From the perspective that \(\Lambda _c(2595)\) and \(\Lambda _c(2625)\) are dynamically generated resonances from the \(DN,~D^*N\) interaction and coupled channels, we have evaluated the rates for \(\Lambda _b \rightarrow \pi ^- \Lambda _c(2595)\) and \(\Lambda _b \rightarrow \pi ^- \Lambda _c(2625)\) up to a global unknown factor that allows us to calculate the ratio of rates and compare with experiment, where good agreement is found. Similarly, we can also make predictions for the ratio of rates of the, yet unknown, decays of \(\Lambda _b \rightarrow D_s^- \Lambda _c(2595)\) and \(\Lambda _b \rightarrow D_s^- \Lambda _c(2625)\) and make estimates for their individual branching fractions. 相似文献

The high relative abundance ofs \(\bar s\) quarks in the quark-gluon plasma will result in peculiar hadronization ratios whereby the Ξ/Λ ratio should be much higher than in usual processes. As a result the Λ( \(\bar \Lambda\) ) should exhibit a sizeable longitudinal polarization due to their importantΞ( \(\bar \Xi\) ) filiation. We expect that BR(χ_(c2)(2P)→gluongluon) ≥2% if the Particle Data Group as well as the Ba Bar and Belle collaborations have correctly identified the state. The spectra of leading and nonleading charmed baryons (Λc and $\bar \Lambda _c$ ) and the asymmetries between these spectra measured in Σ? A, π ? A, and pA collisions at p L =600 GeV/c in the E781 experiment are simultaneously described within the framework of the Quark-Gluon String Model (QGSM). It is shown that the charmed baryon spectra can be fitted by QGSM curves calculated with the parameter of diquark fragmentation, $a_f^{\Lambda _c } = 0.006$ . It was found in this experiment that the asymmetry between the spectra of Λc and $\bar \Lambda _c$ in π ? A collisions is of nonzero value. It might be described in our model only assuming that the string junction is transferred from target proton into the kinematical region of pion projectile fragmentation. 相似文献

We investigate the decays of \(\bar{B}^0_s\), \(\bar{B}^0\) and \(B^-\) into \(\eta _c\) plus a scalar or vector meson in a theoretical framework by taking into account the dominant process for the weak decay of \(\bar{B}\) meson into \(\eta _c\) and a \(q\bar{q}\) pair. After hadronization of this \(q\bar{q}\) component into pairs of pseudoscalar mesons we obtain certain weights for the pseudoscalar meson-pseudoscalar meson components. In addition, the \(\bar{B}^0\) and \(\bar{B}^0_s\) decays into \(\eta _c\) and \(\rho ^0\), \(K^*\) are evaluated and compared to the \(\eta _c\) and \(\phi \) production. The calculation is based on the postulation that the scalar mesons \(f_0(500)\), \(f_0(980)\) and \(a_0(980)\) are dynamically generated states from the pseudoscalar meson-pseudoscalar meson interactions in S-wave. Up to a global normalization factor, the \(\pi \pi \), \(K \bar{K}\) and \(\pi \eta \) invariant mass distributions for the decays of \(\bar{B}^0_s \rightarrow \eta _c \pi ^+ \pi ^-\), \(\bar{B}^0_s \rightarrow \eta _c K^+ K^-\), \(\bar{B}^0 \rightarrow \eta _c \pi ^+ \pi ^-\), \(\bar{B}^0 \rightarrow \eta _c K^+ K^-\), \(\bar{B}^0 \rightarrow \eta _c \pi ^0 \eta \), \(B^- \rightarrow \eta _c K^0 K^-\) and \(B^- \rightarrow \eta _c \pi ^- \eta \) are predicted. Comparison is made with the limited experimental information available and other theoretical calcualtions. Further comparison of these results with coming LHCb measurements will be very valuable to make progress in our understanding of the nature of the low lying scalar mesons, \(f_0(500), f_0(980)\) and \(a_0(980)\). 相似文献

We study the reactions J/ψ → $ \bar \Lambda $ K - p and J/ψ → $ \bar \Lambda $ π+π-Λ with a unitary chiral approach. We predict the ratio of the invariant-mass distributions of these two reactions at the Λ(1520) peak position, which is free of the unknown production mechanism and reflects only the properties of the Λ(1520) . An experimental measurement of this ratio will provide the couplings of the Λ(1520) to its decay channels, allowing to test the predictions of the chiral unitary approach on this resonance, which appears as dynamically generated in that approach. 相似文献

Last year,the Ξ(1620) state,which is cataloged in the Particle Data Group(PDG) with only one star,was reported again in the Ξ~-π~+final state by the Belle Collaboration.Its properties,such as the spectroscopy and decay width,cannot be simply explained in the context of conventional constituent quark models.This inspires an active discussion on the structure of this resonance.In this paper,we study the radiative decays of the newly observed Ξ(1620) assuming that it is a meson-baryon molecular state of AK and with spin-parity J~P=1/2~-developed in our previous study.The partial decay widths of the AK-ΣK molecular state into Ξγ and Ξπγ final states through hadronic loops are evaluated using effective Lagrangians.The partial widths for Ξ(1620)~0→γΞ is evaluated to be approximately 118.76-174.21 keV,which may be accessible for the LHCb experiment.If Ξ(1620) is aΛK-∑K molecule,the radiative transition strength Ξ(1620)~0→γKA is considerably small and the decay width is of the order of 0.01 eV.Future experimental measurements of these processes can be useful to test the molecule interpretations of the Ξ(1620). 相似文献

