We develop structural insights into the Littlewood–Richardson graph, whose number of vertices equals the Littlewood–Richardson coefficient \(c_{\lambda ,\mu }^{\nu }\) for given partitions \(\lambda \), \(\mu \), and \(\nu \). This graph was first introduced in Bürgisser and Ikenmeyer (SIAM J Discrete Math 27(4):1639–1681, 2013), where its connectedness was proved. Our insights are useful for the design of algorithms for computing the Littlewood–Richardson coefficient: We design an algorithm for the exact computation of \(c_{\lambda ,\mu }^{\nu }\) with running time \(\mathcal {O}\big ((c_{\lambda ,\mu }^{\nu })^2 \cdot {\textsf {poly}}(n)\big )\), where \(\lambda \), \(\mu \), and \(\nu \) are partitions of length at most n. Moreover, we introduce an algorithm for deciding whether \(c_{\lambda ,\mu }^{\nu } \ge t\) whose running time is \(\mathcal {O}\big (t^2 \cdot {\textsf {poly}}(n)\big )\). Even the existence of a polynomial-time algorithm for deciding whether \(c_{\lambda ,\mu }^{\nu } \ge 2\) is a nontrivial new result on its own. Our insights also lead to the proof of a conjecture by King et al. (Symmetry in physics. American Mathematical Society, Providence, 2004), stating that \(c_{\lambda ,\mu }^{\nu }=2\) implies \(c_{M\lambda ,M\mu }^{M\nu } = M+1\) for all \(M \in \mathbb {N}\). Here, the stretching of partitions is defined componentwise.  相似文献

We consider the model space \(\mathbb {M}^{n}_{K}\) of constant curvature K and dimension \(n\ge 1\) (Euclidean space for \(K=0\), sphere for \(K>0\) and hyperbolic space for \(K<0\)), and we show that given a function \(\rho :[0,\infty )\rightarrow [0, \infty )\) with \(\rho (0)=\mathrm {dist}(x,y)\) there exists a coadapted coupling (X(t), Y(t)) of Brownian motions on \(\mathbb {M}^{n}_{K}\) starting at (xy) such that \(\rho (t)=\mathrm {dist}(X(t),Y(t))\) for every \(t\ge 0\) if and only if \(\rho \) is continuous and satisfies for almost every \(t\ge 0\) the differential inequality
$$\begin{aligned} -(n-1)\sqrt{K}\tan \left( \tfrac{\sqrt{K}\rho (t)}{2}\right) \le \rho '(t)\le -(n-1)\sqrt{K}\tan \left( \tfrac{\sqrt{K}\rho (t)}{2}\right) +\tfrac{2(n-1)\sqrt{K}}{\sin (\sqrt{K}\rho (t))}. \end{aligned}$$
In other words, we characterize all coadapted couplings of Brownian motions on the model space \(\mathbb {M}^{n}_{K}\) for which the distance between the processes is deterministic. In addition, the construction of the coupling is explicit for every choice of \(\rho \) satisfying the above hypotheses.

In this paper, we study the harmonic equation involving subcritical exponent \((P_{\varepsilon })\): \( \Delta u = 0 \), in \(\mathbb {B}^n\) and \(\displaystyle \frac{\partial u}{\partial \nu } + \displaystyle \frac{n-2}{2}u = \displaystyle \frac{n-2}{2} K u^{\frac{n}{n-2}-\varepsilon }\) on \( \mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) where \(\mathbb {B}^n \) is the unit ball in \(\mathbb {R}^n\), \(n\ge 5\) with Euclidean metric \(g_0\), \(\partial \mathbb {B}^n = \mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) is its boundary, K is a function on \(\mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) and \(\varepsilon \) is a small positive parameter. We construct solutions of the subcritical equation \((P_{\varepsilon })\) which blow up at two different critical points of K. Furthermore, we construct solutions of \((P_{\varepsilon })\) which have two bubbles and blow up at the same critical point of K.  相似文献

Let \(\pi _{\varphi }\) (or \(\pi _{\psi }\)) be an automorphic cuspidal representation of \(\text {GL}_{2} (\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\) associated to a primitive Maass cusp form \(\varphi \) (or \(\psi \)), and \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\) be the jth symmetric power lift of \(\pi _{\varphi }\). Let \(a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)\) denote the nth Dirichlet series coefficient of the principal L-function associated to \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\). In this paper, we study first moments of Dirichlet series coefficients of automorphic representations \(\mathrm{sym}^3 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{4}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\), and \(\pi _{\psi }\otimes \mathrm{sym}^2 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{6}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\). For \(3 \le j \le 8\), estimates for \(|a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)|\) on average over a short interval have also been established.  相似文献

