Abstract

A rapid and simple method for the determination of cephalexin, cephalothin sodium and cephradin without prior separation from their alkali-induced degradation products is presented. By measuring the values of the first and second derivative spectra at certain wavelengths, the concentration of the intact drug can be calculated directly without interference of degradation products. The method was proved using synthetic mixtures of the intact drugs with their degradation products, and its suitability to monitor the stability of the drugs was demonstrated.  相似文献

Abstract

Direct spectrophotometric methods for the determination of carbochromen hydrochloride and dipyridamole, each in the presence of its oxidative degradation products, are presented. the methods are based on the first derivative (D1) and second derivative (D2) spectrophotometric measurement (absolute trough, U) at 336 nm and (Peak-trough, Y) at 309–342 nm for carbochromen hydrochloride and at 240–260 nm(U) and 246–268 nm(Y) for dipyridamole. Plots of D1 or D2 versus concentration were linear over the concentration range of 8.00–16.00 μg/ml for carbochromen hydrochloride and 4.00–12.00 μg/ml for dipyridamole. Oxidative degradation of these drugs has been optimized with respect to hydrogen peroxide concentration. Determining the intact in coexistence with its oxidative degradation product, the proposed derivative spectrophotometric methods proved to be of high potential in correcting the systematic error appearing in the results of the Amax method due to the latter. Assaying the commercial tablets, the proposed method gave results of high accuracy and reproducibility.  相似文献

Abstract

Second (D2) and third (D3) derivatives spectrophotometry have been developed for the determination of acyclovir in the presence of guanine (its main impurity) and diloxanide furoate in the presence of diloxanide (its degradation product). The methods depend upon measuring D2 and D3 peak amplitudes at 269 and 262 nm for acyclovir and at 260 and 270 nm for diloxanide furoate in 0.1 N hydrochloric acid.

Accuracy of analysis with the proposed derivative spectrophotometric procedure is significantly greater than the classical methods.  相似文献

本文建立了维生素C及其制剂的一阶导数差示脉冲极谱定量分析方法,在水溶液中,维生素C于-1.10V(vsAg/AgCl)处出现一良好的一阶导数差示脉冲极谱峰,在1~175μg/mL范围内,维生素C浓度与其一阶导数差示脉冲极谱峰幅值呈非常显著的线性关系(P〈0.01),方法简便,快速,灵敏,结果准确。  相似文献

本文研究了硝酸盐及亚硝酸盐的一阶导数光谱,选择亚硝酸盐的一阶导数光谱与基线相交点207nm,作为硝酸盐的测定波长;选择硝酸盐在207nm、220nm处导数值相等,作为双波长法测定亚硝酸盐的测定波长。结果表明,硝酸盐及亚硝酸盐在1~15μg/mL浓度范围内线性关系良好,合成样分析,加标回收试验,样品测定同标准比色法对照均获得满意结果。  相似文献

Abstract

A direct and simple first derivative spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of mefenamic acid and paracetamol in pharmaceutical formulations. A methanolic hydrochloric acid solution was used as solvent for extracting the drugs from the formulations and subsequently the samples were evaluated directly by derivative spectrophotometry. Simultaneous determination of both drugs can be carried out using the zero-crossing and the graphical methods. The methods do not require simultaneous equations to be solved. The calibration graphs were linear in the ranges from 1.8 × 10?6 to 1.6 × 10?4 M of mefenamic acid and from 4.1×10?6 to 1.4 × 10?4 M of paracetamol. The ingredients commonly found in commercial pharmaceutical formulations do not interfere. The proposed method was applied to the determination of these drugs in tablets.  相似文献

研究了以甲基百里香酚蓝(MTB)作显色剂,在pH作10.0的NH4Cl-氨缓冲溶液中,用一阶导数吸光光度法测定饮用水中镁的最佳条件。以617nm波长处的零-谷导数值定量,用零交技术可消除钙等干扰。线性范围为0-15μg/25ml,加标回收率在98%-107%之间。经过对饮用水样的测定,并与其它分析方法比较,结果满意。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Derivative-Differential UV spectrophotometry and ratio-spectra first derivative spectrophotometry are presented for the simultaneous determination of analgesic and myorelaxan mixtures, namely acetaminophen (A)- phenprobamate (P). Derivative-Differential UV spectrophotometry is based on pH changes. The other method depends on the application ratio-spectra first derivative spectrophotometry to resolve the interference due to spectral overlapping.