The paper deals with the Tzitzéica type nonlinear evolution equations arising in nonlinear optics and their new exact solutions. First, through the use of the Painlevé transformation and Lie symmetry method, the Tzitzéica, Dodd–Bullough–Mikhailov, and Tzitzéica–Dodd–Bullough equations are converted to nonlinear ordinary differential equations (NODEs), and then, a modified version of the improved \(\tan \left( {\varPhi \left( \xi \right)/2} \right)\)-expansion method, proposed by the authors, is adopted to generate new exact solutions of the reduced equations. The paper is devoted to the calculation of two-loop (α
s
2) MSSM corrections to the relation between the pole mass of the t quark and its running mass in the scheme. Firstly, the value of the second-order contribution from large-mass expansion in mt/M
SUSY is studied. Contrary to our expectations, this contribution turned out to be negligible. As a by-product of this calculation,
the two-loop anomalous dimension of the running quark mass is obtained in the supersymmetric QCD. Secondly, the influence of the two-loop corrections to the t-quark mass on the predicted superpartner masses is investigated.

The Λ c (2940)+ is studied in a constituent quark model. The model describes the deuteron as an NN bound state and the X(3872) as a DD* molecule. We studied the meson baryon sector and found a D*N bound state consistent with the data available for the Λ c (2940)+. The existence of this bound state in this picture implies the existence of a ${\bar B^* N}$ partner that we predict as a Λ b (6248). Different decay channels for this state are also studied. 相似文献

In the framework of the chiral quark model, the mass spectrum of χ cJ (J = 0, 1, 2, n = 1, 2, 3) is studied with the Gaussian expansion method. Using the wave functions obtained in the study of mass spectrum, the open charm two-body strong decay widths of these states are calculated by using the 3 P 0 model. The results show that the masses of χ cJ (1P) and χ c2(2P) are consistent with the experimental data. But the strong decay width of χ c2(2P) is three times that of the experimental value. The decay width of χ c1(2P) is sensitive to its mass. In the quark-antiquark picture, the width is about 385 MeV. However, if the channel coupling effects shift its mass to 3872 MeV, its decay width will be around 1 MeV. The possibility of assigning the state X(3872) as χ c1(2P) cannot be excluded. To assign X(3915) as χ c0(2P) is disfavored, due to the unmatching of decay channel. For the χ cJ (3P) states, no states have been assigned. The possible candidates of χ c0(3P) are X(4160) and X(4140). Their masses are close to the theoretical ones. The experimental branching ratio of X(4160), $\Gamma (X(4160) \to D\bar D)/\Gamma (X(4160) \to D*\bar D*) < 0.09$ is compatible with that of χ c0(3P), 0.07. However the broad decay width of X(4160) cannot be explained by the open charm two-body decay. To assign X(4140) as χ c0(3P) is also possible, due to the compatibility of the total decay width, the further measurement of decay modes of X(4140) are expected to justify the assignment. 相似文献

We study D-dimensional Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet gravitational model including the Gauss–Bonnet term and the cosmological term \(\Lambda \). We find a class of solutions with exponential time dependence of two scale factors, governed by two Hubble-like parameters \(H >0\) and h, corresponding to factor spaces of dimensions \(m >2\) and \(l > 2\), respectively. These solutions contain a fine-tuned \(\Lambda = \Lambda (x, m, l, \alpha )\), which depends upon the ratio \(h/H = x\), dimensions of factor spaces m and l, and the ratio \(\alpha = \alpha _2/\alpha _1\) of two constants (\(\alpha _2\) and \(\alpha _1\)) of the model. The master equation \(\Lambda (x, m, l,\alpha ) = \Lambda \) is equivalent to a polynomial equation of either fourth or third order and may be solved in radicals. The explicit solution for \(m = l\) is presented in “Appendix”. Imposing certain restrictions on x, we prove the stability of the solutions in a class of cosmological solutions with diagonal metrics. We also consider a subclass of solutions with small enough variation of the effective gravitational constant G and show the stability of all solutions from this subclass. 相似文献

The rate of the double-beta ββ(2ν) decay of 100Mo to the first 0+ excited state in 100Ru is measured by a γγ-coincidence technique in which two HPGe detectors are used to detect the two γ rays (E γ1=590.76 keV and E γ2=539.53 keV) from the daughter nucleus 100Ru as it deexcites to the ground state via the transition sequence 0+ → 2+ → 0+. In contrast to all previous ββ-decay experiments, this technique provides data that are essentially background-free. By using a 1.05-kg isotopically enriched (98.4%) disk of 100Mo, 22 coincidence events (with the background estimated at 2.5 events) are detected in 440 d of measuring time, which translates into a half-life time of [5.9 ?1.1 +1.7 (stat.)±0.6(syst.)]×1020 yr. 相似文献

We prove two results on the rotation number of the skew-product system \({(\omega ,A):(\theta ,y)\in\mathbb T^d\times\mathbb R^2\mapsto (\theta +\omega ,A(\theta)y)\in\mathbb T^d\times\mathbb R^2,}\) where ω is Diophantine and \({A(\theta)\in SL(2, \mathbb R)}\) is homotopic to the identity. On the one hand, we prove that this function has the behavior of a \({\frac{1}{2}-}\) Hölder function. On the other, we show that the length of the gaps has a sub-exponential estimate which depends on its label given by the gap-labeling theorem.