Let F be an \(L^2\)-normalized Hecke Maaß cusp form for \(\Gamma _0(N) \subseteq {\mathrm{SL}}_{n}({\mathbb {Z}})\) with Laplace eigenvalue \(\lambda _F\). If \(\Omega \) is a compact subset of \(\Gamma _0(N)\backslash {\mathrm{PGL}}_n/\mathrm{PO}_{n}\), we show the bound \(\Vert F|_{\Omega }\Vert _{\infty } \ll _{ \Omega } N^{\varepsilon } \lambda _F^{n(n-1)/8 - \delta }\) for some constant \(\delta = \delta _n> 0\) depending only on n.  相似文献

Given a model \(\mathcal {M}\) of set theory, and a nontrivial automorphism j of \(\mathcal {M}\), let \(\mathcal {I}_{\mathrm {fix}}(j)\) be the submodel of \(\mathcal {M}\) whose universe consists of elements m of \(\mathcal {M}\) such that \(j(x)=x\) for every x in the transitive closure of m (where the transitive closure of m is computed within \(\mathcal {M}\)). Here we study the class \(\mathcal {C}\) of structures of the form \(\mathcal {I}_{\mathrm {fix}}(j)\), where the ambient model \(\mathcal {M}\) satisfies a frugal yet robust fragment of \(\mathrm {ZFC}\) known as \(\mathrm {MOST}\), and \(j(m)=m\) whenever m is a finite ordinal in the sense of \(\mathcal {M}.\) Our main achievement is the calculation of the theory of \(\mathcal {C}\) as precisely \(\mathrm {MOST+\Delta }_{0}^{\mathcal {P}}\)-\(\mathrm {Collection}\). The following theorems encapsulate our principal results: Theorem A. Every structure in \(\mathcal {C}\) satisfies \(\mathrm {MOST+\Delta }_{0}^{\mathcal {P}}\)-\(\mathrm { Collection}\). Theorem B. Each of the following three conditions is sufficient for a countable structure \(\mathcal {N}\) to be in \(\mathcal {C}\):(a) \(\mathcal {N}\) is a transitive model of \(\mathrm {MOST+\Delta }_{0}^{\mathcal {P}}\)-\(\mathrm {Collection}\).(b) \(\mathcal {N}\) is a recursively saturated model of \(\mathrm {MOST+\Delta }_{0}^{\mathcal {P}}\)-\(\mathrm {Collection}\).(c) \(\mathcal {N}\) is a model of \(\mathrm {ZFC}\). Theorem C. Suppose \(\mathcal {M}\) is a countable recursively saturated model of \(\mathrm {ZFC}\) and I is a proper initial segment of \(\mathrm {Ord}^{\mathcal {M}}\) that is closed under exponentiation and contains \(\omega ^\mathcal {M}\) . There is a group embedding \(j\longmapsto \check{j}\) from \(\mathrm {Aut}(\mathbb {Q})\) into \(\mathrm {Aut}(\mathcal {M})\) such that I is the longest initial segment of \(\mathrm {Ord}^{\mathcal {M}}\) that is pointwise fixed by \(\check{j}\) for every nontrivial \(j\in \mathrm {Aut}(\mathbb {Q}).\) In Theorem C, \(\mathrm {Aut}(X)\) is the group of automorphisms of the structure X, and \(\mathbb {Q}\) is the ordered set of rationals.  相似文献

Let \(X\) be a complex projective variety with only canonical singularities and with trivial canonical bundle. Let \(L\) be an ample line bundle on \(X\). Assume that the pair \((X,L)\) is the flat limit of a family of smooth polarized Calabi-Yau manifolds. Assume that for each singular point \(x \in X\) there exist a Kähler-Einstein Fano manifold \(Z\) and a positive integer \(q\) dividing \(K_{Z}\) such that \(-\frac{1}{q}K_{Z}\) is very ample and such that the germ \((X,x)\) is locally analytically isomorphic to a neighborhood of the vertex of the blow-down of the zero section of \(\frac{1}{q}K_{Z}\). We prove that up to biholomorphism, the unique weak Ricci-flat Kähler metric representing \(2\pi c_{1}(L)\) on \(X\) is asymptotic at a polynomial rate near \(x\) to the natural Ricci-flat Kähler cone metric on \(\frac{1}{q}K_{Z}\) constructed using the Calabi ansatz. In particular, our result applies if \((X, \mathcal{O}(1))\) is a nodal quintic threefold in \(\mathbf {P}^{4}\). This provides the first known examples of compact Ricci-flat manifolds with non-orbifold isolated conical singularities.  相似文献

