…,q_n are positive integers and A_i∈T_qi(V) for each i, as expected. If A∈S_n(V), then A^k denotes the symmetric product A·A?A where there are k copies of A. We are concerned with producing the best lower bounds for ‖A^k‖², particularly when n=2. In this case we are able to show that ‖A^k‖² is a symmetric polynomial in the eigenvalues of a positive semi-definite Hermitian matrix, M_A, that is closely related to A. From this we are able to obtain many lower bounds for ‖A^k‖². In particular, we are able to show that if ω denotes 1/r where r is the rank of M_A, and , then

     

The Schur algorithm and coefficient characterizations for generalized Schur functions

In this paper we analyze the existence of a Schur algorithm and obtain coefficient characterizations for the functions in a generalized Schur class. An application to an interpolation problem of Carathéodory type raised by M.G. Krein and H. Langer is indicated.

     

Expression of the riemann tensor of a submanifold defined by a system of equations in euclidean space

In the paper the Riemann tensor of a submanifold of Euclidean space is expressed in terms of the derivatives of the defining functions and the components of the tangent vectors. The codimension 2 case, in particular the case of a two-dimensional surface inE ⁴, is treated in detail. For a finite free and projective EI category, we prove that Gorenstein-projective modules over its category algebra are closed under the tensor product if and only if each morphism in the given category is a monomorphism.     

Finsler spaces with recurrent pseudocurvature tensor

Sinha [2] has defined pseudocurvature tensor field in ann-dimensional Finsler spaceF _n. In the present paper we have studied some recurrent properties of pseudocurvature tensor.     

On Dual Structures of Novikov-Poisson Algebras

In this paper, the dual structures of Novikov-Poisson algebras will be studied. We will mainly discuss the tenser products of Novikov-Poisson coalgebras and the dual relationships between Novikov-Poisson algebras and Novikov-Poisson coalgebras.
