It is shown in this paper that each family of measures with values in an abelian topological group which is equicontinuous on a ring is equicontinuous on the generated -ring. A family of measures is equicontinuous iff the corresponding family of semivariations is equicontinuous. It is furthermore shown that a family of measures which is equicontinuous and Cauchy convergent on a ring is Cauchy convergent on the generated -ring. A family of measures which is Cauchy convergent for all countable sums of elements of a ring is Cauchy convergent on the generated -ring. 相似文献

2(X,), and is the regular representation of .(2) In particular this estimate holds when is Lebesgue measure on B, a Patterson–Sullivan measure, or a -stationary measure, and implies explicit lower bounds for the displacement and Margulis number of (w.r.t. a finite generating set), the dimension of the conformal density, the -entropy of the measure, and Lyapunov exponents of .(3) In particular, when G=PSL2() and is free, the new lower bound of the displacement is somewhat smaller than the Culler–Shalen bound (which requires an additional assumption) and is greater than the standard ball-packing bound.We also prove that ()=G() for any amenable action of G and L
1(G), and conversely, give a spectral criterion for amenability of an action of G under certain natural dynamical conditions. In addition, we establish a uniform lower bound for the -entropy of any measure quasi-invariant under the action of a group with property T, and use this fact to construct an interesting class of actions of such groups, related to 'virtual' maximal parabolic subgroups. We study the approximation of the solutions of the variational inequality by using the following perturbed variational inequality: for f H, f – f , find u, K for which 0 for all v K, where , , and are positive parameters, and K, a perturbation of the set K, is a nonempty closed convex set in H. The extensions, new developments and new interpretations for DEA covered in this paper include: (1) new measures of efficiency, (2) new models and (3) new ways of implementing established models with new results and interpretations presented that include treatments of congestion, returns-to-scale and mix and technical inefficiencies and measures of efficiency that can be used to reflect all pertinent properties. Previously used models, such as those used to identify allocative inefficiencies, are extended by means of assurance region approaches which are less demanding in their information requirements and underlying assumptions. New opportunities for research are identified in each section of this chapter.