We introduce and study the first-order Generic Vopěnka’s Principle, which states that for every definable proper class of structures \(\mathcal {C}\) of the same type, there exist \(B\ne A\) in \(\mathcal {C}\) such that B elementarily embeds into A in some set-forcing extension. We show that, for \(n\ge 1\), the Generic Vopěnka’s Principle fragment for \(\Pi _n\)-definable classes is equiconsistent with a proper class of n-remarkable cardinals. The n-remarkable cardinals hierarchy for \(n\in \omega \), which we introduce here, is a natural generic analogue for the \(C^{(n)}\)-extendible cardinals that Bagaria used to calibrate the strength of the first-order Vopěnka’s Principle in Bagaria (Arch Math Logic 51(3–4):213–240, 2012). Expanding on the theme of studying set theoretic properties which assert the existence of elementary embeddings in some set-forcing extension, we introduce and study the weak Proper Forcing Axiom, \(\mathrm{wPFA}\). The axiom \(\mathrm{wPFA}\) states that for every transitive model \(\mathcal M\) in the language of set theory with some \(\omega _1\)-many additional relations, if it is forced by a proper forcing \(\mathbb P\) that \(\mathcal M\) satisfies some \(\Sigma _1\)-property, then V has a transitive model \(\bar{\mathcal M}\), satisfying the same \(\Sigma _1\)-property, and in some set-forcing extension there is an elementary embedding from \(\bar{\mathcal M}\) into \(\mathcal M\). This is a weakening of a formulation of \(\mathrm{PFA}\) due to Claverie and Schindler (J Symb Logic 77(2):475–498, 2012), which asserts that the embedding from \(\bar{\mathcal M}\) to \(\mathcal M\) exists in V. We show that \(\mathrm{wPFA}\) is equiconsistent with a remarkable cardinal. Furthermore, the axiom \(\mathrm{wPFA}\) implies \(\mathrm{PFA}_{\aleph _2}\), the Proper Forcing Axiom for antichains of size at most \(\omega _2\), but it is consistent with \(\square _\kappa \) for all \(\kappa \ge \omega _2\), and therefore does not imply \(\mathrm{PFA}_{\aleph _3}\).  相似文献

Let \(\pi :{\mathbb {P}}({\mathcal {O}}(0)\oplus {\mathcal {O}}(k))\rightarrow {\mathbb {P}}^{n-1}\) be a projective bundle over \({\mathbb {P}}^{n-1}\) with \(1\le k \le n-1\). We denote \({\mathbb {P}}({\mathcal {O}}(0)\oplus {\mathcal {O}}(k))\) by \(N_{k}^{n}\) and endow it with the U(n)-invariant gradient shrinking Kähler Ricci soliton structure constructed by Cao (Elliptic and parabolic methods in geometry (Minneapolis, MN, 1994), A K Peters, Wellesley, 1996) and Koiso (Recent topics in differential and analytic geometry. Advanced studies in pure mathematics, Boston, 1990). In this paper, we show that lens space \(L(k\, ;1)(r)\) with radius r embedded in \(N_{k}^{n}\) is a self-similar solution. We also prove that there exists a pair of critical radii \(r_{1}<r_{2}\), which satisfies the following. The lens space \(L(k\, ;1)(r)\) is a self-shrinker if \(r<r_{2}\) and self-expander if \(r_{2}<r\), and the Ricci-mean curvature flow emanating from \(L(k\, ;1)(r)\) collapses to the 0-section of \(\pi \) if \(r<r_{1}\) and to the \(\infty \)-section of \(\pi \) if \(r_{1}<r\). This paper gives explicit examples of Ricci-mean curvature flows.  相似文献

