We investigate the massive graviton stability of the BTZ black hole obtained from three dimensional massive gravities which are classified into the parity-even and parity-odd gravity theories. In the parity-even gravity theory, we perform the $s$ -mode stability analysis by using the BTZ black string perturbations, which gives two Schrödinger equations with frequency-dependent potentials. The $s$ -mode stability is consistent with the generalized Breitenlohner-Freedman bound for spin-2 field. It seems that for the parity-odd massive gravity theory, the BTZ black hole is stable when the imaginary part of quasinormal frequencies of massive graviton is negative. However, this condition is not consistent with the $s$ -mode stability based on the second-order equation obtained after squaring the first-order equation. Finally, we explore the black hole stability connection between the parity-odd and parity-even massive gravity theories.  相似文献

We present an exact three-dimensional massive Kiselev AdS black hole solution. This Kiselev black hole is neither perfectly fluid, nor is it the quintessential solution, but the BTZ black hole modified by the anisotropic matter. This black hole possesses an essential singularity at its radial origin and a single horizon whose radius will increase monotonically when the parameter of the anisotropic matter field ω decreases. We calculate all thermodynamic quantities and find that the first law of thermodynamics of this massive Kiselev AdS black hole can be protected, while the consistent Smarr formula is only held in the extended thermodynamic phase space. After examining the sign of free energy, we conclude that there is no Hawking-Page transition since the massive Kiselev AdS black hole phase is always thermodynamically favored. Moreover, we study the phase transition between the Kiselev AdS black hole and BTZ black hole by considering the matchings for their temperature. We find that the Kiselev AdS black hole is still a thermodynamically more preferred phase, because it always has a smaller amount of free energy than the BTZ black hole, which seems to indicate that the anisotropic matter field may emerge naturally in BTZ black hole spacetime under some thermal fluctuations. We also show a first order phase transition between the Kiselev AdS black hole phase with -1w -1/2 and the black hole phase with -1/2w0. As the Kiselev AdS black hole has some notable features on the phase transition of black holes in three dimensions, it provides important clues to further investigate these both surprising and similar behaviors in four and higher dimensions.  相似文献

We find solution to the metric function f(r) = 0 of charged BTZ black hole making use of the Lambert function. The condition of extremal charged BTZ black hole is determined by a non-linear relation of M e (Q) = Q 2(1 − ln Q 2). Then, we study the entropy of extremal charged BTZ black hole using the entropy function approach. It is shown that this formalism works with a proper normalization of charge Q for charged BTZ black hole because AdS2 × S1 represents near-horizon geometry of the extremal charged BTZ black hole. Finally, we introduce the Wald’s Noether formalism to reproduce the entropy of the extremal charged BTZ black hole without normalization when using the dilaton gravity approach.  相似文献

We investigate quantum entanglement of gravitational configurations in 3D AdS gravity using the AdS/CFT correspondence. We derive explicit formulas for the holographic entanglement entropy (EE) of the BTZ black hole, conical singularities and regularized AdS3. The leading term in the large temperature expansion of the holographic EE of the BTZ black hole reproduces exactly its Bekenstein-Hawking entropy S BH , whereas the subleading term behaves as ln S BH . We also show that the leading term of the holographic EE for the BTZ black hole can be obtained from the large temperature expansion of the partition function of a broad class of 2D CFTs on the torus. This result indicates that black hole EE is not a fundamental feature of the underlying theory of quantum gravity but emerges when the semiclassical notion of spacetime geometry is used to describe the black hole.  相似文献

In this study, the quantum gravity effect on the tunnelling radiation of charged massive spin-0 scalar particle from \(2+1\) dimensional charged rotating Banados–Teitelboim–Zanelli (BTZ) black hole is looked into by using the Hamilton–Jacobi approach. For this, we calculate the modified Hawking temperature of the black hole by using the modified Klein–Gordon equation based on the generalized uncertainty principle, and we noticed that the modified Hawking temperature of the black hole depends not only on the black hole properties, but also on the angular momentum, energy, charge and mass of the tunnelling scalar particle. Using the modified Hawking temperature, we discussed the stability of the black hole in the context of the modified heat capacity, and observed that it might undergo both first and 1 phase transitions in the presence of the quantum gravity effect, but just a first-type transition in the absence of the quantum gravity effect. Furthermore, we investigated the modified Hawking temperature of the black hole by using the tunnelling processes of the charged massive Dirac and vector boson particles. We observed that scalar, Dirac and vector particles are tunnelled from the black hole completely differently from each other in the presence of the quantum gravity effect.  相似文献

We investigate three-dimensional black hole solutions in the realm of pure and new massive gravity in 2+1 dimensions induced on a 2-brane embedded in a flat four-dimensional spacetime. There is no cosmological constant neither on the brane nor on the four-dimensional bulk. Only gravitational fields are turned on and we indeed find vacuum solutions as black holes in 2+1 dimensions even in the absence of any cosmological solution. There is a crossover scale that controls how far the three- or four-dimensional gravity manifests on the 2-brane. Our solutions also indicate that local BTZ and SdS3 solutions can flow to local four-dimensional Schwarzschild-like black holes, as one probes from small to large distances, which is clearly a higher dimensional manifestation on the 2-brane. This is similar to the DGP scenario where the effects of extra dimensions for large probed distances along the brane manifest.  相似文献