The proposed methods were applied to the determination of this compound in synthetic mixtures and in pharmaceutical preparations. The proposed methods, which give thoroughly comparable data, are simple and rapid, and allow one to obtain precise and accurate results.  相似文献

A novel method for the determination of vitamin C(Vc) is proposed in this article. After the reaction with Folin-Ciocalteau reagent at ambient temperature, Vc solution was scanned at 750--1100 nm, and its first-order derivative spectrum were obtained from the original spectrum. The values of derivative selected at 995 nm were used for determination. It was proved that Vc could quickly react with Folin-Ciocalteau reagent within 5 min and the product was quite stable for a long time. The conditions required for this method is not very complicated, its precision and accuracy are similar to those of the iodometric titration described in Chinese Pharmacopoeia, and the limit of detection is 0.312 μg/mL. The determination of the results of vitamin C tablet, pill, and injection demonstrates that this method has wide pharmaceutical applications.  相似文献

Abstract

A first derivative spectrophotometry method has been developed for the simultaneous quantitation of minoxidil and tretinoin. The method is based on measuring the first derivative signals (D1) of minoxidil and tretinoin at 290 and 351 nm, respectively, without any interference from each other, or any other coexisting materials. Beer's law was valid over the concentration range 2–10 μg/ml of minoxidil and 0.25–1.25 μg/ml of tretinoin. The proposed method has been applied successfully to the determination of some magistral and pharmaceutical preparations. Relative standard deviations for the assay of both drugs were less than 0.95%.  相似文献

Abstract

Four two-component mixtures have been assayed using both Vierordt's and first derivative spectrophotometric methods. Such mixtures are acepifylline and phenobarbitone, phenylbutazone and amidopyrine, procaine and caffeine, and sulphamethoxazole and trimethoprim. These selected applications illustrate the relative ease and simplicity offered by first derivative spectrophotometry for the assay of two component mixtures with spectral interferences from matrix formulations.  相似文献

研究了在聚乙烯醇存在下,pH3.2的缓冲溶液中金与钼酸盐和罗丹明B显色后的一阶导数吸收光谱,结果表明,一阶导数吸收光谱的摩尔吸光系数是2.03×106,较基本光谱的灵敏度提高34倍。服从比尔定律范围为0~0.2mg/L。以聚醚型聚胺酯泡沫塑料分离共存离子,对矿石中金进行测定并与氢醌容量法进行对照实验,两方法绝对偏差≤0.16mg/L,结果令人满意。  相似文献

Abstract

Two methods have been developed for the simultaneous determination of Amitryptiline and Perphenazine: the zero-crossing (I) and the derivative ratio spectrum (II) methods and both use the derivative spectrophotometry.

The methods have been applicable in the ranges of 1 to 30 μg·ml?1 of Amitryptiline (I and II) and between 1 and 8 μg·ml?1 and from 1 to 7 μg·ml?1 of Perphenazine for the methods I and II respectively. The accuracy of the proposed methods have been studied and they have been used in the determination of Amitryptiline and Perphenazine in commercially available pharmaceuticals.  相似文献

Abstract

This article describes the development and validation of a first derivative UV quantitative analytical method for determination of candesartan cilexetil in tablet dosage forms. A signal at 270.1 nm of the first derivative spectrum (ID270.1) was found adequate for quantification. The limit of quantification was 3.06 µg/ml. The linearity between ID270.1 nm and concentration of candesartan cilexetil in the range of 6.00–32.00 µg/ml presented a correlation coefficient of (r2) = 0.9990. The mean recovery percentage was 100.97 and 99.23% for candesartan cilexetil standard solution and candesartan standard cilexetil solution with excipients, respectively. The intraday and interday accuracy of the assay was 98.60% and 99.10% respectively. The intraday and interday variability was below 2.0%.

The proposed method is accurate, precise, sensitive, and selective and can be used in quality control laboratories for its intended purpose.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive derivative method has been proposed for the simultaneous determination of trace amounts of Co(II) and Ni(II) with morpholinedithiocarbamate (MDTC) in the presence of sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). The molar absorption coefficients of the 1:2 complex of Co(II) and Ni(II) at 326 nm and 322 nm are 2.248 × 104 and 2.505 × 104 L mol?1 cm?1 for zero order. The analytical sensitivity for the second derivative of Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes are 0.0044 μg mL?1 and 0.0060 μg mL?1. The developed derivative procedure, using the zero‐crossing technique, has been successfully applied for the analysis of Co(II) and Ni(II) simultaneously in different alloy samples.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A derivative spectrophotometry was developed to determine miconazole in cream formulations that contain benzoic acid as preservative. The procedure was based on the linear relationship in the range 100-500 μg ml?1 between the drug concentration and the second derivative amplitudes at 276 nm. Results of the recovery experiments performed on various amounts of benzoic acid and of the determination of miconazole in cream confirmed the applicability of the proposed method to complex formulations.  相似文献

Abstract

A new method is described to analyse a binary mixture of atrazine and chlorpyrifos, using first-derivative spectrophotometry for atrazine and first derivative of the ratio spectra for chlorpyrifos. The procedure does not require any separation step. Calibration graphs were linear up to 15 μg.mL?1 of atrazine and to 10 μg.mL?1 of chlorpyrifos.