Let \(\mathcal {R}\) be a prime ring, \(\mathcal {Z(R)}\) its center, \(\mathcal {C}\) its extended centroid, \(\mathcal {L}\) a Lie ideal of \(\mathcal {R}, \mathcal {F}\) a generalized skew derivation associated with a skew derivation d and automorphism \(\alpha \). Assume that there exist \(t\ge 1\) and \(m,n\ge 0\) fixed integers such that \( vu = u^m\mathcal {F}(uv)^tu^n\) for all \(u,v \in \mathcal {L}\). Then it is shown that either \(\mathcal {L}\) is central or \(\mathrm{char}(\mathcal {R})=2, \mathcal {R}\subseteq \mathcal {M}_2(\mathcal {C})\), the ring of \(2\times 2\) matrices over \(\mathcal {C}, \mathcal {L}\) is commutative and \(u^2\in \mathcal {Z(R)}\), for all \(u\in \mathcal {L}\). In particular, if \(\mathcal {L}=[\mathcal {R,R}]\), then \(\mathcal {R}\) is commutative.  相似文献

Let \({\mathcal {N}}_m\) be the group of \(m\times m\) upper triangular real matrices with all the diagonal entries 1. Then it is an \((m-1)\)-step nilpotent Lie group, diffeomorphic to \({\mathbb {R}}^{\frac{1}{2} m(m-1)}\). It contains all the integer matrices as a lattice \(\Gamma _m\). The automorphism group of \({\mathcal {N}}_m \ (m\ge 4)\) turns out to be extremely small. In fact, \(\mathrm {Aut}({\mathcal {N}})=\mathcal {I} \rtimes \mathrm {Out}({\mathcal {N}})\), where \(\mathcal {I}\) is a connected, simply connected nilpotent Lie group, and \(\mathrm {Out}({\mathcal {N}})={{\tilde{K}}}={(\mathbb {R}^*)^{m-1}\rtimes \mathbb {Z}_2}\). With a nice left-invariant Riemannian metric on \({\mathcal {N}}\), the isometry group is \(\mathrm {Isom}({\mathcal {N}})= {\mathcal {N}} \rtimes K\), where \(K={(\mathbb {Z}_2)^{m-1}\rtimes \mathbb {Z}_2}\subset {{\tilde{K}}}\) is a maximal compact subgroup of \(\mathrm {Aut}({\mathcal {N}})\). We prove that, for odd \(m\ge 4\), there is no infra-nilmanifold which is essentially covered by the nilmanifold \(\Gamma _m\backslash {\mathcal {N}}_m\). For \(m=2n\ge 4\) (even), there is a unique infra-nilmanifold which is essentially (and doubly) covered by the nilmanifold \(\Gamma _m\backslash {\mathcal {N}}_m\).  相似文献

The Walsh transform \(\widehat{Q}\) of a quadratic function \(Q:{\mathbb F}_{p^n}\rightarrow {\mathbb F}_p\) satisfies \(|\widehat{Q}(b)| \in \{0,p^{\frac{n+s}{2}}\}\) for all \(b\in {\mathbb F}_{p^n}\), where \(0\le s\le n-1\) is an integer depending on Q. In this article, we study the following three classes of quadratic functions of wide interest. The class \(\mathcal {C}_1\) is defined for arbitrary n as \(\mathcal {C}_1 = \{Q(x) = \mathrm{Tr_n}(\sum _{i=1}^{\lfloor (n-1)/2\rfloor }a_ix^{2^i+1})\;:\; a_i \in {\mathbb F}_2\}\), and the larger class \(\mathcal {C}_2\) is defined for even n as \(\mathcal {C}_2 = \{Q(x) = \mathrm{Tr_n}(\sum _{i=1}^{(n/2)-1}a_ix^{2^i+1}) + \mathrm{Tr_{n/2}}(a_{n/2}x^{2^{n/2}+1}) \;:\; a_i \in {\mathbb F}_2\}\). For an odd prime p, the subclass \(\mathcal {D}\) of all p-ary quadratic functions is defined as \(\mathcal {D} = \{Q(x) = \mathrm{Tr_n}(\sum _{i=0}^{\lfloor n/2\rfloor }a_ix^{p^i+1})\;:\; a_i \in {\mathbb F}_p\}\). We determine the generating function for the distribution of the parameter s for \(\mathcal {C}_1, \mathcal {C}_2\) and \(\mathcal {D}\). As a consequence we completely describe the distribution of the nonlinearity for the rotation symmetric quadratic Boolean functions, and in the case \(p > 2\), the distribution of the co-dimension for the rotation symmetric quadratic p-ary functions, which have been attracting considerable attention recently. Our results also facilitate obtaining closed formulas for the number of such quadratic functions with prescribed s for small values of s, and hence extend earlier results on this topic. We also present the complete weight distribution of the subcodes of the second order Reed–Muller codes corresponding to \(\mathcal {C}_1\) and \(\mathcal {C}_2\) in terms of a generating function.  相似文献