In this paper,we investigate the quantum scalar fields in a massive BTZ black hole background. We study the entropy of the system by evaluating the entanglement entropy using a discretized approach.Specifically,we fit the results with a log-modified formula of the black hole entropy, which is introduced by quantum correction. The coefficients of leading and sub-leading terms affected by the mass of graviton are numerically analyzed.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigated the noncommutative rotating BTZ black hole and showed that such a space-time is not maximally symmetric. We calculated effective potential for the massive and the massless test particle by geodesic equations, also we showed effect of non-commutativity on the minimum mass of BTZ black hole.  相似文献

The Bañados‐Teitelboim‐Zanelli (BTZ) black hole model corresponds to a solution of (2+1)‐dimensional Einstein gravity with negative cosmological constant, and by a conformal rescaling its metric can be mapped onto the hyperbolic pseudosphere surface (Beltrami trumpet) with negative curvature. Beltrami trumpet shaped graphene sheets have been predicted to emit Hawking radiation that is experimentally detectable by a scanning tunnelling microscope. Here, for the first time we present an analytical algorithm that allows variational solutions to the Dirac Hamiltonian of graphene pseudoparticles in BTZ black hole gravitational field by using an approach based on the formalism of pseudo‐Hermitian Hamiltonians within a discrete‐basis‐set method. We show that our model not only reproduces the exact results for the real part of quasinormal mode frequencies of (2+1)‐dimensional spinless BTZ black hole, but also provides analytical results for the real part of quasinormal modes of spinning BTZ black hole, and also offers some predictions for the observable effects with a view to gravity‐like phenomena in a curved graphene sheet.

The accretion process is being investigated onto some important black holes such as Born-Infeld-AdS black hole, non-linear charged black hole solution in AdS space-time and Einstein-Yang-Mills massive gravity in the presence of Born-Infeld nonlinear electrodynamics. We find out the relations of radial velocity, energy density and change of mass for mention black holes and analyze their behavior graphically for different values of equation of state parameters $\omega$. We also examine the relations for critical speed for these black holes. It is observed that for different state parameters different fluids exhibit different evolutions in black holes backgrounds. The energy density of some fluids is negative or positive near the black hole while other fluids become cause to increase or decrease in black hole mass.  相似文献

In this work, we consider rotating BTZ black hole in three dimensions which is dual of one dimensional holographic superconductors. We applied higher order corrections of the entropy, which interpreted as quantum corrections, to the thermodynamics quantities and study modified thermodynamics. We investigate stability of rotating BTZ black hole under effects of higher order quantum corrections, and find that they affect stability of black hole. So, the small black hole has some instabilities and critical points due to the quantum effects. We also study effect of correction terms on the dual picture of rotating BTZ black hole.  相似文献

We investigate the corrected entropy and Hawking temperature of the BTZ black hole which obtained from (2 + 1) dimensional black hole. Besides, we generalize our analysis of black holes to the case of Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) universe. The corrections to the Hawking temperature and entropy of apparent horizon for FRW universe are also obtained. Comparing the results with the high energy black hole demonstrates how the semi-classic approximation affects the thermodynamics of the BTZ black hole, corrected terms, classical action and the entropy.

In this paper we consider the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) in the tunneling formalism via Hamilton–Jacobi method to determine the quantum-corrected Hawking temperature and entropy for noncommutative BTZ black hole. In our results we obtain several types of corrections including the expected logarithmic correction to the area entropy associated with the noncommutative BTZ black holes. We also show that the area entropy product of the noncommutative BTZ black holes is dependent on mass and by analyzing the nature of the specific heat capacity we have observed that the noncommutative BTZ black hole is stable at some range of parameters.  相似文献

We find a new rotating black hole in three-dimensional anti-de Sitter space using an anisotropic perfect fluid inspired by the noncommutative black hole. We deduce the thermodynamical quantities of this black hole and compare them with those of a rotating BTZ solution and give corrections to the area law to get the exact nature of the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy.  相似文献

We found Bogomol?nyi type of the first order differential equations in three-dimensional Einstein gravity and the effective second order ones in new massive gravity when an interacting scalar field is minimally coupled. Using these equations in Einstein gravity, we obtain analytic solutions corresponding to extremally rotating hairy black holes. We also obtain perturbatively extremal black hole solutions in new massive gravity using these lower order differential equations. All these solutions have the anti-de Sitter spaces as their asymptotic geometries and as the near horizon ones. This feature of solutions interpolating two anti-de Sitter spaces leads to the construction of holographic c-theorem in these cases. Since our lower order equations reduce naturally to the well-known equations for domain walls, our results can be regarded as the natural extension of domain walls to more generic cases.  相似文献

In the dimensionally reduced model of the (2+1)(2+1)-dimensional cosmological massive gravity, we obtain the central charges of the two types of the black hole based on the entropy function method. One is for the BTZ black hole and the other one is actually for the warped AdS3 black hole.  相似文献

We have studied quasinormal modes of scalar perturbations of a black hole in massive gravity. The parameters of the theory, such as the mass of the black hole, the scalar charge of the black hole and the spherical harmonic index is varied to see how the corresponding quasinormal frequencies change. We have also studied the massive scalar field perturbations. Most of the work is done using WKB approach while sections are devoted to compute quasinormal modes via the unstable null geodesics approach and the Pöschl–Teller approximation. Comparisons are done with the Schwarzschild black hole.  相似文献

In this Letter, we study the equation of circular loops with time-dependent tension in the BTZ black hole background. We obtain various cases where cosmic string loops finally collapse to form black holes. Also, we study effect of the BTZ black hole mass and angular momentum on the evolution of cosmic string loops. We find the critical values of initial radii as a limit for the cosmic string loops collapsing to form black holes.  相似文献
