The nonlinear dust acoustic waves in two-dimensional dust plasma with dust charge variation is analytically investigated by using the formally variable separation approach. New analytical solutions for the governing equation of this system have been obtained for dust acoustic waves in a dust plasma for the first time. Nonlinear equations governing dust-drift waves in magnetized dusty plasma with transverse shear flow are derived.For the specific profiles of flow and the plasma equilibrium density,a new type of solution in the form of tripolar vortices in found.The results show that the peak magnitude of tripolar vortices increases with increasing shear intensity and dust content. 相似文献

The oscillations of a single magnetized dust grain in electronegative plasma sheath are investigated taking into account the existence of an external magnetic field. The influence of the content of negative ions and the magnetic field intensity on the properties of the dust vibration is analysed. The result shows that the existence of the negative ions in plasma reduces the dust oscillation frequency and drops the equilibrium position of dust, whereas the magnetic field raises the equilibrium position and also reduces the dust oscillation frequency on the condition considered. 相似文献

Dust lattice waves of a one-dimensional plasma crystal chain with an external magnetic field are investigated. When the magnetic field is in the vertical direction (θ- 0), perpendicular to the chain, the vertical transverse mode is not affected, while the horizontal transverse mode is coupled with the longitudinal mode. In the high frequency range, we obtain an ‘upper-hybrid' dust lattice mode and in the low frequency range, we obtain a 'lower-hybrid' dust lattice mode. Between the two modes, a 'gap' is formed. When the magnetic field is oriented to the chain (0 = π/2), the longitudinal mode is not affected while both the horizontal and vertical transverse modes are shifted due to the effect of the magnetic field. 相似文献

The dispersion relation is derived for three-dimensional dust-acoustic waves in a current-driven dusty plasmas with both positively and negatively charged dust particles. The dependencies of the frequency and the growth rate on the wave number K, the intensity of magnetic field B, and the inclination angle θ have been numerically shown in this paper. The growth rate is negative for the laboratory dusty plasma, but it is positive for the cosmic dusty plasma. It is found that when the inclination angle θ = π/2, there is no instability. The effect of the electrostatic field Eo has also been studied in this paper. 相似文献

It is shown that the large amplitude low-frequency electromagnetic drift waves in electron-positron-ion plasmas might give rise to dipolar vortices. A linear dispersion relation of several coupled electrostatic and electromagnetic low-frequency modes is obtained. A two-dimensional dusty plasma lattice in an rf discharge was observed.The structural and dynamical porperties were analysed by computing pair correlation function,static structure factor.bond-orientational correlation function and mean square displacement.The bond-orientational correlation function was found to fit into the law of ^-0.25,and the mean square displacement experienced “ballistic“,“subdiffusive“and “diffusive“regimes, both of which together with the other parameters indicate that the two-dimensional dusty plasma stayed at a state between liquid and solid. 相似文献

Based on our recently proposed grid-enhanced plasma source ion implantation(GEPSII) technique for inner surface modification of materials with cylindrical geometry,we present the corresponding theoretical studies of the temporal evolution of the plasma ion sheath between the grid electrode and the target in a cylindrical bore.Typical results such as the ion sheath evolution,time-dependent ion density and time-integrated ion energy distribution at the target are calculated by solving Poisson‘s equation coupled with fluid equations for collisionless ions and BOltzmann assumption for electrons using finite difference methods.The calculated results can further verifty the feasibility and superiority of this new technique. 相似文献

By taking into account thermic emission current from hot dust surface, the problem involved in dust charging and levitation of dust grains in plasma sheath has been researched. The results are compared to that without including thermal emission current while the system parameters are same. It is found that the thermal emission current has played a significant role on modifying the dust charging and balance levitations. Both of the charging numbers of dust and the dust radius in balance are dramatically reduced. The stability of dust levitation is also analyzed and discussed. 相似文献

The present work proposes a theoretical method called ionization dynamics to derive the ionic charge state distribution. Using relativistic quantum mechanics to calculate the energy level lifetime and average ionic lifetime of each ion, the first-order ionization rate constant can be obtained. Based on these data, from the solution of differential equations for consecutive-irreversible ionization reactions, one will be able to derive the ionic charge state distribution.The calculated average positive charge 49.24 of Au^48 ~ Au^52 and their relative distribution are in good agreement with the results of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. 相似文献

We investigate the equilibrium and levitation of dust grains in a plasma sheath with various forces,in particular the wake potential force.The vertical oscillation frequency of dust chains is also obtained by including the wake potential term.It is found that the wake potential has a significant role for the levitation and oscillation of dust grains. 相似文献

Using the standard reductive perturbation technique,a nonlinear Schroedinger equation is derived to study the modulational instability of finite-amplitude ion-acoustic waves in a non-magnetized warm plasma.It is found that the inclusion of ion temperature in the equation modifies the nature of the ion-acoustic wave stability and the soliton stuctures.The effects of ion plasma temperature on the modulational stability and ion-acoustic wave properties are inestigated in detail. 相似文献

It is shown that the dust charge fluctuation brings a phase shift to the wave. Diamond-like carbon(DLC)films were prepared on Si(100) substrates by ion implantation from an electron cyclotron resonance microwave plasma source.During the implantation,650W microwave power was used to produce discharge plasma with methane as working gas,and-20KV voltage pulses were applied to the substrate holder to accelerate ions in the plasma.Confocal Raman spectra confirmed the DLC characteristics of the films.Fourier-transform infrared characterization indicates that the DLC films were composed of sp^3 and sp^2 carbonbonded hydrogen.The hardness of the films was evaluated with a Nano Indenter-XP System.The result shows that the highest hardness valus was 14.6 GPa.The surface rms roughness of the films was as low as 0.104nm measured with an atomic force microscope.The friction coeffcient of the films was checked using a ball-on-disk microtribometer.The average friction coefficient is approximately 0.122. 相似文献

The dusty plasma structures in a glow discharge of helium in a tube cooled by superfluid helium at a temperature of 1.6 K and higher have been studied experimentally. The bimodal dust plasma formed by clouds of polydisperse cerium dioxide particles and polymer nanoparticles has been analyzed. We have observed wave oscillations in the cloud of polymer nanoparticles (with a size up to 100 nm), which existed in a narrow temperature range from 1.6 to 2.17 K. Vortices have been observed in the dusty plasma structures at helium temperatures. 相似文献

Two-gap capillary plasma generator is a realistic alternative to the conventional capillary in electrothermal launchers. It is designed to accomplish two goals: repetitive operation and a compact power supply system in which capillary itself serves as a closing switch. A theoretical model is proposed to investigate the trigger process of this kind of generator. Both ablation case and no ablation case are considered. Trigger delay time is also theoretically analysed. The calculation shows that capillary wall ablation can greatly change the behaviour of trigger discharge arc and plasma flow generated. A movable mass spectroscopy gas sampling apparatus has been established and a straight-line fit of silane depletion fraction f is proposed. The spatial density distributions of SiHn (n=0-3) radicals in silane radio frequency glow discharge have been measured by a mass spectrometer. The experimental results demonstrate that the densities of the neutral radicals have the peak value near the middle position of electrodes, and the densities of SiH2 and SiH3 are higher than those of Si and SiH in silane plasma. This reveals that SiH2 and SiH3 may be the primary precursors in forming the a-Si:H film. 相似文献