We prove that the height of any algebraic computation tree for deciding membership in a semialgebraic set \(\Sigma \subset {\mathbb R}^n\) is bounded from below by
$$\begin{aligned} \frac{c_1\log (\mathrm{b}_m(\Sigma ))}{m+1} -c_2n, \end{aligned}$$
where \(\mathrm{b}_m(\Sigma )\) is the mth Betti number of \(\Sigma \) with respect to “ordinary” (singular) homology and \(c_1,\ c_2\) are some (absolute) positive constants. This result complements the well-known lower bound by Yao (J Comput Syst Sci 55:36–43, 1997) for locally closed semialgebraic sets in terms of the total Borel–Moore Betti number. We also prove that if \(\rho :\> {\mathbb R}^n \rightarrow {\mathbb R}^{n-r}\) is the projection map, then the height of any tree deciding membership in \(\Sigma \) is bounded from below by
$$\begin{aligned} \frac{c_1\log (\mathrm{b}_m(\rho (\Sigma )))}{(m+1)^2} -\frac{c_2n}{m+1} \end{aligned}$$
for some positive constants \(c_1,\ c_2\). We illustrate these general results by examples of lower complexity bounds for some specific computational problems.

The functional equation \(f^{m}+g^{m}=1\) can be regarded as the Fermat-type equations over function fields. In this paper, we investigate the entire and meromorphic solutions of the Fermat-type functional equations such as partial differential-difference equation \(\left( \frac{\partial f(z_{1}, z_{2})}{\partial z_{1}}\right) ^{n}+f^{m}(z_{1}+c_{1}, z_{2}+c_{2})=1\) in \(\mathbb {C}^{2}\) and partial difference equation \(f^{m}(z_{1}, \ldots , z_{n})+f^{m}(z_{1}+c_{1}, \ldots , z_{n}+c_{n})=1\) in \(\mathbb {C}^{n}\) by making use of Nevanlinna theory for meromorphic functions in several complex variables.  相似文献

We consider the Laplacian with attractive Robin boundary conditions,
$$\begin{aligned} Q^\Omega _\alpha u=-\Delta u, \quad \dfrac{\partial u}{\partial n}=\alpha u \text { on } \partial \Omega , \end{aligned}$$
in a class of bounded smooth domains \(\Omega \in \mathbb {R}^\nu \); here \(n\) is the outward unit normal and \(\alpha >0\) is a constant. We show that for each \(j\in \mathbb {N}\) and \(\alpha \rightarrow +\infty \), the \(j\)th eigenvalue \(E_j(Q^\Omega _\alpha )\) has the asymptotics
$$\begin{aligned} E_j(Q^\Omega _\alpha )=-\alpha ^2 -(\nu -1)H_\mathrm {max}(\Omega )\,\alpha +{\mathcal O}(\alpha ^{2/3}), \end{aligned}$$
where \(H_\mathrm {max}(\Omega )\) is the maximum mean curvature at \(\partial \Omega \). The discussion of the reverse Faber-Krahn inequality gives rise to a new geometric problem concerning the minimization of \(H_\mathrm {max}\). In particular, we show that the ball is the strict minimizer of \(H_\mathrm {max}\) among the smooth star-shaped domains of a given volume, which leads to the following result: if \(B\) is a ball and \(\Omega \) is any other star-shaped smooth domain of the same volume, then for any fixed \(j\in \mathbb {N}\) we have \(E_j(Q^B_\alpha )>E_j(Q^\Omega _\alpha )\) for large \(\alpha \). An open question concerning a larger class of domains is formulated.

