Ce résultat renforce des théorèmes isopérimétriques de Nehari [11] et de Bandle [2] qui généralisaient le théorème de Rayleigh-Faber-Krahn [14].
Summary The isoperimetric inequalityP 2 = for the circle, conjectured by Pólya and Szegö [14] and proved in [I], is extended to some nonhomogeneous problems. This result sharpens some extensions of the Rayleigh-Faber-Krahn theorem [14] due to Nehari [11] and Bandle [2].

In this Note we introduce a new three field mixed formulation to approximate the solution of a nonlinear elasticity problem based on the Raviart–Thomas type elements. We describe the asymptotic behaviour of the solution of a linear elastic problem posed in a domain of R3, with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions imposed on small zones of size less than ɛ distributed on some part of the boundary of this domain, when the parameter ɛ tends to 0. Komornik obtained explicit estimates of energy decay rate. We study the existence of solution for the minimization of the energy of an incompressible viscous fluid with respect to the shape of the domain occupied by the fluid. We show that the state equations can be relaxed to measurable sets. So an existence result can be obtained in the family of Cacciopoli sets. The obstructions, for a closed smooth differential form of bidimension (p,p) on a projective manifold, to be cohomologous to an algebraic cycle with complex coefficients, are calculated in terms of the Chow transformation. They can be expressed as an orthogonality condition, on the manifold itself, with families parametrized by the Grassmannian of currents that are completely determined. Each of these currents is ddc-closed and with support in the intersection of the manifold and of the projective subspace associated with the parameter. By the theory of harmonic forms, a period is thus associated with that differential form for each parameter. We study the set of periods, obtained when the parameter varies, and we arrive at a continuity on the Grassmannian, when the cohomology class is rational. The same property can be obtained by going to the space of divisors of the Grassmannian and by using a characterization of Chow forms. We proceed here directly, by calculating the periods by means of the Atiyah–Hirzebruch theorem. This global continuity implies the orthogonality for all parameter.  相似文献
