The present paper investigates the fractal structure of fractional integrals of Weierstrass functions. The ezact box dimension for such functions many important cases is established. We need to point out that, although the result itself achieved in the present paper is interesting, the new technique and method should be emphasized. These novel ideas might be useful to establish the box dimension or Hausdorff dimension (especially for the lower bounds) for more general groups of functions.  相似文献

The center conditions and bifurcation of limit cycles for a class of fifth degree systems are investigated. Two recursive formulas to compute singular quantities at infinity and at the origin are given. The first nine singular point quantities at infinity and first seven singular point quantities at the origin for the system are given in order to get center conditions and study bifurcation of limit cycles. Two fifth degree systems are constructed. One allows the appearance of eight limit cycles in the neighborhood of infinity,which is the first example that a polynomial differential system bifurcates eight limit cycles at infinity. The other perturbs six limit cycles at the origin.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the limit cycles of the systemdx/dt=y·[1+(A(x)]oy/dt=(-x+δy+α_1x~2+α_2xy+α_5x~2y)[1+B(x)] (1)where A(x)=sum form i=1 to n(a_ix~), B(x)=sum form j=1 to m(β_jx~j) and 1+B(x)>0. Let 1 < s < 2, λk > 0 with λk → ∞ satisfy λk+1/λkλ > 1. For a class of Besicovich functions B(t) = sin λkt, the present paper investigates the intrinsic relationship between box dimension of their graphs and the asymptotic behavior of {λk}. We show that the upper box dimension does not exceed s in general, and equals to s while the increasing rate is sufficiently large. An estimate of the lower box dimension is also established. Then a necessary and sufficient condition is given for this type of Besicovitch functions to have exact box dimensions: for sufficiently large λ, dim BΓ(B) = dim BΓ(B) = s holds if and only if limn→∞ = 1.