Let \(\Omega \) be a smooth bounded domain in \(\mathbb R^n\) with \(n\ge 2\), \(W^{1,n}_0(\Omega )\) be the usual Sobolev space on \(\Omega \) and define \(\lambda _1(\Omega ) = \inf \nolimits _{u\in W^{1,n}_0(\Omega )\setminus \{0\}}\frac{\int _\Omega |\nabla u|^n \mathrm{d}x}{\int _\Omega |u|^n \mathrm{d}x}\). Based on the blow-up analysis method, we shall establish the following improved Moser–Trudinger inequality of Tintarev type
$$\begin{aligned} \sup _{u\in W^{1,n}_0(\Omega ), \int _\Omega |\nabla u|^n \mathrm{{d}}x-\alpha \int _\Omega |u|^n \mathrm{{d}}x \le 1} \int _\Omega \exp (\alpha _{n} |u|^{\frac{n}{n-1}}) \mathrm{{d}}x < \infty , \end{aligned}$$
for any \(0 \le \alpha < \lambda _1(\Omega )\), where \(\alpha _{n} = n \omega _{n-1}^{\frac{1}{n-1}}\) with \(\omega _{n-1}\) being the surface area of the unit sphere in \(\mathbb R^n\). This inequality is stronger than the improved Moser–Trudinger inequality obtained by Adimurthi and Druet (Differ Equ 29:295–322, 2004) in dimension 2 and by Yang (J Funct Anal 239:100–126, 2006) in higher dimension and extends a result of Tintarev (J Funct Anal 266:55–66, 2014) in dimension 2 to higher dimension. We also prove that the supremum above is attained for any \(0< \alpha < \lambda _{1}(\Omega )\). (The case \(\alpha =0\) corresponding to the Moser–Trudinger inequality is well known.)

Let \(\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\) be a set of stable Morse functions of an oriented circle such that the number of singular points is \(2n\in \mathbb {N}\) and the order of singular values satisfies the particular condition. For an orthogonal projection \(\pi :\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}\), let \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1:S^1\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) be embedding lifts of f. If there is an ambient isotopy \(\tilde{\varphi }_t:\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) \((t\in [0,1])\) such that \({\pi \circ \tilde{\varphi }}_t(y_1,y_2)=y_1\) and \(\tilde{\varphi }_1\circ {\tilde{f}}_0={\tilde{f}}_1\), we say that \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1\) are height isotopic. Let \(\mathfrak {M}\) be a von Neumann algebra, and let \(\mathfrak {T}:\mathfrak {M} \rightarrow \mathfrak {M}\) be a bounded linear map satisfying \(\mathfrak {T}(P^{2}) = \mathfrak {T}(P)P + \Psi (P,P)\) for each projection P of \(\mathfrak {M}\), where \(\Psi :\mathfrak {M} \times \mathfrak {M} \rightarrow \mathfrak {M}\) is a bi-linear map. If \(\Psi \) is a bounded l-semi Hochschild 2-cocycle, then \(\mathfrak {T}\) is a left centralizer associated with \(\Psi \). By applying this conclusion, we offer a characterization of left \(\sigma \)-centralizers, generalized derivations and generalized \(\sigma \)-derivations on von Neumann algebras. Moreover, it is proved that if \(\mathfrak {M}\) is a commutative von Neumann algebra and \(\sigma :\mathfrak {M} \rightarrow \mathfrak {M}\) is an endomorphism, then every bi-\(\sigma \)-derivation \(D:\mathfrak {M} \times \mathfrak {M} \rightarrow \mathfrak {M}\) is identically zero.  相似文献

Let \({\mathcal B}_{p,w}\) be the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators acting on the weighted Lebesgue space \(L^p(\mathbb {R},w)\), where \(p\in (1,\infty )\) and w is a Muckenhoupt weight. We study the Banach subalgebra \(\mathfrak {A}_{p,w}\) of \({\mathcal B}_{p,w}\) generated by all multiplication operators aI (\(a\in \mathrm{PSO}^\diamond \)) and all convolution operators \(W^0(b)\) (\(b\in \mathrm{PSO}_{p,w}^\diamond \)), where \(\mathrm{PSO}^\diamond \subset L^\infty (\mathbb {R})\) and \(\mathrm{PSO}_{p,w}^\diamond \subset M_{p,w}\) are algebras of piecewise slowly oscillating functions that admit piecewise slowly oscillating discontinuities at arbitrary points of \(\mathbb {R}\cup \{\infty \}\), and \(M_{p,w}\) is the Banach algebra of Fourier multipliers on \(L^p(\mathbb {R},w)\). For any Muckenhoupt weight w, we study the Fredholmness in the Banach algebra \({\mathcal Z}_{p,w}\subset \mathfrak {A}_{p,w}\) generated by the operators \(aW^0(b)\) with slowly oscillating data \(a\in \mathrm{SO}^\diamond \) and \(b\in \mathrm{SO}^\diamond _{p,w}\). Then, under some condition on the weight w, we complete constructing a Fredholm symbol calculus for the Banach algebra \(\mathfrak {A}_{p,w}\) in comparison with Karlovich and Loreto Hernández (Integr.
